This study conducts an empirical analysis using AMOS and PASW of the effect for the management innovation infra-especially, mission statement and strategy and HRM practices to organizational performance. The study confirms that management innovation infra has an influence on the HRM practices. It partly confirms the effect of HRM practices on the relationship between organizational performance-turn over rate.

This paper introduces a high efficiency bidirectional resonant converter using an additional LC auxiliary circuit for dcdistribution applications. The LC auxiliary circuit operates as a variable inductor and the additional LC circuit helps to increase the effective magnetizing inductance, thereby reducing the turn-off and primary circulating current. A 5 kW bidirectional converter for dc-distribution system is implemented to verify the validity of the proposed method. The experimental results show the high efficiency characteristics of the proposed converter over the wide range of load in both direction of power flow. The maximum efficiency of the proposed system was 98.1 % at 3 kW.

Vertigo is one of the common symptoms that we can see often clinically. It is hallucination to motion of oneself or surroundings. Vertigo include not only simple whirling sensation but also leaning or falling down sensation. Particularly in benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV), the principal symptom is dizziness and accompanied by nausea, lightheadness, vomiting. They are induced by positional change which like shake ones head or lay down or turn over in one' s sleep. Cause of BPPV is otoconium fragments which are released from inner ear and stimulate ampulla of semicircular canal. So in treatment BPPV, we often using the Dix-hallpike maneuver that realignment otoconium fragments. A case of vertigo patient suggested BPPV who is diagnosed oriental medically as weakly dizziness showed prominent improvement by medicate Bojungikgi-tang and operate otoconium-realignmentation (improved Dix-hallpike maneuver) maneuver so we reported.

The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of arbitration in organizational performances by means of literature review. The contents of the study were theoretical studies on the role of intangible power in the organization. By mediating compliance and repulsion, it is intended to reduce conflicts and increase work commitment, which in turn will increase productivity and increase employee self-esteem, and help improve corporate image over the long term. Factors such as the contents of professional power, the content of referent power, the importance and contents of informational power as well as the importance of arbitration were studied. It is found that when arbitration is effective, it can increase work commitment and improve the productivity of the enterprise.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate financial models that can predict corporate bankruptcy with diverse studies on evaluation models. The study uses discriminant analysis, logistic model, decision tree, neural networks as analyses tools with 18 input variables as major financial factors. The study found meaningful variables such as current ratio, return on investment, ordinary income to total assets, total debt turn over rate, interest expenses to sales, net working capital to total assets and it also found that prediction performance of suggested method is a bit low compared to that in literature review. It is because the studies in the past uses the data set on the listed companies or companies audited from outside. And this study uses data on the companies whose credibility is not verified enough. Another finding is that models based on decision tree analysis and discriminant analysis showed the highest performance among many bankruptcy forecasting models.

In recent years, nonlinear dynamic models have been developed for flapping-type energy harvesting systems with a rigid wing, but not for those with a flexible wing. Thus, in this study, flexible wing designs of NACA0012 section are proposed and measurements of the forces of rigid cambered wings, which are used to estimate the performance of the designed wings, are conducted. Polar curves from the measured lift and drag coefficients show that JavaFoil estimation is much closer to the measured values than Eppler over the entire given range of angles of attack. As the camber of the rigid cambered wings is increased, both the lift and drag coefficients increase, in turn increasing the resultant forces. Moreover, the maximum resultant forces for all rigid cambered wings are achieved at the same angle of attack as the maximum lift coefficient, meaning that the lift coefficient is dominant in representations of the wing characteristics.

The Civil War is widely accepted as the single most meaningful event in American history that overcame the most fatal crisis of internal division of the nation with much success. That meaningfulness in turn glorifies the North's triumph over the South and justifies hierarchical differences between the two. Yet, as shown in the studies of Civil War literature, such glorification and justification relies too much on the North-centered historical paradigm. This essay aims to offer a way of rectifying it by examining a short story by one of the persistently obscured writers of the period: Elizabeth Stoddard. The essay follows the cue of Alice Fahs's cultural-studies methodology of using popular wartime periodicals as the main resource of the war literature, and reads Stoddard's "Sally's Choice" as one of the examples that expose the hegemonic bias inside the North-directed discourse of the time. This essay is expected to demonstrate the necessity of expanding and deepening our conception of 'literature,' 'the Civil War,' and 'Civil War literature' in an ever-flexible and ever-changeable manner.

The design of ultrasonic transducer energy processing systems requires highly reliable command featuring mechanical frequency tracking and constant velocity control of the ultrasonic transducer with an acoustic load. This paper presents a new conceptional instantaneous current resultant control base high-frequency inverter using self turn-off devices driving an electrostrictive ultrasonic transducer system and its optimum control technique, which is implemented by feed-back of the ultrasonic transducer applied voltage and instantaneous velocity of the transducer vibrating system through a Phase-Locked-Loop control scheme. The feedback voltage corresponding to instantaneous velocity is averaged over a half-period with respect to constant amplitude/constant velocity control strategy. Described are the theory of this signal detection technique and the experimental set-up.

This study aims to extensively analyze the performance of various Machine Learning (ML) techniques for predicting version to version change-proneness of source code Java files. 17 object-oriented metrics have been utilized in this work for predicting change-prone files using 31 ML techniques and the framework proposed has been implemented on various consecutive releases of two Java-based software projects available as plug-ins. 10-fold and inter-release validation methods have been employed to validate the models and statistical tests provide supplementary information regarding the reliability and significance of the results. The results of experiments conducted in this article indicate that the ML techniques perform differently under the different validation settings. The results also confirm the proficiency of the selected ML techniques in lieu of developing change-proneness prediction models which could aid the software engineers in the initial stages of software development for classifying change-prone Java files of a software, in turn aiding in the trend estimation of change-proneness over future versions.

This paper aims to examine the economic impact of the implementation of an unemployment insurance (UI) program for entrepreneurs in South Korea. Despite facing labor market risks similar to paid employees, entrepreneurs are often not eligible for UI in many countries. South Korea, where entrepreneurs represent over 20% of the workforce, is considering a design of UI for entrepreneurs, with the goal of providing coverage to this group by 2025. This study examines how the addition of UI for entrepreneurs would impact the economy using a model of entrepreneurship based on a search and matching framework. The study's findings suggest that the implementation of UI for entrepreneurs would lead to increased business closures and reduced hiring, resulting in a slack labor market, which in turn would reduce social welfare overall. However, social welfare can be improved by subsidizing UI contributions paid by entrepreneurs, which provides the greatest improvement in social welfare compared to other social protection systems such as unemployment assistance.
