Bayesian HMM 기반의 건강 상태 분류 및 예측 (Health State Clustering and Prediction Based on Bayesian HMM)

  • 본 논문은 계층적 디리슐레 과정(HDP)과 은닉 마르코프 모형(HMM)이 결합된 베이스 통계학적 방법과 HMM의 상태 지속 정보를 이용한 건강 상태 예측 방법을 제안한다. HDP-HMM은 베이스 방법의 HMM 확장 모형으로서 건강의 동적 특성을 고려하여 불확실하고 가늠하기조차도 어려운 건강 상태의 수를 추정할 수 있게 해준다. 모의 데이터와 실제 건건 검진 데이터를 이용한 시험을 통하여 흥미 있는 행동 특성을 볼 수 있었으며 최대 5년까지로 제한한 미래 예측도 충분한 가능함을 확인하였다. 미래는 불확실하며 예측 문제는 본질적으로 어렵다. 그러나 본 연구의 실험 결과로 동적인 문맥 하에서 다중 후보 가설을 제시함으로서 실용 가능한 건강상태의 장기 예측이 가능하다는 것을 읽을 수 있었다.

퍼지이론을 적용한 불확실성이 존재하는 조류충돌 해석 (Fuzzy Uncertainty Analysis of the Bird Strike Simulation)

  • 위그선(WIG: Wing In Ground effect)은 해수면상의 저고도에서 운영되기 때문에 조류충돌에 쉽게 노출될 수 있으며 특히 리딩에지(Leading Edge)는 충돌가능성이 높기 때문에 조류충돌에 대한 구조적 안정성 검증과정이 반드시 필요하다. 이러한 항공기에 대한 조류충돌은 매우 복잡한 현상중의 하나로 다양하고 불확실한 파라메터들이 존재한다. 조류충돌에 대한 해석과정에 있어서 불확실성이 존재하는 파라메터들이 충돌 해석결과에 미치는 영향력을 분석하기 위해 퍼지이론을 적용한 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 불확실한 파라메터들이 갖는 조류충돌에 대한 영향력은 비선형 충돌해석 프로그램인 LS-DYNA 3D를 사용하여 해석하였으며 조류충돌 현상에 존재하는 다양하고 불확실한 파라메터들은 퍼지숫자(Fuzzy number)와 멤버십 함수(Membership function)로 표현하여 퍼지연산 및 변환기법(Transformation method)을 통해 해석과정에 적용하였다. 결론적으로 불확실성이 존재하는 파라메터들이 조류충돌 현상에 미치는 영향력을 퍼지 연산을 통해 수치적으로 평가하였다.

  • Technological encroachment provides human operators with flood of information that must be analyzed to understand the environment and make judgments that lead to strategic actions. Further, the environment is not static and therefore uncertain, changing its aspect dynamically. Complexity accompanied with its dynamics imposes substantial difficulty to human operators' task. Criticality of having situational understanding becomes more important than ever. Situationalunderstanding requires the human operators possessing tacit knowledge in order for them to make the sense out of the situation while interacting with information from many heterogeneous sources, the notion of sensemaking. Sensemaking refers to the process of developing mental framework to assemble pieces of information representing different aspects of the environment that can be used to develop one's own actionable knowledge to implement their judgments in the uncertain environment. Therefore, judgment process and performance is a key component of sensemaking process. Among many judgment and decision making models, the lens model with its extension can be utilized to partially describe the judgmental aspect of sensemaking. One of the lens model parameters, unmodeled knowledge, can be a corresponding quantitative measure for the tacit knowledge that plays an important role in sensemaking. In this paper, a comprehensive literature for sensemaking is provided to formally define the notion of sensemaking in the military domain. Also, it is proposed that there is a crucial link between the sensemaking and human judgment process and performance from the lens model perspective. Potential implications for experimental framework are also proposed.

다성분 에어로졸계의 동특성 묘사를 위한 전산 코드의 개발 -불확실성 및 민감도 해석- (Development of Computer Code for Simulation of Multicomponent Aerosol Dynamics -Uncertainty and Sensitivity Analysis-)

  • 중대사고시 LMFBR의 에어로졸(aerosol) 동특성을 살피기 위해 전산코드인 MCAD (Multicomponent Aerosol Dynamics)가 개발되었다. 사고경과에 따른 두 방사능원의 상대적인 충돌확률을 적용하여 에어로졸계를 모사할 수 있다. Brownian 확산과 중력작용에 의한 결합 및 제거과정을 고려했으며, 입자형태를 묘사하기 위해 밀도보정과 형태요소(shape factor)를 동시에 고려하였다. ORNL의 NSPP-300 계열 실험자료와 기존의 코드를MCAD의 입증에 이용하였다. 그 결과 MCAD의 계산치와 실험치 및 기존의 코드 계산값이 일치함을 보여준다. 여러 입력자료의 불화실한 값들을 정의하고, 그들값의 한계로 설정하기 위하여 불확실성 및 민감도해석을 수행하였다. 14개의 입력자료를 선택하여 실험계획법과 Latin hypercube sampling에 의한 입력자료를 조합하여 그 회귀 (regression) 정도를 반응표면 계획법(Response surface method)에 의해 구하였다. 각 변수들의 중요성 및 시간경과에 따른 그들의 상대적인 등위를 결정하기 위하여 단계식 회귀방법 (Stepwise regression method)을 고려했다. LHS에 의한 회귀모형에 Monte Carlo Method를 적용하여 계산값 및 변수들에의 신뢰도를 향상시켰다.

