  • In the category of the group theoretic methods using invertible discrete group transformation, we give a useful relation between Emden-Fowler equations and nonlinear heat equation. In this paper, by means of appropriate transformations of discrete group analysis, the nonlinear hate equation transformed into the class of the Emden-Fowler equations. This approach shows that, under the group action, the solution of reference equation can be transformed into the solution of the transformed equation.

  • Research on the influence of foreign culture influx on fashion has a significant meaning as a reference for predicting future fashion trends affected by globalization. Therefore, this study examined the transformations in Turkish costume in the 13th to 18th century when Turkey was most thriving in history. As the Ottoman Turk Empire expanded its territory, its costume changed by embracing both western and Islamic cultures and presented exotic styles in terms of fabric, pattern, color, design and details.

  • The absence of deep traps for electrons in the spectrum of $As_{40}Se_{30}S_30$ localized states films obtained by ion sputtering was determined. Bipolar drift of charge carriers was found in amorphous $As_{40}Se_{30}S_30$ films of chalcogenide glassy semiconductors, obtained by ion-plasma sputtering of high-frequency, unlike the films of these materials obtained by thermal evaporation.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how Western modern architecture flowed into Korea in extent of architectural mind after openning the port and what the transformations and architectural characteristics are in the spreading process. Significance of this study can be found as a fundamental work to look into modem architecture in the point of architectural paradigm, the meaning of which is the link between traditional and contemporary architecture through inflow and settling of Western modem architecture in the modern age of Korea.

  • The intent of this paper is to describe a neural network structure called multi dynamic neural network(MDNN), and examine how it can be used in developing a learning scheme for computing robot inverse kinematic transformations. The architecture and learning algorithm of the proposed dynamic neural network structure, the MDNN, are described. Computer simulations are demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed learning using the MDNN.

  • This paper suggests a procedure of decomposing a multi-stage dynamic location problem into stages with respect stage. The problem can be formulated as a mixed integer programming problem, which is difficult to be solved directly. We perform a series of transformations in order to divide the problem into stages. In the process, the assumption of PSO (production-system-only) plays a critical role. The resulting subproblem becomes a typical single-stage dynamic location problem, whose efficient algorithms have been developed efficiently. An extension of this study is to find a method to integrate the solutions of subproblems for a final solution of the problem.

  • This paper introduces region partitioning method of non-perfect nested loops with non-uniform dependences. This kind of loop normally can't be parallelized by existing parallelizing compilers and transformations. Even when parallelized in rare instances, the performance is very poor. Based on the Convex Hull theory which has adequate information to handle non-uniform dependences, this paper proposes an enhanced region partitioning method which divides the iteration space into minimum parallel regions where all the iterations inside each parallel region can be executed in parallel by using variable renaming after copying.
