개수로에서 2차원 이송-분산 해석을 위한 시간분리 혼합 모형 (Time-split Mixing Model for Analysis of 2D Advection-Dispersion in Open Channels)

  • 본 연구에서는 전단류 분산이 이송과 난류에 의한 확산의 결합에 의해 발생한다는 Taylor (1954)의 가정을 바탕으로 개념적 모형을 구성하고, 이를 3차원 개수로에 적용하여 오염물질의 혼합과정을 재현할 수 있는 시간분리 혼합모형(Time-split Mixing Model; TMM)을 개발하였다. 개발된 모형은 연산자 분리 기법(operator split method)과 유사하게 혼합과정을 종방향 혼합과 횡방향 혼합으로 분리하고, 유속 연직편차에 의한 농도분리과정과 난류확산에 의한 연직방향 혼합과정을 순차적으로 반복 계산함으로써 2차원 이송-분산을 재현한다. 수치모의 결과, 제안된 모형은 수로벽면에 의한 농도중첩 효과를 잘 반영하고 있으며, Taylor 구간 내에서 2차원 이송-분산 모형의 해석해와 거의 일치하고 있음을 확인하였다(Chatwin, 1970). 본 모형은 하상경사, 하폭 대 수심 비, 혼합시간 등의 변화에 따라 분산 정도를 달리 재현하고 있으며, 산정된 종분산계수는 Elder(1959)가 제안한 상수값과는 달리 혼합시간에 따라 변화하는 양상을 나타냈다. 횡분산계수의 경우, Sayre와 Chang(1968), Fischer 등(1979)이 실험을 통해 제시한 값과 유사한 범위를 나타냈다.

버섯재배사의 공조시스템 설계에 대한 연구 (A study on the design of air conditioning system in the mushroom cultivation greenhouse)

  • 온실에서 버섯을 재배할 때 균일한 온도 분포가 되도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 지하 공기를 이용하여 비닐 하우스, 버섯재배사에 일정 온도의 공기를 공급하며 균일하게 유지하게 한다. 버섯재배사 구조는 7단 4열의 다배열 균상들 사이의 공기 흐름을 원활히 하고 위, 아래 균상 간의 환경 차이를 방지한다. 0.5m/s의 속도로 유입되는 공기는 초기 내부온도 간의 차이에 따라 밀도 차에 따른 부력에 의한 효과 역시 무시할 수 없으며, 온실내의 유동 해석을 통해 적정 온도가 균등하게 분포하도록 FCU(Fan Coil Unit)와 Fan의 위치를 정해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 유동해석을 통해 FCU와 Fan으로 구성된 샌드위치 단열 패널형의 버섯재배사의 공조시스템을 설계할 수 있었다. 그리고 재배사 내부의 온도 및 유동 해석을 통해 FCU(유입구)와 Fan(출구)의 위치가 서로 다른 Case에서 유입되는 공기의 순환 경로가 길어지면서 비교적 균일한 온도분포를 갖는데 유리함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 이러한 환경 개선을 통해 버섯의 생육 및 품질 균일성을 도모할 수 있었다.

측면보조전계 인가 전기영동전착 초전도후막 (Superconducting Thick Film by Lateral Field Assisted EPD)

  • 전기영동전착법은 제작장치와 공정이 간단하고 두께제어 및 다양한 형태의 초전도 막과 선재 제작이 가능한 경제적 효율성과 기술적 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전착공정 개발을 통한 분말의 치밀성 및 배향성 향상을 위한 최적화 방안과, 건조 및 열처리 과정에서의 크랙 및 기공현상과 같은 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 균일한 표면의 확보에 관한 연구를 수행하였으며 전기영동전착 초전도 후 막 테이프 제조를 위한 공정의 최적화 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. YBCO 초전도 후막의 균일한 표면과 초전도특성 향상을 위한 공정개선방법으로는 수직방향 교류전계 인가 방식을 적용한 시스템을 최초로 개발하여 전기영동전착 공정에 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 수직방향 교류전계 인가 방식은 경제적 효율성을 위하여 60 Hz의 25∼120 V/cm의 상용전원을 사용하였으며, 제작된 후막은 기공과 크랙현상이 제거된 균일한 후막으로 여기서 얻어진 대표적인 특성 값들은 임계온도(Tc,zero) 90 K, 임계전류밀도 3419 A/$\textrm{cm}^2$의 값을 얻었다. 직류 전착전계만을 사용하여 제작된 후막의 임계전류밀값인 2354 A/$\textrm{cm}^2$에 비하여 45% 이상 향상된 특성을 확보하였다.

광조건별 백수오의 종자 발아 특성 및 초기생육 비교 (Comparison of the Characteristics of Seed Germination and the First Stage of Growth in Cynanchum wilfordii (Maxim.) by Different Light Conditions)

  • This study was carried out to compare the characteristics of seed germination and the first stage of growth in Cynanchum wilfordii (Maxim.) by different light conditions such ass fluorescent light, dark and light emitting diode (LED). There was not much difference from the germination rate of C. wilfordii (Maxim.) in different light conditions for 10 days. The highest of germination rate occurred over 91.11 percentage by LED red condition at $26^{\circ}C$. Also mean germination velocity and promptness index were represented the highest results of 2.3 ea/day and 52.67 under red light, respectively. But mean germination time under both LED red and blue light was represented low data that it takes over three days for germinating of seed. Even though handling both LED red and blue lights, the germination uniformity was not constant. These results may help our understanding of variations in germination characteristics for C. wilfordii (Maxim.) seeds treated under different light conditions.

