We conducted a comparison experiment of our wide-area spraying high speed fan with a fan which was developed by Japan MARUYAMA Inc. have been much recognized for it's history and skills in a field of spraying machine. In result, MARUYAMA Inc. fan sprayed up to 120 m and, on the other hand, wide-area spraying high speed fan of our own making was able to spray up to more than 160 m. Wide-area spraying machine have been supplied to domestic demands by importing from Japan, but it is determined to be possible that home products will occupy market for it's ability, price and A/S environment in future. The main research results are below. Some plastic cups which are in the open market are used for our experiment. After distributing 90 cups in a range of 10m vertically with localizing 5 cups horizontally and 18 cups vertically, spraying machine was moved and finally we make distribution charts by estimating the sprayed amounts on each cup. Vertical distance was set up to 5m and we calculated average values by using sprayed amount and data of 4 observers. In result our fan showed much sprayed amounts than MARUYAMA Inc. all over the field except situations of vehicle departing and stopping.
With the common tendency in the accordance with the trend, low-stories built edifices that are Pilotis-oriented structured exponentially and constantly increasing its number of buildings. It inevitably contains its risks of facing conflagrations as most of its part is used as parking lots. In the parking lots, the length of the flame has a heavy-weighted possibility that it would get increased because the heat release rate gets relatively high due to the vehicle insulation. Following on top of that, due to the nature of the Pilotisconsisting of pillars, there is a risk of flame spread to the adjacent building if the same Pilotis-structured buildings are adjacent to each other, if the flame spreads to the surroundings due to the influence of the wind. Because the most of the pilotis-structured-buildings have this entrance that makes the residents be able to enter, if the entrance were plugged the resident get a serious risk of a poisonous gas and a flame. Therefore, if the parking-lots of the pilotis-structured-buildings are adjacent to each other it requires a space to prevent the place from the spread of flame. This research studied how far is appropriate to prevent flame spreading with FDS. As a result, the study found that the distance at least 3.0 m is required.

Recently, the integrated utilization of technology with IT is in demand for the effectiveness of field management together with the prevention and prompt action on safety accident at construction site. In addition, the establishment of construction site support system is necessary to implement the securing of worker's safety, smooth work instruction, efficiency in construction, and others. Data standardization and network architecture were designed regarding data and sound information for data transmission between systems and management. These were to construct USFSS based on integrated VI-GNSS technology in this research. In the stability test of data for each system constructed through it, around 98% stability was secured between workers and for transfer vehicle system within underground structure and field server system in regards to the data transmission stability, around 100% stability was secured between field server system and control system, respectively. Also, in the sound transmission stability test, around 99% reliability could be secured with 1km distance as its standard in case of sound transmission from underground structure construction site to field office near the field through wireless FRS system.

In 2011, greenhouse gas emissions of transport sector were 85.04 million $tonCO_2eq$ and road emissions accounted for 95% of total emissions in the transport sector. There are few innovative technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions aside from eco-driving education and public relation program. Therefore, this paper focused on analyzing optimal acceleration by certain road grades and suggested fuel-efficient driving method for various uphill sections. Scenarios were established by driving modes. Speed profiles were generated by scenarios and speed variations. Each speed profile applied to Comprehensive Modal Emission Model and then each fuel consumption was estimated. Driving mode and speed variation that minimized fuel consumption were driven according to grade percent and uphill distance. When driving in the eco-friendly mode of the driving and speed variation, reduction rate of fuel consumption was evaluated by comparison between eco-driving and cruise control mode. When a vehicle drove under eco-driving mode at 100kph, 90kph and 80kph on uphill road, fuel consumptions were reduced by 33.9%, 30.8% and 5.3%, respectively.
Forest investigation is the basic data for forest preservation and forest resource development, and periodical data acquisition and management have been performed. However, most of the current forest investigations in Korea are surveys to grasp the current status of forests, and various applications have not been made as geospatial information. In this study, the unmanned aerial scanner was used to acquire and process data in the forest area and to present an efficient forest survey method through analysis of the results. Unmanned aerial scanners can extract ground below vegetation, effectively creating DEM for forest management. It can be used as geospatial information for forest investigation and management by generating accurate topographical data that is impossible in conventional photogrammetry. It can also be used to measure distances between power lines and vegetation or manage transmission lines in forest areas. The accurate vertical distance measurement for vegetation surveys can greatly improve the accuracy of labor measurement and work efficiency compared to conventional methods. In the future, the use of unmanned aerial scanners will improve the data acquisition efficiency in forest areas, and will contribute to improved accuracy and economic feasibility compared to conventional methods.
An amendment to Japanese Civil Aeronautics Act came into effect December 10, 2015. The Act prohibits flying drones over residential areas or areas surrounding an airport without permission from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation. Flying drones during night time and during an event is also prohibited. The term "UAV" or "UA" means any aeroplane, rotorcraft, glider or airship which cannot accommodate any person on board and can be remotely or automatically piloted (Excluding those lighter than a certain weight (200 grams). Any person who intends to operate a UAV is required to follow the operational conditions listed below, unless approved by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism; (i) Operation of UAVs in the daytime, (ii) Operation of UAVs within Visual Line of Sight (VLOS), (iii) Maintenance of a certain operating distance between UAVs and persons or properties on the ground/water surface, (iv) Do not operate UAVs over event sites where many people gather, (v) Do not transport hazardous materials such as explosives by UAV, (vi) Do not drop any objects from UAVs. Requirements stated in "Airspace in which Flights are Prohibited" and "Operational Limitations" are not applied to flights for search and rescue operations by public organizations in case of accidents and disasters. This paper analyzes some issues as to regulations of UAVs in Korean Aviation Safety Act by comparing the regulations of UAVs in Japanese Civil Aeronautics Act. This paper, also, offers some implications and suggestions for regulations of UAVs under Korean Aviation Safety Act.

