모호인식도를 이용한 생산전략의 수립 (The Use of Fuzzy Cognitive Maps for Manufacturing Strategy Formulation)

  • This paper examines the use of fuzzy cognitive maps to help understand manufacturing strategy processes. This technique is illustrated through a case study of a manufacturing strategy formulation. Advantages of fuzzy cognitive maps are highlighted by comparing the level of understanding before and after the technique was used.   • 이 연구는 수치지형도와 행정통계를 활용하여 포항시를 사례지역으로 도시계획을 위한 공간분석을 지원하는 구역단위 토지정보시스템을 구축하고자 하는 것이다. 구역단위 토지정보 시스템은 행정동 단위의 공간단위를 기본공간단위로 하고, 이를 활용하여 이 보다 큰 규모의 권역단위, 이보다 작은 규모의 소지역 단위로 구분하여 구축하였다. 시스템 구축과정을 통해서 알게된 사실은, 수치지형도를 활용하여 시스템의 기본도를 구축하는 과정과 행정통계와 연계하여 속성정보를 입력하는 과정에서 기술적인 몇 가지 문제점이 발생한다는 것이었고, 이를 해결하기 위한 처리과정이 제시되었다. 정보시스템의 전체적인 구조는 분석지역 선택이라는 공간단위의 선택이 최상위 메뉴로서 제공되고, 그 하위 메뉴로서 11개의 분석주제의 선택되도록 하였으며, 분석주제는 인구, 토지, 교통, 산업경제 등으로 구분되어 분석지역별로 나뉘어 제공되었다. 그리고 그 하위에 분석항목과 세부항목이 차례로 제공되도록 구축되었다.

  • 가변성 관리는 시스템이 어느 정도까지의 복잡성을 처리할 수 있는가를 정의하는 가장 중요한 기준이다. 대부분의 요구 공학 연구에서는 시스템이 동작하는 환경에 대해 많은 부분을 간과하거나 추측하는 수준에 그치고 있다. 그러나 실시간 시스템에서는 본질적으로 변화하는 컨텍스트를 관찰하고 조정하는 것은 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 i* 목표 모델, 문제 프레임, 유즈 케이스 맵, 라이브 시퀀스 차트를 활용하여 다양한 컨텍스트에 적합한 요구사항을 식별할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제안하며 스마트 그리드의 실시간 가격 정책 변화 시스템을 사례 연구로 활용하여 제안하는 프레임워크를 단계별로 자세하게 설명한다. 사례 연구를 통해 제안방법에서 유즈 케이스 맵과 라이브 시퀀스 차트를 활용한 시나리오 정교화 과정이 초기 컨텍스트 분석 및 검증에 도움을 주는 것을 보여주며 장애물 및 충돌 분석을 위한 요구사항을 정교화함으로써 요구공학 엔지니어들이 시스템의 건장성을 증가시키는 것을 도와줄 수 있음을 증명한다. 이처럼 제안하는 프레임워크는 이론적인 방법과 실증적인 사례를 통해 평가된다.

A Parallel Approach to Navigation in Cities using Reconfigurable Mesh

  • The subject of navigation has drawn a large interest in the last few years. Navigation problem (or path planning) finds the path between two points, source location and destination location. In smart cities, solving navigation problem is essential to all residents and visitors of such cities to guide them to move easily between locations. Also, the navigation problem is very important in case of moving robots that move around the city or part of it to get some certain tasks done such as delivering packages, delivering food, etc. In either case, solution to the navigation is essential. The core to navigation systems is the navigation algorithms they employ. Navigation algorithms can be classified into navigation algorithms that depend on maps and navigation without the use of maps. The map contains all available routes and its directions. In this proposal, we consider the first class. In this paper, we are interested in getting path planning solutions very fast. In doing so, we employ a parallel platform, Reconfigurable mesh (R-Mesh), to compute the path from source location to destination location. R-Mesh is a parallel platform that has very fast solutions to many problems and can be deployed in moving vehicles and moving robots. This paper presents two algorithms for path planning. The first assumes maps with linear streets. The second considers maps with branching streets. In both algorithms, the quality of the path is evaluated in terms of the length of the path and the number of turns in the path.

고속도로 개발 전후의 농촌지역 토지이용 및 인구변화 특성 - 경기도 남부 중부고속도로와 주변지역을 중심으로 - (Characteristics of land-use and population change in rural area by developing new expressway - A case study on Chungbu expressway and its surrounding areas in the south of Kyuinggi province -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of land-use and population change in rural area by new expressway. Chungbu expressway constructed in 1987, going through the south area of Kyunggi province from Seoul, was selected as a case expressway, and also 2 cities and 18 subdivisions of county in its surrounding area, as a case study area. To analyze the change characteristics before and after the construction, land-use maps of 1986 and 1996 were collected, including the census data for the years in cities and counties yearbooks. Remote sensing technology was applied to classify the land-use maps with six types of land use. Geographic information system was also used for spatial analysis, such as the land-use and accessibility changes. A 5 km buffer zone from interchange of the expressway showed about two times increase of urbanized built-up area than a 5 km buffer zone from the expressway. Accessibility from Seoul and cities was improved in most areas, which is accessing to Seoul through existing Youngdong expressway. Ten rural areas showed increased population with accessibility of average 52 minutes to Seoul and 19 minutes to cities, while eight areas showed decreased population with average 73 minutes to Seoul and 35 minutes to cities. This shows that the threshold value, which is time distance to Seoul and cities for population increase or decrease, one and half hours, respectively. Urbanized area was increased in most areas, even in population decrease areas, so this indicates that there are thinning rural areas, increasing urbanized area while decreasing population.

