대중매체에 나타난 트랙 슈트(Track Suit)의 상징성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Symbolism of Track Suits Shown in Mass Media)

  • The purpose of this research is to examine track suits which appear in mass media and to attempt to understand their embedded symbolism. Hence, a theoretical inquiry and case study on suit tracks were carried out. The case study was confined to the period since 2000, when sportswear emerged as a megatrend in fashion, to 2012. Occurrences of track suits in film, TV dramas, music videos, advertisements, and fashion collections were examined. Research indicated that the track suits in film or TV drama worked as items to give a change to coordination, material and decoration, so that the track suits highlighted the characters in them rather than emphasizing external factors or their own design. They were used as tools to indicate the sensual and dynamical feminine image in the rap and hip hop genres in music video. They also showed the dynamic image of modern woman via advertisements of sports brands. In the case of celebrity fashion, both inside and outside Korea, they introduced the track suits in a comfortable and sensual manner through both official and unofficial image releases. In the fashion collections, transboundary deconstructiveness was strongly expressed in terms of design, material, color, and production method. The case study in this research indicated that the symbolism in track suits was characterized as transboundary deconstruction as well as value in dynamic femininity, and products from reactionary nostalgia.

A Study of Wheel Tread Spalling Problem of $DF_{21}$ Locomotive

  • $DF_{21}$ diesel locomotive was designed to satisfy the requirement of Kunming Meter track and the 2Co self-guided radial bogie was used to suit the complex curve track. There are totally 12 locomotives was served on the track. The first two locomotives were devotion running on the track since April 2003, the wheel tread splling was occurred on the middle wheel set of the two locomotives after running nearly 150 thousands km on the track of the two locomotives at August 2004. The dynamic analysis was carried out to find the reason. The wheel set longitudinal vibration resonance phenomenon was existed on the locomotive dynamic performance, and this was caused by the too big longitudinal stiffness of the journal box bar on the middle wheel set. Wheel set longitudinal vibration resonance maybe an important reason of lead to wheel tread spalling. The corresponding mend methods were put forward from the point of view of wheel set longitudinal vibration resonance. All the wheel tread of the 12 locomotives on the middle wheel set were in good condition and not occurred the wheel tread spalling after the mend till December 2007 after 350 thousands km were finished. The mechanism of the wheel tread splling and corresponding mend method was discussed in detail in this paper.

남인도양에서의 해수면에 대한 위성자료(Topex/Poseidon 고도계)와 현장자료(Tide Gauge 해면계)간의 비교 (Comparison of Topex/Poseidon sea levels data and Tide Gause sea levels data from the South Indian Ocean)

  • According to standard procedures as defined in the users handbook for sea level data processes, I was compared to Topex/poseidon sea level data from the first 350days of mission and Tide Gauge sea level data from the Amsterdam- Crozet- Kerguelen region in the South Indian Ocean. The comparison improves significantly when many factors for the corrections were removed, then only the aliased oceanic tidal energy is removed by oceanic tide model in this period. Making the corrections and smoothing the sea level data over 60km along-track segments and the Tide Gauge sea level data for the time series results in the digital correlation and RMS difference between the two data of c=-0.12 and rms=11.4cm, c=0.55 and rms=5.38cm, and c=0.83 and rms=2.83cm for the Amsterdam, Crozet and Kerguelen plateau, respectively. It was also found that the Kerguelen plateau has a comparisons due to propagating signals(the baroclinic Rossby wave with velocity of -3.9~-4.2cm/sec, period of 167days and amplitude of 10cm) that introduce temporal lags($\tau$=10~30days) between the altimeter and tide gauge time series. The conclusion is that on timescales longer than about 10days the RMS sea level errors are less than or of the order of several centimeters and are mainly due to the effects of currents rather than the effects of sterics(water temperature, density) and winds.

가변 F/수 삼중 배율 적외선 광학계 설계 연구 (Design of Variable F-number and Triple Magnification Infrared Optical System)

  • 본 논문에서는 적외선 탐색 및 추적 기능을 수행하는 광각 주사 광학계와 표적의 전자광학 추적 기능을 수행하는 협/중시계 광학계의 기능이 통합된 가변 F/수 삼중 배율 적외선 광학계를 설계하였다. 기존 광각 주사 광학계를 기반으로 무한 초점 광학계를 전단부에 설계하여 협/중시계 기능을 수행할 수 있는 광학계를 구현하였다. 시스템 성능 분석을 통해 성능 목표를 설정하고, 이를 바탕으로 광학계 설계를 위한 설계 사양을 도출하였으며, F/수가 다른 광학계를 추가하기 위해 조리개 크기를 줄여주는 웜 스톱을 적용하였고, 설계된 광학계에 적합하도록 세부 형상을 설계하였다. 설계 완료된 협/중시계 광학계 설계 결과를 분석하여 MTF (modulation transfer function)와 같은 목표 성능을 만족하는 것을 확인하였으며 운용성을 고려하여 비열화와 표적 거리에 따른 초점 렌즈군의 이동량을 분석하였고, 이를 통해 광역 탐색 및 추적 기능과 정밀 추적 및 3차원 정보 획득 기능이 통합된 단일 광학 시스템의 구현이 가능함을 확인하였다.

남인도양의 해수면 변화 특성 (Characteristics on sea level variations in the South Indian Ocean)

  • 남인도양의 암스테르담- 크호제트- 케르겔른 지역에서의 Topex/Poseidon의 고도계 자료와 Tide Gauge의 해면계 자료를 상호 비교 및 검정하였다. 8개 주요 조석성분들의 진폭의 변통성과 관련하여 해양조석모델의 결과와 조화분해해석의 결과간의 미소한 차이는 궁극적으로 수온, 밀도 및 바람보다는 주로 남극순환해류의 흐름에 영향을 받다. 두 자료간의 상관관계(correlation coefficient)와 편차(rms)를 보면, 암스테르담 대지지역에서는 c=-0.12 및 rms=11.40cm, 크호제트 대지지역에서는 c=0.05 및 rms=5.38cm, 케르겔른 대지지역에서는 c=0.83 및 rms=2.83cm로 그리고 케르겔른 해안지역에서는 c=0.24 및 rms=6.72cm로 각각 나타났다. 이 중 케르겔른 대지지역이의 높은 상관성은 해안지역으로부터 멀어질수록 정도 높은 고도계의 자료를 획득할 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 케르겔른 해안지역과 케르겔른 대지지역의 해수면의 변화의 특성은 2일 상의 장주기에 대해서는 상호 높은 상관성과 함께 유사한 해수면의 변화를 가진다. 케르겔른 대지지역 내에서는 유속이 -3.9~-4.2cm/sec이고 주기가 167days 그리고 진폭이 10cm인 바로크리닉 로쓰비파가 서쪽으로 전파한다.
