Due to nonlinear-synthetic uncertainty including the total unknown nonlinear load torque, the total parameter variation and the fixed load torque, a synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) driving a continuously variable transmission (CVT) system causes a lot of nonlinear effects. Linear control methods make it hard to achieve good control performance. To increase the control performance and reduce the influence of nonlinear time-synthetic uncertainty, an admixed recurrent Gegenbauer orthogonal polynomials neural network (ARGOPNN) with a modified particle swarm optimization (MPSO) control system is proposed to achieve better control performance. The ARGOPNN with a MPSO control system is composed of an observer controller, a recurrent Gegenbauer orthogonal polynomial neural network (RGOPNN) controller and a remunerated controller. To insure the stability of the control system, the RGOPNN controller with an adaptive law and the remunerated controller with a reckoned law are derived according to the Lyapunov stability theorem. In addition, the two learning rates of the weights in the RGOPNN are regulating by using the MPSO algorithm to enhance convergence. Finally, three types of experimental results with comparative studies are presented to confirm the usefulness of the proposed ARGOPNN with a MPSO control system.

Explicitly spatially distributed and reliable data on industrial water demand is very much important for both policy makers and researchers in order to carry a region-specific analysis of water resources management. However, such type of data remains scarce particularly in underdeveloped and developing countries. Current research is limited in using different spatially available socio-economic, climate data and geographical data from different sources in accordance to predict industrial water demand at finer resolution. This study proposes a random forest regression (RFR) model to predict the industrial water demand at 0.50× 0.50 spatial resolution by combining various features extracted from multiple data sources. The dataset used here include National Polar-orbiting Partnership (NPP)/Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) night-time light (NTL), Global Power Plant database, AQUASTAT country-wise industrial water use data, Elevation data, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Road density, Crop land, Population, Precipitation, Temperature, and Aridity. Compared with traditional regression algorithms, RF shows the advantages of high prediction accuracy, not requiring assumptions of a prior probability distribution, and the capacity to analyses variable importance. The final RF model was fitted using the parameter settings of ntree = 300 and mtry = 2. As a result, determinate coefficients value of 0.547 is achieved. The variable importance of the independent variables e.g. night light data, elevation data, GDP and population data used in the training purpose of RF model plays the major role in predicting the industrial water demand.
The thermoelectric power, dc conductivity and magnetic properties of the cubic L $a_{2}$ 3/Ti $O_{2.84}$ were investigated. The thermoelectric power was negative below 350 K. The measured thermoelectric power of L $a_{2}$ 3/Ti $O_{2.84}$ increased linearly with temperature, in agreement with model proposed by Emin and Wood, and was represented by A+BT. Temperature dependence indicates that the charge carrier in this material is a small polaron. L $a_{2}$ 3/Ti $O_{2.84}$ exhibited a cross over from variable range hopping to small polaron hopping conduction at a characteristic temperature well below room temperature. The low temperature do conduction mechanism in L $a_{2}$ 3/Ti $O_{2.84}$ was analyzed using Mott's approach. Mott parameter analysis gave values for the density of state at Fermi level [N( $E_{F}$)] = 3.18${\times}$10$^{20}$ c $m^{-3}$ e $V^{-1}$ . The disorder energy ( $W_{d}$) was found to be 0.93 eV, However, it was noted that the value of the disorder energy was much higher than the high temperature activation energy. The exist linear relation between log($\sigma$T)와 1/T in the range of 200 to 300 K, the activation energy for small polaron hopping was 0.15 eV.
