Objectives : He Meng-Yao(何夢瑤), a doctor from Qing Dynasty, wrote Yi Bian(醫碥, Fundamentals of Medicine), in which he described many things related to Medical Medicine of divination (醫易). As the content includes a lot of teachings for the posterity, I have studied it. Methods : I have taken from Yi Bian(醫碥) the selections related to Medicine of divination(醫易) and explained them. Results : While accepting the principle of upholding yang and suppressing yin based on the understanding of the Book of Changes(周易) that takes a superior man for yang and a small man for yin, He Meng-Yao(何夢瑤), who thought of both yin and yang as Qi (energy), criticized the contemporary malpractice of uniformly applying the principle. In matching the five viscera to the Eight Trigrams(八卦), he put Qian and Dui Trigram(乾兌) to lung, Kan Trigram(坎卦) to kidney, Zhen and Xun Trigram(震巽) to liver, Li Trigram(離卦) to heart, and Kun and Gen Trigram(坤艮) to spleen, which is reasonable. He didn't fix the position of the vital gate and called it Fire in water(水中之火), and set great store by the role of Fire from Vital Gate(命門火) by calling it Water begetting tree(水生木) when the fire of the vital gate steams the kidney water and turns it into Qi to send it up to liver. He emphasized Water-ascending and Fire-descending(水升火降), which he said involves all five viscera. He also argued that mind runs on the principle of water-ascending and fire-descending. He thought that Qi and blood both originate from kidney, which I think is a significant suggestion. Conclusions : The criticism on the uniform application of upholding yang and suppressing yin, the combination of the five viscera and the Eight Trigrams(八卦), the belief that the Vital gate(命門) is Fire in water(水中之火), the excellent opinion on water-ascending and fire-descending, and the suggestion that Qi and blood both originate from kidney, as presented by He Meng-Yao(何夢瑤), are all theories that should be reasonably appreciated and further developed by the posterity.

This study investigated the architectural expression of Taekpungdang(澤風堂, The Pond and Wind House) built by the Neo-Confucianist Taekdang Lee Sik(澤堂 李植, 1584~1647) from the perspective of the symbolic system of the Zhōuyì(『周易』, Classic of Changes). This study examined the historical context, personal history, and construction process of Taekpungdang at the time of its creation through his collection of writings, the Taekdanggip(澤堂集). The study also estimated the original form of Taekpungdang through field surveys and historical evidence. In addition, the architectural principles and architectural expressions inherent in the Taekpungdang were derived based on the symbolic system of "taekpungdaegwa"(澤風大過) which is Lee Sik's divination and one of the 64 trigrams in the Zhōuyì. Lee Sik, who was knowledgeable in the Zhōuyì, used divination to cope with the chaotic political situation and his own misfortunes. Accordingly, He determined the direction of his life and planned the surrounding environment, architectural structure, and form of Taekpungdang based on the rules and meanings of his divination system. He embodied the architectural space of Taekpungdang with the concept of time and space inherent in the divination of "daegwa",(大過, great exceeding). In addition, he expressed the principle of the generation of palgue,(八卦, the eight trigrams for divination) and the principle of the co-prosperity of ohaeng(五行, the five elements) through the composition of walls and windows of the house. The images of Taekpungdaegwae, which are dongyo(棟撓 wood submerged in the pond) and taekmyeolmok(澤滅木, shaking pillars), were manifested in the form of buildings. Therefore, Taekpungdang can be considered a remarkable example of a building designed through the thorough utilization of the Zhōuyì divination system.

The Sambyeongudo(三變九圖) which was deducted from Cheonbu-Kyeong(天符經) is the figure about the principle of the Book of Changes in the mutual organic way, and the Five elements means the principle of Generation and the Sasang means the principle of Change, so Kugung of the concept of composing Five elements and Sasang means the principle of Generativechange, Sasangjeok-Ohaengkoan(四象的五行觀). As it is substituted to the human body, Five elements can be compared to the meridian system, Sasang can be compared to Eight extra meridians, and Kugung can be compared to Five su point Sasangjeok-Ohaengkoan. In addition, if Simpo and Samcho are compared to Cheon Ji In Samjae(天地人三才) of Trigrams, then 13 cure points can be deducted. If 13 cure points are substituted to Chilyojeongsa(七曜政事) and Moderation as another concept of Kugung, then all diseases can be cured regardless of the physical constitution and name of a disease.

