스마트폰 사용자의 보안수칙 실천 부족에 관한 연구 : 효능감의 역할을 중심으로 (A Study on Disconfirmity to Security Practices of Smart-phone : Focused on Roles of Efficacy)

  • Purpose This study discusses the contradictory behavior of smart-phone users who consider security is important, but they do not follow the security recommendations. We found through literature research that this contradictory behavior is resulted from a low level of efficacy. Design/methodology/approach Research hypotheses were set based on Extended Parallel Process Model, Control Theory, and Self Efficacy Mechanism. The data were collected from undergraduate students. Total of 178 data were used for the analysis. Findings Results of the analysis, first, showed that the relationship between threat and security attitude varies with the level of coping efficacy. Second, showed that the relationship between threat and fear does not vary with the level of coping efficacy. Both the groups with high coping efficacy and low coping efficacy had a statistically significant effect on the relationship between threat and fear.

  • Image recognition is one of the most important research directions of pattern recognition. Image based road automatic identification technology is widely used in current society, the intelligence has become the trend of the times. This paper studied the image segmentation algorithm theory and its application in road signs recognition system. With the help of image processing technique, respectively, on road signs automatic recognition algorithm of three main parts, namely, image segmentation, character segmentation, image and character recognition, made a systematic study and algorithm. The experimental results show that: the image segmentation algorithm to establish road signs recognition model, can make effective use of smart phone system and application.

A Study on the Reliability and Validity of Measuring the Range of Motion of the Elbow Joint Using a Smartphone Application

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the intra-tester and inter-tester reliability and validity of elbow flexion range of motion using a smart phone used by the general public. Thirty-one general people participated in this study. The range of motion in active elbow flexion was measured with a goniometer and smart phone over two times by two observers. The intra-taster and inter-tester reliability were evaluated using the intraclass correlation coefficient(ICC). The validity was measured by Pearson's correlation coefficient. The intra-observer reliability was good in all measured items ICC>0.900. The inter-observer reliability was high with ICC>0.806. All correlation coefficients of android app and goniometer were greater than 0.868 and showed a significant positive correlation (p<0.01). The range of motion measurement with a smart phone showed acceptable reliability. Therefore, using a smartphone to measure the range of motion of the elbow joint could provide convenience and economic benefits.

  • Purpose: This study is aimed to introduce the OPA-Kano method, an integrated version of OPA(Originality Practicality Analysis) and Kano's customer satisfaction method, and to examine its applicability. Methods: 30 ideas for smart phone accessories are generated using brainstorming and SIT(Systematic Inventive Thinking) and they are analyzed through the OPA-Kano method. For analysis, correlation method between OPA and Kano's results is applied for the ideas. Results: The results show that there is significant correlation between the OPA and Kano's approach, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through the case of smart phone accessories. Conclusion: From the result of this study, we conclude that the proposed OPA-Kano method can be used for the evaluation of ideas and customer satisfaction.

  • In this paper, we studied smart phone RF wireless charging with 5.8-GHz microwave wireless power receiver. The dc output of the receiver connected to super capacitor and DC-DC converter for charging a smart phone. This configuration stably supplies 5V and current for charging it. Studies show that the more receivers are used at close range, the higher the received voltage values and the larger the capacity of the super capacitor, the longer the charging time. The present 5.8-GHz 1W wireless power transmission system is not enough for charging a smartphone mainly due to the lack of current of the receiver.

  • 본 논문에서는 수목관리의 효율성을 극대화하고자 객체지향 설계 모델링을 이용한 GIS 및 스마트폰 기반의 유비쿼터스 수목관리 시스템을 제안한다. 이를 위해 제안하는 시스템은 클라이언트/서버(C/S) 형태로 구현한다. 클라이언트에 해당하는 현장용 수목관리 시스템은 모바일(PDA, 스마트폰)기반으로 구성하고 서버에 해당하는 PC기반 수목관리 시스템은 GIS를 활용한다. 또한 C/S 간의 수목 데이터 통신을 위해 기존 연구에서 활용된 CDMA방식이 아닌 Web Service방식을 활용한다. 그리고 기존 연구의 문제점인 과도한 시스템 유지보수 비용과 다양한 사용자의 접근성 부족, 지리정보 시스템과의 연계 부족 현상을 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템 개발 방식과 GIS 시스템, 스마트기기의 접목을 통해 해결한다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 시스템 단위테스트와 정성적인 평가를 통하여 기존 수목관리 시스템의 해결방안을 평가함으로써 제안하는 시스템의 효율성 및 확장성에서 우수함을 보인다.

