The emotion and culture of an age are reflected through several mediums. The special quality and generality are discovered through household utensils used in everyday life specially. This paper was intended as proceeding study for brand development with national empathic relationship. In this article, we were here concerned with symbolism and features for stories of traditional pattern on ancestral common household utensils, and considered about development possibility by brand of tradition pattern. As analysis for symbolism of traditional pattern, re-sorting and classifying pattern, meaning, symbol and stories of pattern based on 'Blessing notion' were set. It was found from the analysis that meaning and symbol of traditional pattern were set up and stories for them were excerpted. This study defines tradition pattern classified based on 'Blessing notion' as '8 Blessing pattern', and investigated development possibility and derivative value of it. We discovered through this study that 'Blessing patterns' function as communicator, have 4 abilities in sympathy with brand paradigm, and have 6 elements of brand identity. Furthermore, 'Blessing Patierns' have some derivative functions; cognitive intension, expression, loyalty, differentiation and symbol. This research will become basis of study for brand development having 'Empathic relationship' and foundation of 'Blessing brand' that is available to be umbrella and super brand. A further direction of this study will be to make 'Blessing brand series' and to create culture of it. We hope Korean brand market goes a step further through our studies

This study was performed to analyze the occupational health nursing of support-project of health management skill for small-scale industries. The 2 subject centers were under the umbrella of Korean Industrial Health Association and data collection period was 2weeks from September 1 to 13. 1997 and time and motion study method was used. Data was handled by SPSS win 7.5 program. results were worked out number. percentage. F-value. (1) The weekly time spending of occupational health nurses was distributed into indoor service 46.9%, outdoor service 26.6%, movement 26.5%. The mean visiting times were 2-3 times per week. and spending time was about 1 hour per industry. (2) There are statistically significant difference among the distribution of time spending according to industrial works(F=23.08. p=.000). and the special education for occupational disease prevention takes the most mean time. (3) There were statistically significant difference among the spending time for the health coach of occupational health nurses(F=188.79. p=.000). and the activity time for workers (58.4%) was more than that of for monitors(41.6%). The frequency of health coachs were 155 times for monitors during two weeks. but health coach for worker was 87 times. As a results. the contents of health coach for workers was proved to take more time than that for monitors. Perhaps we think that monitors has limitation for health management. therefore we should be consider flexible management of visiting time and health coach guidelines for occupational health nurses. (4) There were statistically significant differences among the distribution of time spending according to health coach methods for industrial health nurses(F=66.31. p=.000). The most frequent method of all was guide transmission. 159 times(65.7%), and the mean spending time for instruction was 19.78 min. the longest time. Our suggestion for occupational health nursing of support-project of health management skill for small-scale industry is that the need of each industry is very complex because of various conditions. therefore need assessment for industries should be conducted professionally. And occupational health nurses should apply occupational health nursing process autonomously. and their activities be guaranted by the guideline
Today, knowledge itself has become a resource which must be protected by the pertinent community of its contributors and users, from being manipulated or distorted by third-party players. The preservation of knowledge in relationship to the cultural context of its origins, has been recognized by international organizations intent on maintaining authentic voice and perspective. Globally, the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) organizes the annual IGC (Intergovernmental Committee) meeting to address various issues associated with each country's utilization of intellectual and bio source property. Korean Medicine is the official name for the traditional medicine that has been inherited from the cultures of the Korean Peninsula. It is one of the four practices of East Asian Medicine including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from China, Kampo Medicine of Japan, and Sino-Vietnamese Medicine in Vietnam. As a cultural treasure representing centuries of evolving knowledge, Korean Medicine is protected under intellectual property rights afforded by WIPO, and must be understood in relationship to, and distinct from, TCM. It is understood that China has a strong political purpose to claim all the traditional medicines of the East Asian region under the name of TCM, including Korean Medicine. In fact TCM was authorized as the representative name for all East Asian medicine by decisions made by the ISO (International Standard Organization) in 2015. This paper proposes a pilot study on how to protect the intellectual property of Korean Medicine from efforts by China to claim it under the umbrella of TCM. Using the Uibang Yuchui (醫方類聚, Classified Collection of Medical Formulas) this paper suggests establishing a Database of UBYC, which was published in 1477 by the Joseon Korea government. UBYC was the reorganized version of contemporary East Asian medical sources, and has already hundreds of year's rich indigenous and culturally specific medical history of Korea, from which Korean Medicine has been built.