Purpose - The objective of this paper is to suggest that a company's CRM activities have an effect on customer loyalty in the Korean retail industry. Typically, Korean customers use large local marts with convenience in the absence of any other choice. Therefore, this study aims to shed light on the fact that customers do not break away from their preferred retail stores, either owing to their stringent loyalty (the lie loyalty) or difficulty in turning to alternative choices. Research design, data, methodology - By surveying a sample of 200 hyper-markets through a questionnaire, and excluding dubious and missing responses, I obtained 181 samples to be included in the empirical analysis. The survey was conducted for two weeks during October 2011. AMOS and SPSS18 statistical packages were used for conducting statistical analysis for this study. This paper was developed using the concept of customer equity on CRM, which is known to have a positive impact on customer loyalty through the satisfaction and switching-barrier parameters. The hypothesis of this paper is that customer equity is composed of relationship equity, value equity and brand equity, and that the relationship equity variable has positive effects on the value equity and brand equity amongst other types of customer equity. Moreover, customer equity influences customer loyalty through parameters including customer satisfaction and switching costs in the Korean retail industry. Results - According to the results of the analysis, it was confirmed that relationship value had a positive effect (+) on all variables, including the perceived QoS (Quality of Service), store brand images, economic value, and store convenience. It was also confirmed that the assumption that the perceived QoS (Quality of Service), economic value, and store convenience had a positive effect on customer satisfaction was shown to be statistically significant, with a p-value below 0.05. Only the store brand value variable had an effect on the switching-cost variable with respect to the causal sequence of the variables, including the perceived QoS, store brand value, economic value, and store convenience. The remaining variables did not seem to influence the switching-cost variable. On the other hand, another effect showed that customer satisfaction had a statistically significant influence on the switching-costs variable. Moreover, the customer satisfaction and switching-cost variables also had a statistical influence on customer loyalty. Conclusions - The CRM activities had an influence on various variables (including perceived QoS, perceived economic value, store brand value, and store convenience) pertaining to customer values. Customer satisfaction and switching-cost had some effects on customer loyalty as a parameter. This confirms that stringent loyalty exists with respect to customer loyalty in the retail industry. The fact that the variable had such a statistically significant influence on the switching-cost and store brand equity variables means that consumers react to the reputation of a brand, confidence about the store, and quality confidence. The implications of this study in the retail industry should be further extended to devise strategies for customer retention.
2-mass system is generally used as controller of the variable-speed to transfer electromotion power to mechanical load such as industrial robot, driving parts of electric vehicle, rolling machine system of steel plant and driving parts of elevator. In this case, PI controller is often used as a velocity controller because of simplicity of system. But PI control algorithm is not enough for obtaining the control characteristics required for this system. To solve this problem, 2-mass system based on the PID controller derives the optimum PID parameters by pole assignment and estimation of the ITAE performance index. In this case, the system have tenacious properties about disturbance, but it causes extreme overshoot and vibration because of rapidly output of controller in early transient response about desired value. And if speed control system is applied by 2-DOF parameter ${\alpha}$, a temporary value, we must induce most suitable parameter by complicate pole assignment and estimation of the ITAE performance index whenever ${\alpha}$ changes. In this paper, to solve this problem we suggest control algorithm to followed exactly value of ${\alpha}$ as 2-DOF parameter by using fuzzy algorithm . So, intelligence algorithm modeled by human knowledge, experience, teachability and judgment follow exact ${\alpha}$ value and it can compose the efficient 2-DOF PID controller to improve following performance, overshoot decrease.
This article presents strain gradient elasticity-based procedures for static bending, free vibration and buckling analyses of functionally graded rectangular micro-plates. The developed method allows consideration of smooth spatial variations of length scale parameters of strain gradient elasticity. Governing partial differential equations and boundary conditions are derived by following the variational approach and applying Hamilton's principle. Displacement field is expressed in a unified way to produce numerical results in accordance with Kirchhoff, Mindlin, and third order shear deformation theories. All material properties, including the length scale parameters, are assumed to be functions of the plate thickness coordinate in the derivations. Developed equations are solved numerically by means of differential quadrature method. Proposed procedures are verified through comparisons made to the results available in the literature for certain limiting cases. Further numerical results are provided to illustrate the effects of material and geometric parameters on bending, free vibrations, and buckling. The results generated by Kirchhoff and third order shear deformation theories are in very good agreement, whereas Mindlin plate theory slightly overestimates static deflection and underestimates natural frequency. A rise in the length scale parameter ratio, which identifies the degree of spatial variations, leads to a drop in dimensionless maximum deflection, and increases in dimensionless vibration frequency and buckling load. Size effect is shown to play a more significant role as the plate thickness becomes smaller compared to the length scale parameter. Numerical results indicate that consideration of length scale parameter variation is required for accurate modelling of graded rectangular micro-plates.