Robot Motion Regeneration based on Independent Arm Control System Design Method

  • In robot industries, the request to obtain a high efficiency and accurately controlled electric actuator has been growing. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of electric actuators is significantly affected by the presence of factors such as nonlinearity, uncertain disturbance and unknown dynamics. Therefore, it makes difficult to derive an exact mathematical model of the controlled system. In this paper, a new method for easily recognizing and regenerating robot motions used in small size industries such as painting and welding parts is proposed. Instead of modeling the entire dynamic motion of the robot system, this method is based on the procedure of modeling and controller design for every arm individually. The proposed method does not require complex model and control system such that it gives easy working process to the small size industries. Based on this fact, in this research, the model and PID controller for every arm of the 3 DOF robot system are obtained separately. Some experimental results are implemented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Robust Adaptive Wavelet-Neural-Network Sliding-Mode Speed Control for a DSP-Based PMSM Drive System

  • In this paper, an intelligent sliding-mode speed controller for achieving favorable decoupling control and high precision speed tracking performance of permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives is proposed. The intelligent controller consists of a sliding-mode controller (SMC) in the speed feed-back loop in addition to an on-line trained wavelet-neural-network controller (WNNC) connected in parallel with the SMC to construct a robust wavelet-neural-network controller (RWNNC). The RWNNC combines the merits of a SMC with the robust characteristics and a WNNC, which combines artificial neural networks for their online learning ability and wavelet decomposition for its identification ability. Theoretical analyses of both SMC and WNNC speed controllers are developed. The WNN is utilized to predict the uncertain system dynamics to relax the requirement of uncertainty bound in the design of a SMC. A computer simulation is developed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed intelligent sliding mode speed controller. An experimental system is established to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control system. All of the control algorithms are implemented on a TMS320C31 DSP-based control computer. The simulated and experimental results confirm that the proposed RWNNC grants robust performance and precise response regardless of load disturbances and PMSM parameter uncertainties.

신경회로망 보상기를 이용한 무인헬리콥터의 비선형적응제어 (Nonlinear Adaptive Control of Unmanned Helicopter Using Neural Networks Compensator)

  • PD 제어기 기반으로 설계된 무인헬리콥터의 내부루프 제어기의 성능을 향상시키기 위 하여 한 개의 신경회로망이 적용되었다. 오차방정식의 응답특성 기반으로 설계된 PD 제어기는 운동모델의 비선형성에 의해 성능이 저하된다. 이러한 비선형성은 운동모델로부터 변형된 운동 역변환 모델(Modified Dynamic Inversion Model, MDIM)로 분리되었고 신경회로망의 출력에 의해 보상되었다. 신경회로망의 학습에는 제어기 안정성 보장을 위하여 리야프노프의 직접방법(Lyapunov's direct method)으로부터 유도된 온라인 가중치 적응법칙이 이용되었다. 신경회로망에 의한 PD제어기의 성능향상은 비선형성을 갖고 있는 무인헬리콥터의 수치시뮬레이션 결과로 보였다.

Dynamic Modeling of Building Services Projects: A Simulation Model for Real-Life Hospital Project

  • All infrastructure projects are said to be inter-dependent, uncertain and labour-intensive in nature. There is no exception for building services sub sector. For a real time project such as 'The construction, extension and refurbishment of Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital at Tirupathy, India with total area of 45,000 square feet at an estimated cost of 1100 million rupees, a generic process model is developed to simulate the effect of set of identified variables on construction project. The 'Stocks and Flows' of dynamic model affords relevant insights to project managers, who apply this knowledge when designing better performance through more appropriate project planning. It is concluded from the model-based approach that building services works can be improved through specific better focussed managerial efforts, such as an increasing coordination effectiveness at the planning stage, clarifying prerequisite conditions prior to installations. Otherwise, pending works arising from work clashes can lead to knock-on effects resulting in productivity constraints and pressures, as well as more rework and demolition. Current study reveals that the model enables deep insight into various interdependent processes, their by improving construction performance levels, by addressing the dynamics of design errors and defective works, and recovering delayed schedule.

외란 관측기에 기반을 둔 힘 추정기 설계 (Design of Force Estimator Based on Disturbance Observer)

  • In this paper, a force estimation method is proposed for force control without force sensor. For this , a disturbance observer is applied to each joint of an {{{{ { n}_{ } }}}} degrees of freedom manipulator to obtain a simple equivalent robot dynamics(SERD) being represented as an n independent double integrator system. To estimate the output of disturbance observer due to internal torque, the disturbance observer output estimator(DOOE) is designed, where uncertain parameters of the robot manipulator are adjusted by the gradient method to minimize the performance index which is defined as the quadratic form of the error signal between the output of disturbance observer and that of DOOE. when the external force is exerted, the external force is estimated by the difference between the output of disturbance observer and DOOE, since output of disturbance observer includes the external torque signal as well as the internal torque estimated by the output of DOOE. And then, a force controller is designed for force feedback control employing the estimated force signal. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed force estimation method, several numerical examples and experimental results are illustrated for the 2-axis direct drive robot manipulator.

화재 열발생률 입력 불확실도에 대한 FDS 결과의 민감도 분석 (Sensitivity Analysis of FDS Results for the Input Uncertainty of Fire Heat Release Rate)

  • A sensitivity analysis of FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator) results for the input uncertainty of heat release rate (Q) which might be the most influencing parameter to fire behaviors was performed. The calculated results were compared with experimental data obtained by the OECD/NEA PRISME project. The sensitivity of FDS results with the change in Q was also compared with the empirical correlations suggested in previous literature. As a result, the change in the specified Q led to the different dependence of major quantities such as temperature and species concentrations for the over- and under-ventilated fire conditions, respectively. It was also found that the sensitivity of major quantities to uncertain value of Q showed the significant difference in results obtained using the previous empirical correlations.
