흥미-전공일치도와 전공적응 수준에 따른 기본심리욕구의 차이: 공학계열 2학년 대학생을 중심으로 (The Differences of Basic Psychological Needs by Interest-Major Congruence and Major Adjustment in Engineering Sophomore year of University)

  • This study was conducted to explore the major adjustment factors in undergraduates by investigating the characteristics of group which doesn't correspond to Holland's congruence assumption. For this study, 313 sophomore year undergraduates in engineering were surveyed. The results of this study showed as follows. First, the group which doesn't correspond to Holland's congruence assumption represented 16.6% of all. Second, there were significant differences of basic psychological needs among four groups by interest-major congruence and major adjustment. These findings imply that major selection in congruence with interest is not critical and we should also consider basic psychological needs(autonomy, competence, relatedness) for engineering major adjustment.

변의 길이가 특별한 수열을 이루는 삼각형 (Several Triangles with the Sides Connecting Sequences)

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of geometric and arithmetic triangles. Geometric and arithmetic triangles are special types of rational Heron triangles - triangles with rational sides and area. In addition, the theory illustrated in this paper gives certain theorems on the determination of non-right angled geometric and arithmetic triangles. In the meantime, with the help of Mathematica, we compute the sides and area of several triangles(GRT, IGT, RIGT, RAT). Since the material presented in this paper is within the reach of undergraduates, it can attract attention of mathematics students and may also be of interest to the mathematicians. In this content we believe this paper can help undergraduates to have interests in the new world of mathematics.

골프선수의 3차원적 척추구조, 골반변위 및 족압에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structure of Three Dimentional Spine, Pelvic Deviation and Foot Pressure in Golf Players)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate variables of significantly difference as the structure of the spine, pelvic deviation and foot pressure between undergraduates and golf player subjects. The subjects of study were composed of 20 male golf players and 20 male undergraduates. Both groups were right handed persons. The measurement tools of this study were Formetric 4D(Diers, Germany) which is a three dimensional measure. The result are the follows: there were a significant difference between golf players and general students of trunk imbalance, pelvic tilt, pelvic torsion, pelvic rotation, surface rotation, lumbar lordotic curve, foot pressure(fore & behind foot), weight distribution(right & left foot). In conclusion, golf players might cause transform of spine and foot pressure due to golf exercise for several years. Such as imbalance affect to induce functional impairment and pain of musculoskeletal system, and appropriate evaluation and treatment were necessary for golf players.

이야기 구성과 사회적 행동 설명에서 나타나는 아동의 마음 이론 비교 (Children's Theory of Mind : Story Constructions Compared With Social Behavior Explanations)

  • Children 5 and 8 years of age and undergraduates constructed stories using the wordless picture book, "Frog, where are you?" On a separate task, they explained the good and bad behaviors of others. The constructed stories of task 1 and responses of task 2 were audiotaped, analyzed by clauses, and then coded into the mind-related categories. Results showed that on both tasks the subjects used the actor's desires and intentions much more than the other categories of mind. Undergraduates used more mind-related expressions in making their stories than children, but they were not different from children in considering the minds of others for behavior explanations. Positive but non-significant correlations were found between scores in constructing stories and scores in behavior explanations.

한 . 일 여자대학생들의 물질주의성향 (A Study on the Materialism of Korean and Japan Undergraduates)

  • The objective of this study was to find variables related to materialism of university students in Korea and Japan. A questionnaire research method was conducted and 477 samples were selected. Korean university students have higher materialism than Japanese university students. Korean undergraduates are influenced by reference group, but Japanese university students are influenced by group identity. Materialism of Korean university students are influenced by nonmaterialism, reference group, perception of living level, self concept, pocket money, mother's job. Materialism of Japan university students is influenced by nonmaterialism, group identity, perception of living level, grade. The strongest predictor of materialism of Korean university students is nonmaterialism, followed by reference group. The strongest predictor of materialism of Japanese university students is nonmaterialism, followed by group identity.

조리학 전공 대학생들의 인턴쉽 기대와 만족에 관한 연구 (Expectation and Satisfaction with Internship Program of Undergraduate Students Majoring in Culinary Studies)

  • This study investigated the degree of expectation and satisfaction with internship program of undergraduates majoring in culinary studies, and suggested improvements in satisfaction for training programs. Differences between expectation and satisfaction were significant in all 21 items including pay for internship program, rest spaces, and break time during working. Expectation questions were extracted to five factors. Factor 1 circumstances of kitchen Factor 2 staff's ability and attitude Factor 3 working environment Factor 4 working hours and pay and Factor 5 rotation, period, and placement of jobs. Five factors were also obtained from factor analysis of satisfaction. Factor 1 working hours and rest Factor 2 staff's attitude and pay Factor 3 facilities and sanitation Factor 4 circumstances of kitchen and Factor 5 period and placement of jobs. Overall satisfaction values showed significant differences depending on gender, school-year system, grade, age, and school. The working hours and rest factor had the most significant influence on the overall satisfaction with internship program of undergraduates majoring in culinary studies.

