초음파 영상에서의 스페클 잡음 제거 및 에지 검출 (Speckle noise removing and edge detection in ultrasonic images)

  • In this paper, variable windowing mean filter to remove speckle noise and a measure to detect thin edge in ultrasonic images are proposed. Because ultrasonic images are corrupted by speckle noise showing a granular appearance, good edge detection is difficult. As a result, noise removing filter is needed in preprocessing stage. The speckle noise removing filter is based on mean filter whose window size is changed by the ratio of standard deviation to mean for image signal and noise signal in local area. And the measure expressed the difference of means between tow windows is used for detecting thin edge in filtered image. Results show that variable windowing mean filter removes speckle noise effectively, and proposed measure is useful in detecting thin edge.

  • Adaptive resonance theory (ART2) characterized by its built-in mechanism of handling the stability-plasticity switching and by the adaptive learning without forgetting informations learned in the past, is based on an unsupervised template matching. We propose an improved tow-stage learning algorithm for aRT2: the original unsupervised learning followed by a new supervised learning. Each of the output nodes, after the unsupervised learning, is labeled according to the category informations to reinforce the template pattern associated with the target output node belonging to the same category some dominant classes from exhausting a finite number of template patterns in ART2 inefficiently. Experimental results on a set of 2545 FLIR images show that the ART2 trained by the two-stage learning algorithm yields better accuracy than the original ART2, regardless of th esize of the network and the methods of evaluating the accuracy. This improvement shows the effectiveness of the two-stage learning process.

  • Moire interferometry using a diffraction grating and a laser is a powerful technique for analizing small deformation of a specimen. In the method, the x and y-directional fringe patterns are obtained by using the x and y-directional sets of two beams. If the both sets of two beams are simultaneously incident to the specimen, the x and y-directional fringe patterns are super imposed. In this case, it is difficult to separate each directional fringe pattern. Therefore each fringe pattern has been separately recorded by selecting each set of two beams. In order to analyze a two-dimensional strain changing with time, Moire interferometry using the two-dimensional fourier transform method is proposed and the x and y-directional fringes are separated. By this method, the thermal deformation of a glass plate is analyzed.

蘇骨과 骨蘇 (A Study on Sokol(蘇骨) and Kolso(骨蘇))

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the key features of Sokol(蘇骨) and Kolso(骨蘇) and to determined the relation between sokol and kolso. A Comparative linguistical method was used for the analysis of this resarch. Also, sokol(蘇骨) and julpoong(折風) were examined to determine the relationship between the sokol and the julpoong. Results of this study indicated that the sokol and the kolso were identical head covering used by the nobility of Koguryo. The characteristics features of the sokol and kolso were that these tow head coverings wee made of purple ra(羅) and were decorated with gold and silver. The investigation found that the sokol and the kolso were not of Koguryo's native words. These words were derived from this neighboring words. The sokol and kolso were transliterations of neighboring words. The sokol and julpoong were different head coverings: The sokol was for the nobility while the julpoong was for a man of lowly position.

시동불능 자동차에서 발생한 화재의 원인 분석 연구 (A Study on Cause Analysis of a Fire that Broke Out on a No-start Motor Vehicle)

  • It is often thought that because no-start motor vehicles cannot start an engine, a fire cannot occur for motor vehicle causes. However, although the engine cannot start up, some parts may be live with electricity if a battery is connected. If the parts have problems, a fire can occur. This study analyzed the causes of fires occurring when a motor vehicle was loaded onto a tow truck to service no-start. It is suggested that no-start motor vehicles should separate a battery terminal to prevent a fire. And this fire is related to automotive products liability.

  • The main object of this study was to clarify the concept, scheme, an dimensions of the clothing evaluatie criteria, and to organize its theoretical framework accordingly. The research was carried out in tow ways. The first research was investigated by the critical evaluation of the existing literature, while the other research was investigated by an empirical survey study. The questionnaire was developed for the empirical study. The questionnaire was administered to 640 housewives living in Seoul area during the fall of 1988. Social wear was selected according to the defined times, place, and occasion. As a result of the literature study, the first research problem, the clothing evaluative criteria was loud to exist at three different level - benefit level, element level, and intemediate level -. The colthing evaluative criteria at the benefit le·eel were loud to include four different dimensions-fashionbility, status symbolism, practicality, and economy. The validity of the benefit dimensions was established by the empirical confirmation utilizing factor analysis technique.

  • Natural modes and responses of floating structures under wave loads are analyzed by direct method considering the stiffness of unit connections. Tow types of connection such as tandem connection and side by side connection are considered in numerical examples. By analyzing natural modes and connection forces, influences of connection stiffness on responses of floating structures are investigated.

  • Irradiation of 1 , 4-diphenylbut-1-en-3-yne 1 and some p-quinones in dichloromethane with 300nm UV light yield tow types of adducts, i.e., p-quinomethanes and cyclobutanes, in which the former were produced via the rearrangement of the intially formed spiro-oxetene intermediates. On the other hadn 1 added to o-quinones to give three types of adducts, i.e., 1, 3-dienes, 1, 4-dioxenes, or spiro-oxetanes, in which the former were found to be applied to synthesize phenanthrene derivatives. A methoxy derivative of enyne 39 was synthesized to investigate the type of thephotoaddition to o-quinones, in which 1, 4-dioxenes were obatained.

  • 토양수분조건에 따른 공극(孔隙) 크기별 분포(分布)의 변화를 구명하기 위하여 Vertisol과 Alfisol을 가지고 수분조건(水分條件)이 각각 0.033MPa, 1.5Mpa 및 건조상태(乾燥狀態)에서 동결건조(凍結乾燥)시켜 수은(水銀) 침투법(浸透法)과 보수력(保水力)으로 공극(孔隙)의 크기별 분포(分布)를 측정(測定)하였다. 수은(水銀) 침투법(浸透法)으로 측정한 공극량은 보수력법(保水力法)보다 대공극량(大孔隙量)이 많았고 냉동건조전(冷凍乾燥前)의 수분조건(水分條件)에 따라서도 공극분포(孔隙分布)는 큰 차이가 있었다.

  • There are lots of soft ground improvement methods which is consist of different materials. In the analysis and design, composite ground method is usually regarded. Composite ground method considers the area replacement ratio as a key parameter to combine the physical and mechanical characteristics of tow different material. In this study, using composite material consist of three different materials which have different diameters, series of specific gravity test were performed according to KS F 2308, to investigate the applicability of composite ground method. As a result, it is found that composite material which is consist of fine grained soil and granular soil has a high applicability of composite ground method. This result means that, in estimating of ground properties of composite material which is consist of similar fine grained material such as cement mixing etc., composite ground method has a less applicability.