도시철도 침목플로팅궤도 분기기 망간크로싱의 손상해석 (Damage Analysis of Manganese Crossings for Turnout System of Sleeper Floating Tracks on Urban Transit)

  • 도시철도 침목플로팅궤도(STEDEF)의 분기기는 콘크리트 도상에 매입된 목침목과 침목 하부의 침목방진패드로 구성된 방진궤도로서 침목방진패드의 열화 및 이에 따른 스프링강성의 변화가 침목지지조건의 변화를 초래할 수 있다. 현재 약 21년의 공용기간 동안 발생된 망간크로싱의 손상수량은 전체 부설수량 대비 약 17%로 조사되었으며, 사용 기간 15년 이후(누적통과톤수 약 5.5억톤)부터 손상 물량이 증가하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구에서는 실물 망간크로싱과 차륜의 형상을 모사한 3차원 수치모델을 이용한 매개변수 해석(차륜의 위치, 침목지지조건 및 동적 윤중의 크기)을 수행하여 실제 현장에서 발생된 망간크로싱의 손상유형 및 발생원인을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 노즈부 주변 침목에 뜬침목이 발생된 경우, 설계 궤도충격계수가 적용된 동적윤중 작용 시 노즈부 단면의 발생응력이 항복강도를 초과하였으며, 이는 실제 현장에서 발생된 손상위치와 비교적 잘 일치하는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 망간크로싱의 손상을 최소화하기 위해서는 노즈부 주변의 침목지지조건을 일정한 수준으로 유지하고, 손상된 망간크로싱 교체 시에는 침목 하부 경계조건의 균일성 확보를 위해 침목방진패드를 함께 교체하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 분석되었다.

음이온 교환막 수전해 적용을 위한 고균일 고내구 코발트 산화물 전극의 제조 및 공정 조건 최적화 (Optimization of fabrication and process conditions for highly uniform and durable cobalt oxide electrodes for anion exchange membrane water electrolysis)

  • Anion exchange membrane electrolysis is considered a promising next-generation hydrogen production technology that can produce low-cost, clean hydrogen. However, anion exchange membrane electrolysis technology is in its early stages of development and requires intensive research on electrodes, which are a key component of the catalyst-system interface. In this study, we optimized the pressure conditions of the hot-pressing process to manufacture cobalt oxide electrodes for the development of a high uniformity and high adhesion electrode production process for the oxygen evolution reaction. As the pressure increased, the reduction of pores within the electrode and increased densification of catalytic particles led to the formation of a uniform electrode surface. The cobalt oxide electrode optimized for pressure conditions exhibited improved catalytic activity and durability. The optimized electrode was used as the anode in an AEMWE single cell, exhibiting a current density of 1.53 A cm-2 at a cell voltage of 1.85 V. In a durability test conducted for 100 h at a constant current density of 500 mA cm-2, it demonstrated excellent durability with a low degradation rate of 15.9 mV kh-1, maintaining 99% of its initial performance.

  • 축열재 이용 기술은 실내 냉난방을 위하여 사용된 에너지를 장시간 일정온도로 유지할 수 있도록 하여 에너지 사용 효율을 높이는 장점이 있다. 이 중 상변화 물질을 이용한 잠열 축열재는 물질의 잠열성질을 이용하는 것으로서 심물질로서 일정온도에서 녹는점을 갖는 물질을 캡슐화 하여 이를 건축자재에 적용하여 실내 및 외기의 온도에 따라서 심물질이 녹거나 어는 과정에서 축열과 방열로 인한 에너지 절감 및 차단 효과를 갖는다. 상변화 물질을 이용해 축열재를 만드는 방법은 마이크로 캡슐화의 방법이 있다. 이 방법은 크게 분류하면 화학적 방법, 물리 화학적 방법 및 물리적 기계적 방법의 3가지로 나눌 수 있다. 물리 화학적 방법으로 습식공정에 의한 마이크로 캡슐화 공정을 이용했으며 이 공정은 심물질을 용매에서 에멀젼화한 다음 고분자모노머를 심물질인 에멀젼의 벽면에 코팅하여 경화 시키는 공정이다. 이 경우에 심물질의 에멀젼이나 벽재 모노머의 코팅 성능을 좋게 하기 위하여 계면활성제가 사용된다. 또한 계면활성제의 특성에 따라서 마이크로 캡슐화의 성능이 좌우되고 특히 벽재물질의 코팅 두께 및 코팅의 균일성에 크게 좌우된다. 본 연구에서는 상변화를 이용한 축열재로서 심물질인 1-도데카놀을 멜라민수지로 계면중합법에 의하여 마이크로 캡슐화 하는데 있어서 계면활성제인 SSMA(sulfonated styrene-maleic anhydride)의 화학적 특성에 따른 마이크로 캡슐의 성능과 이에 따른 축열 성능을 비교하였다.

