  • In this paper, we propose an organ segmentation technique for the automatic extraction of medical diagnostic indicators from X-ray images. In order to calculate diagnostic indicators of heart disease and spinal disease such as VHS(vertebral heart scale) and Cobb angle, it is necessary to accurately segment the thoracic spine, carina, and heart in a chest X-ray image. A deep neural network model in which the high-resolution representation of the image for each layer and the structure converted into a low-resolution feature map are connected in parallel was adopted. This structure enables the relative position information in the image to be effectively reflected in the segmentation process. It is shown that learning performance can be improved by combining the OCR module, in which pixel information and object information are mutually interacted in a multi-step process, and the channel attention module, which allows each channel of the network to be reflected as different weight values. In addition, a method of augmenting learning data is presented in order to provide robust performance against changes in the position, shape, and size of the subject in the X-ray image. The effectiveness of the proposed theory was evaluated through an experiment using 145 human chest X-ray images and 118 animal X-ray images.

  • Robots are expected to expand their scope of application to the military field and take on important missions such as surveillance and enemy detection in the coming future warfare. Swarm robots can perform tasks that are difficult or time-consuming for a single robot to be performed more efficiently due to the advantage of having multiple robots. Swarm robots require mutual recognition and collaboration. So they send and receive vast amounts of data, making it increasingly difficult to verify SW. Hardware-in-the-loop simulation used to increase the reliability of mission verification enables SW verification of complex swarm robots, but the amount of verification data exchanged between the HILS device and the simulator increases exponentially according to the number of systems to be verified. So communication overload may occur. In this paper, we propose a digital twin-based communication optimization technique to solve the communication overload problem that occurs in mission verification of swarm robots. Under the proposed Digital Twin based Multi HILS Framework, Network DT can efficiently allocate network resources to each robot according to the mission scenario through the Network Controller algorithm, and can satisfy all sensor generation rates required by individual robots participating in the group. In addition, as a result of an experiment on packet loss rate, it was possible to reduce the packet loss rate from 15.7% to 0.2%.

  • Mobile apps frequently request permission to access sensitive data for user convenience. However, while using mobile applications, sensitive and personal data has been leaked even if users do not allow it. To deal with this problem, Google App Store has required developers to disclose how the mobile app handles user data in a privacy policy. However, users are not certain that the privacy policy describes all the app's behavior. They have no choice but to rely on the privacy policy to confirm how the app uses data. This study designed a system that checks the reliability of privacy policies by analyzing the privacy policy texts and mobile apps. First, the system extracts and analyzes the privacy policy texts to check which personal data the privacy policy discloses that the mobile apps can collect. After analyzing which data apps can access using android static analysis, we compare both results to analyze the reliability of privacy policies. For the experiment, we collected the APK files and metadata of about 13K android apps registered in the Google Play Store and preprocessed the apps by four conditions. According to the comparison between privacy policies and mobile app behavior, many apps can access more personal data than disclosed in the privacy policy.

  • Respiratory infections such as COVID-19 mainly occur within enclosed spaces. The presence or absence of abnormal symptoms of respiratory infectious diseases is judged through initial symptoms such as fever, cough, sneezing and difficulty breathing, and constant monitoring of these early symptoms is required. In this paper, image matching correction was performed for the RGB camera module and the thermal imaging camera module, and the temperature of the thermal imaging camera module for the measurement environment was calibrated using a blackbody. To detection the target recommended by the standard, a deep learning-based object recognition algorithm and the inner canthus recognition model were developed, and the model accuracy was derived by applying a dataset of 100 experimenters. Also, the error according to the measured distance was corrected through the object distance measurement using the Lidar module and the linear regression correction module. To measure the performance of the proposed model, an experimental environment consisting of a motor stage, an infrared thermography temperature screening system and a blackbody was established, and the error accuracy within 0.28℃ was shown as a result of temperature measurement according to a variable distance between 1m and 3.5 m.

  • As high-performance quantum computers are expected to be developed, studies are being actively conducted to build a post-quantum security system that is safe from potential quantum computer attacks. When the Grover's algorithm, a representative quantum algorithm, is used to search for a secret key in a symmetric key cryptography, there may be a safety problem in that the security strength of the cipher is reduced to the square root. NIST presents the post-quantum security strength estimated based on the cost of the Grover's algorithm required for an attack of the cryptographic algorithm as a post-quantum security requirement for symmetric key cryptography. The estimated cost of Grover's algorithm for the attack of symmetric key cryptography is determined by the quantum circuit complexity of the corresponding encryption algorithm. In this paper, the quantum circuit of the SCHWAEMM algorithm, AEAD family of SPARKLE, which was a finalist in NIST's lightweight cryptography competition, is efficiently implemented, and the quantum cost to apply the Grover's algorithm is analyzed. At this time, the cost according to the CDKM ripple-carry adder and the unbounded Fan-Out adder is compared together. Finally, we evaluate the post-quantum security strength of the lightweight cryptography SPARKLE SCHWAEMM algorithm based on the analyzed cost and NIST's post-quantum security requirements. A quantum programming tool, ProjectQ, is used to implement the quantum circuit and analyze its cost.

  • Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) created on the basis of blockchain have their own unique value, so they cannot be forged or exchanged with other tokens or coins. Using these characteristics, NFTs can be issued to digital assets such as images, videos, artworks, game characters, and items to claim ownership of digital assets among many users and objects in cyberspace, as well as proving the original. However, interest in NFTs exploded from the beginning of 2020, causing a lot of load on the blockchain network, and as a result, users are experiencing problems such as delays in computational processing or very large fees in the mining process. Additionally, all actions of users are stored in the blockchain, and digital assets are stored in a blockchain-based distributed file storage system, which may unnecessarily expose the personal information of users who do not want to identify themselves on the Internet. In this paper, we propose an NFT platform using cloud computing, access gate, conversion table, and cloud ID to improve usability and privacy problems that occur in existing system. For performance comparison between local and cloud systems, we measured the gas used for smart contract deployment and NFT-issued transaction. As a result, even though the cloud system used the same experimental environment and parameters, it saved about 3.75% of gas for smart contract deployment and about 4.6% for NFT-generated transaction, confirming that the cloud system can handle computations more efficiently than the local system.

  • In case of violation of the Personal Information Protection Act, administrative dispositions will be taken according to the legal standards, and the results will be announced. However, the current method has limitations in its effectiveness as repeated administrative dispositions are increasing despite the announcement by the disclosure system of the Personal Information Protection Act. In this paper, we deploy the introduction of the 'public announcement commandment' against violators by analyzing the administrative disposition results according to the violation of the Personal Information Protection Act. It is able to strengthen the existing disclosure system for self-disclose violations by providing easy recognition to the people about the fact of violation itself against the Personal Information Protection Act. Furthermore, we analyze major industries through the industry groups and violations of laws that were subject to publication, and data published on the results of administrative dispositions for violation of the Personal Information Protection Act. Finally, we propose the legal basis for the 'public announcement commandment' which allows the violator to publish by oneself for the announcement of the fact that the corrective action has been taken.

  • Recently, due to the personalization and customization of data, Internet-based services have increased requirements for real-time processing, such as real-time AI inference and data analysis, which must be handled immediately according to the user's situation or requirement. Real-time tasks have a set deadline from the start of each task to the return of the results, and the guarantee of the deadline is directly linked to the quality of the services. However, traditional container systems are limited in operating real-time tasks because they do not provide the ability to allocate and manage deadlines for tasks executed in containers. In addition, tasks such as AI inference and data analysis basically utilize graphical processing units (GPU), which typically have performance impacts on each other because performance isolation is not provided between containers. And the resource usage of the node alone cannot determine the deadline guarantee rate of each container or whether to deploy a new real-time container. In this paper, we propose a monitoring technique for tracking and managing the execution status of deadlines and real-time GPU tasks in containers to support real-time processing of GPU tasks running on containers, and a node list management technique for container placement on appropriate nodes to ensure deadlines. Furthermore, we demonstrate from experiments that the proposed technique has a very small impact on the system.

  • Exercise is necessary for a healthy life, but it is recommended that it be conducted in a non-face-to-face environment in the context of an epidemic such as COVID-19. However, in the existing non-face-to-face exercise content, it is possible to recognize exercise movements, but the process of interpreting and providing feedback information is not automated. Therefore, in this paper, to solve this problem, we propose a method of creating a formalized rule to track the contents of exercise and the motions that constitute it. To make such a rule, first make a rule for the overall exercise content, and then create a tracking rule for the motions that make up the exercise. A motion tracking rule can be created by dividing the motion into steps and defining a key frame pose that divides the steps, and creating a transition rule between states and states represented by the key frame poses. The rules created in this way are premised on the use of posture and motion recognition technology using motion capture equipment, and are used for logical development for automation of application of these technologies. By using the rules proposed in this paper, not only recognizing the motions appearing in the exercise process, but also automating the interpretation of the entire motion process, making it possible to produce more advanced contents such as an artificial intelligence training system. Accordingly, the quality of feedback on the exercise process can be improved.

  • Skyline query is a scheme for exploring objects that are suitable for user preferences based on multiple attributes of objects. Existing skyline queries return search results as batch processing, but the need for real-time search results has increased with the advent of interactive apps or mobile environments. Online algorithm for Skyline improves the return speed of objects to explore preferred objects in real time. However, the object navigation process requires unnecessary navigation time due to repeated comparative operations. This paper proposes a Pre-processing Online Algorithm for Skyline Query (POA) to eliminate unnecessary search time in Online Algorithm exploration techniques and provide the results of skyline queries in real time. Proposed techniques use the concept of range-limiting to existing Online Algorithm to perform pretreatment and then eliminate repetitive rediscovering regions first. POAs showed improvement in standard distributions, bias distributions, positive correlations, and negative correlations of discrete data sets compared to Online Algorithm. The POAs used in this paper improve navigation performance by minimizing comparison targets for Online Algorithm, which will be a new criterion for rapid service to users in the face of increasing use of mobile devices.
