설화 <호랑이 눈썹>의 현대적 변용 연구 - 중국, 일본, 인도 사례와의 비교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Modern Transformation of a Tale - A Focused comparison of case studies from China, Japan and India)

  • 본 논문의 연구 목적은 설화 <호랑이 눈썹>의 현대적 변용 양상을 나라별로 비교하는 것이다. 설화 <호랑이 눈썹>은 호랑이 눈썹을 통해 사람의 본질을 꿰뚫어 보는 능력을 얻게 된 남자가 그것을 이용해서 자신과 잘 맞는 아내를 새로 찾아 부자가 된다는 이야기이다. 중국, 일본, 인도에서도 <호랑이 눈썹>과 비슷한 유형의 설화가 전승되고 있다. '호랑이 눈썹'은 일본에서는 '늑대 눈썹', 중국에서는 '호랑이 수염', 인도에서는 '독수리 깃털'로 다르게 나타난다. 본고에서는 나라별로 이 설화를 현대적으로 변용한 작품들을 찾아보았다. 한국에서는 동화책, 뮤지컬, 단편 소설, 게임, 중국에서는 장편 소설, 일본에서는 동화책, 창작 민화집(民話集), 애니메이션, 드라마, 만화 등이 있었고, 인도에서는 논문집 속에 설화가 언급되어 있는 정도였다. 그중에서 장르적으로나 내용적으로 현대적 변용의 의의를 찾을 수 있는 작품은 한국 단편 소설 <호랑이 눈썹>, 중국 장편 소설 <탄샹싱(檀香刑)>, 일본 만화 <늑대의 눈썹> 등이다. 이 작품들은 설화의 내용을 바탕으로 하면서도 장르의 특징을 잘 살리고 있고, 내용에서도 설화와는 대비되는 현대적인 면을 보여 주고 있다. 한국 소설 <호랑이 눈썹>은, 여전히 동물의 본성을 안고 사는 존재이면서도 이제는 완전히 분리된 채 살고 있는 인간의 모습을 보여 준다. 반면 중국 소설 <탄샹싱>은 사람과 동물은 사실 별로 다를 바가 없음을, 특히 고통이나 죽음 앞에서는 더욱 그러함을 보여 준다. 일본 만화 <늑대의 눈썹>은 괴물이나 동물이 대부분인 세상에서 인간으로서 부끄러움을 느끼는 것이 별 의미가 없음을 보여 준다.

현대 패션에 표현된 오컬티즘 (Occultism in Contemporary Fashion)

  • Features of the Occult Culture is preferred that powers, demons, magic, magical, unreal etc. Currently Occultism is getting a lot of attention to the public in the society, culture, arts and the play. Fashion in the period that includes all circumstances is a field. Thus, the current Occultism and modern fashion will also be related. Objective of the study is to figure out the form and meaning of Occultism in Contemporary Fashion. An example of the best of contemporary trends is the mass media, For this reason, Occultism symptoms range of case studies mess media(television programs and film). Research on contemporary fashion range was used 2000-2013 fashion collection extracted from the data. Represented in the mess media features of occultism is 'Witchcraft and Sorcery' and 'Death and Horror'. They are story of wizard exorcism and unnatural horror. In the 21st century, modern people are enjoying occultism, and occultism is the one of the entertainment. Expressed in contemporary fashion features of occultism is 'Super-human organism', that is out of the human body, ignoring body shape and type of transformed organism. Second distinction is 'Ghost', they are something like the dark and dismal, shape of ghosts and look pale. Third distinction is 'Neo-Macabre', it is the shape of the skeleton. Skeleton symbolizing the end of life, skeleton to express Occultism has emerged as the most representative motifs in the 21st century fashion. Occultism expressed in fashion is a gothic fantasy, because the fashion can be expressed. In addition, people in modern society wants to be against the norms and taboos. The trend Occult-culture is a symbol of the public's desires and needs.

