  • This study addresses analysis on reactions which are induced in restraint system for airframe full-scale static structural test. This system restraints 6 degrees of freedom of a test article. It is valuable to study evaluating test error through analysis on the reactions which include all errors in a test. It is required to calculate fistly right reactions for the evaluation. This study focuses on calculation of the right reactions. The reaction is represented by sum of nominal reaction(Rn) and testing error reactions(Rce, Rerr) and is analyzed by two steps (inital vs relative reaction) in this study. It would evaluate intrinsic error at 0%DLL and error induced from applying test load, separately. Based on analysis using test data of a full-scale static test(canard type aircraft), resultant force of Rces and Rce_rs are distributed within 82.8N while resultant force of Rerr_rs shows to increase upto max. 808N as load level increment. Such well distribution of the Rce within the small range is caused from TMF values characteristics which are well distributed within -30N~40N. Additionally, it is shown through qualitative analysis on three components(X0, Y0, Z0) of the relative reaction(Rerr_r) that the reactions must be calculated with considering deformation of test article to calculate correctly reactions. This study shows also that equations characterizing deformation of components of test article are required to calculate the correct reactions, the equations must include information which will be used to calculate movement of all loading points.

  • The development of joint FE models for deep learning neural network (DLNN)-based hybrid FEA is presented. Material models of bolts and bearings in the front axle of tractor, showing complex behavior induced by various tightening conditions, were replaced with DLNN models. Bolts are modeled as one-dimensional Timoshenko beam elements with six degrees of freedom, and bearings as three-dimensional solid elements. Stress-strain data were extracted from all elements after finite element analysis subjected to various load conditions, and DLNN for bolts and bearing were trained with Tensorflow. The DLNN-based joint models were implemented in the ABAQUS user subroutines where stresses from the next increment are updated and the algorithmic tangent stiffness matrix is calculated. Generalization of the trained DLNN in the FE model was verified by subjecting it to a new loading condition. Finally, the DLNN-based FEA for the front axle of the tractor was conducted and the feasibility was verified by comparing with results of a static structural experiment of the actual tractor.

  • An elasto-plastic finite element method using the theory of strain gradient plasticity is proposed to evaluate the size dependency of structural plasticity that occurs when the configuration size decreases to micron scale. For this method, we suggest a low-order plane and three-dimensional displacement-based elements, eliminating the need for a high order, many degrees of freedom, a mixed element, or super elements, which have been considered necessary in previous researches. The proposed method can be performed in the framework of nonlinear incremental analysis in which plastic strains are calculated and averaged at nodes. These strains are then interpolated and differentiated for gradient calculation. We adopted a strain-gradient-hardening constitutive equation from the Taylor dislocation model, which requires the plastic strain gradient. The developed finite elements are tested numerically on the basis of typical size-effect problems such as micro-bending, micro-torsion, and micro-voids. With respect to the strain gradient plasticity, i.e., the size effects, the results obtained by using the proposed method, which are simple in their calculation, are in good agreement with the experimental results cited in previously published papers.

Evaluation of the usefulness of IGRT(Image Guided Radiation Therapy) for markerless patients using SGPS(Surface-Guided Patient Setup) (표면유도환자셋업(Surface-Guided Patient Setup, SGPS)을 활용한 Markerless환자의 영상유도방사선치료(Image Guided Radiation Therapy, IGRT)시 유용성 평가)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the usefulness of Surface-Guided Patient Setup by comparing the patient positioning accuracy when image-guided radiation therapy was used for Markerless patients(unmarked on the skin) using Surface-Guided Patient Setup and Marker patients(marked on the skin) using Laser-Based Patient Setup. Materials And Methods: The position error during IGRT was compared between a Markerless patient initially set up with SGPS using an optical surface scanning system using three cameras and a Marker patient initially set up with LBPS that aligns the laser with the marker drawn on the patient's skin. Both SGPS and LBPS were performed on 20 prostate cancer patients and 10 Stereotactic Radiation Surgery patients, respectively, and SGPS was performed on an additional 60 breast cancer patients. All were performed IGRT using CBCT or OBI. Position error of 6 degrees of freedom was obtained using Auto-Matching System, and comparison and analysis were performed using Offline-Review in the treatment planning system. Result: The difference between the root mean square (RMS) of SGPS and LBPS in prostate cancer patients was Vrt -0.02cm, Log -0.02cm, Lat 0.01cm, Pit -0.01°, Rol -0.01°, Rtn -0.01°, SRS patients was Vrt 0.02cm, Log -0.05cm, Lat 0.00cm, Pit -0.30°, Rol -0.15°, Rtn -0.33°. there was no significant difference between the two regions. According to the IGRT standard of breast cancer patients, RMS was Vrt 0.26, Log 0.21, Lat 0.15, Pit 0.81, Rol 0.49, Rtn 0.59. Conclusion:. As a result of this study, the position error value of SGPS compared to LBPS did not show a significant difference between prostate cancer patients and SRS patients. In the case of additionally performed SGPS breast cancer patients, the position error value was not large based on IGRT. Therefore, it is considered that it will be useful to replace LBPS with SGPS, which has the great advantage of not requiring patient skin marking..

  • The purpose of this article is to study on the Daesoon Cosmology of the Correlative Relation between Mugeuk and Taegeuk. Daesoon cosmology is a cosmology based on the juxtaposition between the Gucheon Sangje and the world. In this article, I would like to say that this theory in Daesoon Thought was developed in three stages: the phase of the Mugeuk Transcendence of Gucheon Sangje, the stage of the Taegeuk Immanence, and the phase of the Grand Opening of the Later World between Mugeuk and Taegeuk as a correlative gentle reign. First of all, the phase of the Mugeuk Transcendence of Gucheon Sangje has been revealed as a yin-yang relationship. The stage of the Taegeuk Immanence represents the togetherness of harmony and co-prosperity between yin and yang, and the phase of the Grand Opening of the Later World between Mukeuk and Taegeuk refers to the unshakable accomplishment of its character and energy. It will be said that this is due to the practical mechanism in the correct balance of yin-yang making a four stage cycle of birth, growth, harvest, and storage. In addition, the Daesoon stage of the settlement of yin and yang is revealed as a change in the growth of all things and the formation of the inner circle. The mental growth reveals the characteristics of everything in the world, each trying to shine at the height of their own respective life as they grow up energetically. The dominant culture of cerebral communion renders a soft and elegant mood and combines yin and yang to elevate the heavenly and earthly period through transcendental change into sympathetic understanding. The stage of the Grand Opening of the Later World between Mugeuk and Taegeuk is one of the earliest days of the lunar month and also the inner circle of Taegeuk. It is in line with Ken Wilbur's integrated model as a step to the true degrees to develop into a world with brightened degrees. It is a beautiful and peaceful scene where celestial maidens play music, the firewood burns, and the scholars command thunder and lightning playfully. Human beings achieve a state of happiness as a free beings who lives as gods upon the earth. This is the world of theGrand Opening of the Later World between Mugeuk and Taegeuk. Daesoon Thought was succeeded by Dojeon in 1958, when Dojeon emerged as the successor in the lineage of religious orthodoxy and was assigned the task of handling Dao in its entirety. In addition, Daesoon is a circle and represents freedom and commonly shared happiness among the populous. Cosmology in the Daesoon Thought will enable us to understand deep dimensions and the identity of members as individuals within an inner circle of correlation between transcendence and immanence. This present study tries to analyze the public effects philologically and also the mutual correlation by utilizing the truthfulness of literature and rational interpretation. The outlook for the future in Daesoon Thought also leads to the one-way communication of Daesoon as a circle.
