Two unrecorded taxa of Polygonatum (Liliaceae), P. odoratum var, odoratum from IsI. Pungdo, Ansan-shi, Kyonggi Province and P. acuminatifolium from Mishiryong, Kangwon Province were reported. The morphological difference between P. odoratum var. odoratum and P. odoratum var. pluriflorum includes distribution patterns of papillae on the filament surface.

Here, 15 taxa of genus Fissidens Hedw. are reported as new to the moss flora of Korea: F. bryoides var. esquirolii, F. closteri subsp. kiusiuensis, F. crispus, F. curvatus, F. enervis, F. flabellulus, F. ganguleei, F. gracilifolius, F. gymnandrus, F. incurvus, F. longisetus, F. pusillus, F. takayukii, F. viridulus, and F. wichurae. The list of Fissidens in Korea, consisting of 26 taxa previously, is updated to 38 taxa by adding 15 taxa and excluding three taxa. Descriptions, taxonomic notes with diagnoses, in situ and microscopic photographs of the unrecorded species, and taxonomic keys of four sections belonging to the subgen. Fissidens are provided.

Given that the Korean genus Elymus L. (Poaceae) is often confused with Agropyron Gaertn., the categories and characteristics of Elymus s.l. have been reviewed morphologically. Two unrecorded taxa of Elymus, E. humidus (Ohwi & Sakam.) T. Osada and E. shandongensis B. Salomon, not previously recorded in Korean flora to date, we report here as an unrecorded species based on samples collected from Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Jeollanam-do, and Jeollabuk-do. E. humidus is distinguished from other taxa in terms of its habitat around riversides, erect inflorescences, spikelets appressed to rachides of inflorescence, and new individuals asexually propagated at the lower nodes of aerial stems. E. shandongensis is similar to E. tsukushiensis var. transiens (Hack.) H. Osada but is distinguished by the flowering time, slightly curved inflorescences, number of veins of the glumes, and spikelets appressed to the rachides. Descriptions of the two unrecorded Korean taxa, photographs, and keys to neighboring taxa are presented.

Six taxa of unrecorded Korean species of genus Cosmarium were collected from several freshwater sites of South Korea in 2003. They were 3 species and 3 varieties of Genus Cosmarium. Genus Cosmarium of Korea was reported to totally 273 taxa 125 species, 113 varieties and 35 forms including this study.

In this study, we described and illustrated an unrecorded species from the Korean flora, Sciaphila nana Blume, which is included in the order Pandanales and the family Triuridaceae. This taxon was found at Mul Oreum in Namwon-eup, Seogwipo-si, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province for the first time in Korea. The order Pandanales can be distinguished from the order Liliales by the anomocytic or tetracytic stomata and syncarpous or apocarpous gynoecia of the Pandanales. The family Triuridaceae and the other four taxa in the Pandanales, Cyclanthaceae, Pandanaceae, Stemonaceae, and Velloziaceae, are easily distinguished because the Triuridaceae are microtrophic herbs with scaly leaves. S. nana has a subulate style with a glabrous apex, ovate to narrow ovate leaves and bracts, male perianth segments with a knob-like structure at the apex, and a dimorphic perianth. Therefore, it is easily distinguished from S. tenella, S. multiflora, S. secundiflora, S. thaidanica, S. ramosa, and S. arfakiana.

Polygonatum taxa of Korea were classified as two sections, three series and 14 species and 2 varieties and reviewed taxonomically. Among the examined taxa, endemics in Korea were recorded as two species; P. grandicaule Y. S. Kim, B. U. Oh & C. G. Jang and P. infundiflorum Y. S. Kim, B. U. Oh & C. G. Jang. The habitat of Korean unrecorded species, P. acuminatifolium Kom. and P. odoratum var. odoratum were confirmed in this study. Keys to the sections, series and species including description of each taxon were provided here.

Six taxa of unrecorded Korean species of charophytes are described. Freshwater and aerial charophytes were collected from the bark of trees, reservoirs, small ponds and swamps from April 2017 to September 2017. The newly recorded species of Korea were Cosmarium quadrifarium f. octastichum, Euastrum turneri, Spondylosium nitens var. triangulare, Staurastrum kouwetsii, Staurodesmus dickiei var. latus, and Klebsormidium subtile. K. subtile was transferred from Stichococcus subtilis.

A total of 34 taxa, 33 species and one variety, are newly added to the moss checklist of Korea. They were collected on Jejudo Island, Samcheok limestone areas in Gangwon Province, and Socheongdo Island from 2015 to 2018 and organized into 19 families and 26 genera. Additionally, eight genera are new to Korea. This study verifies the distributions of nine species whose distributions and specimens have remained unknown thus far. Finally, two unrecorded taxa, consisting of one species and one variety, are identified by reexamining Korean specimens deposited at the National Museum and Science in Japan (TNS). The specimens were collected in 1942 and 1940 from Mt. Baekdusan and Anbyun in North Korea.

While collecting Poaceae weeds at Jeju-do, we found two unrecorded species of the Paspalum, P. notatum Fl$\ddot{u}$gg$\acute{e}$ and P. urvillei Steud. We provide the descriptions and illustrations of both species. Key to the newly recorded species and related taxa of Korean Paspalum is also presented.
