노년기 부모-성인자녀간 지원유형에 관한 연구 (The Study of Intergenerational Support Exchange between Older parents and Adult Children)

  • 본 연구는 만 60세 이상의 노인이 인지하는 노년기 부모-성인자녀간 지원유형을 살펴보고, 각 유형별로 나타나는 노인의 인구사회학적 특성과 삶의 질을 분석한 것이다. 분석에 활용된 자료는 2008년도 노인실태조사 원자료이며, 성인자녀가 있는 노인 14,843명을 분석대상으로 하였다. 군집분석을 통해 노년기 부모-성인자녀간 지원유형은 <높은 상호지원형>, <부모수혜형>, <부모제공형>, <낮은 상호지원형>의 4개로 분류되었으며, <부모제공형>이 가장 많았다. 4개의 유형중 <높은 상호지원형>의 노인들이 높은 삶의 질 수준을 보인 반면, <부모수혜형> 노인들은 자아통합감이 가장 낮았고, 우울수준이 가장 높게 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 2000년대 초반까지의 국내 선행연구들과 달리 우리나라의 노인들도 성인자녀와 쌍방향적 상호지원의 관계로 변화되어감을 발견할 수 있었다.

Flipped Learning: Strategies and Technologies in Higher Education

  • Flipped learning is necessary for modern education but quite difficult to implement. In pedagogical science, the question remains to what extent the practical work of the teacher in combination with the technologies of flipped learning will improve the quality of higher education. The aim of this article is to study the effectiveness and feasibility of using flipped learning technologies, assessing their perception by students (advantages and problems), identified an algorithm for introducing flipped learning technology in higher education institutions. Research methods. The main method is an experiment. An evaluation of the effectiveness of the study was conducted using a questionnaire and observation method. Statistical methods were used to evaluate the results of the experiment. The research hypothesis is that flipped learning allows the teacher to spend more time on an individual approach, to understand the real needs of students, and provide effective feedback, thereby improving the quality of learning and motivation of students, especially while studying complex material. The results of the study are to prove the effectiveness of the technology of flipped education in the study of complex disciplines, courses, topics. The use of flipped learning strategies improves the self-regulation of the educational process, group work skills, improves students' ability to learn, overcome difficulties. The technology of flipped learning in the presence of modern technical means and constant work on improving the level of digital literacy is an effective means for students to master complex topics and problematic issues that require additional consideration and discussion. The perspective of further research is the consideration of integrated approaches to the application of flipped learning technologies to the principles of STEAM-education, multilingual and multicultural programs, etc. It is also worth continuing to develop a set of methods aimed at enhancing the student's learning activities, the formation of group work skills, direct participation in creating the foundations of higher education.

수학적 모델링 활동에 대한 인지적, 정의적 및 사회적 측면의 분석 (Analysis of Changes in Cognitive, Affect and Social Aspects of Elementary School Students through Mathematical Modeling Activities)

  • 수학적 모델링 활동은 실생활에서 마주할 수 있는 상황을 수학적 모델로 변환하여 문제를 해결하는 과정으로 다양한 측면의 활용이 기대되고 있다. 수학적 모델링 활동에 대한 학생들의 인지적, 정의적 및 사회적 측면을 분석하기 위하여 초등학교 5학년 학생 10개 모둠을 대상으로 수학적 모델링 활동을 진행하고 과정 및 결과를 분석하였다. 활동 결과, 각 모둠은 실생활과 관련된 과제를 해결하기 위해 수학적인 모델을 만들고 필요한 정보를 수집하는 과정에서 수학적 개념과 원리를 적용하였다. 흥미, 수학적인 성취감 및 수학에 대한 태도에 대한 변화가 관찰되었으며 모둠원 간 협업, 의사소통을 경험하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로 효과적인 수학적 모델링 활동을 위한 교수학적 시사점 및 지도시 유의점을 제시하였다.

