S-parameter circle fit 방법과 Lorentzian fit 방법으로 측정된 고온초전도 유전체 공진기의 Unloaded Quality Factor 비교 (Comparative Study for the Unloaded Quality Factors of High-Tc Superconductor-Dielectric Resonators Measured by Using S-parameter Circle-fit Method and Lorentzian-fit Method)

  • Accurate measurements of the microwave surface resistance (Rs) of high temperature superconductor (HTS) films are important with regard to applications of HTS materials for wireless communications. As the surface resistance values of HTS films are usually extracted from the measured unloaded quality factor ($Q_0$) of resonators made of HTS films, it is essential to measure the resonator $Q_0$ with accuracy. The $TE_{011}\;mode\;Q_0$ of sapphire resonators with the endplates made of $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-{\delta}}$(YBCO) film on $LaAlO_3$ is measured by using the S-parameter circle-fit method at a frequency of about 19.6 GHz and temperatures of 30 K to 90 K, which is compared with the measured values by using the Lorentzian-fit method. Good agreements are found between the two sets of $Q_0$ values measured by using the two different methods whether the resonator is used in a weak-coupling scheme or a strong-coupling scheme, showing reliability of both methods fur measuring the resonator $Q_0$ accurately. The $Q_0$ of sapphire resonators with a gap between the top plate and the rest of the resonator is also discussed.

  • Effects of sintering temperature and time on relative permittivity $\varepsilon$$\_$r/, unloaded quality factor Q$.$f and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency $\tau$$\_$f/ of dielectric resonator materials produced from commercial ZST powder were investigated in some detail. Q$.$f values, as determined from cavity perturbation method at 1.6 GHz, gradually increased with sintering temperature reaching the maximum at 1420$^{\circ}C$. However, bulk density and relative permittivity values, which increased with temperature, started to decrease above 1380$^{\circ}C$. In addition, Q$.$f values slightly increased with sintering time at the sintering temperature of 1300$^{\circ}C$∼1380$^{\circ}C$, while bulk density and relative permittivity values were approximately constant. It was also found that $\tau$$\_$f/ values were not affected by sintering temperature and time within the experimental conditions used.

  • 다이플렉서는 주파수가 다른 상향신호와 하향신호를 분리해서 하나의 안테나로 위성과 통신을 할 수 있게 해주는 핵심 장치이다. 이 논문에서는 저궤도 위성관제에 사용되는 S-대역 다이플렉서의 설계 및 제작에 대한 내용을 기술하고 있다. 높은 수용전력과 낮은 삽입손실의 요구에 대해 이 논문에서는 unloaded Q값이 높은 air cavity형 공진기를 사용하였다. 설계에 앞서 공진기의 구조로부터 이의 등가회로 및 unloaded Q를 산출하였다. 제작 및 조정의 용이성을 위해 공진기들 간의 결합량을 상용 전자장 시뮬레이터(EESOF $ADS^{TM}$)를 이용하여 분석한 후 이 결과를 2차 다항식으로 표현하였다. 특히 송신과 수신의 분리도를 강화하기 위해 유도성과 용량성 감쇄극을 각각 삽입하였고 이에 대한 효과를 기술하였다. 제작된 S-대역 다이플렉서는 8단의 공진기를 사용한 2개의 여파기로 구성되어 있으며 측정을 통해 통과대역에서 0.5dB 미만의 삽입손실과 20dB 이상의 반사손실, 그리고 100dB 이상의 분리도의 성능요구사항을 만족하였다.

Simple Technique for Measurement of Complex Permittivity and Detection of Small Permittivity Change Using Partially Open Cavity

  • This letter presents a measurement methodology of the complex permittivity of liquid using a partially open cavity in narrow band. The partially open cavity (POC) can measure dielectric small changes caused by the temperature variation of the liquid inside the cavity as well. Using the resonance frequency and unloaded quality factor of the proposed POC, the complex permittivity is evaluated. The apertures on the walls of the cavity are designed to circulate the liquid inside to outside of the POC and located at the corner area of the cavity to minimize the disturbance of field distribution at the dominant mode. The results measured by the proposed POC were compared with those by the conventional open-ended probe and Cole-Cole equation. The POC showed better performance in measuring small dielectric constant changes than the open-ended probe.