한국 신발산업의 대(對) EU시장 진출을 위한 전략적 마케팅 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study of Strategic Marketing Methods for Korean Shoes Industry to Make Inroad to EU Market)

  • Although shoes industry in Korea is superior in global competition in terms of material, parts, and developmental ability, it has declined due to the lack of design in consideration of OEM production and marketing ability. Shoes industry in Korea has aimed at making inroad to North American market centered with the United States, but it has not focused on Europe market that much. However, as Europe transformed into EU, which is a large economic community, European market is being considered as a great potential for Korean shoes industry, which we can never neglect of. So far, there have been researches of marketing strategic methods to make inroad to the United States and South-East Asian markets, but there has been almost no marketing approach to European shoes market. Therefore, in this study I prepare strategic marketing plans for Korean shoes enterprises to make inroads to European markets, so that they can enter the market successfully, and this is the purpose of this study. In case that Korean shoes industry makes inroads to European market, there are important terms to examine. The strategic terms for consideration to examine are as follows. First, shoes companies such as Nike and Adidas are aware of India. Turkey, and Rumania as new footholds for production, as they have accounted continuous wage claim and labor dispute. Especially Turkey and Rumania are expected to have much competitive strength in price, as they are expected countries for joining EU. Second, we need to shift our understanding of the importance of design for European shoes market. We should pay close attention to the fact that the role of leading companies is to design. Third, Germany, England, and Italy have global-level of specialize institutions and organizations for shoes education and have been succeeded in knowledge industrialization. Fourth, we should consider that the concepts for shoes are changing from innovation in production to in products. Fifth, we should develop specialized concept centered in individualized categories. Sixth, we should open up new markets actively by connecting large shopping centers and multi-shops. Seventh, we should look for the opportunities to expand market through the utilization of BIFOS. Lastly, we should expand our support for opening up markets and participating fairs in foreign countries.

통도사 상로전 영역의 공간구성 변화 고찰 (A Review on Changes in Spatial Formation of the Sangrojun Area in Tongdo Temple)

  • The Tongdo temple have been transformed continuously since its first establishment about 1300 years ago. Nevertheless three critical elements specified by 'Jajangyulsa', founder of the temple have not varied over the times but rather strengthened and strongly combined. All elements and doctrines of the religion coexist and form a harmony within the whole of the temple. This researcher examined what changes, or combinations, in spatial formation were sought for such unique structures of the Tongue temple by focusing mainly on the Sangrojun area of the temple to obtain the following findings. First. unlike a work by a Japanese researcher 'Sekino Tadashi', the east yard of the main building was found located on the section line which corresponded to the separation line of Yungkuncheokdo(營建尺度=measure running) from the edge of the Keumkangkyedan(金剛戒壇 =Buddhist platform) embankment to the corner column of the Kamrodang. This was confirmed as a result of the review of photos shown in [Chosun Kojukdobo]. Second, the number of stairs used for the Keumkangkyedan was thought to become three when the temple was firstly restored in 1379 as a result that this researcher reviewed Chinese literature 'DoSun' and [Kyedandokyung(戒壇圖經)], records by 'Lee saek' and 'Jung Shihan', studies of Yungkun measure and actual changes in the temple. Then the temple was forth restored in 1705 when the second of the stairs was changed in area and height and at the same time grounded hard for a space for a Buddhist service. Third, the roof of the main building was probably changed in shape during the Koryo period when the plane structure, furnish arrangement, emphasized front, stone lanterns of the building and political factors of that time were all considered. Fourth, the main building was Initially designed to provide a Buddhist sermon service which was assumedly followed by a similar service at a Keumkangkyedan. Thus the main building had a small window on the northern side which might be opened up to look out or otherwise go outside like a door. However, the window was probably locked up like a surrounding wall since the main building was entirely repaired after the end of Japanese invasion of Korea in 1592.