Histopathological Study and Expression of Beta-Catenin in Congenital Choledochal Cyst in a Tertiary Care Pediatric Referral Center in South India

  • Purpose: Choledochal cysts are congenital anomalies that occur as localized cystic or fusiform dilatations of the biliary tree. Reflux and stasis of pancreatic enzymes in the biliary duct may relate to the development of intestinal metaplasia which might be an important factor related to the carcinogenesis of choledochal cyst, thus the expression of beta-catenin in the metaplastic epithelium might be associated with malignant transformation of choledochal cyst epithelium. Methods: This study was conducted at a tertiary care pediatric center between October 2014 and March 2017. Forty patients were evaluated for epithelial lining, mural ulceration, fibrosis, inflammation, and metaplasia. Results: Out of 40, 12 cases (30.0%) were the infantile age group and 28 cases (70.0%) were in the classic pediatric group. Ulceration was classified as grade 0 (14 cases, 35.0%), grade 1 (17 cases, 42.5%), or grade 2 (nine cases, 22.5%). Inflammation was classified as grade 0 (2 cases, 5.0%), grade 1 (26 cases, 65.0%), or grade 2 (12 cases, 30.0%). Fibrosis was classified as grade 0 (five cases, 12.5%), grade 1 (11 cases, 27.5%), grade 2 (17 cases, 42.5%), or grade 3 (seven cases, 17.5%). Metaplasia was noted in five (12.5%) out of 40 cases. All choledochal cysts with metaplasia showed beta-catenin nuclear positivity on immunohistochemistry and were followed up. Conclusion: This study emphasizes the importance of detailed histopathological examination and documentation of metaplastic changes. Metaplasia was associated with beta-catenin nuclear positivity. These findings suggest a potential role for beta-catenin as a marker of metaplastic changes in choledochal cysts.

성체 백서의 지방조직에서 추출한 중간엽 줄기세포의 5-azacytidine을 이용한 심근세포 분화 유도 (Transformation of Adult Mesenchymal Stem Cells into Cardiomyocytes with 5-azacytidine: Isolated from the Adipose Tissues of Rat)

  • 배경: 허혈성 심근손상으로 인한 심근경색이나 심근병증으로 인한 심근의 비가역적인 손상은 관상동맥 중재술이나 관상동맥 우회로술 등의 치료로 손상 받은 조직의 손상 정도를 경감시키고 추가적인 손상을 방지할 수 있으나, 괴사된 심근세포를 재생할 수는 없다. 결국 중증의 심부전증이 발생한 경우 심근성형술을 시행하거나 심실보조장치 또는 인공심장 등의 한시적 치료 방법이 시도되기도 하지만, 최종적으로 심장이식 이외의 방법은 현재로서는 제시되지 못하고 있다. 심장 공여자의 부족으로 인한 한계를 극복하기 위해서 세포이식을 통한 치료에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는데, 이러한 세포치료에서 가장 넓게 시도되고 이용된 장기는 골수이며, 현재까지 골격근아세포, 평활근 세포, 그리고 심근 세포 등 다양한 세포의 이식이 시도되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 골수는 채취하는 과정이 침습적이어서 환자에게 과다한 통증을 주며, 추출된 세포의 수가 부족한 단점이 있어서, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 상대적으로 접근이 용이하며, 다량의 조직을 확보할 수 있는 지방조직에서의 성체 줄기세포의 추출이 제시되었다. 대상 및 방법: 본 연구에서는 백서의 지방조직을 복부 피하지방 조직과 복강 내 지방조직으로 나누어 각각 분리 추출하여 두 조직에 동일한 과정의 세포 추출 과정을 거친 후, 5-azacytidine을 이용한 심근세포로의 분화 유도를 시도하였다. 심근 분화유도에 적합한 환경을 찾기 위해서 5-azacytidine을 각각 다른 농도로 사용하였고, 지방에서 추출한 성체 중간엽 줄기세포의 심장질환에서의 임상적용의 가능성과 지방조직의 부위에 따른 분화 유도의 차이 가 있는지 관찰하고자 하였다. 백서의 복부 피하지방 조직을 적출하여 실험조직 1로 정하였고, 복강 내 대망(omentum)과 후복막 지방조직을 적출하여 실험조직 2로 정하였다. 적출된 조직에서 collagenase, $NH_4Cl$ 등을 이용하여 세포를 추출하였고, 이를 10% FBS를 함유한 DMEM solution에서 배양하였으며, 1차 또는 2차 계대배양을 거쳐서 5-azacytine을 각각 none, $3{\mu}mol/L,\;6{\mu}mol/L,\;9{\mu}mol/L$의 농도로 첨가하여 심근세포로의 분화를 유도하였다. 4주간의 배양이 끝난 후 각 실험 조직군의 세포들을 cell blocks으로 만든 후에, CD34, heavy myosin chain, troponin T, SMA에 대한 항체를 이용하여 면역형광염색을 시행하였고, 형광염색에 반응을 보인 세포들의 대략적 비율을 비교하였다. 결과: CD34, heavy myosin chain에 대하여는 모두 음성이었으나, SMA에 대해서는 $3{\mu}mol/L,\;6{\mu}mol/L$의 복강 내 지방조직에서 $5{\sim}10%$ 정도의 양성반응을 보였고, troponin T에 대하여는 피하지방조직과 복강 내 지방조직 모두에서 $6{\mu}mol/L$$9{\mu}mol/L$에서 $10{\sim}15%$ 정도의 양성 반응을 보였다. 결론: 본 연구 결과, 지방조직에서 추출한 중간엽 줄기세포는 심근세포로 분화할 수 있는 가능성이 충분히 있는 것이 확인되었으나, 분화유도 비율면에서는 만족할 수준이 되지 못하였으며, 심근세포로의 분화는 복부 피하지방과 복강 내 지방조직에서 모두 가능한 것으로 판단되었다.

