  • Seismic analysis methods in use on ground structure are equivalentstatic analysis, response-displacement method and dynamic analysis etc. Equivalentstatic analysis does not considerdynamic effect, and dynamic analysis process is very complex. then 'Urbanrail transit earthquake-resistance design standard (2005.06)' is persuading that analyze by response displacement method that consider enough dynamic effect of ground structure statically. But, It is very complex and difficult to apply response-displacement method in the field. So, modified equivalentstatic analysis or pseudo static analysis that is easy to apply in the field and have rationality of design is practically used. In this study, I try to prescribe the applicable scale of structure and static analysis that have calculative effectiveness about response-displacement method by comparing and analyzing the result of each analysis method according to the scale of urban rail transit' box type concrete structure and by performing seismic analysis that apply modified equivalentstatic analysis, pseudo static analysis and response-displacement method changing the kind of ground, depth of bedrock, size of structure.

  • Concurrent engineering is considered in the 21st century product development and H&D. Moreover, advancements in IT and advanced system engineering technology enables to produce high-quality article and shorten the period of R&D. The paper propose work breakdown structure(WBS) based on the product data management(PDM), WEB based system engineering technique, to introduce and operate advanced system engineering technique. We will manage systematically all data produced in advanced urban transit system project based on the proposed WBS. Besides, we provide strategic information for improving efficiency of R&D in advanced urban transit system project. Futhermore, we manage data such as images, design drawings, documents as well as numerical data, and will establish PDM system for sharing the data.

  • A set of design factors that should be considered during rail transit system development in proposed. As the current trend in the rail transit development emphasizes its role as a medium through which the interaction between the city environment and people takes place, the factors of harmony, color, characteristics, identity, and communication should be considered in the railway design. It's important to ensure that there exist harmony between the design and the civic environment, the influence of color on people is properly considered, the car design possesses distinct characteristics, and that the sense of common identity as well as effective communication is fostered between the system and people it serves. Several cases from various countries are presented to illustrate the points raised in the paper.

  • The personal rapid transit (PRT) system is a small scale transportation system that employs a novel concept to solve the traffic congestion problem in the city area. The PRT system is a driverless on-demand system that a passenger calls a vehicle rather than waits for the vehicle. Therefore, one of the most important issues in the PRT system is how to control the vehicle with the satisfaction of the basic concept of the PRT system. In this paper a computer simulator is introduced to evaluate the vehicle. operational control algorithm of the PRT system. The. computer simulator has the commercial embedded processor boards that operate in the real time operating system and pre-designed vehicle control algorithm is coded into the processor boards. The experimental results present the effectiveness of the proposed evaluation apparatus.

  • The maintenance CALS system for car of urban transit is a part of standardization and development of urban transit system, and We have been performed the establishment of maintenance CALS system from 2001 to 2005. These 2D and 3D configuration management system are utilized in a variety of CALS system for user's convenience and safety in maintenance. In this paper, the 2D and 3D configuration system will be discussed for necessity and possibility. This system include RAMS(reliability, availability, maintainability and safety) of the vehicles shall be enhanced in the future.

  • BOM(Bill of Materials) is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. In order to evaluate the performance of proposed BOM management system, which is very important to maintenance information system of urban transit. We develop component based BOM data and rule-set to design data structure that is mutually independent and integrated efficiently. It divides data whit management interface using component technology. The component based master BOM have advantage in database size and flexibility. Flexibility is measured as the number of updating records in accordance with added new product or engineering change. In database size, component based BOM is the best. we develop master BOM management system in web environment.

  • 쌍성 중에서 관측자의 시선방향과 두 별의 공전면이 거의 일치할 경우에 두 별이 서로 식(eclipse)을 일으키며 밝기가 주기적으로 변하는 항성계를 식쌍성이라고 한다. 같은 원리로 행성이 별의 표면을 가로질러 횡단하면서 별빛을 가려 어두워지는 경우가 있는데, 이러한 방법에 의해 발견된 행성을 transit 행성이라고 한다. Transit 행성은 질량비가 매우 작은 쌍성계 (태양-목성의 경우 약 0.001)로 생각할 수 있기 때문에, 식쌍성의 분석방법을 이 행성계를 이해하기 위한 도구로 사용할 수 있다. 식쌍성 연구는 이전에 주류를 이루었던 질량, 반경, 광도 등과 같은 천문학적 기본변수의 결정연구에서 보다 정밀한 다파장 관측에 의한 특이현상의 검출과 분석 연구로 점차 변화해 가고 있다. 이 연구에서는 근접쌍성계의 여러 특이현상 중에서 광도와 궤도 공전주기 변화를 보이는 쌍성들의 최근 연구결과를 제시하고자 한다. 이와 더불어, 식쌍성의 분석방법을 활용한 쌍성계 주위를 공전하는 외계행성계 (circumbinary planetary system)의 탐색 및 transit 행성계의 물리량 도출에 대하여 논의하고자 한다.

  • In field of Urban transit safely, It must be not only secured vehicle but also every areas like power, signal, communication, track, tunnel, operating facilities. Likewise it is very important not only hardware system like vehicles, facilities but also software system like action of engine driver, duty officer. In other to secure safety of hardware, soft ware, it is very important systemic process. In Korea, Many operating companies neglect to invest in safely and ignore technical development about safety because of management. Safely was considered in subway system and many studies were accomplished about safety in subway system in advanced county like U.K, USA. Hence, in this paper, Conditions and improvement of minimum considerable hardware and software are proposed for safe operation in Urban transit.

  • Currently, the signal of the human body is measured with various methods, and a noninvasive investigation of various methods is useful diagnosis method. PTT(Pulse Transit Time) which is noninvasive investigation make use of to estimate the physiological phenomena. PTT has a latent information of cardiovascular system. So we have the experiments for analysis of the relations between PTT and physiological parameters. We examine to correlate to the physiological parameters, an age and degree of paralysis on the ultrasound therapy. The 40 patients who has a such paralysis join our experiment, and we obtain the PTT data that normal condition and states after ultrasound therapy. We study that PTT after the ultrasound therapy for patients who have a paralysis was related to an age and degree of paralysis.
