Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the efficacy of external preparation containing herbal extract(Sophorae Radix, Aurantii Immaturus Fructus, Schizonepetae Spica, Forsythia fructus and Portulacea Herba) on atopic dermatitis patients. Methods : A total of 33 patients who visited the Dept. of Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology & Dermatology of Korean Medicine of Korean Medical hospital of Daejeon university from February 2012 to February 2013 were engaged in this study. Patients who corresponded the requirements were enrolled in the study. This study shows symptom comparisons before and after the use of this product. Effectiveness was evaluated through SCORAD(SCORing Atopic Dermatitis) Index, and the quality of life scale was conducted through Skindex-29. Results : 1. Comparison of the general changes through SCORAD Index indicated that the experimental group showed more statistically significant declines than the placebo group after the two-week use. 2. Comparison of changes in intensity criteria(Erythema, Edema, Oozing, Excoriation) through SCORAD Index indicated that the experimental group showed more statistically significant declines than the placebo group after the two-week use. 3. Comparison of changes in subjective symptoms through SCORAD Index indicated that the experimental group showed no statistically remarkable changes. 4. Comparison of changes in the body parts(Upperlimb) through SCORAD Index indicated the experimental group showed statistically significant changes after the two-week use. 5. Comparison of the general changes in quality of life through Skindex-29 indicated that the total score from experimental group showed statistically significant changes after the four-week use. Conclusions: This study, evaluated through SCORAD Index, indicated that the treatment with the external preparation containing herbal extract has a statistically marginal significance of efficacy on atopic dermatitis patients in the short term.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of environmental education program through various instructional media on pro-environmental attitudes of forth graders in an elementary school in Seoul. The students were divided into an experimental group and a control group. A questionnaire was used to survey the effects of applying environmental education program through various instructional media. The SPSS 12.0 program was used to analyze the results. The student in the experimental group acquired a higher level of pro-environmental attitudes than the control group did. The environmental education program through various instructional media used in this study were effective especially in dealing with the environmental educational subdomains such as verbal commitment, actual commitment, affect. The major results of this study were as follows. First, environmental education program through various instructional media had a positive effect on the environmental concerns and needs for learning of environmental problems. Second, the group by environmental education program through various instructional media showed the significant difference(p<.001) on the pro-environmental attitudes as it proved those are effect on 3 subdomains of verbal commitment, actual commitment and affect. Third, environmental education program through various instructional media had a positive correlation(from 585 to .680) among the 3 subdomains of verbal commitment, actual commitment and affect. So, students who hold verbal commitment showed good effect on the actual commitment and affect. In conclusion, the environmental education program through various instructional media had a positive effect on pro-environmental attitudes of elementary school students. It is demanded that more intensive research on this study should be done, linking with teaching and teaming method, as a follow-up activity.

본 연구는 간호학생이 시뮬레이션 실습교육 과정을 통해 문제 해결능력을 향상시키면서 경험하는 성취의 본질을 밝히고자 하는 목적으로 진행되었다. 연구대상은 4학년 간호학생 13명으로 시뮬레이션 실습 후 성취경험에 대한 개별 인터뷰를 통해 자료수집하였다. 자료분석은 질적연구 방법인 내용분석에 따라 자료를 코딩, 범주화, 주제화 단계로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과로 도출된 간호학생의 시뮬레이션 실습을 통한 성취 경험에 대한 결과는 '개선을 통해 자신감을 확인하는 과정', '변화를 확인하는 과정', '간호의 효능감을 경험', '임상이라는 목표에 가까워짐' 이었다. 또한 간호학생이 성찰을 통한 지식의 내면화 과정을 확인하고 시뮬레이션실습을 통한 통합적 학습이 이루어질 수 있도록 다방면의 면밀한 설계를 통한 효율적인 운영과 평가도구를 적용하는 시도가 진행되기를 제언한다.

