유비쿼터스 환경에서는 서비스 사용자가 언제, 어디서나 모든 서비스를 사용할 수 있어야 한다. 즉, 디바이스나 서비스의 상태, 위치 정보 등 특성에 관계 없이 동질의 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 이를 위해 산재한 이질적인 서브네트워크의 상호운용성을 위한 다양한 분산 시스템의 네트워크 프로토콜과 디바이스간의 통신을 통합하기 위한 연구가 필요하다. 서브네트워크의 상호운용성을 위해서는 메시지 전송 및 변환 기능이 요구되며, 서브네트워크의 변화를 동적으로 감지하여 서비스 사용자에게 알려주어야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 웹서비스를 지원하기 위한 Web Services on Universal Networks를 제안하였다. 제안하는 WSUN은 Universal Service Broker의 프레임워크를 통해 SOA 기반으로 접근하고 있으며 요구 사항을 정의하여 필요한 구성 요소에 대한 설계하였다. 또한, 동적인 서비스 검색을 위한 Universal Service Registry를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 DPWS의 동작 시나리오를 통해 이질적인 서브네트워크의 상호운용성을 지원하기 위한 DPWS 어댑터를 설계한다.

This paper proposes enhanced features for the Universal Telecommunications (UPT), voice authentication and voice synthesis, using the specialized resources functions in the Intelligent peripheral(IP). The proposed voice authentication is able ti provide simple and user-friendly security mechanism and to prevent unauthorized users from fraudulently using the UPT number. Also, traditional UPT service deliveries only fixed message to the UPT user, but the proposed UPT service can support flexible message transfer by use of the voice synthesis.

The usage of fixed call services and public payphones decreased due to the mobile services became general communications tools and the new VoIP services are emerging. Public phone services are included in the scope of universal services and the prices of services is low and the services are easy to access anywhere. However the telecommunication markets are changed then the loss of public payphone services gets worse and the importance of public payphone have decreased. This paper reviewed the universal services regulations of public payphones in overseas countries and proposed the implications of improving the universal service regulations for public payphones.

Purpose: This study tries to explore and analyse Service Attached Elderly Housing of Japan in order to prepare new elderly housing type effectively for aged society of Korea. Service Attached Elderly Housing was introduced in 2011 and it includes existing elderly housing of Japan such as Designated Elderly Housing, Elderly Friendly Housing and Superior Elderly Housing. Methods: Historical transition of Japanese elderly housing and background of the introduction of Service Attached Elderly Housing have been reviewed first. Thereafter research team visited to 3 elderly housings of Japan providing elderly services such as elderly care, meal, cleaning, washing, safety check, entertainment, etc. Based on the literature survey and field trip, the characteristics of Service Attached Elderly Housing have been drew out. Results: As the characteristics of Service Attached Elderly Housing of Japan, mixed use facility, community based housing, generation mix, barrier free design, and provision of daily life service for the elderly have been identified. Implications: Not only physical consideration including Universal Design but also elderly services such as elderly care, meal, housework, safety check, entertainment and so on are necessary for the supply of elderly housing.

The library is a social institution that should ensure all users' information access rights. In this study, the concept of universal design is analyzed as a theoretical basis that library Websites should be accessed equitably by all kinds of users, and an evaluation criteria is developed based on the principles of universal design. The Websites of 7 regional central libraries are evaluated with suggested criteria and the ratio of compliance of universal Web design is measured. In the result, the most of the Websites are showed not only high performances on the area of (1) Web accessibility and (2) usability, but low performances on the area of (1) equitable use and (2) flexibility in use.