In order to understand Changeologically on the meaning of FCST's TMJ (temporo-mandibular joint) treatment procedure, Yi, Shike, Bi, Gen trigrams concerning the jaw and change by treatment were analyzed from the viewpoint of semiotic context of hexagon and holistic interpretation on disease. Yi is meant by jaw but actually indicates mouth made by maxilla and mandible, and it's characters are related with nourishing by aliment and words. But when we eat and speak in the daily life, jaw does not nourish properly it's own body by bad habit or postures. For the treatment of this ill state, there needs punishment and correction symbolized with Shike. Shike has fourth nine meaning obstacles between the two strong lines in the upper and lower end, and so it has the function of mastication and get rid of the fourth nine metaphorically indicating subluxation of axis using CBA and auxiliary measures of four movement or laughing methods. Bi expresses the achievement and effects of consecutive mastication process implicating normalized manifestation of jaw and its linked spinal function. Gen symbolizes removing selfish motive or partiality in advance and reaches the best state of the saint righteously self-nourishable human being.

The object of this research is to develop the designs with aesthetics and function for making the uniforms of specialty restaurants of Korean dishes in pursuit of the image of excellent dignity and its result is as follows: As for designs, this research chose the traditional image as the basic concept and made visual Korean lines, colors, and patterns. As for lines, it made visual the curve of the eaves, the straight line of polls, and the fret of windows and doors represented in architecture and applied them, as for color tones, it chose traditional 'Obangsaek', five direction colors. As for the patterns, it symbolized 4 trigrams( Geon, Gon, Gam, and Yi), the cloud pattern, also it tried to get the formative beauty from traditional patchwork wrapping cloth and windows and doors. The expectant effects on the design of Uniform are as follows: First, it offered basic clothes for male and female employees working in the hall and suggested two kinds of skirt and pants for the latter. It tried to find out both the function of pants and the female beauty of skirts by wrapping on pants to eliminate the feeling of rejection towards the style of them, the use of which have been recognized for man only in spite of many merits of them. Second, it sought for the characteristics of shape on collar, breast-tie, and fold etc. of Korean clothes and designed clothes according to each employee's role and finally emphasized their traditional aesthetics.

Objectives : Reaserch on ophthalmology drawings in Euibangyoochui reveals the medical historic flows of the theory of ohryun-palgwak that is representative theory of ophthalmology. Methods : Ophthalmology drawings are divided into ohryun-palgwak drawings and eye disease drawings. Four picture of ophthalmology drawings in Euibangyoochui are shown in the books of suwolnobangyung, seeuidekhyobang, suyeoksinbang. Results : Ohryun drawing which describes the relationship between eyes and five viscera mentioned in lingshu. This is based on the theory of five elements. Palgwak drawing shows the combination palgwak theory and the eight trigrams of iching. Conclusions : In Korean Medicine theory of the eye, the diagnosis of eyes could be diagnosed eye disease and diseases of five viscera and six entrails. Each parts of the eye are reflected disorders in the five viscera and six entrails. Ophthalmology drawings in Euibangyoochui explains well these theories.

Sambyun(三變) is standard classification for nine palace. Through sambyun you can define new meaning of 'self' in three perspective ways. First 'self' could mean desire, emotion and memory which are ontological values. second, 'self' could mean id, ego, and superego which are practical values. Third 'self' could mean unconscious, preconscious and conscious which are epistemological values. Samjae(三才) is method that analyze things base on common features. Sa sang is method that analyze things base on difference. They both are device that searching for reason. If you put one's mind in center to observe the universe creativity of great absolute and symmetry distinction of yingyang produces jeung(情), supreme intelligence(神), and soul(魂魄). With these facts identity of the heaven(天), earth(地) and man(人) which is named samjae(三才) generates symbols of independent sasang(四象). And also, sasang generates relations between five element(五行), six energy(六氣). From ten shen(十神) relation comes seven feelings(七情) of man which creates a category of the eight trigrams(八卦) for divination and unification of nine palace(九宮). All these process are united.

