최근, 스마트폰 기능 중 카메라는 가장 많이 사용하는 기능 중 하나이며 스마트폰구매에 가장 영향을 주는 기능 중에 하나가 되었다. 그러나 스마트폰 기본 카메라 어플리케이션은 사용자환경이 복잡해 처음 사용하는 유저에게 많은 어려움을 야기시키고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내에서 가장 많이 사용하는 갤럭시S시리즈 중 최신폰인 갤럭시S7을 선정하여 카메라 어플리케이션의 Usability Test를 촬영과 편집 공유 기능으로 한정하여 테스트를 진행해 어플리케이션의 사용자 환경의 문제점 및 개선점을 도출하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 아이콘 그래픽의 개선과 텍스트형태의 레이블을 동시에 제공해 아이콘의 인식률과 주목성을 높여야 한다. 둘째, 다양한 모드와 기능으로의 접근을 원활히 하기 위해 구조의 단순화와 직감적인 인터페이스의 제공이 필요하다. 셋째, 많이 사용하지 않는 특수기능들에서 실패율이 높고 불편함을 야기시키기 때문에 카메라 어플리케이션의 개발에 있어 개인형 맞춤 메뉴 제공 또는 기능의 단순화하가 필요하다는 것이다.

Life-cycle assessment (LCA) is often employed to quantify the environmental impact of a product in a comprehensive manner. The aspects of performance and usability as well as that of eco-friendliness should be considered in an integrated manner for the market competitiveness of an eco-friendly product. The present study developed a product improvement plan for an eco-friendly electric heater by benchmarking two small-size electric heaters (companies 'H' and 'T') in terms of performance, usability, and eco-friendliness. The performance measurements such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, noise, and power consumption were collected while the two heaters were operated in a laboratory setting. Then, the usability evaluations such as aesthetics, operation satisfaction, performance satisfaction, and overall satisfaction were surveyed for the two heaters using a 5-point scale (1 for very unsatisfied and 5 for very satisfied). Lastly, the LCA analysis was conducted by following the six-step process of eco-friendly product design provided by KEITI. The analysis results of the two products being integrated with the aspects of product, service, and user, four design improvement directions such as eco-efficient, smart, modularized, and user-support were recommended for an eco-friendly electric heater. These proposed concepts would be useful to develop an eco-friendly electric heater design with a high level of market competitiveness.

본 연구는 분류 학습의 기본 도구가 된 웹듀이의 발전 및 기능 변화를 분석하고, 이를 학습자를 위한 사용성의 측면에서 분석하여, 웹듀이의 사용성 증진을 위한 구체적인 방안을 제안하는 목적을 가지고 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 먼저 UI와 사용성의 개념과 원칙을 정리하고, 웹듀이의 구성 및 주요 기능을 분석하였다. 또한, 웹듀이의 매체 변화 및 시기별 기능 변화를 고찰하였다. 이후 웹듀이를 학습 과정에서 사용한 학습자들을 대상으로 웹듀이 사용성에 관한 의견 조사를 수행하고, 여기서 도출된 시사점과 개선 방향성을 바탕으로 웹듀이의 사용성 증진 방안을 제안하였다. 사용성 증진 방안은 UI의 측면과 합성 기능의 측면으로 나누어 제안되었다. UI의 측면에서는 디스플레이 방식, 시각화 장치, 인쇄본의 장점 도입, 한국어 버전 개발 등의 제안이 이루어졌다. 번호 자동 합성 기능의 측면에서는 기본 번호 선택, 합성 경로 안내 및 오류 메시지 제공, 참고 주기 및 경로 신설, 화면과 버튼 설계, 합성 내역 안내 등의 측면에서 사용성 증진 제안이 이루어졌다.

건설현장배치는 프로젝트 공기와 비용에 큰 영향을 미치므로 이에 대한 최적화 및 자동화 연구가 수행되고 있다. 하지만, 이러한 연구의 목표변수인 건설현장배치의 수준을 평가하는 근거는 매우 제한적이다. 본 연구는 사용성평가 방법을 활용하여 건설현장배치의 수준을 평가하고 향후 건설현장배치 자동화 및 최적화 연구에서 초점을 맞추어야 하는 부분을 확인하고자 하였다. 설문결과 국내건설현장배치 사용성은 효과와 작업환경 항목에서 낮은 점수를 받았으며, 작업자가 관리자에 비해 낮게 평가하였다. 또한 작업환경 항목에서 낮은 점수를 받았으며 현장접근성과 시설 편의성이 낮음을 확인하였다. 이 연구는 건설현장배치 현황을 파악하고 개선방향을 제시함으로써 건설현장배치 자동화 및 최적화 연구의 진행을 위한 지식에 기여한다.

