C.G.S공법을 적용한 연약점토지반에서의 거동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Behavior Characteristics of Soft Clay Ground by C.G.S Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 침하가 발생한 연약지반에 대하여 저유동성 몰탈에 의한 주입공법인 C.G.S공법의 적용성과 침하억제 효과를 확인하기 위하여 시험시공을 실시하였으며, 그 결과를 이용하여 지반조건에 적합한 설치직경, 간격, 심도, 주입재, 주입압 등 다양한 조건을 고려한 시공관리기준을 정하여 본 시공을 실시하였다. 본 시공과정 중에는 지반개량 효과를 파악하기 위하여 C.G.S개량 전, 후 현장지반조사 및 이에 따른 실내토질시험, 계측관리 등을 수행하였다. 현장 조사시험에 의한 강도특성 확인결과 C.G.S주입 주변지반은 개량전과 비교하여 전반적으로 지반강도가 증가되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 계측관리 및 압밀특성을 분석한 결과 주변지반의 압밀특성이 개선되었음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 특히 C.G.S주입재의 압축강도시험 결과 주변지반에 비해 강성이 매우 큰 C.G.S주입에 따른 복합지반효과를 통해 지지력 증대효과 및 응력분담으로 장래침하량을 억제할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 연약점성토 지반에서 C.G.S주입시공에 의한 침하억제효과로부터 공법의 적용성이 매우 양호한 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

추력방향제어장치인 램 탭의 개념설계 및 성능 연구 (A performance study and conceptual design on the ramp tabs of the thrust vector control)

  • Aerodynamic forces and moments have been used to control rocket propelled vehicles. If control is required at very low speed, Those systems only provide a limited capability because aerodynamic control force is proportional to the air density and low dynamic pressure. But thrust vector control(TVC) can overcome the disadvantages. TVC is the method which generates the side force and roll moment by controlling exhausted gas directly in a rocket nozzle. TVC is classified by mechanical and fluid dynamic methods. Mechanical methods can change the flow direction by several objects installed in a rocket nozzle exhaust such as tapered ramp tabs and jet vane. Fluid dynamic methods control the flight direction with the injection of secondary gaseous flows into the rocket nozzle. The tapered ramp tabs of mechanical methods are used in this paper. They installed at the rear in the rocket nozzle could be freely moved along axial and radial direction on the mounting ring to provide the mass flow rate which is injected from the rocket nozzle. In this paper, the conceptual design and the performance study on the tapered ramp tabs of the thurst vector control has been carried out using the supersonic cold flow system and shadow graph. Numerical simulation was also performed to study flow characteristics and interactions between ramp tabs. This paper provides to analyze the location of normal shock wave and distribution of surface pressure on the region enclosed by the tapered ramp tabs.

국내 해성 점성토의 강도증가율 평가 (Evaluation of Strength Incremental Ratio of Korean Marine Clayey Soil)

  • 국내 해성 점성토의 강도증가율 평가시, 흙의 물리적 특성인 소성지수 및 액성한계만을 이용해서 비교적 쉽게 구할 수 있으므로 연약 지반 설계 실무에서 폭넓게 적용되어온 경험식, Skempton(1954, 1957) 및 Hansbo(1957)의 적용성을 분석하였다. Scandinavia 반도지역의 해성 점성토 지반에서 수행된 현장베인시험(FVT) 결과를 이용하여 제안된 두 식은 소성지수와 점토 함유량의 비례관계를 나타내는 국내 지반 조건에서는 적용성이 떨어지므로, 압밀 및 강도 산정을 위한 역학시험을 통해서 강도증가율을 평가하는 것이 적절한 것으로 분석되었다. 일축압축강도 저평가 경향의 인천, 화성 및 군산 저소성 토질의 결과를 제외하면, 소성지수에 관계없이 국내 해성 점성토 지반의 강도증가율은 대략 0.25~0.35 사이에서 분포하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • Recently, plastic products in air-intake parts of automotive engines have become very popular due to advantages that include reduced weight, constricted cost, and lower intake air temperature. However, flow-induced noise in air-intake parts becomes a more serious problem for plastic intake-manifolds than for conventional aluminum-made manifolds. This is due to the fact that plastic manifolds transmit more noise owing to their lower material density. Internal aerodynamic noise from an Idle Speed control Actuator (ISA) is qualitatively analyzed by using a scaling law, which is expressed with some flow parameters such as pressure drop, maximum flow velocity, and turbulence kinetic energy. First, basic flow characteristics through ISA passage are identified with the flow predictions obtained by applying Computational Fluid Dynamics techniques. Then, the effects on ISA passage noise of each design factors including the duct turning shape and vane geometries are assessed. Based on these results, the preliminary low noise design for the ISA passage are proposed. The current method for the prediction of internal aerodynamic noise consists of the steady CFD and the scaling laws for the noise prediction. This combination is most cost-effective, compared with other methods, and therefore is believed to be suited for the preliminary design tool in the industrial field.