The snap-through phenomena of the curved IPMC actuators were investigated according to the initial curvature of the actuators. The curved actuators were fabricated by long time thermal treatments. Cantilevered IPMCs have a constant curvature and their initial tip-displacements are 0, 8, and 16mm, respectively. These actuators were tested in terms of f response. AC response, FRF test for evaluating the effect of initial shape. The hysteresis and instant speed of tip point were measured for observation of the snap-through. Present results show that initial deformation strongly affects the snap-through phenomena, resulting in much larger tip-displacements.

Astronomical plates have a very large density range (dynamical range). Many exposed astronomical photographic plates do not provide detailed structures for very high densities, and some include hidden images for very low densities. The former can be fixed through 'Unsharp Masking' technique and the latter through 'Image Amplification' technique. Besides, we can find intrinsic colors of celestial bodies through 'Tri Color Composition' technique. Images of several plates which were observed from Sobaek Observatory with 61cm telescope are reproduced by the three kinds of image reproducing techniques. As reproduced image examples, we display an Orion nebula and a waxing crescent moon images through unsharp masking technique and an M81 image through image amplification technique. An Orion nebula and a Dumbbell nebula images are also given as results of tri color composition technique.

This study was performed to help on the activation plan the purchase of apparel by shopping(catalog/TV/Internet) through investigating and analyzing elements related with apparel purchasing practice, purchasing satisfaction degree, and information demand. The subjects were 165 housewives residing in Cheongju who had bought apparel through home shopping more than once. The questionnaire survey was conducted from July to August, 2002. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Housewives had most a lot of occasions that purchased clothing through TV shopping among home shopping method. 2) Major clothing items that purchased through home shopping were underwear and casual wear. 3) Satisfaction for apparel product purchased via home shopping was difference partially item wise. 4) Respondents were satisfied with design, color, sewing state, but dissatisfied with size and materials. 5) When purchasing apparel through home shopping, respondents recognized the necessity of information on size, exchange/refund/returned policy, color, design, resolution of the product picture, care of instruction, texture and detail of apparel.

Recently, the railroad route plan is trying to minimize the damage of the local resident which is caused by railroad construction. For this reason, reducing the banking height of soil roadbed, lowering the bridge girder height of a solid intersection and a part of cross river, the through bridge type which can achieve a required span length must apply. The representative through bridges of railroad are arch bridges, truss bridges and plate girder bridges, the through plate girder bridge of variable section can apply that the span length of these bridges is about $30{\sim}50m$, namely, middle span length bridge types, and that can satisfy structural capacity and beauty of railroad at the same time. This paper introduces plan and design process of the Su-eo cheon bridge applied by a through plate girder bridge type of the Jinju-Gwangyang double track 6th construction ordered at Korea Rail network Authority in 2005.

The solubility of nickel ferrite in an aqueous solution of boric acid was studied by varying the pH at the temperatures ranging from $25^{\circ}C$ to $320^{\circ}C$. A flow-through autoclave system was specially designed and fabricated to measure the solubility of Fe in hydrothermal solutions under high temperature and pressure. The performance of this flow-through system was directly compared with the conventional static state technique using a batch-type autoclave system. The stability of fluid velocity for the flow-through autoclave system was verified prior to the solubility measurement. The influence of chemical additives, such as boric acid and $H_2$, on the solubility of nickel ferrite was also evaluated.

The means to train plan of local culture promotion personnel through the migrant women refers to the knowledge education of local cultural personnel through the accurate recognition of Korean culture and local culture and related information to foreign immigrants and workers in each region of the country. Through education courses in four areas, such as international manners, local promotion education, cultural heritage, and experience learning, the immigrant women will present a leading direction in which they can expect to play a role as experts in regional culture and public relations through the mother country's language.

This paper uses seasonal auto-regressive integrated moving average (S-ARIMA), which is efficient in seasonality between time-series models, to predict the degradation tendency for lithium-ion batteries and study a method for improving the predictive performance. The proposed method analyzes the degradation tendency and extracted factors through an electrical characteristic experiment of lithium-ion batteries, and verifies whether time-series data are suitable for the S-ARIMA model through several statistical analysis techniques. Finally, prediction of battery aging is performed through S-ARIMA, and performance of the model is verified through error comparison of predictions through mean absolute error.
