감귤박을 이용한 활성탄 제조에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구에서는 농업폐기물인 감귤박의 효율적인 재활용 방안으로 고부가가치 제품인 활성탄을 제조하여 이용하는 가능성에 대하여 조사한 결과, 감귤박 폐액으로부터 건조한 시료의 조성은 대부분이 탄수화물로 구성되어 있으며, 또한 이는 미생물, 농약 및 중금속에 오염되지 않은 순수한 천연 재료로 구성되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 탄화공정 및 활성화공정을 통해 제조된 활성탄의 요오드 흡착능이 KS 규격 중 1급(활성탄 1,100 mg/g 이상)보다 높은 값으로 나타나 공업용 활성탄으로의 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

  • This paper reviews some relevant criteria for the evaluation of ride quality of agricultural tractors. Although there still exist many deficiences and shortcomings, ISO 2631 'Guide for the evaluation of human exposure to whole body vibration' may be the most pertinent criterion to the ride quality evaluation of tractors. The effects of ride vibrations on the human health and performance were also reviewed and summarized in general terms.

  • New design of a bevameter was attempted to that it can be not only attached to and powered by the tractor hydraulic control system, but is equipped with a data acquisition system using a microcomputer. Results of field tests of the new design showed that it has a good performance and practical applicability to the measurements of pressure-sinkage and shear stress-displacement relations from which toil parameters of the Bekker theory can be evaluated.

  • Computer simulation was carried out to predict the motion and overturns of power tiller-trailer system this system when traveing over an obstacle on inclined planes. To estimate the effects of design factors (mass center of main body and wheel base), ground factors (ground inclination and height of obstacle), and operation factors (traveling velocity) on the sideways overturn, the motion of power tiller-trailer system was simulated as the factors were varied with five different levels.

  • A mathematical model was developed to predict traction forces of rigid wheels. The modeling was based on the energy principle that the total energy delivered to a driving wheel is equal to the works done by the useful traction force and motion resistance of that wheel. The effect of the wheel slippage was also included in the modeling. Verification of the proposed model was provided by comparing the tractive coefficients predicted by the model to those obtained experimentally at the in-door soil bin tests. The model predictions were found to be a reasonable agreement with the experimental results.

  • Recently, in the field of Smart Grid, Smart Home Network, Ubiquitous Computing, etc. we have continued to study Smart Information Monitoring Technology(SIMT) which exchange, control and monitor information collected and processed by need in real-time and two-way. In this paper, we understand application products or recent trends of SIMT for Energy, U-Farm, Vehicle Information and Home Network. Specially, we explain Google PowerMeter which exchange information with Smart Meter of core part of the smart grid at real-time, Real-time Monitoring System(RMS) for U-Farm, RMS for vehicle status Information. we subscribe Smart Information Monitoring Technology application based on ZigBee of low price, low power or related work. Finally we subscribe actual proof construction situation of Jesu for smart grid.

Predicting the Soluble Solids of Apples by Near Infrared Spectroscopy (I) - Multiple Linear Regression Models - (근적외선을 이용한 사과의 당도예측 (I) - 다중회귀모델 -)

  • The MLR(Multiple Linear Regression) models to estimate soluble solids content non-destructively were presented to make a selection of optimal photosensor utilized to measure the soluble solids content of apples. Visible and NIR absorbance in the 400 to 2498 nanometer(nm) wavelength region, soluble solids content(sugar content), hardness, and weight were measured for 400 apples(gala). Spectrophotometer with fiber optic probe was utilized for spectrum measurement and digital refractometer was used for soluble solids content. Correlation between absorbance spectrum and soluble solids content was analyzed to pick out the optimal wavelengths and to develop corresponding prediction model by means of MLR. For the coefficient of determination($R^2$) to be over 0.92, the MLR models out of the original absorbance were built based on 7 wavelengths of 992, 904, 1096, 1032, 880, 824, 1048nm, and the ones of the second derivative absorbance based on 5 wavelengths of 784, 1056, 992, 808, 872nm. The best model of the second derivative absorbance spectrum had $R^2$=0.91, bias= -0.02bx, SEP=0.28bx for unknown samples.

  • The PLS(Partial Least Square) and ANN(Artificial Neural Network) were introduced to develop the soluble solids content prediction model of apples which is followed by making a subsequent selection of photosensor. For the optimal PLS model, number of factors needed for spectrum analysis were increased until the convergence of prediction residual error sum of squares. Analysis has shown that even part of the overall wavelength with no pretreatment may turn out better performing. The best PLS model was found in the 800 to 1,100nm wavelength region without pretreatment of second derivation, having $R^2$=0.9236, bias= -0.0198bx, SEP=0.2527bx for unknown samples. On the other hand, for the ANN model the second derivation led to higher performance. On partial range of 800 to 1,100nm wavelengh region, prediction model with second derivation for unknown samples reached $R^2$=0.9177, SEP=0.2903bx in contrast to $R^2$=0.7507, SEP =0.4622bx without pretreatment.