공작기계 원점 열변형오차의 모델링 및 보상제어 (Modeling and Compensatory Control of Thermal Error for the Machine Orgin of Machine Tools)

  • In order to control thermal deformation of the machine origin of machine tools a empirical model and a compensation system have been developed, Prior to empirical modeling the volumetric error considering shape errors and joint errors of slides is formulated through the homogeneous transformation matrix (HTM) and kinematic chain. Simulation results of the HTM method show that the thermal error of the machine origin is more critical than position-dependent errors. In order to make a stable and effective software error compensation system the GMDH (Group Method of Data Handling) models are constructed to estimate the thermal deformation of the machine origin by measuring deformation data and temperature data. A test bar and gap sensors are used to measure the deformation data. In order to compensate the estimated error the work origin shift method is developed by implementing a digital I/O interface board between a CNC controller and an IBM PC. The method shifts the work origin as much as the amounts which are calculated by the pre-established thermal error model. The experiment results for a vertical machining center show that the thermal deformation of the machine origin is reduced within $\pm$5$mu extrm{m}$.

전라남도(全羅南道) 해남층군(海南層群) 우항리층(牛項里層)에 흡재(夾在)된 흑색(黑色)셰일의 유기지구화학적(有機地球化學的) 연구(硏究) (Organic Geochemical Study on the Black Shales in U-hang-ri Formation, Hae-nam Group, Jeolla Nam-do, Korea)

  • In this study, the oil bearing rock-sequence, U-hand-ri Formation (D.S. Lee et al., 1976), was subdivided into three members; the lower, the intermediate and the upper. The lower consists mainly of reddish purple tuff and sandy calcareous shales, the intermediate of an alternation of tuffs, sandstons, calcareous black shales, cherts and limestone and the upper of coarse grained variegated tuff and agglomerate. Oily matter was found from the black shales of the intermediate. Ten samples of black shales from drilled cores, 8 samples of black shales from different outcrops of the member, and 1 sample of grease-like seeping oil from black shales at U-hang-ri coast were chemically analyized. Among them, 9 samples contain remarkable amount of organic carbon (0.96~1.60%) and E.O.M. extract (0.176~0.718%), and mostly the bituminous material is saturated hydrocarbons as well as shown in infared spectroscopic analyses. The elemental analyses of MAE extracts and asphaltenes of some of thoese samples indicate that the transformation of organic material to crude oil is highly progressed. The authors suggest that the seeping oil and oily tinges in black shale layers are the products of natural cracking related with the igneous activities in the area nearby.