스키타이 복식 유형 및 형태에 관한 연구 - 고대 한국과의 관계를 중심으로 - (Scythai's clothing type and style - focusing on the relationship with ancient Korea -)

  • The primary focus of this thesis is to look at Scythai's historical, geographical and ethnologic background in order to understand Scythai's garment types and styles as described in Scythai-related documented records, previous studies and excavated artifacts. Based upon this, another objective lies in comparing and contrasting this information with ancient Korean garments to identify what kind of relationship exists between the two. The result from this study's objectives is summarized as follows. Firstly, ancient Korean and Scythai share similarities in art work, craftwork, accessories and the like, which allows us to make a guess at the relationship between ancient Korea and Scythai of that time. Secondly, Scythai garments are based on the tight and well-fitted Caftan Yugoje, which is tightly fit to the body, as well as including garments similar to the drapery Kiton and Tunic found in ancient Greek garments, from which can be seen that the garment of culture medium passing between the East and the West had nomadic horse-riders' ethnic characteristics and Eurasian characteristics. Thirdly, ancient Korean Scythai garments were found to have homogeneity in their garment culture in that northern nomadic cultural district's Hobok-Goseupje, i.e., open-front Caftan Jeogori and pants called Sangeuihago is its basic with a triangular cone hat shape (transformed hat) and boots, which is the basis for considering that ancient Korea exchanged culture with Scythai, who once lived as active northern nomads. However, it can also be seen that ancient Korea and Scythai garments differed in form depending on region, weather, culture, custom and the like. As such, Scythai and ancient Korea have an aesthetic bond because northern nomads and Scythai exchanged their cultural traits of the times. The evidence supports this idea as it seems that the characteristics of garments that can be considered to be Scythain in style are also commonly discovered in ancient Korean garments.

A Study of Methods to Foster Manhole Cover Design -Focused on manhole cover designs in 'Streets of History and Culture'-

  • From 1998 Seoul city is being rebuilt for 'the city which people want to go around on foot'. Many streets only for cars have been transformed for pedestrians. In addition to that streets are built not only just to pass by, but also enjoy themselves, so 8 Streets in Seoul have been redecorated as 'Streets of History and Culture'. These Streets are chosen because they have their own unique history or culture, so they are remodeled with lightings, exhibition pavilions or sign postings etc except manhole covers. Even these 8 streets have manhole covers; they are not particular, just same as like other streets. For most streets manhole cover is an essential component of them, but it is mostly omitted to be designed in particular. For the most time some of the standard manhole covers are installed in a street. Taking a look at manholes in Minneapolis city, they inform visitors what the landmark, landscape, symbol, representative flower or tree of the city is. Sometimes they are designed by famous artists and become art which all pedestrian can enjoy. If manhole covers in 'the streets of history and culture' are designed to represent its history or culture, visitors will get information about there easily and enjoy their design. To foster manhole cover designs, the government office should co-work with professional designers or design societies and encourage people to spend a certain amount of the construction cost to design manhole covers. At school designing manhole cover can be handled in an art class and besides can have a class in the field, streets to observe manhole cover designs. Getting more concern of manhole cover design, competitions and exhibitions are able to be held.

애니메이션의 변신(變身) 모티프 연구 (A Study on the Transformation Motif in Animations)

  • 본 논문은 인간이 동물로 혹은 동물이 인간으로 변신한 작품을 중심으로 애니메이션의 변신 모티프에 내재된 사상적 토대는 무엇인지, 그리고 변신 모티프가 서사에 어떤 의미와 기능을 부여하는지를 살펴보았다. 변신 모티프를 중심으로 한 애니메이션 텍스트 분석의 결과 <브라더 베어>는 동물로의 변신이 징벌의 개념으로 작용하고 있으며 동물이란 인간이 돌봐야 할 대상, 즉 정복과 극복의 대상으로 보는 인간 중심적 관점이 강하게 작용하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 반면, <곰이 되고 싶어요>는 소년이 곰이 되어가는 과정을 통해 자연(동물)을 정복의 대상이 아니라 대자연의 순리를 겸허한 시선으로 바라봄으로써 삶과 자연, 자연과 인간에 대한 깊은 성찰을, <천년여우 여우비>는 금지된 것에 대한 경계를 넘고자 하는 주체적 존재에 대한 시선을 견지하는 등 각 작품마다 인간과 자연(동물)의 관계를 다양한 관점으로 표현하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

진보된 혼돈 대각화 방법을 이용한 상호작용하는 페르미온 계의 기저상태 계산 (Ground State Computation of Interacting Fermion Systems by using Advanced Stochastic Diagonalization)