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of difficult endotracheal intubation education in the 119 rescue services. The subjects in this study were 60 members of the 119 rescue services that was under the umbrella of the Fire Service Headquarters of J province. A SPSS 14.0 program was utilized to find out the effect of tough tracheal intubation education on their relevant knowledge, self-confidence, academic self-efficacy and technical Performance in consideration of general characteristics. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. They showed a significant improvement in all the knowledge, self-confidence, academic self-efficacy and technical Performance after they received that education. 2. As for connections between general characteristics and knowledge before and after that education, there were significant differences in their knowledge according to gender and career of working in the hospital, and their rank and career of working in the hospital made a significant differences to their self-confidence. Their academic self-efficacy significantly differed with rank, career of working in the hospital and academic credential. There were significant gaps among them technical Performance Case 1 according to career of working in the 119 rescue services, and technical Performance Case 2 significantly varied with age and academic credential. There were significant gaps in technical Performance Case 3 according to career of working in the 119 rescue services and career of working in the hospital after that education was provided, and technical Performance Case 4 significantly varied with age and rank before and after the education was conducted. In conclusion, the kind of education programs that aim at stirring up the interest of the 119 rescue services in advanced airway and helping the members learn about tracheal intubation accurately with confidence is urgently required.

Auxiliary support systems such as the reinforced protective umbrella method have been applied before tunnel excavation to increase ground stiffness and to prevent the large deformation. However, determination procedure of geotechnical parameters along the construction sequence contains various errors. This study suggests a method to characterize the time-dependent behavior of pre-reinforced zones around the tunnel using elastic waves. Experimental results show that shear strength as well as elastic wave velocities increase with the curing time. Shear strength and strength parameters can be uniquely correlated to elastic wave velocities. Obtained results from the laboratory tests are applied to numerical simulation of tunnel considering its construction sequences. Based on numerical analysis, initial installation part of pre-reinforcement and portal of tunnel are critical for tunnel stability. Result of the time-dependent condition is similar to the results of for $1{\sim}2$ days of the constant time conditions. Finally, suggested simple analysis method combining experimental and numerical procedure which considering time-dependent behavior of pre-reinforced zone on tunnel would provide reliable and reasonable design and analysis for tunnel.
This study is focused on the analysis of tunnel behavior to estimate the stability on tunnel design. An estimation method was proposed as a hybrid consideration, which contains the displacement analysis by 3D numerical simulation, the maximum displacement obtained after field measurement, and an assessment of tunnel stability using a deformation analysis proposed by Sakurai(1988, 1997). The points of case study by Sakurai(1988, 1997) were replotted considering his analysis. From the new analysis of the tunnel case study, the trend line for analyzed points is analogized, which curve is divided into stable, unstable and failure zone. To evaluate the estimation method, a special shape of railway tunnel was selected, which are the Inchon international airport rail way connected to subway line 9 in Gimpo, Korea. The point s of upper and below track on the Inchon international airport rail way were satisfied to the stability of tunnel after reinforcing. Also the points shows the higher apparent Young's modulus, which resulted from improvement on shear strength by the micro silica grouting and the supporting of umbrella method. Therefore, if new analysis used, proper tunnel reinforcing method could be selected according to tunnel strain and geological property.
This study aimed to explore the direction and possibility of development of the integrated curriculum for the Gifted students in the discipline-centered curriculum perspective. To this end, the study analysed the Ontario interdisciplinary curriculum based on a Drake's Integration Model which is typical model of the discipline-centered curriculum and explored the applicability to Science Gifted Academy in Korea. Through showing the possibility of enrichment on the selected majors, integration with other disciplines and solving the future problems by the integrated curriculum centered on 'Big Idea', the Ontario interdisciplinary curriculum gave suggestions of curriculum integration within or through individual research and integrated curriculum for the Gifted. The application of the Ontario's "Introduction to Information studies" to "Information Science" in Science Gifted Academy in Korea could be obtained the conclusion that the Drake's Integration model is applied to the Gifted by the individualization of the navigation network, KDB(Knowledge-Do-Be) umbrella, and the final interdisciplinary task. From this result, we could suggest that the development of integrated curriculum for the Gifted should be considered the clarity of learning objectives for the Gifted, the plan of evaluation to demonstrate big understanding and big idea, the integration with other disciplines or real-world problem, as well as the need of teachers council for the integrated curriculum. This study is expected to be contribute to development of the integrated curriculum model for the gifted based on the their characteristics and to be utilized in Science Gifted Academy.
