셰일가스정 천이유동 생산자료분석의 기술적 고려사항 (Technical Consideration for Production Data Analysis with Transient Flow Data on Shale Gas Well)

  • 본 연구에서는 다단계 수압파쇄와 수평시추가 적용된 셰일가스정에서 생산자료의 유동형태에 따라 적절한 분석 방법과 궁극가채량을 산출하는 기법을 결정하는 방법을 정리한 흐름도를 제안하였다. 또한 1차 천이유동만이 나타나는 현장자료에 대해 생산천이유동 분석을 수행할 때 고려해야 하는 사항들을 제안하였다. log-log 그래프와 시간제곱근 그래프 분석을 통해 생산자료의 유동 특성을 분류할 수 있고, 이 결과, 1차 천이유동만이 나타나는 생산자료는 이 유동이 종료되는 시점을 정확히 예측하여 이 시점을 기준으로 생산성을 각각 예측하여야 한다. 이 시점은 미세탄성파 탐사자료 해석을 통해 균열자극부피의 면적을 계산함으로써 산출할 수 있다. 공저압력자료나 미세탄성파 탐사자료가 없다면 셰일가스정에 적절한 경험적 방법을 활용하여 생산성을 예측할 수 있다. 생산기간이 짧은 자료는 상대적으로 생산기간이 긴 인접 생산정의 자료를 활용하여 생산기간의 적절성을 평가한 후 필요하다면 생산초기 자료를 제외하고 분석하는 것이 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한 미세탄성파 탐사자료 해석에 의해 산출된 SRV는 분석방법이나 분석자의 주관에 의해 과대, 과소 평가될 수 있기 때문에 파쇄 단계, 파쇄유체 주입량, 생산성 분석을 통한 적절성평가를 수행하여 필요한 경우, 저류층 시뮬레이션, 균열모델링, 생산천이분석을 통해 재산정하는 것이 필요하다.

  • 본 연구는 CRW형식 무인항공기 추진시스템의 밸브 작동을 고려한 비행모드에 따른 천이성능특성을 파악하기 위해 SIMULINK를 이용하여 모델링 하였다. 주 엔진시스템의 천이모사에는 ICV 방법이 적용되였다. 그리고 밸브 시스템은 로터리 덕트와 메인 덕트로 빠져나가는 유량을 제어하는 시스템으로서 밸브를 통해 로터리 덕트로 빠져나가는 유량과 메인 덕트를 빠져나가는 유량이 합은 터빈의 출구 유량과 같다는 가정하에 수행 되었으며, 이때 밸브각 변화에 따른 손실, 유량 및 유효 면적 등이 고려되었다. 성능해석은 비행 천이 영역인 고도 1Km 비행 마하수 0.1에서 엔진최대회전수시 회전익 모드에서 고정익 모드로 변환시외 고정익 모드에서 회전익 모드로 변환 경우들이 수행되였다.

  • A numerical study of subcooled onset of nucleate boiling (ONB) in a micro-channel under pulsed heating using volume of fluids (VOF) model was conducted. The VOF simulation adopting the existing experimental condition is compared to the experimental data. The time to ONB was determined when the void fraction at the microheater surface first appeared. The theoretical superheat for homogeneous nucleation relatively predicts the transient ONB results of convective flow of water well based on local temperature distribution. It was found that once heat load increases at the heater, transient flow boiling starts to occur faster.

Steady-State and Transient Performance Simulation of a Turboshaft Engine with a Free Power Turbine

  • A program of steady-state and transient performance analysis for a 200kW-class small turboshaft engine with free power turbine was developed. An existing turbojet engine was used for the gas generator of the developed turboshaft engine, which was modified to satisfy performance requirements of this turboshaft engine. To verify the accuracy of steady-state performance program for this engine: the program was applied to the gas turbine test unit of the same type, and the analysis results were compared with experimental results. The developed transient performance analysis program using the CMF (Constant Mass Flow) method was utilized to analyze the cases of step increase and ramp increase of the fuel.

  • This paper presents a optimal power flow calculation algorithm considering voltage and transient stability. In this method, voltage stability margin and transient stability constraints is incorporated into a optimal power flow calculation formulation to guarantee adequate voltage and transient security levels in power system. In addition, this paper provides the Effect of Nodal Price and decomposed Element in Power System Operation. This Effect can be applied in the Estimation of Electric rates because the Electric market will be Competitive Market. The proposed method is applied to IEEE-24 Reliability Test System and the results shows the effectiveness of the method.

NUPEC BFBT SUBCHANNEL VOID DISTRIBUTION ANALYSIS USING THE MATRA AND MARS CODES

  • The subchannel grade void distributions in the NUPEC (Nuclear Power Engineering Corporation) BFBT (BWR Full-Size Fine-Mesh Bundle Tests) facility were evaluated with the subchannel analysis code MATRA and the system code MARS. Fifteen test series from five different test bundles were selected for an analysis of the steady-state subchannel void distributions. Two transient cases, a turbine trip without a bypass as a typical power transient and a re-circulation pump trip as a flow transient, were also chosen for this analysis. It was found that the steady-state void distributions calculated by both the MATRA and MARS codes coincided well with the measured data in the range of thermodynamic qualities from 5% to 25%. The results of the transient calculations were also similar and were highly feasible. However, the computational aspects of the two codes were clearly different.

  • Transient aerodynamic response of an airfoil to a moving plane-flap is numerically investigated using two-dimensional Euler equations with conservative Chimera grid method. A body moving relative to a stationary grid is treated by an overset grid bounded by a 'dynamic domain-dividing line' the concept of which is developed in this study. A conservative Chimera grid method with a dynamic domain-dividing line technique is applied and validated by solving the flowfield around circular cylinder moving supersonic speed. The unsteady and transient characteristics of the flow solver is also examined by computations of a oscillating airfoil and a ramp pitching airfoil respectively. The transient aerodynamic behavior of an airfoil with a moving plane-flap is analyzed for various flow conditions such as deflecting rate of flap and free stream Mach number.

  • A fluid transient analysis on the Koreasat 1 & 2 pipeline system is conducted through numerical parametric studies in which unsteady friction results are compared with quasi-steady friction results and show relatively accurate prediction of the response curve with the unsteady friction. The code developed and used in this analysis has finished verification through comparing with the original Zielke model, the full and recursive convolution model and quasi-steady model as a reference. The unsteady friction is calculated by the recursive convolution Zielke model in which a complete evolution history of velocity field is no longer required so that it makes the fluid transient analysis on the complicated system possible. The results show that the application of quasi-steady friction to model cannot predict the entire response curve properly except the first peak amplitude but the application of unsteady friction to model can predict reasonably the response curve, therefore it is to know the characteristics of the propulsion system.

벽면 조도계수가 염소 접촉조 수리특성에 미치는 영향 연구 (Examining the effects of wall roughness on the hydraulic characteristics of chlorine contactor using Transient CFD Simulation Technique)

  • In this study, in order to investigate the effects of wall roughness on the hydraulic characteristics of chlorine contactor, CFD simulation and tracer tests were conducted for both of reactors whose walls are made of concrete and lined with PE(Poly Ethylene). In the case of walls contacted with water being lined with PE (relatively lower roughness), the flow within reactor is closer to plug flow than that in the case of concrete walls (relatively higher roughness). Especially, the longer tail of C-curve from the results of transient CFD simulation can tell that Morill index in the case concrete walls is much higher than that in the case of walls be lined with lower roughness material.