  • 2차원 상호작용하는 페르미온 계에 대한 혼돈 대각화 계산의 컴퓨터 계산 시간이, 대칭성 연산과 같은 여러 가지 방법을 이용함으로써 감소되었다. 첫째로, 각각의 격자를 업스핀(${\uparrow}$) 격자와 다운스핀(${\downarrow}$) 격자로 나누어서 2부분 격자가 가능케 했다. 이에 따라, 유효한 바탕 상태는 업스핀 배열에 다운스핀 배열을 겹침으로써 얻어진다. 결과적으로, 시험 바탕 상태를 저장하는데 사용되는 메모리 공간이 현저하게 감소되었다. 두 번째로, 바탕 상태 집합을 구성할 때, 해밀토니안 행렬의 원소들을 순람표에 기록하였다. 그럼으로써, 혼돈 대각화 과정에서 해밀토니안 행렬의 원소들을 반복적으로 계산하는 것을 피했다. 세 번째로, 바탕 상태 집합에 대칭성 연산을 적용함으로써 원 바탕 상태 집합이 대칭성 연산의 고유벡터들로 구성된 새로운 바탕 상태 집합으로 변환되었다. 기저 상태 파동함수는 대칭적인 바탕상태 (결합상태) 집합으로부터 구성되었다. 결과로서, 대칭성 연산을 이용함으로써, 혼돈 대각화 계산에 쓰이는 바탕상태의 총 개수가 50%까지 감소되었다.

Tailored Collar 패턴 제도법에 따른 시각적 이미지 연구 (A Study on the Visual Image by Pattern Drafting of Tailored Collar)

  • The purpose of this study is to give the guideline to the pattern designing by supplying various images of the transformed shape of tailored collar with the location and angle of gorge line and laying measurement of the tailored collar while designing the tailored collar. The results of this study are as follows : Images of the sample at the case of 1cm of laying measurement looks 'urban', 'light', 'sharp', 'young', 'fashionable' and 'narrow' than that at the case of 7cm. When the laying measurement increases, the image of the sample looks more 'classical' and 'boorish'. The image of the sample 'light', 'sensuous' and 'young' at the case of sample of which laying measurements of the collar was 3cm. Second, at the case of sample whose laying measurements of the collar was 5cm, it was shown that the low location of gorge line made the image of the sample 'soft' and 'short'. On the other hand the image of the sample looked 'hard', 'keen' and 'long' by the high location of gorge line. Third, at the case of sample of which laying measurements of the collar was 7cm, low location of gorge line made the image of the sample look short. However, normal location of gorge line made the image of the sample looked 'fashionable'. The images of the samples of which laying measurements of the collar were 3cm, 5cm and 7cm, respectively, had changed with the angle of gorge line. First, the high angle of gorge line made the image of the sample 'rigid' and 'keen' at the case of sample of which laying measurements of the collar was 3cm. The high angle of gorge line made the image of the sample looked 'boorish' and 'singular'.

조선시대 직령의 유형과 특성 (Type and Characteristics of Jikryung of the Chosun Era)

  • This study is to classify the types of Jikryung and to look into formative . periodic Characteristics. Results of analyzing can be described as follows. 1. Jikryung in the Chosun Era was classified according to whether it had a side hem. Jikryung which had side hem was reclassified according to the position of the side hem into inside, inside and outside and outside fold types and backward leaning type. Jikryung with no side hem was reclassified into types of closed and opened sides. 2. Concerning formative Characteristics, the type of inside fold was coexisted with the types of short front and long rear, the same front and rear, and narrow sleeves, bean chaff typed sleeves. Inside and outside fold type was used the type of short front and long rear, narrow sleeves. Outside fold type was used the type of same front and rear, bean chaff typed sleeves. Backward leaning type was used the same front and rear, wide sleeves. The types of closed and opened sides transformed from double Sup to single Sup and from narrow sleeves to bean chaff in its form and wide sleeves. 3. Concerning periodic Characteristics, the 1st period of Jikryung with side hem showed up the type of inside and outside fold, the 2nd period did the type of outside fold, The 3rd period did the type of backward leaning. Regarding Jikryung with no side hem, its 1st and 3rd periods saw the type of closed side, while its 2nd period coexisted with the types of closed and opened sides.
