지역 농특산물에 대한 구매의사가 여행자의 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향 - 충남 예산지역을 중심으로 - (The Effects of Local Agricultural/special Products on the Intention for Tourists to Revisit the Yesan Area)

  • Rural tourism is primarily a domestic tourism activity with visitors traveling to non-urban areas. The development of local and regionally denominate food is a way to distinguish agricultural production and to promote rural tourism. Therefore, this study addressed how utilizing regional agricultural products results in increasing the intention of tourists to revisit an area. The purposes of this study were 1) to identify the image and motives for visiting Yesan, 2) to determine the importance of purchasing intention and the regional menu produced from local agricultural/special products, and 3) to identify the impact of purchasing local agricultural/special products and regional menus on the intention to revisit. A total of 202 usable questionnaires were collected at Ducksan Hotsprings and Suduck Temple in Yean area, which are known tourist attractions. The major findings obtained were as follows: First, Yesan was considered a relaxing place ($3.46{\pm}1.09$), which was the highest ranked image score for a tourist attraction. Second, the highest ranked motive for visiting Yesan was to rest ($3.77{\pm}1.18$). According to these findings, Yesan is a relaxing place, as it is a rural area with no known defined attractions. Third, most tourists (78.7%) recognized the apple as a local agricultural/special product. The intentions to purchase local agricultural/special products and the need for regional dishes in the local restaurant was higher than average. Tourists showed interests ($3.88{\pm}1.16$) in eating regional dishes made with local agricultural/special products at the restaurants. Fourth, a significant impact of purchasing local agricultural/special products and the regional menu was observed on the intention to revisit (p<0.000). The results indicate that it is very important to develop proper regional menus that concur with images of the location and the regional farming products.

  • Being located in the east of the Mediterranean Sea, Cyprus used to play a bridge role of cultural exchanges between the East and the West during period of being occupied. As a consequence the fact that the style of costume might be changed at certain levels during the time is broadly accepted. Basic structure of Cypriot men's clothes during the late of the 19th century to the middle of 20th century is composed of\circled1 baggy trousers(vraka) \circled2 shirt(chemise) \circled3 jacket(ziboune/zibouna) \circled4 waistcoat(yilekko) \circled5 headdress(fez, kourouklin) \circled6 accessories. General composition of women's wear is \circled1 pantaloons(vrandzin) \circled2 shift(poukamiso) \circled3 outer garment(sayia, foustani, Amalia, costume) \circled4 waist kerchief(mandili tis koxas)\circled5 boots(podines)/pumps(goves) \circled6 scarves and accessories. As reviewed above, although men's clothes are still worn on a day to day basis, women's wear continues to exist only for festivals or as a tourist attraction. It was understood that this was an accepted consequence of 20th century modernization and reformation.

  • This study was to analyze amenity of the port landscapes for North port, South port, and Gamcheon port in Busan. Amenity related variables came from Semantic Differential(SD) method and then were conducted by the factor analysis. Multiple regression was done for the relationship between the amenity and factors. The result found 3 factors, including dynamics, stability, and familarity. Much importance was placed on dynamics among them. Therefore, building port landscapes and their image attracting tourists should consider dynamics in terms of port landscape plan and tourist attraction development for amenity quality management.

감정 딥러닝 필터를 활용한 토픽 모델링 방법론 (Topic Modeling with Deep Learning-based Sentiment Filters)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to propose a methodology to derive positive keywords and negative keywords through deep learning to classify reviews into positive reviews and negative ones, and then refine the results of topic modeling using these keywords. Design/methodology/approach In this study, we extracted topic keywords by performing LDA-based topic modeling. At the same time, we performed attention-based deep learning to identify positive and negative keywords. Finally, we refined the topic keywords using these keywords as filters. Findings We collected and analyzed about 6,000 English reviews of Gyeongbokgung, a representative tourist attraction in Korea, from Tripadvisor, a representative travel site. Experimental results show that the proposed methodology properly identifies positive and negative keywords describing major topics.