Objectives: The aim of this study is to compare the shear bond strengths of ceramic brackets bonded to zirconia surfaces using different zirconia primers and universal adhesive. Materials and Methods: Fifty zirconia blocks ($15{\times}15{\times}10mm$, Zpex, Tosoh Corporation) were polished with 1,000 grit sand paper and air-abraded with $50{\mu}m$ $Al_2O_3$ for 10 seconds (40 psi). They were divided into 5 groups: control (CO), Metal/Zirconia primer (MZ, Ivoclar Vivadent), Z-PRIME Plus (ZP, Bisco), Zirconia Liner (ZL, Sun Medical), and Scotchbond Universal adhesive (SU, 3M ESPE). Transbond XT Primer (used for CO, MZ, ZP, and ZL) and Transbond XT Paste was used for bracket bonding (Gemini clear ceramic brackets, 3M Unitek). After 24 hours at $37^{\circ}C$ storage, specimens underwent 2,000 thermocycles, and then, shear bond strengths were measured (1 mm/min). An adhesive remnant index (ARI) score was calculated. The data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance and the Bonferroni test (p = 0.05). Results: Surface treatment with primers resulted in increased shear bond strength. The SU group showed the highest shear bond strength followed by the ZP, ZL, MZ, and CO groups, in that order. The median ARI scores were as follows: CO = 0, MZ = 0, ZP = 0, ZL = 0, and SU = 3 (p < 0.05). Conclusions: Within this experiment, zirconia primer can increase the shear bond strength of bracket bonding. The highest shear bond strength is observed in SU group, even when no primer is used.

Ubiquitous environment is constructed by development of an IT technology, offer environment of many service changed to mobile environment. Also, existed service offered at fixed position like home or company, but according to development of mobile device. user require service as moving. Wibro can offer as user moving using mobile device. As requirement should be included authentication, in case of authentication between UICC and AAA authentication server is offered in Wibro, service is available. However, when UICC requires initial authentication to AAA authentication server, identification information of UICC expose as plaintext, so privacy infringement of mobile device occurs. Therefore, identification information of terminal generate randomly using OTP(One-Time Password) that generated in mobile terminal, and we proposed mechanism of privacy protection. Also, we proposed mechanism that offer secure service to user as offer authentication from OTP framework, and offer OTP combination authentication detailedly.

This paper examines the effects of a universal childcare subsidy on childcare decisions and mothers' employment by using Korea's policy reform of 2012, which provided a full childcare subsidy to all children aged 0 to 2. I find that the introduction of a universal childcare subsidy increased the use of childcare centers by children aged 0-2, which led to less maternal care compared to that provided to children aged 3-4. However, the expanded subsidy had little effect on mothers' labor supply. Moreover, the policy effects vary by individual and household characteristics. The effects of the expanded subsidy are mainly found in low-income households and less educated mothers. Highly educated mothers and high-income households are likely to focus more on the quality of childcare service. These results imply that a simple reduction in childcare costs would bring only limited effects on mothers' time allocation behavior; thus, more attention should be paid to improving the quality of childcare services.

In ubiquitous environment, various and amount of sensor data information occur continuously and periodically about thing and user from RHO, sensor network of various space. Such, the users from among many of provider who provide sensor service should find service that themselves is wanted. And when service use, service right to user should be provided. But in the current environment of the USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) Application Service, there is no the registry to find these services but only business- oriented UDDI(Universal Description Discovery, and integration). In addition, when service use, service right to user should be provided but current services provided only services one of the conditions or events. Therefore, rules-based processing system of service event that can provide service according various conditions and events is need. In this paper research into service registry for sensor service search with reference to existing UDDI and event processing system for USN application service with reference to event rule based on web service as WS-ECA(Web Service-Event Condition Action).

Purpose: The number of the transportation poor has been steadily increased, and also the social perspective toward the disabled has been changed. Thus, Universal Design has been needed. In particular, the unknown majority of the transportation poor have frequently used the urban railway facilities which should reflect the ideals and principles of Universal Design. However, previous research has not focused on the study on critical factors of Universal Design. Based on this observation, the present study aims to find out Universal Design critical factors of urban railway station. Methods: This study explores the criteria of planning Universal Design in the urban railway station by analyzing and comparing the similar criteria used in both domestic areas and foreign countries. Result: Findings from this study are as follows. First, we found out the critical factors of Universal Design in the urban railway station by comparing and analyzing the similar criteria previously used. Second, this study also suggests the better directions toward the domestic criteria relating to the urban railway system. Third, we found the need of the universal standard as well as individually corresponding strategy. Moreover, we found the need of preparing the critical factors for the physical environments as well as the human service. Implications: The further research on findings of the planning criteria will have been continued on the basis of findings of the present study.
