  • Internet of Things(IoT) using a variety of technologies in combination provides a convenient, elevated range of services to users. IoT has been noted in combining the fields of medical service in particular. However, with the advent and growing of IoT, the more medical services are evolving, security problems caused by leakage of personal health information will become more serious. U-Health and medical devices, which deal mainly the personal health information, is required to a high level of privacy and security of health information. Therefore, the introduction of the IoT in the healthcare industry requires the medical information security as a prerequisite. This study analyzes security status and trend of IoT, personal medical information leakage cases, the health information protection measures in accordance with the life cycle of medical information, and the standardized protection technologies.

  • Researches on U-Healthcare service integrating medical information and IT technologies are actively conducted. U-Healthcare service is the next generation's medical paradigm that ensures conveniences to many users so that the society recognizes the importance and attempts for commercialization through various business model are performed. To form such U-Healthcare service market safely, various policies on the social structure should be established through the standard and the medical law to systemize of the medical information led by the governmen. Especially, the government's security policy to ensure the safety for the government leading visualization of U-Healthcare should be firmly established. Firstly, this paper presents U-healthcare Service and policy guideline. Secondly, it analyzes security threatening factors for the safe U-Healthcare service. By classifying the analyzed security threatening factors based on three major elements of the security, Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of security policy for each element is proposed.

  • RFID/USN core technologies for ubiquitous computing, It is possible to use variety of sensors, direct processors, and wireless network technology that easily collect the actual physical environment and can monitor information remotely. Especially the healthcare industry and services combined with U-Healthcare that have international competitiveness in the medical field. But the USN, standard management system of RFID such as EPCglobal architecture framework, the lack of interoperability issues and the global sensor network implementation. In this paper, a system for managing sensor nodes of the USN, USN of SIP-based management system (UMS) is proposed. UMS support Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), provide session management and mobility capabilities, that is based on Internet standard protocol. UMS architecture of the existing SIP architecture, added USN User Agent (UUA) and the USN Name Server (UNS) that the location of sensor nodes should be possible to trace. UUA on behalf of the limited capacity of the location of the sensor nodes to perform the registration process, UNS to track the location of the sensor nodes to provide name resolution services. The proposed management system has the advantage of internet applications such as Web services interoperability and easy to recycle existing resources with other SIP-based because it uses the Internet standard protocol SIP. In this paper we propose is based on the UMS blood temperature management system is verified through the scenario.

  • Ubiquitous health care system, which is one of the developing solution technologies of IT, BT and NT, could give us new medical environments in future. Implementing health information systems can be complex, expensive and frustrating. Healthcare professionals seeking to acquire or upgrade systems do not have a convenient, reliable way of specifying a level of adherence to communication standards sufficient to achieve truly efficient interoperability. Great progress has been made in establishing such standards-DICOM, IHE and HL7, notably, are now highly advanced. IHE has defined a common framework to deliver the basic interoperability needed for local and regional health information networks. It has developed a foundational set of standards-based integration profiles for information exchange with three interrelated efforts. HL7 is one of several ANSI-accredited Standards Developing Organizations operating in the healthcare arena. Most SDOs produce standards (protocols) for a particular healthcare domain such as pharmacy, medical devices, imaging or insurance transactions. HL7's domain is clinical and administrative data. HL7 is an international community of healthcare subject matter experts and information scientists collaborating to create standards for the exchange, management and integration of electronic healthcare information. The ASTM specification for Continuity of Care Record was developed by subcommittee E31.28 on electronic health records, which includes clinicians, provider institutions, administrators, patient advocates, vendors, and health industry. In this paper, there are suggestions that provide a test bed, demonstration and specification of how standards such a IHE, HL7, ASTM can be used to provide an integrated environment.
