This paper is concerned with the design of an appropriate sampling plan or stopping rule and the construction of estimate for the estimation of process or lot fraction defective. Various sampling plans which are well known or have potential applications are unified into a generalized sampling plan. Under this sampling plan sufficient statistic, probability distribution, moment, and minimum variance unbiased estimate are obtained. Results for various sampling plans can be derived as special cases. Then, under given parameter values, the relative efficiencies of the various sampling plans are compared with respect to expected sample sizes and variances of estimates.

This paper describes the design, implementation and results of a unified non-rigid image registration method for the purposes of 3D shape reconstruction from serial section images. The proposed method uses active contour-based segmentation and compensation of radial distortion. Experimental results show that multiple images can be segmented and reconstructed by active single contour as well as intra- and inter-section registration.

네트워크 상에서 송수신되는 데이터를 외부의 침입으로부터 보호하는 것은 매우 중요하며, 그 중 데이터의 무결성을 검증하고 보장하기 위한 방법으로 SSL(Secure Socket Layer)을 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 클라이언트와 서버간에 송수신되는 데이터의 무결성이 위배되었을 경우 그 정보를 검증 및 관리할 수 있도록 OpenSSL을 이용한 무결성 위배 데이터 검증 및 관리 시스템을 구성하고, 검증된 데이터를 IDS(Intrusion Detection System)로 전송하여 침입 탐지 정보와 무결성 검증 정보를 통합적으로 관리할 수 있는 IDS 통합 시스템을 제안 및 설계하였다.

본 논문에서는 기존에 구현한 유닉스 버전 CASE(Computer Aided Software Engineering) 도구인 OODesigner를 윈도 버전으로 이식한 연구 결과에 대하여 논한다. 유닉스 버전 OODesigner는 Rumbaugh가 제안한 OMT(Object Modeling Technique) 기법을 지원하기 위해 구현되었지만 윈도 버전은 UML(Unified Modeling Language)을 지원할 수 있도록 기능이 향상되었다. 본 논문은 구현된 윈도 버전 OODesigner의 설계 문서와 구현 결과를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

This paper presents a dynamic simulation algorithm for studying the effect of Unified Power Flow Controller(UPFC) on the low frequency power system oscillations and transient stability studies. The algorithm is a Newton-type one and gives a fast convergence characteristics. The algorithm is applied to inter-area power oscillation damping regulator design of a sample two-area power system. The results show that UPFC is very effective for damping inter-area oscillations.

This article introduces a unified method of choosing the most explanatory and significant multiway partitions for classification tree design and analysis. The method is derived on the impurity reduction (IR) measure of divergence, which is proposed to extend the proportional-reduction-in-error (PRE) measure in the decision-theory context. For the method derivation, the IR measure is analyzed to characterize its statistical properties which are used to consistently handle the subjects of feature formation, feature selection, and feature deletion required in the associated classification tree construction. A numerical example is considered to illustrate the proposed approach.

컴포넌트 기반의 개발과 컴포넌트 개발에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 이를 위한 개발 방법론과 개발 도구들의 도입이 확산되고 있다. 또한 컴포넌트의 재사용 범위를 확장시키기 위해 컴포넌트 개발 시 나타나는 Hot Spot 처리를 위한 분석, 설계기법에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Hot Spot 처리시에 나타나는 의존적인 Hot Spot을 디자인하는 방법을 제시하고 그 방법을 적용하여 의존적인 Hot Spot을 디자인 할 때 발생되는 Hot Spot 간의 결합도 줄이고 디자인 모델의 가독성을 높인다. 본 논문에서는 디자인 모델링을 위한 표기법으로서 객체지향 모델링 기법인 (UML(Unified Modeling Language)를 이용하여 모델링한다.

The UML(Unified Modeling Language) Class Diagram which is a part of structure of UML is fit for Object Modeling, and more recently, as the appearance of UXF(UML eXchange Format) UML Class Diagram by itself, can be exchanged in many other different system document. So this paper suggest the conversion system from UML Class Diagram to XML DTD. As this we can easily transformation and saving the UML Class Diagram that is the standard of Modeling Language to XML document which is so reusable. Also it can give a flexible method for the representation to the logical structure of document in various way because of converting XML DTD.

Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a standard language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems. On the other hand, XML, which is a meta-language, provides meta-data types for representing and string objects. It make software development easy because it can represent various information and share information about the software analysis and design between developers, In this paper, we apply BitWiz, one of automated software generation systems, to a bid application and analyse this in UML point of view. Also, we briefly introduce an XML documentation from UML products and a verification method of XML documents from UML products.