Purpose: Safety inspections by existing personnel have been limited in evaluation and data securing due to concerns about the safety of technicians or difficulty in accessing them, and are becoming a bigger problem as the number of maintenance targets increases due to the aging of facilities. As drone technology develops, it is possible to ensure the safety of personnel, secure visual data, and diagnose quickly, and use it is increasing as safety inspection of facilities by drones was introduced recently. In order to further enhance utilization, it is considered necessary to base a consideration standard for facility appearance investigation by drones, and in this paper, research was conducted on dams. Method: To calculate the quality, existing domestic safety inspection and drone-related consideration standards were investigated, and procedures related to safety inspection using drones were compared and analyzed to review work procedures and construction types. In addition, empirical data were collected through drone photography and elevation image production for the actual dam. Result: Work types for safety inspection of facilities using drones were derived, and empirical survey results were collected for two dams according to work types. The existing guidelines were applied for the adjustment ratios for each structural type and standard of the facility, and if a meteorological reference point survey was necessary, the unmanned aerial vehicle survey of the construction work standard was applied. Conclusion: The finer the GSD in appearance investigation using drones, the greater the number of photographs taken, and the concept of adjustment cost was applied as a correction to calculate the consideration standard. In addition, it was found that the problem of maximum GSD indicating limitations should be considered in order to maintain the safe distance.

The AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is not evaluated for spatial accuracy and temporal availability even if it is located within a building or a specific area that needed necessary to partition by spatial analysis and location allocation analysis. As a result of the analysis, the spatial analysis was performed using the existing public data of AED with applied the GIS location analysis method. A public institution (119 safety center, police box) was selected as a candidate for a public AED base that can operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year according to the characteristics of each residential area. In addition, Thiessen Polygons were created for each candidate site and divided by regions. In the analysis of the service was analyzed regional in terms of accessibility to emergency medical services in consideration of the characteristics of AED, that emergency vehicles could arrive within 4 minutes of the time required for emergency medical treatment in most areas of the study area, but it did not areas outside of the city center. As a result, It was found that the operation of the AED base service center centered on vehicles of public institutions is effective for responding to AED patients at night and weekend hours. 19 Safety Center under and police box the jurisdiction of Daegu City to establish an AED service center for public institutions, location-based distance, attribute analysis, and minimization of overlapping areas that the method of using a vehicle appeared more efficient than using the existing walking type AED.
In this paper, we propose a post-processing method through interpolation of hole regions that occur when extracting point clouds. When image matching is performed on stereo image data, holes occur due to occlusion and building façade area. This area may become an obstacle to the creation of additional products based on the point cloud in the future, so an effective processing technique is required. First, an initial point cloud is extracted based on the disparity map generated by applying stereo image matching. We transform the point cloud into a grid. Then a hole area is extracted due to occlusion and building façade area. By repeating the process of creating Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) triangle in the hall area and processing the inner value of the triangle as the minimum height value of the area, it is possible to perform interpolation without awkwardness between the building and the ground surface around the building. A new point cloud is created by adding the location information corresponding to the interpolated area from the grid data as a point. To minimize the addition of unnecessary points during the interpolation process, the interpolated data to an area outside the initial point cloud area was not processed. The RGB brightness value applied to the interpolated point cloud was processed by setting the image with the closest pixel distance to the shooting center among the stereo images used for matching. It was confirmed that the shielded area generated after generating the point cloud of the target area was effectively processed through the proposed technique.

Construction waste is generated at a rate of approximately 221,102 tons/day in Korea. In particular, mixed construction waste generates approximately 24,582 tons/day. The other components were recycled by 98.9%. The amount of greenhouse gas emissions from the waste was 17.1 million tons of CO2 equaling 2.3% of the total greenhouse gas emissions. To reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reducing the environmental impact is becoming increasingly important. However, appropriate treatment must first be established, as mixed construction waste is also increasing. Thus, an effective plan is urgently needed because it is frequently segregated and sorted by the landfill and incinerated. In addition, there is an urgent need to prepare various effective recycling methods rather than a simple treatment. Therefore, this study analyzed the environmental impact of the treatment of mixed construction waste by calculating greenhouse gas emissions. As a result, the highest greenhouse gas generation occurred during the incineration stage. Moreover, the optimal method to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is recycling and energy recovery from waste. In addition, the amount of greenhouse gas generated during energy recovery from the waste stage was the second highest. However, greenhouse gas emissions can be reduced by using waste as energy to reduce fossil fuel consumption. In addition, for the transportation stage, the optimal reduction plan is to minimize the amount of greenhouse gas emissions by setting the optimal distance and applying biofuel and electric vehicle operations.