  • 국내의 내화성능평가는 대부분 사양적설계 방법인 품질시험을 통해 이뤄지고 있다. 하지만 시험 특성상 많은 비용과 시간을 요구하며 다양한 건축구조에 대한 내화성능평가에는 어려움이 많다. 따라서 본연구에서는 성능적 설계를 위한 연구로 유한요소 구조해석 프로그램인 ABAQUS를 사용해 H형강 휨재를 대상으로 변수에 따른 열응력 해석을 통해 내화성능을 검토하며, 하중비별 한계온도를 제안한다.

  • Dielectric properties of Ba(ZnS11/3TTaS12/3T)OS13T+x ZnO(x=0, 0.4, 0.8, 1.0 wt%) ceramics have been investigated at microwave frequencies. With excess ZnO, the sinterability was improved and the dielectric constant($\varepsilon$S1rT) and the unloaded quality factor(QS1UT) were increased. The structure changed into hexagonal from pseudocubic as being annealed at 140$0^{\circ}C$ in excess ZnO composition. Also, the temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency ($\tau$S1fT) turned into (-)ppm/$^{\circ}C$ when sintered at 155$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours. But the specimen sintered in ZnO muffling showed increased density and $\varepsilon$S1rT but lowerde QS1uT. Among the specimen investigated, expecially the composition added with 0.4wt% excess ZnO showed the most optimum dielectric values ($\varepsilon$S1rT=28, QS1uT x f=120000GHz) better than those of original Ba(ZnS11/2T TaS12/3T)OS13T ceramics.

A Multi-Objective Differential Evolution for Just-In-Time Door Assignment and Truck Scheduling in Multi-door Cross Docking Problems

  • Nowadays, the distribution centres aim to reduce costs by reducing inventory and timely shipment. Cross docking is a logistics strategy in which products delivered to a distribution centre by inbound trucks are directly unloaded and transferred to outbound trucks with minimum warehouse storage. Moreover, on-time delivery in a distribution network becomes very crucial especially when several distribution centres and customers are involved. Therefore, an efficient truck scheduling is needed to synchronize the delivery throughout the network in order to satisfy all stake-holders. This paper presents a mathematical model of a mixed integer programming for door assignment and truck scheduling in a multiple inbound and outbound doors cross docking problem according to Just-In-Time concept. The objective is to find the schedule of transhipment operations to simultaneously minimize the total earliness and total tardiness of trucks. Then, a multi-objective differential evolution (MODE) is proposed with an encoding scheme and four decoding strategies, called ITSH, ITDD, OTSH and OTDD, to find a Pareto frontier for the multi-door cross docking problems. The performances of MODE are evaluated using 15 generated instances. The numerical experiments demonstrate that the proposed algorithm is capable of finding a set of diverse and high quality non-dominated solutions.

마이크로파 가변 소자용 K-band Coplanar Stripline 공진기 설계 (K-band Coplanar Stripline Resonator for Microwave Tunable Devices)

  • In order to develop a tunable resonator which can be easily operated by DC bias and applied for microwave tunable filters and devices using ferroelectric thin or thick films, the non conductor backed-and conductor backed- coplanar stripline resonators have been designed and analyzed. They have been designed to be operated at 25 GHz which involve coplanar stripline input and output ports. The resonators have been simulated and analyzed using Ansoft HFSS. The research has been focused on the Quality factor of the coplanar stripline resonator. The conductor Q, box Q, and radiation Q of the resonators have been analyzed and calculated according to the substrate thickness & conductor width of the resonators. From these parameters, the loss factors of the coplanar stripline resonator have been investigated. The conducting Q of the coplanar stripline resonator has no relation with the thickness of dielectric substrate and increases as the conductor width increases. The box Q has no much relation with the thickness of substrate and the conductor width, which is above 2000. The radiation loss increases as the thickness of substrate and the conductor width increase. To decrease the radiation loss of the coplanar stripline resonator, a conductor backed coplanar stripline resonator has been proposed which has the unloaded Q of 170.

  • Dielectric and structural properties of $Ba_{1-x}$(Z $n_{1}$3/T $a_{2}$3/) $O_{3}$+1 mol% Mn $O_{2}$ (x=0, 0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04) ceramics was investigated at microwave frequencies. With $Ba_{+2}$ shortage, the sinterability and the unloaded Q( $Q_{u}$) were much improved, and the ordering in B site and the lattice distortion was greatly enhanced and the structure approached the completely ordered structure. $Q_{u}$ was strongly correlated with these factors such as ordering ratio, lattice distortion and sinterability, and had the maximum value of 7500 at x=0.01. The dielectric constant was near 30 and the temperature coefficient of the resonant frequency was 2 ppm/.deg. C at x=0.01.1.1.1.
