Research on the Application of Gamification in Fitness App Based on Kano Model

  • In recent years, public attention to health and wellness issues has increased. The integration of smart fitness hardware and innovative technologies have made the development of smart fitness a trend. The number of fitness applications in the market has surged, and demand for an optimal experience is increasingly high. This study selects Sweatcoin, Home Workout, Six Pack in 30 Days, and Fitness Coach & Diet as research subjects from the top ten global mobile health and fitness apps in 2022 based on download rankings. The research is based on eight gamification elements: motivation, challenge, achievement, relationships, sharing, reward, level, and competition, identified through preliminary studies. We distributed a total of 166 questionnaires to users and collected 163 valid responses for data analysis. The Kano Model was used to study the desires of fitness enthusiasts using fitness apps. To reduce the limitations of the research results, the Better-Worse Method was employed for satisfaction index analysis. Based on the final analysis, we propose suggestions for improvement for the four fitness apps to better meet user needs and create a more attractive and efficient application experience.

A Study on the Improvement Scheme of University's Software Education

  • 본 논문에서는 대학의 효과적인 SW교육 방법을 제안한다. 해외 Top 10 대학과 SW중심대학, 거점 국립대학의 SW교육과정을 비교 분석하고, 그 결과를 기반으로 대학의 효과적인 SW교육 방법을 위해 5가지 개선할 점을 제안한다. 첫째는 교육과정 개발과정에서 SW 개발자의 직무 분석을 기반으로 교과목을 개발함으로써 산업체 현장 적응력을 높이는 것이다. 둘째는 4차 산업혁명 핵심기술(클라우드컴퓨팅, 빅데이터, 가상/증강현실, 사물인터넷 등)의 교과목을 강화하여 의료, 바이오, 센서, 인간, 인지과학 등의 다양한 분야와 융합하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째는 프로그래밍 언어 교육은 기본적인 문법 교육 후, SW융합 교과목에 포함하여 다양한 분야의 프로젝트를 구현해 보도록 해야 한다. 또한, 응용프로그램 개발자보다는 시스템프로그래밍 개발자, Back-End(서버단) 개발자 양성을 위한 교과목을 강화해야 한다. 넷째는 Product 기반의 자기 주도적 학습이 가능한 캡스톤디자인, 종합설계 등의 교과목을 강화하여 산업체 프로젝트에 참여할 기회를 제공한다. 다섯째는 지역 기반의 산업체 현장에서 기술을 습득할 수 있는 인턴십 또는 산학연계 프로그램을 강화함으로써 각 지역산업 기반의 대학 특성화 교육과정 개발이 필요하다.

국내대학의 학술논문 공동연구 기여도 산정 기준 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Korean Universities' Co-author Credit Allocation Standards on Journal Publications)

  • 본 연구는 보편적이고 타당한 학술논문 공동연구 기여도 산정 기준의 개발을 도모하기 위하여, 국내대학의 교수연구업적평가 중 학술논문 공동연구 기여도 산정 기준을 분석하였다. 국내 문헌정보학과가 포함된 종합대학 27개교의 규정과 189명의 국내 교수들의 2001년~2014년간의 학술논문 데이터를 수집하여 첫 번째 학교기준들을 비교하였으며, 두번째 공동연구의 기여도 세 가지 산정식(Inflated, Harmonic, Fractional)과 학교기준을 적용하여 도출한 순위를 통계적으로 분석하였다. 계량서지학의 대표적인 공동연구 기여도 기준(i.e Vinkler)과 가장 유사한 기준은 기여도 총합이 1인 학교기준이었으며, 국내의 저자역할은 제1저자, 교신저자, 공동저자로만 구분하하고 있었다. 한편 순위의 통계분석 결과, 학교기준과 가장 유사한 기준은 Harmonic 방식이었으나, 학교기준 중 1보다 큰 기준과 Harmonic방식이 순위 상관이 상대적으로 차이가 나타났으며, 이러한 결과는 논문의 수가 중간수준인 저자일 경우, 산정식 형태에 따라 기여도 순위가 변동될 수 있음을 추측 할 수 있었다. 그러나 공동연구에서 가장 많은 기여도를 받는 학교기준을 적용할지라도 단독연구만큼의 기여도는 받지 못하였으며, 이는 연구자들이 공동연구를 기피하고 지양하는 한 요소가 될 수도 있다. 이에 타당한 공동연구 기여도 측정 개발을 위하여 정성적 연구방법을 포함한 후속연구가 지속 되어야 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 중금속 7종(Cu, Cd, Cr, As(III), As(V), Zn, Ni) 및 나노입자 5종(CuO, ZnO, NiO, $TiO_2$, $Fe_2O_3$)에 대한 독성을 수계 대표 생물종인 녹조류 Chlorella vulgaris를 이용한 생물검정법으로 평가하였다. 조류에 미치는 영향은 흡광도, 클로로필 및 개체수 측정에 대한 결과를 통합하여 평가하였다. 중금속의 통합결과독성($TEC_{50}$) 순서는 Cr ($0.7mgL^{-1}$) > Cu ($1.7mgL^{-1}$) > Cd ($3.2mgL^{-1}$) > Zn ($3.9mgL^{-1}$) > Ni ($13.2mgL^{-1}$) > As(III) ($17.8mgL^{-1}$) ${\gg}$ As(V) (> $1000mgL^{-1}$)로 나타났다. 중금속은 측정종말점에 따라 일부 상이한 민감도와 독성이 조사되었다. 나노입자의 독성($TEC_{50}$) 순서는 ZnO ($2.4mgL^{-1}$) > NiO ($21.1mgL^{-1}$) > CuO ($36.6mgL^{-1}$) > $TiO_2$ ($62.5mgL^{-1}$) > $Fe_2O_3$ ($82.7mgL^{-1}$)로 나타났다. 나노입자는 측정종말점간에 비슷한 민감도와 독성을 보였다. 따라서 오염물의 독성을 평가하기 위해서 단일 방법에 의한 결과보다는 다양한 측정종말점의 통합결과에 근거한 접근이 적절할 것이다.