동해시 민박업실태에 관한 연구 (A study on the homestay in Donghae City)

  • This study focuses on analyzing the present conditions of homestay in Donghae, which helps to increase the fishing and agrarian villages' income and offer a low-priced lodging facility to tourists. Furthmore it tries to find the related problems and to suggest the solutions. For this purpose, homestsy businesses in Donghae city was surveyed by the questionnaire. Frequency analysis and Cross table analysis of the collected 97 questionnaries were conducted by the SPSS, and the related problems were found as follows. After homestay business turned to the liberal business, professional homestay businessmen appeared and conflicts between farmer and professional businessman came out. And there's a limitation on providing subsidiary facilities and services for the local businesses because of their financial difficulty and on-off season. Therefore to develop “fishing and agrarian villages' homestay businesses” well-defined standards of homestay is required. Then to provide subsidiary facility, services and special programs activation of homestay association is necessary. Finally, to attract tourists, local government's tourist attraction policy is needed.

  • This paper deals with the exchange of tourists and the operation of sightseeing train encouraged by the inter- Korean cross-border railway project. First of all, how the inter-Korean cross-border railway project has developed will be discussed. After this, tile present tourism state, facilities, the state of railways and roads of North Korea, and major tourist attraction around the Kyonguisun will be shown. And then, several aspects on the agreements between the Korean National Railroad (KORAIL) and North Korean railroad system will be summarized. And, finally, the economic effect of the line including the operation schedule of the Kyonguisun sightseeing train, the demand forecast, the computation of railway fare, and profit sharing will be depicted.

농촌어메니티자원 정보서비스를 위한 Ontology를 활용한 외부정보 통합방안 (Integration with External Information Using Ontology for Rural Amenity Resources Information Service)

  • Rural amenity resources consist of natural, cultural and social resources. Some of resources have been surveyed in other institutes and organizations and information system about these resources has been constructed. Integrating with information of existing system or database is helpful to produce useful rural amenity resources information to users. This integration of distributed information is based on semantic integration. In this paper, we used ontology for semantic integration and introduced the method of external information integration using ontology. We designed ontology table to represent ontology in database and integrated distributed information using ontology. To examine the improvement of information service efficiency and the applicability, rural amenity resources information and tourist attraction information database were constructed and integrated. Also, the information service efficiency with information integration was evaluated using recall ratio and compared to the information service efficiency without information integration.

  • u-City 환경에서 사용자 맞춤형 국토정보를 제공하기 위해 대용량의 데이터를 효과적으로 분석할 수 있는 데이터마이닝 기법이 적용되고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 데이터마이닝 기법 중 연관분류기법을 적용하여 사용자 맞춤형 관광명소 추천 시스템을 개발하였다. 특히, CPFP-tree를 이용하여 빈발항목집합 탐사에 대한 시간을 단축하였으며, 연관분류를 통해 보다 높은 정확도로 결과를 예측 및 분류할 수 있게 하였다. 제시한 시스템은 공간정보에 대해 사용자 맞춤 서비스를 제공할 수 있음을 보였으며, 다양한 시나리오 적용을 통해 맞춤형 국토정보화 기술의 기반이 될 수 있다.

  • 최근 여가활동에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있으며, 모바일 인프라가 널리 보급되었다. 하지만 공유되는 정보의 양이 급속하게 증가함에 따라 원하는 정보를 정확하게 얻는 것은 쉽지 않다. 본 논문은 한국관광공사의 Open API를 이용하여 보다 객관적이고 정확한 관광 명소의 정보를 안드로이드 폰에서 볼 수 있도록 제공하고, 더불어 사용자의 취향에 알맞은 관광 명소를 추천해주는 시스템을 소개한다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to explore Laos mysterious 'Plain of Jars' area in a village. 'The Plain of Jars' site has been proposed for listing as a UNESCO World Heritage Monument. The study used convenience sampling and surveyed tourists who visited Tonghahin in Xieng Khouang. The results of this study are summarized as follows: First, Tonghahin is introduction stage from the tourism life cycle due to lack of basic infrastructure such as road condition, transportation, information service, etc,. Second, this study examined the ways to improve methods such as adminstration system and hospitality service manual for tourist site. Thereafter, third, to develop each attraction, they have come with better tourism products. These things are foresight-able to-do list for nomination as the UNESCO World Heritage. The recommendations and suggestions for future research are also discussed.
