이 연구는 협력적 문제해결에 기반한 초등 과학수업이 학생들의 인성역량에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 광역시 소재의 초등학교 5학년 2개 학급의 학생을 연구대상으로 선정하였으며, 실험집단 학생들에게는 초등 과학교육과정 '용해와 용액' 단원에서 선정한 5개 주제에 대하여 협력적 문제해결에 기반한 초등 과학수업을 개발하여 적용하였다. 협력적 문제해결에 기반한 과학수업이 학생들의 인성역량에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 수업 전과 후 인성역량 검사결과와 실험집단의 학생들이 수업 중 작성한 반성글쓰기 활동지 및 수업 후 자신의 인성역량 변화에 대한 설문지를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 협력적 문제해결에 기반한 초등 과학수업은 초등학생의 인성역량을 함양시키는 데 효과적이었다.

In this paper, we consider some approximate testings for the reliability of the stress-strength model when the stress X and strength Y each depends linearly on some explanatory variables z and w, respectively. We construct a bootstrap procedure for testing for various values of the reliability and compare the power of the bootstrap test with the test based on Mann-Whitney type estimator by Park et.al.(1996) for small and moderate sample size.

With the intention to solve environmental problems caused by synthetic plastics from petroleum resources, biodegradable polyurethane foams and thermosetting moldings were prepared from biomass, such as wood and wheat bran by liquefaction method. Biodegradability of these biomass-based polymeric materials was investigated. In activated sludge, polyurethane foams from liquefied wheat bran and thermosetting molding from phenolated wood were decomposed approximately 14% and 29% for 20 days, respectively. One of the wood fungi, Coriolus versicolor was able to grow without supplemental nutrition, only with distilled water and polyurethane foam as a nutrition source. Risk assessments were also conducted and results showed that estrogenicity, mutagenicity, and carcinogenicity were not observed in the extractives of biomass- based polymeric materials.

현재 스마트폰이나 태블릿PC 등의 터치화면 상에서 사용되는 한글 입력 방식은 qwerty, 나랏글, 천지인 등 시각 정보를 기반으로 만들어진 가상 키보드들이 사용되고 있다. 이는 시각에 문제가 없는 일반인 사용자에게는 효율적인 방식이지만 시각 장애인(시력장애, 시야 결손장애)들에게는 불편한 점이 있다. 이 문제를 개선하기 위하여 터치화면 상에서 손동작을 기반으로 한 한글 입력 방식을 제안한다. 이 방식은 사용자가 직접 기준 위치를 정하여 사용하므로 시각 정보가 제한된 상황에서도 입력할 수 있다. 또한, 이 방식은 사용자가 쉽게 배울 수 있도록 설계되었다. 모음 입력은 사용자가 쉽게 연상 되는 동작에 할당하였고, 자음 입력은 빈도수를 고려하여 자주 사용되는 자음은 편하게 움직일 수 있는 검지와 중지의 움직임에 주로 할당하였다.

While forecasting sales of a new product is very difficult, it is critical to market success. This is especially true when other products have a highly negative influence on the product because of competition effect. In this paper, we develop a choice-based competitive diffusion model and apply to the case where two digital mobile telecommunication services, that is, digital cellular and PCS services, compete. The basic premise is that demand patterns result from choice behavior, where customers choose a product to maximize their utility. In comparison with Bass-type competitive diffusion models, our model provides superior fitting and forecasting performance. The choice-based model is useful in that it enables the description of such competitive environments and provides the flexibility to include marketing mix variables such as price and advertising.

Cloud computing is an internet-based technology, providing services to the virtualized IT environment, and allowing users to add or remove resources of hardware or software at their discretion. Since Cloud computing can construct virtually integrated environments out of multiple local computing environments, various information services can be provided by it. In addition, state organizations also strive to build the cloud computing environments due to the benefits of reduced costs to introduce the system and of reduced time to build and provide the IT services. This study suggests a web-based cloud computing system for the computing environments, to be applied for the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Republic of Korea.

This paper first discusses the existing non-homogeneous Poisson process(NHPP) software reliability growth model(SRGM) frameworks with respect to capability of representing software reliability growth phenomenon. As an enhancement of representational capability a new general coverage-based NHPP SRGM framework is developed. Issues associated with application of the new framework are then considered.