Web contents-comparative analysis: Online shopping agencies that retail foreign apparel

  • The purpose of this study is 1) to investigate the Web content of online shopping agencies and to see if differences exist in their contents and 2) to suggest strategies for online shopping agencies. For the study, the online shopping agency components of web sites were investigated, which consisted of product, information, and customer service. Each component had sub-categories. In order to analyze the Web content of online shopping agencies, nine agencies were chosen based on the rankings of www.rankey.com and www.100hot.co.kr. The content analysis was conducted from January 5th to the 30th of 2009. The results showed that the basic Web content of online shopping agencies (i.e., product, information, and customer service) was evident on most sites. However, products were similar and effective information and labor-saving functions were sparsely used. Areas where customers actively participated were limited. Therefore, most sites need to reinforce their content by providing a well-articulated product, information, and customer service for shoppers and to differentiate their Web site identities.

The Cultural Effects on Information Characteristics of Accounting Information Systems

  • This study empirically investigated cultural differences in the amount of information provided by management accounting information systems as well as the differences in organizational performance according to variations in the amount of information. Through cluster analysis, we classified sample firms into five organizational cultural types: Semi-innovative, innovative, bureaucratic, semi-bureaucratic and supportive. The results showed that in the semi-innovative firms, a greater amount of the traditional and advanced types of information is produced, while in bureaucratic firms, traditional information is much more provided than in the innovative, semi-bureaucratic and supportive firms. These results confirmed cultural differences in the amount of information produced. According to the results of this study, it was found that in organizational performance, the rankings of semi-innovative firms, which have the highest scores in the amount of information, are also the highest, and the performance scores in innovative firms are generally next to those of semi-innovative firms. Hence, it is concluded that there are cultural differences in the amount of information provided, and these differences affect organizational performance.

  • Partially ranked data refers to the situation in which there are p distinct objects; however each judge specifies only first s (s < p) choices. The group theoretic formulation for partially ranked data analysis was set up by Critchlow (1985). We propose a graphical method for partially ranked data by quantifying objects and judges. In a plot for judges, the interpoint distances can be interpreted as Spearman or Kendall distances between two rankings given by respective judges. Similarly, we also construct a plot for objects with a sensible relationship to the previous plot for judges. This study extends the Han and Huh (1995) quantification method of fully ranked data using Gabriel's (1971) biplot technique for multivariate data matrix.

Numerical measures of Indicating Placement of Posets on Scale from Chains to Antichains

  • In this paper we obtain several function defined on finite partially ordered sets(posets) which may indicate constraints of comparability on sets of teams(tasks, etc.) for which evaluation is computationally simple, a relatively rare condition in graph-based algorithms. Using these functions a set of numerical coefficients and associated distributions obtained from a computer simulation of certain families of random graphs is determined. From this information estimates may be made as to the actual linearity of complicated posets. Applications of these ideas is to all areas where obtaining rankings from partial information in rational ways is relevant as in, e.g., team_, scaling_, and scheduling theory as well as in theoretical computer science. Theoretical consideration of special and desirable properties of various functions is provided permitting judgment concerning sensitivity of these functions to changes in parameters describing (finite) posets.

A Design of Managerial Accounting Information Characteristics considered the Organizational Culture

  • This study empirically investigated cultural differences in the amount of information provided by managerial accounting information systems as well as the differences in organizational performance according to variations in the amount of information. 보건의료 연구개발비 현황과 발전방향 (Direction of Healthcare Expenditure on Research and Development)

  • The quality of healthcare in Korea is very good, especially in life threatening disease. However, the level of healthcare research in Korea is not good relative to that of engineering. International university rankings also were showed that engineering was generally higher ranking than medicine. The reason of this phenomenon was deeply related to expenditure on research and development (R&D). Although Korea had a lot of gross domestic expenditure on R&D (GERD), 75% of GERD was from business enterprise that was related to engineering. Healthcare expenditure of R&D from business enterprise is small. Healthcare expenditure from government budget allocation on R&D (GBARD) was smaller than engineering. Higher education expenditure on R&D of GERD was also small and the quantity and quality of researcher in higher education was not enough. For Korea's healthcare to become the growth engine for future, GBARD should be invested heavily in the healthcare, a large part of the increased GBARD must be invested in higher education, and the higher education should invest to secure the higher quality researcher stably.
