  • With the spread of Internet, e-business using Internet technology is being actively developed and operated. Currently, on behalf of the international e-business framework, International standard such as ebXML and Web Service is being advanced. We are able to publish and search business information through ebXML and Web Service and then actual trading between partners is accomplished. By the way, it is Registry that play an important part in e-business. Registry is an e-business infrastructure for enabling building, deploying, and the discovery of business Information. We can do e-business through Registries dynamically and share the resources. Representatives of Registry are ebXML and UDDI used as an international standard. We will meet with some problems when using Registries. ebXML Is focused on B2B collaborations and Web Service Is focused on application integrations. So we must use ebXML and Web Service characteristically, and sometimes use all at need. ebXML and Web Service contain business information by Registry specific way. So When using the services offered by ebXML and Web Service, we should access each Registry by using Registry specific tools. This thesis intended to integrate business information from ebXML Registry and UDDI Registry to accomplish e-business conveniently This thesis defined the common data model as well as integrated query language for integrated access to ebXML and Web Service along with design and implementation of the system.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate how investors in the Stock Exchange of Thailand practically trade in response to a magnitude of profits and losses, given a discussion of the widely well-known behavioral explanation, so called as the disposition effect. We provide empirical evidence of an existence of the V-shaped disposition effect, which has been recently found in several advanced equity markets. By adopting the methodology suggested by An's (2016) and Fama and Macbeth (1973), we document that stock return patterns in relation to aggregate unrealized gains and losses of investors are consistent with the V-shaped selling schedule, given an increase in unrealized gains and losses over the period of January 1996 to December 2015. The effect of unrealized gains is stronger than that of unrealized losses and this asymmetry underlies the existence of the V-shaped disposition effect in the Thai equity market. Interestingly, the effect of the V-shaped selling schedule is strongest over the short-term holding time horizon. Last but not the least, stocks for which investors have large unrealized gains and losses outperform in the following month and the long-short trading strategy, based on this premise, generates the average 1.7% monthly (equivalent to 20.0% per year) abnormal return.

  • Every single company in the world makes a huge amount of effort so as to not only cut down the physical distribution cost but promote the efficiency. In the government's respect, especially, they expect to maximize the synergy by unifying the physical distribution. For that reason, it relevant for all kinds of a distribution strategy to get rid of unnecessary distribution centers and to integrate distribution centers by unifying and rearranging the distribution centers that are hardly efficient. Most enterprises in Japan, related to making and distributive, have got a tendency to decentralize their distribution centers in a wide scope of the whole nation. In the meantime, they seem to get a move to become a great-sphere distribution center. Many similar cases in Korea, Koon-Po distribution center, Yong-In distribution center, are not expected to function properly. With a rate of trading products expanded, a new strategic physical distribution is needed to turn the way of depending on building up a new distribution center into the way of unifying and rearranging a distribution center. Therefore, this study aims to identify the optimal method of unifying and rearranging a distribution center, compared to the cost which takes place in a large number of distribution centers.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted with the goal of increasing research interest in H&B stores as a new distribution channel to identify factors influencing the revitalization of the H&B stores in Korea in distribution channels, in detail, the relationships among perceived values, satisfaction, trust, and loyalty. Research design, data and methodology: With 499 respondents, this study used exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis to verify the reliability and validity of measured variables. Multiple regression was employed as a statistical method for the hypotheses of the study. Results: According to the results of the analysis, H&B stores are targeted by female customers in their 20s and 30s. The findings showed that four perceived values affect store satisfaction and trust. Store satisfaction and trust have positive effects on loyalty. Comparing the two variables, store satisfaction had a slightly stronger effect on loyalty than on trust. Conclusions: This study identified the store’s diverse values for the revitalization of the H&B stores need to provide to customers. The stores need to form facilities that can enhance the value of shops perceived by customers, and to establish distribution strategies that can further increase store satisfaction, trust, and loyalty to expand trading areas as multi-brand shops.

