  • After the Pokemon game became popular, the popularity of the Augmented Reality game is higher than ever. Therefore, it is an important choice to use an engine to create an augmented reality game. It explains how to create an augmented reality game using Unity engine, which is one of the most used game engines in game development. We describe a method for implementing augmented reality optimized for games by selecting a MARKERLESS method that does not require a marker among the augmented reality techniques. In this paper, we propose a technique to create MARKERLESS augmented reality game using KUDAN AR engine which supports Unity engine and unity through 'Our Hero' project.

  • If game images use colors improper for certain ages, the characteristics of games disappear, and the efficiency of image expression drops. thus a study in color is very important. Nevertheless, there is a lack of research on this subject. In this study, we investigated the difference of color of game images according to users. User group is divided into all users and users over 18 years old. Among the rank of games,10 each from games for all ages and games for non-teen-rated are selected, and the game-playing images are taken as snapshots to have 100 each images each, A total of 2000 images were extracted and the mean values of RGB and HSB of each game were obtained and independent sample t test was performed. The results showed that the RGB color values between the two users were significantly significant. In the future, it is expected that it will be helpful in color selection when developing psychotherapy games and emotional games using color psychology. Furthermore, we will use color image scales to express colors as adjectives, analyze colors in a variety of ways, and investigate the difference in color of game images in each country.

  • In MMORPGs(Massively Multi-player Online Role-Playing Games) a large number of players actively interact with one another in a virtual world. Therefore MMORGs must be able to quickly process real-time access requests and process requests from numerous gaming users. A key challenge is that the workload of the game server increases as the number of gaming users increases. To address this workload problem, many developers apply with distributed server architectures which use dynamic map partitioning and load balancing according to the server function. Therefore most MMORPG servers partition a virtual world into zones and each zone runs on multiple game servers. These methods cause of players frequently move between game servers, which imposes high overhead for data updates. In this paper, we propose a new architecture that apply with an arithmetic server dedicated to data operation. This architecture enables the existing game servers to process more access and job requests by reducing the load. Through mathematical modeling and experimental results, we show that our scheme yields higher efficiency than the existing ones.

  • For finding the optimal strategy in Blackout game which was introduced in the homepage of popular mono "Beautiful mind", we develope a mathematical proof and an algorithm with a software. We only use the concept of basis and knowledge of basic linear algebra. This process can be extended to the fullsize Go table problem and shows why we have to study mathematics at the college level.

  • The purpose of this thesis is to analyze and compare 'Game Activities' of elementary mathematics textbooks developed in the national curriculum revised in 2015, and to find suggestions to improve 'Game Activities' of the textbooks based on the results. The main results of this study are as follows. First, as for materials, various types of materials were used in 'Game Activities'. Also, more various materials were included in 2nd grade textbooks and 1st, 2nd grade teacher's guidebooks than 1st grade textbooks. Second, this study analyzed the patterns of organization. The result showed that group and pair activities accounted for the highest rate among other patterns of organizations. Textbooks should include more pattern types of organizations that teachers could use them properly according to numbers of students in classes. For the 'Game Activities', students need to understand basic concepts of the chapter first. Students with lower levels would have difficulty participating in the 'Game Activities'. Thus, there is a need to include activities for students with lower levels in teachers' guidebooks, reflecting a variety of students levels.

  • The effect of improving awareness by educational programs for improving the quality of daily life of the disabled and safety depends on the type of disability and individual differences, as well as the difficulty in evaluating education achievement and satisfaction. However, more effective programs can be developed and provided if the factors affecting the effectiveness of education can be identified. Training as one of the factors affecting effectiveness involves motivation. This is thought to be an important factor for any object regardless of the type of disability. It is recognized that "By providing programs for the disabled to immerse themselves, they can be motivated to participate in education and expect greater effects on educational effects." Gamification is convincing enough for general learning. Furthermore, a feature of gamification is the use of the game's structure to achieve its goal, which acts on participants' motivation. Some use game packages such as analog games and digital games, but some include gamification of activities themselves. The use of gamification in education has different characteristics from the development of businesses. Therefore, in this paper, we reviewed the current status and challenges with the aim of promoting the use of gamification in life safety education for the disabled.

  • In wireless ad hoc networks the nodes focus on achieving the maximum SINR for efficient data transmission. In order to achieve maximum SINR the nodes culminate in exhausting the battery power for successful transmissions. This in turn affects the successful transmission of the other nodes as the maximum transmission power opted by each node serves as a source of interference for the other nodes in the network. This paper models the choice of power for each node as a non cooperative game where the throughput of the network with respect to the consumption of power is formulated as a utility function. We propose an adaptive pricing scheme that encourages the nodes to use minimum transmission power to achieve target SINR at the Nash equilibrium and improve their net utility in multiuser scenario.

  • Currently, as Korea enters into a fast aging society, the problem of dementia population is increasing. In this paper, we intend to contribute to the improvement of welfare for the elderly by developing virtual reality technology and related interface technology to effectively perform hand movements known as effective methods for preventing and treating dementia. As the content of the research and development of this paper, it is designed to be easy for the elderly to use and stimulate brain function by applying VR technology using sensors, and to activate mental and physical activities for the elderly who are marginalized in terms of cultural welfare. We intend to develop by classifying the types of games and contents that can induce them. As a result of this thesis, we developed contents using virtual reality to improve cognitive abilities for elderly people with poor cognitive ability to activate the brains of users' cognition, memory, and attention to prevent and treat dementia I want to contribute.

  • Modern technology offers many ways to enhance teaching and learning that in turn promote the development of tools for educational activities both inside and outside the classroom. Many educational programs using the augmented reality (AR) technology are being widely used to provide supplementary learning materials for students. This paper describes the potential and challenges of using GeoGebra AR in mathematical studies, whereby students can view 3D geometric objects for a better understanding of their structure, and verifies the feasibility of its use based on experimental results. The GeoGebra software can be used to draw geometric objects, and 3D geometric objects can be viewed using AR software or AR applications on mobile phones or computer tablets. These could provide some of the required materials for mathematical education at high schools or universities. The use of the GeoGebra application for education in Laos will be particularly discussed in this paper.