  • 사물인터넷을 이용한 디지털 도어락, DDiT를 소개한다. DDiT에서는 기존의 디지털 도어락을 제어하기 위하여 통합 마이크로 컨트롤러 플랫폼인 아두이노를 이용하였으며 모바일 플랫폼으로는 안드로이드 스마트폰을 사용하였다. DDiT의 장점 중 하나는 기존의 디지털 도어락에 부착해서 사용할 수 있는 형태로 스마트폰 애플리케이션을 열쇠로 활용하는 방식이라는 점이다. 더구나, 스마트폰 애플리케이션을 사용하므로 이를 통해서 여러 가지 부가적인 기능도 수행할 수 있다. 따라서, 사물인터넷을 이용한 디지털 도어락은 일반 가정집 도어락은 물론 호텔, 연구실, 및 회사와 같은 높은 보안을 필요로 하는 장소에까지 다양한 분야에서 효과적이고 편리하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

원형 스마트폰 잠금 패턴 방식 제안 (A proposal of Circular Lock Pattern Method on Smart phone)

  • 스마트폰에는 현재 다양한 보안 방식이 사용되고 있다. 그중에서도 핀 번호와 패턴 잠금 방식은 초기 스마트폰부터 사용되었을 정도로 오래 사용되었다. 하지만 패턴 잠금 방식은 오래 사용된 만큼 보안이 취약하다. 핀 번호 방식의 보안 강도가 약간 높은 정도라면 패턴 잠금 방식은 중간 정도에 그친다. 그럼에도 많은 스마트폰 사용자들은 패턴 잠금 방식을 이용하고 있는데 아직 생체보안을 지원하지 않는 기종을 사용하는 사용자가 있기 때문이다. 생체보안을 지원하지 않는 기종에서 제일 편리한 보안 방식은 패턴 잠금 방식이다. 그러나 기존의 패턴 잠금 방식은 Shoulder surfing attack과 Smudge attack에 취약하다. 따라서 패턴 잠금 방식의 편리성을 유지하면서 동시에 기존 방식의 취약점을 해결하는 방식을 제안하고자 한다. 제안하는 방식은 화면에 배치되는 각각의 점을 원형으로 배치한 뒤 무작위로 숫자를 부여하는 잠금 방식이다. 본 방식을 도입하게 된다면 기존의 취약점을 상당히 해결할 수 있다. 즉, 기존의 패턴 잠금 방식에 비해 보안성을 높일 수 있다.

스마트폰 기반 증강현실 특성이 프레즌스, 플로우 및 관계지속행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Augmented Reality Traits on Presence, Flow, and Relational Continuance Behavior with Smart-Phones)

  • Purpose - Augmented reality (AR) content used in mobile media today can accommodate a wide variety of contextual information. This indicates that making people experience a sense of presence and flow is a very significant factor in augmented reality content. Flow represents a rich immersion potential as representing the progress of emotion and the means to facilitate the operation of the smart phone. Therefore, users will have friendly relational continuance behavior with products and brands that supply this experience. Based on that, the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among smart phone AR application traits, presence, flow experience, and relational continuance behavior. First, AR application traits are defined as three categories sensory immersion, navigation, and manipulation, based on preceding studies. This study then examines the influence of AR application traits on the presence and flow experience and looks into the relation among presence, flow experience, and relational continuance behavior. This analysis suggests more detailed and concentrated strategic implications. Research design, data, and methodology - A research model is designed to examine the relation among AR application traits, presence, flow experience, and relational continued behavior. For data collection, questionnaire surveys were composed of multi-items for each component and the direct interview method was used for the interviews. To collect the data, after running the smart phone AR applications, the consumer behaviors of the respondents were generally determined. The questionnaire surveys were conducted for one month, October 2014. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed with 278 questionnaires used for analysis, excluding the unanswered and insincere questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SPSS ver. 20.0 and LISREL ver. 8.51. Results - The following results are found: First, AR application traits have a significantly positive effect on presence with sensory immersion, navigation, and manipulation all having a significantly positive effect. Second, sensory immersion and manipulation among the AR application traits have a significantly positive effect on flow. However, navigation did not have a significantly positive effect on flow. Third, presence has a significantly positive effect on flow and has a significantly positive effect on relational continuance behavior. Moreover, flow also has a significantly positive effect on relational continuance behavior. This behavior tends to be formed since brands want to encourage relational continuance behavior and positive emotions with the brands being used. Relational continuance behavior accompanies repeat purchasing, positive word-of-mouth and recommendation activities, and forms of trust with the brand. Conclusions - The research results showed that smart phone AR traits had significantly positive effect on presence, flow, and relational continuance behavior. Based on this, smart phone AR application providers should establish an aggressive marketing strategy to accommodate more realistic problems in order to positively influence user behavior. Additionally, the marketers should make efforts to provide fun or convenience in the AR application operation process of the user.

An Intelligent Name-Card Exchange Technique in Context-aware Smart Phone

  • Mobile devices are increasingly used, and changed persons' social habits of creating new relationship. While existed systems can not satisfied the principles of user-centered, convenient and ensure privacy. This paper describes an intelligent name-card exchange technique in context-aware smart phone, which has no verbose user operation, ability of intelligent match based on context-aware information, and privacy protection.