  • Modern investment theory has empirically proved that stock returns can be explained by several factors such as market risk, firm size, and book-to-market ratio. Other unknown factors affecting stock returns are also believed to still exist yet to be found. We believe that one of such factors is the operational efficiency of firms in transforming inputs to outputs, considering the fact that operations is a fundamental and primary function of any type of businesses. To support this belief, this study intends to empirically study the relationship between firm efficiency and stock price performance. Firm efficiency is measured using data envelopment analysis (DEA) with inputs and outputs obtained from financial statements. We employ cross-efficiency evaluation to enhance the discrimination power of DEA with a secondary objective function of aggressive formulation. Using the CAPM-based performance regression model, we test the performance of equally weighted portfolios of different sizes selected based upon DEA cross-efficiency scores along with a buy & hold trading strategy. For the empirical test, we collect financial data of domestic firms listed in KOSPI over the period of 2000~2016 from well-known financial databases. As a result, we find that the porfolios with highly efficient firms included outperform the benchmark market portfolio after controlling for the market risk, which indicates that firm efficiency plays a important role in explaining stock returns.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the reaction of sharia stock in the Indonesian capital market to the global Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is an event study with a Market Adjusted Model (MAM) approach. The population of this study is shares listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX), with the sample chosen from the Jakarta Sharia (Islamic) Index. The result of this study found that the global Covid-19 pandemic is bad news, with the indicators as follows: a) the average expected return is negative; b) the average actual return is negative; c) the average abnormal return is negative, and d) the increase selling action of stock as a cut loss strategy. There is a negative abnormal return and significant Trading Volume Activity (TVA) before, during, and after the announcement of the global Covid-19 pandemic. However, this study found no difference in abnormal return and TVA before and after the announcement of the global Covid-19 pandemic. From these results, this study indicates that the sharia stocks in the capital market in Indonesia can respond quickly to the information that existed. Therefore, the capital market of Indonesia is a capital market with a semi-strong efficient form.

  • Investors aim to increase their profitability by investing in the stock market. An adroit strategy for minimizing related risk lies through diversifying portfolio operationalization. In this paper, we propose a six-step stocks portfolio selection model. This model is based on data mining clustering techniques that reflect the ensuing impact of the political, economic, legal, and corporate governance in Mongolia. As a dataset, we have selected stock exchange trading price, financial statements, and operational reports of top-20 highly capitalized stocks that were traded at the Mongolian Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017. In order to cluster the stock returns and risks, we have used k-means clustering techniques. We have combined both k-means clustering with Markowitz's portfolio theory to create an optimal and efficient portfolio. We constructed an efficient frontier, creating 15 portfolios, and computed the weight of stocks in each portfolio. From these portfolio options, the investor is given a choice to choose any one option.

  • The hybrid wind-solar energy concept has a big influence on the spread of wind and solar power projects in India since it combines the benefits of both industries while also providing extra benefits such as resource sharing such as land, infrastructure, and power evacuation systems. Furthermore, while the hybrid policy may reduce certain barriers to the installation of wind and solar energy in India, there are still some issues that must be resolved rapidly in order to ensure a sustainable installation. According to the study's findings, the installation of wind and solar power plants is significantly influenced by energy policy. The wind-solar hybrid energy strategy will also be crucial in the near future for growing the usage of renewable energy sources. Aside from that, the establishment of Green Energy Open Access (GEOA) and the restart of the trading of Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) would promote the quick deployment of standalone and hybrid renewable power projects throughout the nation, enabling it to reach 500 GW of installed non-fossil energy capacity by 2030.

  • The growth of international trade and the formation of supranational economic and political trading blocks have noticeably widened the presence on the market of products of different national origins. This has stimulated interest in explaining the Country-of-Origin (COO) role in domestic and international markets and its consequences on consumer behaviour. Since the consumer purchasing decisions can be decisive to the success of a company's strategy in domestic and foreign markets, the objective of this study is to present empirical evidence on the extent to which reputation of firms associated to a certain COO are related to consumer purchase intention. Additionally our study considers ethnocentrism as a variable that partially explains the rejection of imports products based on its foreign origin. The empirical application of the proposed model is related to the purchase of Korean automobiles which represents 5.7% of the national market share in Spain. Structural equation modelling was used to analyse the data collected from 202 personal interviews carried out in a large Spanish region. The results show that reputation of firms associated to a certain COO in an important factor to establish business relationships involving consumers and firms from different countries and increase intentions to purchase Korean products. Additionally, ethnocentric consumers prefer to purchase domestic products rather than foreign imports as an attempt to protect national economy however the negative effect of ethnocentrism is weaker than positive effect of firms reputation of a COO.