Gun식 가스버너의 난류유동장 발달에 미치는 슬릿과 스월베인의 영향 (The Effect of Slits and Swirl Vanes on the Development of Turbulent Flow Fields in Gun-Type Gas Burner)

  • This paper is studied to investigate the effect of slits and swirl vanes on the development of turbulent flow fields in gun-type gas burner with a cone type baffle plate because this gas burner is generally composed of eight slits and swirl vanes. All of turbulent characteristics including mean velocities were measured in the horizontal plane and cross section by using X-type hot-wire probe from hot-wire anemometer system. This experiment is carried out at flow rate 450 l/min in the test section of subsonic wind tunnel. Slits cause the fast jets, and then they have the characteristic that the flow is not adequately spread to radial direction and has long flow length and very small flow velocity distribution in the central part. On the contrary, swirl vanes does not have long enough for adequate flow length to downstream because the rotational flow diffuses remarkably to radial direction. However, the suitable arrangement between slits and swirl vanes causes effective flow width and flow length, and then it promotes fast flow mixing over the entire region including central part to increase turbulence more largely and effectively. Therefore, it is thought as a very desirable design method in gun-type gas burner to locate slits on the outside of swirl vanes.

터보차저 컨트롤 플레이트의 절삭량 최소화를 위한 정형공정 (Net Shaping Process to Minimize Cutting amount of Turbocharger Control Plate)

  • Turbocharger is a device for increasing the power of a vehicle engine. The control plate is the main component for fixing the vane of the turbocharger. Now, the control plate is made of austenite steel cutting after the casting process. It has excellent corrosion, heat resistance and mechanical characteristics of material. However, present the process is made by cutting after casting. when cutting is processed after casting, so materials, processing time, and processing energy are lost. Therefore, this study proposes a process to powder compact use of stainless steel Deklak2 and to minimize amount of cutting through net shape process. The mechanical properties of Deklak2 were verified by tensile test, hardness test and relative density measurement, and the governed equation was defined. Also, the curvature radius 1, 2 and the density, affects the shape, were selected as the design parameters, and the best process conditions was proposed through the Taguchi method and the evaluation of SN ratio. And then prototype molds were fabricated and compared with the results of the finite element analysis for the verification, and it was found that the tendency of relative density and dimension was coincided. Therefore, it was found that the amount of cutting can be minimized by only the net shape process after the sintering process and it can be applied to mass production.

낮은 비속도를 갖는 터보펌프의 임펠러형상 최적화에 관한 연구 (Optimization of a Low Specific Speed Turbopump Impeller)

  • 본 연구에서는 낮은 비속도에서 작동하는 소형터보임펠러에서 베인의 형상을 최적화하여 출구에서 높은 양정을 얻기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 임펠러의 설계점에서 비속도는 SI 단위로 4.0이며 임펠러의 외경은 56mm이다. 최적화를 수행할 때 임펠러의 외경을 고정하여 펌프의 부피를 제한하였으며 임펠러 내부의 설계변수를 변경하면서 목적함수인 양정을 극대화하였다. 설계변수는 베인의 형상설계와 관련이 있는 8개의 설계변수를 사용하였으며, 최적화를 위한 방법으로는 반응면법을 사용하였다. 내부유동장의 계산은 상용코드인 CFX-10을 사용였으며, 최적화된 임펠러에서 얻어진 양정은 초기설계변수에 의하여 설계되어진 임펠러에 비하여 9.7%이상 증가하였다. 이러한 증가는 내부 유로에서의 재순환영역의 감소와 직접적인 관련이 있었다.

축열식 촉매 산화(RCO) 반응의 성능 최적화를 위한 전산 해석 (Numerical Calculations for the Optimal Performance of Regenerative Catalytic Oxidation(RCO))

  • 본 논문에서는 RCO 반응기의 최적 조업 조건을 도출하고자 현재 조업 중인 RTO 반응기 촉매층의 압력분포, 유속분포, 유선장, 체류시간, 온도분포 등에 대하여 분석하였고 최적의 조업 조건을 도출하기 위한 전산유체해석을 수행하였다. 전산 해석 결과, 현재 조업중인 반응기 촉매층의 축열재로 인한 압력손실은 크지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 세라믹 필터 이후 유속은 1.8~2.7 m/s로 특별한 편류없이 비교적 안정적 유속분포를 보이고 있었다. 기류분포를 좀 더 개선하려고 한다면 설비 내부에 플래넘과 촉매층 접속 구간 연장 등의 방법을 고려할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 기류 안내판이나 다공판 부착 등의 방법은 큰 효과는 없을 것으로 나타났다.