  • Emotion을 이용한 컴퓨터 인공 지능, 그래픽, 로봇, 상호 작용 등 다양한 분야에 나타나고 있다. 이에 각 분야에 적용되어진 이론적 배경과, 적용의 특징, 기술 등을 본 글에서 다루고자 한다. 먼저 이론적 접근방식에 있어서는 심리학적 접근과, 사람의 감정 연구, Behavior-Bas설 접근, 생물 행동적 접근, 등이 있으며 이를 구현하기 위한 기술로는 학습 알고리즘, Neural Network 의 Self-Organizing Maps, Fuzzy Cognition Maps등이 있다. 적용 분야로는 Software Agent, Agent Robot과 Entrainment Robot 등이 있다. 본 글에서는 이들의 적용 사례들을 살펴보고 Emotion Architecture에 대해서 분석하고자 한다.

독도 관련 고지도의 기술요소 개선 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Description Elements of the Old Maps of Dokdo)

  • 독도 관련 고지도는 지도로서의 물리적 특수성과 고문헌으로서의 역사적 의미, 증거적 가치를 가지는 기록물로서 이를 보존하고 활용하기 위해서는 일반 기록물보다는 세밀하고 의미 있는 기술이 필요하나 높은 관심에 비해 체계적이고 통합적인 기술이 이루어지지 않고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 증거적 가치가 있는 독도 관련 고지도의 특성이 반영된 기술요소를 제안하였다. 우선 문헌 연구를 통해 독도 관련 고지도를 정의하고 그 특성을 알아보았으며, 국제기록기술표준(General International Standard Archival Description, ISAD(G))의 7개의 영역을 기준으로 12개의 기관사례조사를 비교분석하였다. 그리고 ISAD(G)에 적용 가능한 공통영역과 ISAD(G)에 없는 특수영역으로 나누어 기술요소안을 도출한 후, 고지도 전문가 의견을 반영하여 최종 기술요소로 식별영역, 배경영역, 내용과 구조영역, 접근과 이용조건영역, 연관자료영역, 주기영역, 기술통제영역, 기타영역 등 총 8개의 영역과 50개의 기술요소를 제안하였다.

웹 GIS 기반 철도 지반정보 관리프로그램의 개발 (Development of the Railroad Geotechnical Information Management System Using Web GIS)

  • Railroad geotechnical information management system was developed by using Web GIS and DB in this study. The standardization of railroad geotechnical information is progressed by classifying three groups as like basic informations, vibration informations along railway lines and design drawings. The basic informations consisted of basic and dynamic properties of soils, geophysical exploration and seismic survey/exploration. And the specification for 'human exposure to whole-body vibration' was adopted to construct the vibration informations along railway lines. The informations as like drawings and photographs were saved by changing to graphic files in the standardization of design drawings. In the case of standardization of geographical information, the topographical maps(NGIS, 1:5000) were primarily used as digital maps. Another digital maps(KRRI, 1:5000) and their geographical DB based on NGI code system were added on this maps. The standardized informations were used to construct their database. And railroad information management system was developed using Entity-Relation(ER) model which had a good feasibility for expansion and transition to other system in designing stage of database. This system consisted of layer selection, search and analysis of geotechnical informations and Zeus DB was adopted for GIS operating and user interface. This system could be a good tool for saving, searching and analyzing the geotechnical and geophysical informations. These DB systems would offered the basic informations to plans, design and construction of railroad lines etc. in practical use.

Spatial interpolation of geotechnical data: A case study for Multan City, Pakistan

  • Geotechnical data contributes substantially to the cost of engineering projects due to increasing cost of site investigations. Existing information in the form of soil maps can save considerable time and expenses while deciding the scope and extent of site exploration for a proposed project site. This paper presents spatial interpolation of data obtained from soil investigation reports of different construction sites and development of soil maps for geotechnical characterization of Multan area using ArcGIS. The subsurface conditions of the study area have been examined in terms of soil type and standard penetration resistance. The Inverse Distance Weighting method in the Spatial Analyst extension of ArcMap10 has been employed to develop zonation maps at different depths of the study area. Each depth level has been interpolated as a surface to create zonation maps for soil type and standard penetration resistance. Correlations have been presented based on linear regression of standard penetration resistance values with depth for quick estimation of strength and stiffness of soil during preliminary planning and design stage of a proposed project in the study area. Such information helps engineers to use data derived from nearby sites or sites of similar subsoils subjected to similar geological process to build a preliminary ground model for a new site. Moreover, reliable information on geometry and engineering properties of underground layers would make projects safer and economical.

Use of Fuzzy Object Concept in GIS-based Spatial Prediction Model for Landslide Hazard Mapping

  • In this paper, we propose spatial prediction model for landslide hazard mapping that can account for the fuzziness of boundaries in thematic maps showing the different environmental impacts, depending on the scales and the resolutions of them. The fuzziness or uncertainty of boundary is represented in favourability function based on fuzzy object concept and the effects of them are quantitatively evaluated with the help of cross validation procedures. To illustrate the proposed schemes, a case study from Boeun, Korea was carried out. As a result, the proposed schemes are helpful to account for intrinsic uncertainties in categorical maps and can be effectively adopted in spatial prediction models for other purposes.