We surveyed the physiological disorders of fruit vegetables grown in the greenhouse in Kyungbuk province in 1998. Greenhouses used for cultivation were mostly single or multi-span iron pipe houses covered with polyethylene film. Single span greenhouses were used for strawberry, oriental melon and watermelon. Fifty six percent of the surveyed farms was a mono-cropping system for oriental melon and tomato. There were greenhouses used for successive cultivation for 10 years or more for strawberry and oriental melon in Koryeong and Seongju. Varieties of fruit vegetables cultivated were diverse, especially in cucumber and watermelon. In strawberry, malformed fruits were observed most frequently in March and the small fruits at late harvest period. Leaf chlorosis, stunt plants and runner outbreak were also found during the growing season. In tomato, occurrence of malformed fruits was severe from March to May, and occurrence of cracked fruits and blossom- end rot was also severe in October and November. The self topping and abnormal stem in tomato were problem in hydroponic cultures in August and November, respectively. Malformed cucumber fruits, such as curved, club shaped, irregular shaped and narrow necked, occurred at late season. Umbrella-shaped leaf in cucumber in summer were caused by calcium deficiency. Most serious disorders were fermented and malformed fruits occurring from March to May in oriental melon, and cracked fruits occurring from April to May in watermelon. At late growing stage of melons the leaf chlorosis occurred with complex symptoms of leaf disease. Growers had little knowledge on physiological disorders, and also on diagnose and measures to cure the disorders. Most growers pointed out that poor soil environment and temperature management in the greenhouse as the main causes of physiological disorders.

This study analyzed the MMPI (Minnesota Multiphashic Personality Inventory), VAS (Visual Analogue Scale), cervical and lumbar curvature (Cervical angle, Ishihara Index, Lumbar angle, Ferguson angle) and satisfaction score of patient of traffic accident. About 59 cases of patients admitted to the Korean Medicine hospital, MMPI and pain levels (VAS) cervical and lumbar curvature (Cervical angle, Ishihara Index, lumbar angle, Ferguson angle) and satisfaction score were measured and statistically analyzed. Depending on the type of accident divided into two groups of In car TA and Out car TA. After hospitalization, patient's pain index was improved as a whole. Pain index and evaluation of the cervical and lumbar curvature, according to the accident types, the difference was not statistically significant. In the analysis of the MMPI validity scales, In car TA group was analyzed by 'V-shaped', Out car TA group was analyzed by umbrella- shaped, 'inverted V-shaped'. Clinical scales of out car TA group were analyzed by 3-1 profile compared to the In car TA group. Results of multiple regression analysis showed no association between factors and MMPI scales. In the case of a traffic accident patients, damage to the body, as well as emotional and psychological factors are thought to affect the condition or prognosis of patients. In the future, for the management and treatment of these parts will be needed to complement the academic or institutional.

As socio-economic paradigms have been moving towards the knowledge-based capitalism from the industrial capitalism, it is obvious that research on industrial agglomeration and regional innovation has been explosively increased. However, there is a contradictory tendency that the terms and concepts, which are related to industrial agglomeration, have became less clear and more fuzzy. In this sense, this paper attempts to tackle and reconsider the concept, typology and theories of agglomeration and (or) cluster in economic geography. The main claims are as follows. Firstly, the terms and concepts related to industrial agglomeration and cluster need to be clear. It seems to be that cluster is received as an umbrella concept of agglomerations all-embracing the varieties of a geographical concentration of industry. However, the authors claim that the cluster concept should be part of the diverse types of industrial agglomeration. Secondly, the tendency of a less clear definition on agglomeration and cluster could make it difficult to identify the types of agglomeration being in the forms of diversity. Such a tendency would result in a misguided understanding and interpretation of a typology of agglomeration. Finally and most importantly, as perspectives or theories that are associated with industrial agglomeration and cluster show increasingly a propensity of convergence, it is problematic that related theories and perspectives lose their own identity and distinctiveness.
