Now, a lot of regulations and laws related to traffic safety system on construction sites etc. are established, but can not display efficacy desirably. It brings about continuous economic loss due to human life accidents and delay. For the purpose of solving the problems, it is necessary to import systems such as traffic inducement Security (Japan) and traffic controller (CANADA, USA) This article suggest how improve civil safety and reduce Social cost. therefore This thesis aims at analyzing advanced cases of foreign countries, looking into Korean status, and presenting importing ways of traffic inducement Security appropriate to Korea. It is reasonable to grant grade1, grade2, and technical experts to traffic inducement Security who pass regulated educations and examinations. In addition, by reversing regulations and laws, it is necessary only those who have the licenses of traffic induction guarder etc. can establish construction sites and disordered places on roads. • The workers of limestone industry have relatively higher rate of accident and injury than other industry workers. This survey was conducted to provide the informations for the planning of safety and health educations to prevent the accident and injury. The purpose of this study is to identify the morbidity rate per month and to determine the related health factors, and to find accident experiences of the limestone workers and to analyze the reasons and types of that accidents. The study design was a descriptive survey. Self reporting questionnaires developed by researcher were used for data collection. The subjects of this study were 225 workers in limestone industries in Jecheon city. The statistical methods utilized for data analysis were frequency analysis, $x^2$-test with SPSS-pc(ver.9.0). The results are as follows, 1. The workers morbidity rate per month was 22%, and morbid factors were Flu., G-I trouble, hypertension, orthopedic trauma, external wound, burn, etc., and the related health factors are self-assessment for health, exercise, accessability for medical facilities. 2. 40% of the subjects have experienced the accidents during last 6 months. The types of the accidents were safety violations, traffic accidents and fire accidents. Injury types were external wounds, fracture/amputation and burn. The workers of limestone industry have higher morbidity rate and experiences of accidents. Therefore the more increased safety and health educations than now for both the workers and the managers are needed. And this study could be helpful to increase the quality and the quantity of the educations needed.

  • A traffic fatality by young people marked average annual decrease of 4.5% since 2011. Meanwhile, a traffic fatality by senior over 65 years old marked average annual increase of 7.9% for the last five years which means that the annual increase of traffic fatality by senior will be a serious problem. This study started questioning that senior drivers over 65 years old did not retain the same causal factor of fatal traffic accidents and thus extensively analyzed a risk of it by age group quantitatively, dividing the senior driver group into the early, middle and latter stages. Depending on the aging level, the risk of traffic fatality showed a wide difference in seven different types of traffic accidents generally, and happened to increase with latter and middle parts of the senior driver more than the early part. Therefore, this study proposes four policy suggestions: 1) The senior driver need to be offered customized driving educations and the improvement of road environment is also recommended. 2) Political assistance is needed to support and guide a safety related technology installation for the new or existing car. 3) Renewal of driving license and an aptitude test(physical examination, cognitive test) for drivers over 75 years old should take in a less than 3 years and an additional road test is needed as occasion demands. 4) Like the United States and Europe, development and extension of customized treatment guidebook for medical teams who examine senior drivers is needed and establishment of education and administration system that a supervisor of driving license renewal can impose safety restriction and American anonymity reporting system is considered to institutionalize in the medium to longer term.

A Study on Preparing Measures for Reducing Aggressive Driving and Road Rage by Analysing Mechanism of How the Driving Behavior Determinants and Dangerous Driving Behavior Factors Affect Aggressive Driving and Road Rage: Targeting Traffic Law Violator and Assaulter of a Traffic Accident (운전행동 결정요인과 위험운전 행동요인이 난폭운전과 보복운전에 미치는 메커니즘 분석을 통한 대책마련 연구: 교통법규위반자 및 교통사고야기자를 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare countermeasures for aggressive driving and road rage which have recently become a hot issue by analysing mechanism of how the driving behavior determinants(personal anger and aggression) and dangerous driving behavior factors(aggressive driving behavior and over-speeding driving behavior, drunk driving behavior, inattentive driving behavior, and inexperience driving behavior) affect aggressive driving and road rage. From the survey conducted by seven branches of the Road Traffic Authority with 351 people who were traffic offenders and drivers who caused car accidents, this study obtained three results as follows. First, seriousness of aggressive driving and road rage and requirements as types of customized educations, proper length of time for education, and contents of education can be understood. Second, specific relation and mechanism between the driving behavior determinants and dangerous driving behavior factors with respect to aggressive driving and road rage can be clearly identified, which helps to set order of priority and weighting of measures for reducing aggressive driving and road rage. Third, countermeasures can be categorized as corporate measures or customized measures through mechanism analysis model of aggressive driving and road rage.