First Year Undergraduate Students' Difficulties with Ball-and-stick Molecular Models

  • Previous studies show that students have difficulties in understanding and using molecular visualization tools. This study focuses on the ways in which first year chemistry undergraduates use ball-and-stick molecular models to explain the concept of addition reaction and the difficulties that they face using the models. Video recordings of interviews with undergraduates manipulating ball-and-stick models to solve problems related to reaction mechanisms are analysed to determine if they are able to elucidate their understanding with use of models. The results showed that students have difficulties with viewing the ball-and-stick models from the proper perspective and understanding the relationship between the various structures that they have created using the models. They also find the use of ball-and-stick models tedious and prefer drawing molecular structures on paper to explain their ideas. Implications for the teaching using ball-and-stick molecular models are discussed.

보건계열과 비보건계열 대학생들의 AIDS에 대한 지식, 태도에 관한 연구 (A study on knowledge and attitude toward AIDS in undergraduates for the health-related department and the health-unrelated department)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to arrange basic data necessary for education of AIDS and to prevent AIDS on undergraduates' knowledge or attitude toward AIDS. Methods : A self-administered questionnaire survey was used among 350 undergraduates in some of Jeonbuk and Gyeongnam area from September 9, 2009 to December 10, 2009 and then obtained the following results. Results : 1. Information route on AIDS was indicated to be higher in order of school education with 37.1% and TV & newspaper with 31.5% as for the health-related department. The health-unrelated department was indicated to be the highest in TV & newspaper with 67 people(43.8%), and had statistically significant difference(p<0.01). 2. The whole knowledge score on AIDS was indicated to be $12.72{\pm}2.67$ for the health-related department, resulting having been higher than the health-unrelated department with $11.84{\pm}3.30$. There was significant difference(p<0.01). The attitude score on AIDS was indicated to be $4.85{\pm}1.67$ for the health-related department, resulting having been higher than the health-unrelated department with $4.38{\pm}1.58$. There was significant difference(p<0.01). 3. Knowledge and attitude toward general AIDS stood at r=.112(p<0.05), thereby having had positive correlation. Knowledge and attitude toward AIDS infection stood at r=-.220(p<0.01), thereby having had negative correlation. Relationship between the whole knowledge and attitude toward AIDS stood at r=-.105(p<0.05), thereby having had negative correlation. Conclusions : AIDS is exponentially increasing in the whole world and is getting more serious. Even in our country, it is the tendency that the infected are gradually increasing. Health care of AIDS, which is impossible to be fully recovered and has no vaccine, is preferential to prevent infection. A continuous and efficient preventive education program is thought to be necessary for straightening wrong knowledge and prejudice on this by grasping right knowledge and attitude toward AIDS.

대학생의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교과목 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Developing Communication Courses to Enhance Undergraduates' Core Competence)

  • 최근 기술의 발전과 함께 문화 간 융합이 이루어지는 정보사회화 흐름 속에서 커뮤니케이션 역량의 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있다. 이에 각 대학에서 커뮤니케이션 역량을 경쟁력 있는 인재양성에 있어 꼭 필요한 핵심역량의 하나로 간주하고 이와 관련된 교육과정의 개설과 운영을 위해 노력하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 핵심역량 강화를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교과목 개발에 관한 과정과 구체적인 콘텐츠를 제시하고 있다. 커뮤니케이션 교과목에 관한 콘텐츠에는 강의개요, 강의목표, 강의방법, 성적 평가방법, 주차별 학습주제, 학습목표, 학습내용 등이 포함되어 있다. 본 연구는 대학생들이 커뮤니케이션에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 커뮤니케이션 능력을 효과적으로 배양하여 대학생활을 하는데 있어 핵심역량을 더욱 향상시킬 수 있는 토대를 제공할 것이다. 또한 본 연구는 대학 및 사회에서 갖추어야 할 구성원의 핵심역량으로 가장 우선시 되고 있는 커뮤니케이션 역량에 대한 체계적 교육을 통해 사회적 가치를 창출할 수 있는 유능한 인재양성의 장을 마련해 줄 것이다.

인터넷 환경에서 대학생의 라이프스타일 특성에 따른 스마트폰 중독성향 비교 (Comparison on Smartphone Addiction Tendencies According to the Lifestyle Characteristics of Undergraduates on Internet Environment)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 라이프스타일 특성에 따른 세분집단 간 스마트폰 중독성향을 통합적으로 비교연구하고자 하였다. 실증분석결과 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생들의 라이프스타일은 '경제지향형', '적극적 활동형', '유행추구형', '자아신뢰형', '물질지향형', '자유추구형' 등의 여섯 가지 요인으로 도출되었다. 둘째, 여섯 개의 요인들을 기초로 집단을 유형화 한 결과 '유행추구형 집단', '자아신뢰형 집단', '적극적 자아신뢰 물질추구형집단'으로 분류되었다. 셋째, 각 세분집단별 스마트폰 중독에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 대체로 '유행추구형 집단'이 스마트폰 중독성향이 다른 집단에 비해 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 최근 스마트폰의 과도한 사용으로 스마트폰 중독이 사회적으로나 건강측면에서 여러 가지 문제가 되고 있는 상황에서 그 문제점을 해결하는데 기초적인 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
