  • Since the introduction of DNA microarray, a revolutionary high through-put biological technology, a lot of papers have been published to deal with the analyses of the gene expression data from the microarray. In this paper we review most papers relevant to the cDNA microarray data, classify them in statistical methods' point of view, and present some statistical methods deserving consideration and future study.

  • Genomics, proteomics, high through-put 기술 등 다양한 기초생물, 의학, 유기화학 분야의 기술 발전을 통하여 신약의 개발 속도는 최근 들어 급격히 가속도가 붙기 시작하고 있다. 그 결과 신약 후보 물질들의 수가 급증하고 있는 추세이다. 현재는 약 3,000-10,000개 정도의 신약 후보 물질 중 약 5-10개 정도의 물질이 임상 phase Ⅰ에 들어가고, 그 중 약 1개 정도의 신약이 최종적으로 얻어지는 것으로 알려져 있다. 스크린이 된 신약 후보 물질이 실질적인 신약으로 탄생하려면 많은 연구과정을 거쳐야 하는데, 고형 경구제제와 같은 제제 연구가 그 중 중요한 부분의 하나이다.(중략)

  • BLDCMs are widely used in many industries. In certain specialized areas, they need to have high efficiency, high power rate and produce a low volume of noise, etc. In this study, a new type of slotless BLDCM is proposed that has no cogging torque, low iron loss and low volume as compared to commonly used BLDCMs. With a high performance magnet and coreless compact winding structure similar to those employed in linear synchronous motors, motor volume is reduced. The proposed motor has been put been through various experiments arid has demonstrated acceptable results for industry applications.

  • Litrex Ink Jet equipment offers prospect for reliable and low cost manufacturing process for PLED technology. The design concept of 140P system that we are developing meets requirement of process/equipment for PLED manufacturing line in terms of higher mechanical accuracy, in-line monitoring system of print head, high precision of process capability, reasonable through-put, high reliability/easier maintenance and no particle generation.

  • Started to get over the political difficulties, Juhee put his heart into solving the mystery of "I-Chingchamdonggye", and the final answer he got was right this. In his coordinate ideology system, he positioned "I-Chingchamdonggye", in other word Dan. No, actually he reconfirmed the uprightness of his ideology system through "I-Chingchamdonggye" and Dan. Justness of Juhee's scholarship which was accused to be false study is ascertained even in trifling Dan and the classics of Dan. The fruit seems to be "I-Chingchamdonggyegoi".

  • A seeder monitoring system was developed to remove the uneasiness of mis-sowing that drop operations efficiency at sowing-work and to make reliable and stable work. The objectives of this study are to investigate that the system developed is applicable to sowing soybean seeds and scattering fertilizer and to evaluate performance of the system developed through the indoor test and the indoor test and the field test before it is propelled to put the system developed to practical use.

  • Nowdays switching software designs are based on the concept of maximizing efficiency. This idea is to put through the most call, in the fastest time, using the fewest possible resources.   • In this paper, a new large scale ATM switch architecture for Broadband ISDN is presented and its performance is analyzed mathematically. The proposed two-stage ATM switch consists of a sorting network and several unit switches. The proposed switch is self-routing and nonlocking. Its maximum through put is 100% without speed up which other output buffered switch needs. The hardware complexity mainly depends on that of a sorting network, but sorting network is easy to be implemented to VLSI because of its regularity in the structure.

  • CBR is a knowledge-based system that utilizes the previous knowledge or experience to solve the current problem. In previous CBR research, the emphases are mainly put on the development of more sophisticated indexing mechanism for past cases or the most similar case retrieving methodology out of a group of previous cases. In this paper, discussed is a CBR system that is able to take advantage of the case or knowledge that does not belong to the past in the telecommunications internetworking design area. And the architecture for such CBR system is proposed. Finally, the performance of the CBR system is shown through an ablation experiment.
