자기 폐회로를 갖는 마그네트 기어의 변수 설계 (Parameter Design of The Magnet Gear with A Closed Magnetic Path)

  • A novel topology for the magnet gear is proposed in this study. Differently from the existing methods, both sides of magnet array in this topology are used, resulting in increasing the efficiency of the mechanism. The closed magnetic path between the magnetic elements decreases the leakage flux, so the interlinking magnetic flux through the air-gap is focused and intensified. This paper discusses the dominant parameters of the proposed magnet gear influencing the resulting transmission torque. The parameters are designed from the sensitivity analysis using the commercial FEM analysis tool. And, the test setup for verifying the performance of the system is described.

  • In this study, the effects of water vapor in inlet air on combustion efficiency, general performance, knock characteristics and emission gas concentration were investig- ated through the experiments of combustion and vibration analyses, emission gas analysis by changing water vapor quantity in inlet air with temperature and humidity auto control unit. With partial vapor pressure increase, the brake torque at wide open throttle status decreased and the average ignition delay angle increased, IMEP (indicated mean effective pressured using the integral and 3rd derivatives of filtered cylinder pressure as knock intensity, which matched well with the method of frequency power spectrum of block vibration signal. Water vapor in intake air had influence on the spark knock sensitivity. With the increase of water vapor content in intake air NOx emission was decreased and HC emission was increased.

  • Vector control schemes are used in inverter-fed induction motor drives to obtain high performance. Crucial to the success of the vector control scheme is the knowledge of the instantaneous position of the rotor flux. However, the position of the rotor flux change with temperature and magnetic saturation of the motor. This variation cause deterioration of both steady state and dynamic operation of the motor drives. Performance degradation is in the form of input-output torque nonlinearity and saturation of the motor. Analytic expressions are derived to evaluate the effects due to parameter sensitivity. Also, dynamic response is shown by speed command with the variation of stator and rotor resistance.

  • This paper presents a vector control method for the parallel-connected motor drive system. In this paper new estimation scheme of rotor flux position is presented to reduce sensitivity due to load difference between the motors. To confirm the validity of the proposed control method, we compare a simulation result of the proposed control method with that of the conventional indirect vector control method. The simulation results show that the proposed control method is effective the step change in load torque.

  • In this paper, we presents a vector control method for the parallel-connected motor drive system.   • This paper presents a nonlinear sliding mode control (SMC) scheme with a variable damping ratio for interior permanent magnet synchronous motors (IPMSMs). First, a nonlinear sliding surface whose parameters change continuously with time is designed. Actually, the proposed SMC has the ability to reduce the settling time without an overshoot by giving a low damping ratio at the initial time and a high damping ratio as the output reaches the desired setpoint. At the same time, it enables a fast convergence in finite time and eliminates the singularity problem with the upper bound of an uncertain term, which cannot be measured in practice, by using a simple adaptation law. To improve the efficiency of a system in the constant torque region, the control system incorporates the maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) algorithm. The stability of the nonlinear sliding surface is guaranteed by Lyapunov stability theory. Moreover, a simple sliding mode observer is used to estimate the load torque and system uncertainties. The effectiveness of the proposed nonlinear SMC scheme is verified using comparative experimental results of the linear SMC scheme when the speed reference and load torque change under system uncertainties. From these experimental results, the proposed nonlinear SMC method reveals a faster transient response, smaller steady-state speed error, and less sensitivity to system uncertainties than the linear SMC method.

  • Hydraulic power steering system has been adopted in seniority passenger and commercial vehicle system for an easy maneuverability and a smoother ride. In this study, hydraulic power steering system analysis model which includes hydraulics and mechanical sub-systems was developed using commercial software, AMESim in order to predict characteristics for various steering components. Each component which constructs system was modeled and verified by experimentally obtained characteristics curves of each components. The parameter sensitivity analysis such as valve opening area, torsional stiffness of torsion bar for system design are carried out by the analysis and experimental method. The predicted results by the development model were a good agreement with experimentally obtained results. The sensitivity investigation results rotary torque when changing an input shaft edge width, was most sensitive, to change in angle and slot width and supply flow of input shaft edge is not a lot sensitively.

  • 본 연구는 최근 AC서보 구동용으로 각광을 받고 있는 영구자석 동기전동기의 속도제어기를 자속 제어기법에 의한 PWM인버터로 구현하여 최대토오크 감도운전이 되도록 하는데 있다. 회전자의 위치및 속도 검출기로서는 레졸버및 레졸버-디지탈변환기(RDC)를 통해 디지탈값의 위치및 속도정보로 변환한다. 이것을 정보로 하여 자속 기준기법에 의한 토오크분 전류를 항상 영구자석의 자계에 직교가 되도록하여 최대토오크 운전이 되도록 하였다. 또한 제안한 제어이론으로 정현파 PWM인버터를 실현시키고 부하토오크에 대한 보상방법으로 고정자 전류를 제어기측에 궤환시켜 정상상태 특성을 나타내었다. 위와같은 제어이론을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 얻은 고정자 전류 및 속도응답 특성 등 영구자석 동기전동기의 동 특성을 검토하여 정상상태하에서 운전특성이 개선된 결과를 제시하였다.

  • This study was designed to satisfy induced voltage limits considering drive's specifications and optimize design reducing usage of permanent magnet, by increasing salient poles ratio, when designing 150kW IPMSM. In order to achieve these objectives, design plans were determined, based on Ld and Lq parameters of a basic design model, according to changes in salient poles ratio and flux linkage using IPMSM's voltage equation and torque equation and then, required torque and induced voltage were analyzed using Sensitivity Analysis. Based on analysis data, the optimum design was performed and basic model's characteristics were compared to final model's through Gradient-Based Optimization Technique.

무철심 영구자석 직류 모터를 이용한 진동자 개발 (Development of Vibration Motor Using Coreless Permanent Magnet DC Motor)

  • With a remarkable expansion of communication industry, a pager or a cellular phone becomes a necessary communication device in modern society. However, a paging signal by a buzzer is often acted as an unpleasant noise in some places, thus necessitating a paging signal by a vibration motor. In this paper, a simpler type of a vibration motor, a coreless permanent magnet(PM) DC motor, is considered to substitute for the conventional vibration motors. Using an analytical method, electromagnetic field and operating torque were calculated for the given inner and outer PM type motors, and the results were confirmed by FEM analysis. As design parameters, number of PM poles, PM radial thickness, coil arc angle and number of winding stacks were chosen for sensitivity analysis. It shows that coil arc angle is the most important design parameter to increase the motor performance, without giving an adverse effect on motor weight, size and manufacturing cost. Based on the analysis of the outer PM type motor, an outer square PM type motor is proposed as the final design. Compared to the outer PM type, outer square type provides more flexibility to attach to the small size cellular phones. With the optimum design of square outer PM DC motor, it can successfully substitute the conventional types with less expensive manufacturing cost. better performance and smaller necessary space.