현장관측용 분광 광도계의 상대 검교정 시스템 개발 (Development of relative radiometric calibration system for in-situ measurement spectroradiometers)

  • 천리안해양관측위성(Geostationary Ocean Color Imager, GOCI)이 2010년 6월에 발사된 이후, 영상 자료의 보정과 검증을 위한 여러 차례의 현장 관측이 한반도 주변에서 수행되었다. 한국해양과학기술원 해양위성센터(Korea Ocean Satellite Center, KOSC)에서는 Analytical Spectral Devices (ASD)사의 분광 광도계 FieldSpec3나 TriOS사의 분광 광도계 RAMSES와 같은 현장관측장비의 특성 변화를 확인하기 위하여 미국국립표준기술원(National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST)의 표준화 절차를 거친 광원과 표준 분광 광도계를 이용하여 각각의 현장 관측 마다 기기의 성능을 측정하였다. 본 논문에서는 해양위성센터에 구축된 광학 실험실과 현장관측 분광 광도계의 상대적 복사 검교정 방법에 대해서 소개하고 있다. 광학 실험실은 98% 이상의 광원 균질성을 지니는 20인치 적분구(USS-2000S, LabSphere)와 360 nm 부터 1100 nm 까지 1.6 nm 파장 간격으로 측정이 가능한 표준 분광 광도계(MCPD9800, Photal), 그리고 ${\pm}0.1mm$의 편평도를 가지는 광학테이블($3600{\times}1500{\times}800mm^3$)을 기본으로 구성되어 있다. 실험실 내부는 정확한 검교정 실험을 위하여 일정한 온습도를 유지하고 있으며, 동일한 광원에 동일한 위치에서 표준과 현장관측용 분광 광도계를 동시에 측정하는 방법을 기본으로 한다. 해양위성센터가 보유하고 있는 ASD 를 측정한 결과, 현장관측용 분광광도계의 결과가 푸른 가시광 영역에서 미세한 차이가 측정 시 마다 나타나는 것을 확인하였고, 더불어 1년간의 상대 검교정 실험에 따르면 평균적으로 4.41% 정도의 파장별 광특성이 변화하는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 측정 정확도를 유지하고, GOCI 자료의 신뢰도를 확보하기 위하여 지속적인 검교정 실험을 수행해야 하는 이유를 보여주고 있다.

Anodic Alumina와 Retriculate Vitreous Carbon을 전극으로 사용하여 수용액에서 중금속이온의 제거 (Removal of Heavy Metal Ions in the Aqueous Solution Using Anodic Alumina and Retriculate Vitreous Carbon Electrodes)

  • 0.3M의 옥살산 용액에서 anodic alumina를 제작하였으며 barrier 층을 제거하기 위하여 20wt% 황산 용액에서 한시간 동안 방치시켰다. 이 anodic alumina를 전극으로 사용하여 수용액에서 $Cd^{2+}$, $Co2^{+}$$Pb^{2+}$이온들을 환원시켜 제거하였다. XRD와 SBM으로 anodic alumina의 구조를 분석하였고, SEM 결과 anodic alumina에는 60nm의 pore가 존재함을 확인할 수 있었으며, 20wt% 황산 용액으로 처리 후 anodic alumina의 표면이 황산에 약간 녹기 때문에 anodic alumina의 표면의 규칙성이 떨어지는 결과를 보였다. anodic alumina를 음극, 그리고 탄소를 양극으로 각각 사용하여 $Cd(NO_3)_2{\cdot}4H_2O$, $Co(NO_3)_2{\cdot}6H_2O$$PbSO_4$ 수용액에 24시간동안 직류전류를 흘려주었을 때, 전류를 흘려준 시간에 따라 전압이 각각 4.6, 3.4 및 5.1V 까지 증가하다가 4.2, 2.7 및 2.4V로 일정해지는 결과를 얻었다. 전류를 흘려준 시간이 18시간까지는 시간이 증가할수록 용액내의 금속이온의 농도는 감소하였으며 음극인 anodic alumina의 표면에 각 금속들이 석출되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. anodic alumina로 금속이온을 제거한 수용액을 retriculate vitreous carbon(RVC)를 작업전극으로 하는 flow cell로 제2차 금속이온 제거를 수행하였다. $Cd^{2+}$$Co^{2+}$이온의 농도는 용액을 flow cell에 20분간 흘려줄 때까지만 감소하였고 $Pb^{2+}$이온 농도는 30분까지 감소하였다. 이 경우 $Cd^{2+}$, $Co^{2+}$$Pb^{2+}$이온들 제거효율은 각각 34.78, 28.79 및 86.38% 이었다. 또한 $Cd^{2+}$$Co^{2+}$이온이 동시에 RVC전극에 흡착 가능한 결과를 보였으며 제거효율은 32.30 및 31.37% 이었다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction.