Application (app) ratings are feedback provided voluntarily by users and serve as important evaluation criteria for apps. However, these ratings can often be biased owing to insufficient or missing votes. Additionally, significant differences have been observed between numeric ratings and user reviews. This study aims to predict the numeric ratings of Google apps using machine learning classifiers. It exploits numeric app ratings provided by users as training data and returns authentic mobile app ratings by analyzing user reviews. An ensemble learning model is proposed for this purpose that considers term frequency/inverse document frequency (TF/IDF) features. Three TF/IDF features, including unigrams, bigrams, and trigrams, were used. The dataset was scraped from the Google Play store, extracting data from 14 different app categories. Biased and unbiased user ratings were discriminated using TextBlob analysis to formulate the ground truth, from which the classifier prediction accuracy was then evaluated. The results demonstrate the high potential for machine learning-based classifiers to predict authentic numeric ratings based on actual user reviews.

Objective : By examining EEG status in Korean Traditional Medicine (KTM) from the viewpoint of 'form-qi theory(形氣論)', We wish to prepare for the fundamentals of applicability of KTM diagnoses to EEG. In addition, through reinterpretation of existing Western Medicine reports from the viewpoint of KTM, We tried to find out interrelationship between them. Method : In this paper, a methodology applicable to KTM diagnoses of EEG is presented from the EEG features in waveform characteristics, personalized diversity, and cognitive activity reflection. Results : Frequency bands are assigned to corresponding one of the eight trigrams in terms of yin/yang balance, which is analogous with EEG spectrum analysis mostly used in EEG quantification. The amplitude ratio of each EEG for each frequency band gives meaningful index numbers which can be used in EEG data interpretation, and every index number is named after the sixty four hexagrams. These approaches are adopted through both '4-band classification system and '6-band classification system', and applied to pre-existing reported EEG data obtained from normal adults. These analyses show that changes and distribution pattern in the index numbers are observed as a whole on both left-right line and front-back line connecting EEG measurement cephalic electrodes. And differences in distribution pattern of three index numbers deduced from '6-band classification system' are discussed according to constitution. Conclusion : The index numbers introduced here, which are the spectral power ratio for each EEG, are based on KTM yin/yang balance. These index numbers vary according to cephalic location, so its application in terms of traditional meridian theory is strongly expected. The index number distribution also shows different patterns according to constitution.

According to "Dongeuibogam(東醫寶鑑)", "the Shinnong Herb Bible(神農本草經)", "Chamdonggo(參同攷)", come to the conclusion about medical thought of "the Zhouyi Cantongxie(周易參同契)". Alchemy is a common field both on the eastern and western civilization, but a process of development is different. Ancient chinese alchemist made a study on external alchemy, but harmful consequences of external alchemy was consecutive, many scholars had turned their interest on internal alchemy which is related in human meridian biology and spirit. In the western alchemy has developed to make a study on analytic psychology and science of religion. Most importantly, the eastern and western alchemy have something in common what at the point of the perfection of self is similar, but the name is different, for example in the eastern alchemy we can be immortals and take a spiritual enlightenment with the elixir of life, in the western we can take a cure of souls as a christian. As for internal alchemy, "Cantongxie(參同契)" gives influence to the theories such as the theory of danjeon(lower part of the abdomen), evolution, aging, and life nurturing. Especially, the theory of danjeon shows such merit for studying since it is similar to triple energizers(三焦) and the theory of qi street(氣街) of oriental medicine. The study on "Cantongxie(參同契)" was achieved in Korea too, especially Chosun dynasty. "Candongkao (參同攷)" by Seo Myung-eung(徐命膺, 1716~1787) are representative. According to "Candongkao(參同攷)", Geon(乾), Gon(坤), Gam(坎), and Ri(離), the four trigrams for divination, each are affiliated with lungs, spleen, kidneys, and heart. Nowadays the study on alchemy correspond with modern trends, which are anti-aging and living without any disease. If processed mineral drugs is assured for stability, it can be used for incurable diseases such as cancer.