대학 수업에서의 SNS 활용에 대한 연구: 경험자와 비경험자 학습자의 비교 (A Study on the use of SNS in college education: A Comparison of experienced learner and non-experienced learner)

  • Dramatic transformation in education has taken place and Internet Technologies have played a key role. Especially SNS has been considered as an effective educational tool because of its exceptional features such as discussion on course topics, feedback from peers and group collaboration. The purpose of this paper is to investigate factors affecting the attitude, intention to continuous use of SNS and performance in college education comparing between experienced learner and non-experienced learner. Self-efficacy on media usage, educational expectancy, subjective norm, habit, and enjoyment were identified as affecting factors based on prior researches. The results shows that all factors are significantly related to the learner's attitude on the use of SNS in college education. Experienced learner's attitude on educational use of SNS in college was found to be significantly related to the intention to continuous use and performance. This study can provide a guideline of effective strategy for SNS utilization in college education.

Transgenic Lettuce Expressing Chalcone Isomerase Gene of Chinese Cabbage Increased Levels of Flavonoids and Polyphenols

  • Flavonoid are large group of the polyphenolic compounds which are distinguished by an aromatic or phenolic ring structure and the phenolic compounds are induced by microbial infection, ultraviolet radiation, temperature and chemical stress. They are known for their antioxidant activity, anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and anti-cancer activities. In this study, changes in flavonoid content were investigated using heterologous chalcone isomerase (CHI) expression system. Also, phenolic compounds level was measured to examine the relation between flavonoids and phenols contents. Explants of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) were transformed with Agrobacterium tumefaciens LBA 4404 strain containing pFLH-CHI (derived from pPZP2Ha3) vector constructed with CHI gene from Brassica rapa. The putative transgenic plants were confirmed by genomic DNA PCR analysis. Also the transcription levels of the gene were analyzed by semi-quantitative RT-PCR with gene specific primers. The total flavonoid contents were increased at $T_0$ and $T_1$ generations over 1.4 and 4.0 fold, respectively. Total phenol contents also increased at $T_1$ generation. These results indicate that CHI gene plays an important role to regulate the accumulation of flavonoids and its component changes.

식이 섬유소 섭취상태와 변 답즙산 조성과의 관계 (The Relationship to Dietary Fiber Intake and Fecal Bile Acid Profiles)

  • Bacterial transformation of bile acids is possibly involved in colorectal carcinogenesis. n several epidemiological studies, the fecal bile acid dietary fiber are related to the indicence of colonic cancer. This study investigated the influence of age, dietary fiber intake on fecal bile acid profiles in healthy subject. The dietary fiber were assessed by mean of 24 hour dietary recall method, the subjects consist of 238 members aged 20 to 64 years old and feces are collected from the subjects. Fecal bile acids and neutral sterols were analyzed by gas chromatography. Mean dily crude fiber intake level was 7.7$\pm$1.4g(dietary fiber : 16.7$\pm$3.5g), dietary fiber intake range being 6.5-36.8g. The dietary fiber intake in elederly subject was significantly lower than in the other younger groups. Dietary fiber intakes was negatively correlated with the total bil acid concentation in feces. Probably, a decrease in dietary fiber intake results in higher fecal bile acid concentrations. The secondary bile acid concentration is related to the colon cancer, deoxycholic acid and lithocholic acid were significantly higher in elderly subjects. Concentration of fecal total bile acid, deoxycholic acid, coprostanol, coprostanone were higher in low dietary fiber intake group. These results suggest that the risk factor for colon cancer might be reduced, when dietary fibers are consummed more.