This study aimed to provide a strategy for selecting an adequate combination of growth intervals(i.e. times between age $T_1$ and age $T_2$) to be used to improve the reality of the growth equation through obtaining better precision of parameter estimates. Variety of growth functions were fitted to the data and one equation which best fitted the data was chosen for the analysis. A modified Schumacher projection equation, selected as a best equation, that included dummy variables representing locality as a predictor variable was fitted for basal area and height equations with nonoverlapping growth interval and all possible growth interval data sets of Douglas-fir(Pseudotsuga menziesii Mirb.Franco). The data were measured in all parts of the South Island of New Zealand. It was found that the precision of parameter estimates was increased in both basal area and height equations by using data set which contained a range of measurement intervals from short to long term.

The use of flip-chip technology has many advantages over other approaches for high-density electronic packaging. ACF (anisotropic conductive film) is one of the major flip-chip technologies, which has short chip-to-chip interconnection length, high productivity, and miniaturization of package. In this study, thermal fatigue lift of ACF bonding flip-chip package has been predicted. Elastic and thermal properties of ACF were measured by using DMA and TMA. Temperature dependent nonlinear hi-thermal analysis was conducted and the result was compared with Moire interferometer experiment. Calculated displacement field was well matched with experimental result. Thermal fatigue analysis was also conducted. The maximum shear strain occurs at the outmost located bump. Shear stress-strain curve was obtained to calculate fatigue life. Fatigue model for electronic adhesives was used to predict thermal fatigue life of ACF bonding flip-chip packaging. DOE (Design of Experiment) technique was used to find important design factors. The results show that PCB CTE (Coefficient of Thermal Expansion) and elastic modulus of ACF material are important material parameters. And as important design parameters, chip width, bump pitch and bump width were chose. 2$^{nd}$ DOE was conducted to obtain RSM equation far the choose 3 design parameter. The coefficient of determination ($R^2$) for the calculated RSM equation is 0.99934. Optimum design is conducted using the RSM equation. MMFD (Modified Method for feasible Direction) algorithm is used to optimum design. The optimum value for chip width, bump pitch and bump width were 7.87mm, 430$\mu$m, and 78$\mu$m, respectively. Approximately, 1400 cycles have been expected under optimum conditions. Reliability analysis was conducted to find out guideline for control range of design parameter. Sigma value was calculated with changing standard deviation of design variable. To acquire 6 sigma level thermal fatigue reliability, the Std. Deviation of design parameter should be controlled within 3% of average value.
This paper presents a feasible development on a highly accurate quick response adjustable speed drive implementation fur general purpose induction motor which operates on the basis of sensorless slip frequency type vector controlled sine-wave PWM inverter with an automatic tuning machine parameter estimation schemes. In the first place, the sensorless vector control theory on the three-phase voltage source-fed inverter induction motor drive system is developed in slip frequency based vector control principle. In particular, the essential procedure and considerations to measure and estimate the exact stator and rotor circuit parameters of general purpose induction motor are discussed under its operating conditions. The speed regulation characteristics of induction motor operated by the three-phase voltage-fed type current controlled PWM inverter using IGBT's is illustrated and evaluated fur machine parameter variations under the actual conditions of low frequency and high frequency operations for the load torque. In the second place, the variable speed induction motor drive system, employing sensorless vector control scheme which is based on three -phase high frequency carrier PWM inverter with automatic toning estimation schemes of the temperature -dependent and -independent machine circuit parameters, is practically implemented using DSP-based controller. Finally, the dynamic speed response performances for largely changed load torque disturbances as well as steady state speed vs. torque characteristics of this induction motor control implementation are illustrated and discussed from an experimental point of view.
In this study, the dynamic route choice behavior of driver is assumed to be affected by the current conditions of traffic environments as well as the Past traffic environments and activities. The repeated survey of multi-timed to owner drove in Chon-ju city by the virtual traffic information system was performed by the stated preference method. And the LISREL(An analysis of linear structural relationship) model was used. As the results. the variable Parameter and t-value of travel time information on applied model was high and their results have an effect greatly to the route choice. After all, the route choice was negative from Kirin-ro, which Penetrates the downtown, and positive from Chunbyun-ro which was a roundabout way was confirmed. Estimated result of the reasonability, the highest suitable model was ode which applied the concept of serial correlation and stated dependence and was shown applying rightfulness to dynamic model. As the serial correlation and stated dependence parameter value, when time interval was large, parameter value was small and the serial correlation and stated dependence was in inverse proportion ratio to the time interval.
