It is conducted that study on corner crack protection for various thermal environment in a flat panel display. Most of the consumer electronics consist of a plastic and a metal structure. And different properties of materials could cause failure of structural reliability due to the various operating temperatures. Especially for front bezel with thin and slender structure, the effect of temperature is significant, and the design for crack protection is crucial for thermal reliability of displays. In this study, it is prescribed the behavior of the front bezel in flat panel display for various operation temperatures and proposed design parameters to ensure the structural reliability of displays.

On the whole the various medium colors were developed by repeat dyeing with different colorants after dyeing with one colorant in case of natural dyeing. In this study, however in order to obtain various colors on silk fabrics with natural dyes, pre-mordanting and combination dyeing were carried out. Metal compounds containing alum, copper and iron were used for pre-mordants. Gardenia and Sappan wood were used as colorants for combination dyeing. In combination dyeing of Gardenia and Sappan wood, these two natural colorants showed good miscibility in dye bath. The various colors were obtained according to various metal compounds for pre-mordants and various mixing portion of Gardenia and Sappan wood.

This study was carried out to investigate combination dyeing of the cationized cotton with natural colorants extracted from Gardenia and Sappan wood extract using methanol. To improve dyeing properties of cotton with natural dye, cotton fabric was preheated with cationizing agent containing chlorohydrine group in aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide. In this paper, we investigate various factors that are relevant to design and implementation of an integrated management system for various speech corpora. The purpose of this paper is to manage an integrated management system for various kinds of speech corpora necessary for speech research and speech corpora consrtructed in different data formats. In addition, ways are considered to allow users to search with effect for speech corpora that meet various conditions which they want, and to allow them to add with ease corpora that are constructed newly. In order to achieve this goal, we design a global schema for an integrated management of new additional information without changing old speech corpora, and construct a web-based integrated management system based on the scheme that can be accessed without any temporal and spatial restrictions. And we show the steps by which these can be implemented, and describe related future study topics, examining the system.

During the 21st century of informational society, in the learning of various field will utilize the education using multi-media more extensively than ever before. The biggest question is how effective the education using multi-media will be. For effective education, wide-spread supply of not only the hardware and various kinds of CBT or CAI that are being developed in the learning of various fields. It is also felt that the skill for application of more convenient multi-media authoring tool is needed. If the producter of such multi-media authoring tool can store various types of information in a form of data bank, accessing the right information at right time and its application would be possible. It can also provide a lot of information to many out-of town learmers. As seen above, the scope of usage for multi-media authoring tool will be broadened. However, no matter how excellent the Authoring Tool is, the results can be very different depending on the method employed. In order to develop CBT or CAI that can be better used in the learning of various fields, examination and on-site training, more reseach should be done in Authoring Tool using virtual reality and artifical intelligence technology.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the Myokmok, a kind of shroud. This study classifies Myokmok by its size, shape, cloths and color. Korean Myokmok through literatures are as follows. The size of Myokmok was one Ch'ok(尺) two Ch'on(寸). The surface of Myokmok were mostly black and the lining was mostly red. The cloths of Myokmok were Paek(帛) and Chu(紬). Myokmok through relics was various in size and the cloths were Kongdan(貢緞), Myongchu(明紬) and the color was various. Actual conditions of current Myokmok were various. The size, shape and cloths were more variable than the literatures and relics. In the Chinese Myokmok through literatures, the size were one Ch'ok two Ch'on, one Ch'ok and one Ch'ok five Ch'on. The cloths of Myokmok were Paek and Kyon(絹). The surface of Myokmok were mostly black and the lining was mostly red. Myokmok in Munkonggaryoieuichul was tide by the strings of four corners. The size of the Chinese Myokmok was various. The shape of the current Myokmok was various than the literatures and relics.

Microbeam PIXE, often called micro-PIXE, is one of powerful tools for analyzing a wide range of elements for various samples. Moreover, it has important applications of interest to the atmospheric science. In the present study, a qualitative elemental imagination for various atmospheric environmental species was attempted using micro-PIXE. Especially, in combination with a novel individual droplet collection method and the micro-PIXE analytical technique, the chemical specification of various individual atmospheric samples could be carried out. Here, we briefly introduce the results of an application of micro-PIXE to the study of atmospheric environment. The detailed spatial resolution of multiple elements for various samples like individual ambient particles, individual raindrops, individual fog droplets, and individual snow crystals could be successfully achieved by scanning 2.6 MeV $H^+$ micro beam ($1{\sim}2{\mu}m$) accelerated by 3 MeV single-end accelerator.

In operating a turbomachine at off-design conditions various instabilities caused by anomalous flow phenomena occur and sometimes lead to the damage of a turbomachine. In order to avoid these phenomena various devices characteristic to each phenomenon have been developed, however they make turbomachines large-sized and cause efficiency drop. The present author has developed a very simple and innovative device, termed "J-groove," of suppressing various anomalous flow phenomena commonly by controlling the angular momentum of the main flow. It has been revealed that J-groove makes an operation of a turbomachine stable in all flow range, causes little efficiency drop, and can be easily applied to an existing machine. Here is reviewed totally the results of suppressing various anomalous flow phenomena in turbomachines.

Due to the drastic technological innovation and introduction of various kinds, of new communication services, the structure and operation of communication networks are becoming complicated and diversified more and more. Accordingly, the necessity of flexible simulation tools which can be utilized for various performance evaluation jobs in various types of communication networks is growing. In this article, various existing simulation tools are briefly surveyed and the requirements for the simulator dedicated for the performance evaluation of communication networks are discussed. Then, a strategy to develop a simulator dedicated for the performance evaluation of communication networks is proposed. Our approach is based on the prototyping strategy, in which a relatively simple prototype structure is developed first and more functions are added whenever necessary. By following this strategy, a simulator can be developed and evolved in a timely manner at a relatively small cost.
