  • The purpose of this study is to analyze personalized contents and previews of OTT service based on user experience and to suggest the improvements of the preview viewing experience. Current domestic OTT mobile applications were researched to find out how services are offering content. Plus, the 20s-30s were recruited to analyze user experience. An online survey and in-depth interview were conducted by using Stephen P. Anderson's Creating Pleasurable Interface Model. As a result, preview help users to select content but it doesn't suit their taste. Also, the preview is hard to watch however they want. Therefore, it can be inferred that the preview requires the function for improving efficiency, preference, and accessibility. This study is expected to be used as research material on user experience or preview experience of OTT content.

  • Objective: This paper focuses on the new trend of applying NUI(natural user interface) such as gesture interaction into television and investigates on the design improvement needed in application. The intention is to find better design direction of NUI on television context, which will contribute to making new features and behavioral changes occurring in next-generation television more practically usable and meaningful use experience elements. Background: Traditional television is rapidly evolving into next-generation television thanks to the influence of "smartness" from mobile domain. A number of new features and behavioral changes occurred from such evolution are on their way to be characterized as the new experience elements of next-generation television. Method: A series of expert review by television UX professionals based on AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) was conducted to check on the "relative appropriateness" of applying gesture interaction to a number of selected television user experience scenarios. Conclusion: It is critical not to indiscriminately apply new interaction techniques like gesture into television. It may be effective in demonstrating new technology but generally results in poor user experience. It is imperative to conduct consistent validation of its practical appropriateness in real context. Application: The research will be helpful in applying gesture interaction in next-generation television to bring optimal user experience in.

  • This study aims to evaluate the user experience of leading handmade product market service applications, Etsy and idus. A survey about the apps was developed based on Peter Morville's user experience factors. The survey was conducted with eleven users from their 20s to 50s. In addition, problems were discovered through an in-depth interview and the resulting user experience problems were analyzed according to the five levels of Jesse James Garrett's user experience element framework. Our primary results for both apps suggest applying a universally accepted visual interface to improve the user experience, providing brief text to improve readability, avoiding repetitive delivery of similar functions in different information structures, and applying design patterns that are considerate of customers' culture and country. This study provides meaningful data to elevate handmade product platforms into global platforms by analyzing and providing improvements to their shopping experiences.

  • In modern society, with the changing lifestyle, demand for complex cultural spaces is rising and various cultural spaces are emerging. However, user-centered cultural space research has not yet been shown. In order to find out whether various cultural experience functions and user experience types of complex cultural spaces are being delivered properly, this study compared and analyzed the representative cultural spaces of Korea, 'Starfield Library' and 'ARC.N.BOOK'. User experience analysis tools and individual in-depth interviews were used as research methods. As a result, both spaces responded that commercial space and brand library were out of harmony and that the use of services in complex cultural spaces was inconvenient. This is interpreted as the result of the need for improvement measures in the value and usability of experience provided by the current complex cultural space and is expected to help develop the complex cultural space in the future.

  • Lately in many cases, Spaces are designed by stimulating user's sensibility, emotion, psychological software over based on the user behavior and purpose of space. Because space is not only practical using and use purpose but also the place for expressing ourselves by experiences. But space is a physical thing. so we need to arrange a structure of abstract and formless source of design by sophisticated grammaticalization. Especially storytelling of that abstract thing have characteristics of relation, process among users and space. because storytelling is focused on the discourse of stories and relationship record of that discourses. So this is used by expression device for user's emotion things and subjects in numerous cases. And storytelling is the basic, important element for user's experience in a space. By the way, Overlapping is also basic element for being possible to make experiences by concrete thing. that is because, Overlapping is layering phenomenon of some objects. Overlapping is made distance, distance make depth, and this relations take us an experience. Finally storytelling, Overlapping and space of experience are relation of cause and effect. So in this thesis, researcher looks for the relation characteristics between storytelling and overlapping by experience. and makes the abstract source into concrete and sophisticated formular.

  • The text has always been an important recording channel for the development of human civilization. The delete text function is essential. The current method of deleting text is to "press" the delete button to complete the operation. It does not meet the user's need to delete large amounts of text. This article focuses on a new interactive approach to this problem. We consider problems and find solutions from the perspective of zero-order position control and first-order rate control. Through experimental design analysis and comparison, the new keyboard interaction method greatly improves efficiency and user experience. This article hopes to evaluate the usability of the new keyboard through usability studies.

  • Intelligent applications are crucial for increasing the popularity of shared urban electric bicycles (EBs). Building an application platform architectural system that can satisfy independent user operations is critical for increasing the intelligent usage of shared EBs. Consequently, we collected online reviews of shared EB applications, conducted semantic processing and sentiment analysis, and refined the positive and negative review data for each function. The positive and negative review indices of each function were calculated using the formulae for positive and negative review indices of product functions, thereby determining the functions that need to be improved. Each function of the Shared EB application was improved according to its business process. The main contributions of this study are to build a user requirement architecture system for the Shared EB application with five dimensions and 22 functions using the Delphi method to design the user interface (UI) of this application based on user satisfaction evaluation results; to create a high-fidelity dynamic interaction prototype and compare user satisfaction before and after improving the Shared EB application functions. The testing results indicate that the changes in the UI significantly improve the user experience satisfaction of the urban Shared EB application, with the positive experience index increasing by 69.21% and the negative experience index decreasing by 75.85% overall. This information can be directly used by relevant companies to improve the functions of the Shared EB application.

  • Form design for information registration should consider and classify various possible cases and each user case and reflect it in the design. In this paper, I analyzed the visual and emotional factors of information design that elicit positive emotions from the user experience point of view, focusing on the birth certificate of among other public documents issued by the government. In order to derive problems and supplements from the user's overall writing experience point of view, Keller's Motivational Behavior Construction Model was used. The process of writing the birth registration form creates recognition, reasoning, relationship, establishment, achievement, expectation. In order to more actively draw an emotional point of view, it is essential to set of information and to materialize the information experience. It is hoped that this will be a good guideline in the process of presenting a new perspective on information design and improving the experience.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine a user-centered and interactivity-based user-participatory design that could be completed by users by helping them to better understand a diverse experience and be involved in a design process. The aspects of expression that were marked by direct user participation and subsequent interactivity in the areas of design, the arts and fashion were investigated to determine their characteristics. The kind of fashion that is characterized by interactivity is of significance in that it is variable according to the purpose of the users, it's possible to have sustained communication with them through their direct participation, and that the designer is consequently able to build a new, communicative relationship with the users as co-creators. This study found that the characteristics of interactivity through direct user participation are classified into four characteristics; One is playfulness. which offers a new experience and way to create fun and vale. Another is variability, which is changeability of form; the third is the convergence of technology and function. Lastly, the fourth is virtuality. This is to embody images in virtual space.