본 연구는 도서관의 인공지능 챗봇 서비스의 특징을 분석하고 도서관에 적용된 챗봇 서비스의 플랫폼에 따른 사용성을 비교한 연구로 도서관의 인공지능 챗봇 서비스의 사용성 증진을 위한 방안을 제안하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 인공지능 챗봇 서비스의 사용성 평가에 대한 선행연구를 통해 사용성 비교 요소를 추출하였고, 사례조사를 바탕으로 도서관에 적용된 인공지능 챗봇 서비스를 플랫폼에 따라 자체 웹사이트 기반과 SNS 기반의 챗봇 서비스로 구분하였다. 실험과 질문지 조사 및 면담을 실시하여 도서관에 적용된 웹사이트 기반과 SNS 기반의 챗봇 서비스의 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 사용성 평가 결과를 토대로 도서관의 인공지능 챗봇 서비스에 대한 시사점과 개선방안을 도출하였다.

This study is a preliminary study to develop an evaluation framework necessary for evaluating the DataON platform. The first objective is to examine expert perceptions of the level of DataON platform construction. The second objective is to evaluate the importance, stability, and usability of DataON platform features over OpenAIRE features. The third objective is to derive weights from the evaluation perspective for future DataON platform evaluation. The fourth objective is to examine the preferences of experts in each evaluation perspective and to derive unbiased evaluation criteria. This study used a survey method for potential stakeholders of the DataON platform. The survey included 12 professionals with at least 10 years of experience in the field. The 57 overall functions and services were measured at 3.1 out of 5 for importance. Stability was -0.07 point and usability was measured as -0.05 point. The 42 features and services scored 3.04 points in importance. Stability was -0.58 points and usability was -0.51 points. In particular, the stability and usability scores of the 42 functions and services provided as of 2018 were higher than the total functions were, which is attributed to the stable and user-friendly improvement after development. In terms of the weight of the evaluation point, the collection quality has the highest weight of 27%. Interface usability is then weighted 22%. Subsequently, service quality is weighted 19%, and finally system performance efficiency and user feedback solicitation are equally weighted 16%.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to generate empirical data regarding the usability of churches' convenience facilities for the elderly, while categorizing church architecture as intermediate, inner, sanitation, and other facilities. The generated data can be used for renovating or upgrading the existing churches' convenience facilities to match up the act on convenience promotion. Methods: Field studies were conducted for collecting the empirical data from 42 churches. Results: Specifically, intermediate and sanitation facilities were more urgent sections, needing serious improvement works for the elderly. In the inner facilities, 14 categories were counted as not-met(NM) or not-installed(NI) among total 26 categories. In the other facilities, 11 categories were found as not-met(NM) or not-installed(NI) among total 15 categories. Implications: The research results can be used as a checklist for the improvement of convenience facilities for the elderly in existing churches.

스마트폰 보급이 증가하고 무선 인터넷의 사용이 증가함에 따라 온라인 쇼핑 역시 모바일 쇼핑으로 그 환경이 변화하고 있다. 그러나 유선 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 이용에 비해 국내 모바일 쇼핑 서비스는 기대에 미치지 못하고 있다. 이는 모바일 기기의 제한된 화면 크기 및 입력의 불편함, 느린 인터넷 속도 등과 같은 제약사항이 주요 원인이다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 국내 주요 모바일 쇼핑몰에 대하여 사용성 평가를 실시하였다. 모바일 웹 사이트 제작을 위해 고려되어야 할 사항과 모바일 사용자 배려, 쇼핑몰의 주요 기능을 고려하여 평가 항목을 정의 하였다. 휴리스틱 평가 방법을 이용하여 국내 주요 모바일 쇼핑몰 3곳에 대한 사용성 평가를 수행하였다. 사용성 평가 결과를 분석하여, 모바일 쇼핑몰의 문제점과 개선방향을 제시하였다.
