비영리학술저작물의 저작권정책과 오픈액세스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Copyright Policy and Open Access for Noncommercial Scholarly Works)

  • 본 논문은 $2005{\sim}2007$년 사이 국내에서 발생한 학위논문 및 학술논문과 관련한 저작권 분쟁 사건을 계기로 살펴본 향후 비영리 학술저작물에 대한 저작권법상 도서관 면책 규정과 이들 저작물에 대한 저작권 정책의 방향에 관한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 비영리 학술저작물의 속성과 현행 저작권법의 비판매용 저작물에 대한 규정을 근거로 학위논문을 포함한 비판매용 저작물이 저작권법 제31조 제5항에서 규정한 보상금지급예외에 포함되어야 함을 제안하였다. 또한 학술논문의 경우 저작권 신탁관리기관에 의한 불법적인 신탁 및 권리 행사에 대하여 해당 기관의 관리감독청이 이를 통제가 필요가 있음을 밝혔다. 아울러 학위논문이나 학술논문은 그 저작물의 속성상 저작권의 강력한 보호를 통한 접근과 이용의 제한보다는 그것의 공개와 이용을 활성화시킬 수 있는 정부의 정책이 필요함을 지적하였다.

특허와 논문정보를 활용한 OCR 기술발전 동향예측에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Prediction for the OCR Technology Development Trajectory based on the Patent and Article Information)

  • As the 4th Industrial Revolution emerged as a key to improving national competitiveness, OCR technology, one of the major technologies in the 4th industry is in the spotlight. Since characters in various images contain a lot of information, OCR technology for recognizing these characters has evolved into technology used in many industries. In this paper, trends in OCR technology were identified and predicted using thesis data published in 'RISS' and patent data by International patent classification (IPC) under the theme of Optical character recognition (OCR). For patent data 20,000 patents related to OCR technology from 2002 to 2020 were used as data, and 432 papers from 2012 to 2022 were used as data. Through time-series analysis, each patent data and thesis data were investigated since when OCR technology has developed, and various keyword analysis predicted which technology will be used in the future. Finally, the direction of future OCR technology development was presented through network association analysis with patent data and thesis data.

  • Societies are important sources of new information for users. However, most of these societies still rely on traditional, or rather ancient methods for gathering and servicing the information. Furthermore, most of the societies are trying to electrify processes such as managing members and paper submission as well as the process managing the information for service but are limited due to financial and technical reasons. Therefore, KISTI(Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information) has developed the ${\ulcorner}$KISTl-ACOMS (KISTI-Article Contribution Management System)${\lrcorner}$ as part of the national project for automating the process of processing academic information by societies, in order to convert journals published by academic societies in Korea into an electronic form and make them accessible on the Internet. This system has been developed in the year 2001 and has since been distributed to societies free of charge. The number of societies requesting the service has risen recently, which prompted us to take more recommendations of the societies that adopt this system into account in expanding and standardizing the area of service being provided by the system.

  • There is a method to analyze the big data of the article and text mining by using Python language. And Python is a kind of programming language and it is easy to operating. Reaserch and use Python to creat a Web environment that the research result of the analysis can show directly on the browser. In this thesis, there are 100 article paper frrom Altmetric, Altmetric tracks a range of sources to capture. It is necessary to collect and analyze the big data use an effictive method, After the result coming out, Use Python wordcloud to make a directive image that can show the highest frequency of words.

고서목록의 방향 (Direction of Cataloging the Oriental Classics)

  • All things considered, cataloging rules of every nations in the world had been revised or attempt to revise according to the ISBD cataloging method. This is a general tendency of cataloging rules in nowadays. But, for the application to ISBD cataloging method to in the cataloging rules for oriental classics, there are many bottleneck because special articles of bibliography in the oriental classics frequently appeared, the special article has been recorded to suitably location in the body of entry. If special articles have apply to ISBD cataloging method, it must given to peculiar mark in the every articles. Representative examples are location for entry to material form of printed letter and form of printed book. Generally, material form of printed letter have been recorded in the article of edition, form of printed book have been recorded in the article of collation. But, as these method have not regulated in the general cataloging rules of Korea, material form of printed letter and form of printed book articles must record in article of note for application to ISBD cataloging method. If that happens, fundamentally problems which have been hotly debated in cataloging rules for oriental classics will be naturally solve. In the edded, I was presented the solution method of accompanying problems in this thesis.

고종시대의 무관복제에 관한 소론 (A Study on Military Officer's Uniform System in Ko-Jong Dynasty)

  • This thesis is concerned with military officer's uniform system in Ko-Jong and Soon-Jong dynasties (1964∼1910) in the end of Korean Dynasty. especially, the most important study in this thesis is as follows. First, the change and the motivation of military officer's uniform system and the background of the days are surveyed. Second, is have compared with the royal article that made military officer's uniform system change. Third, I have compared with military officer's uniform formation and surveyed military officer's uniform system to the days. the military uniform in the period of Ko-Jong Dynasty was Europeanized. namely, it was the period that the modern military uniform was adapted, putting away Koo military uniform system to have wore "Dongtali" and"Bungguzi", studing the uniform system in those days will be connected with a civilized age and the present day directly. Therefore I have surveyed military officer/s uniform system, mainly in the army uniform system.

Clustering Technique for Multivariate Data Analysis

  • The multivariate analysis techniques of cluster analysis are examined in this article. The theory and applications of the techniques and computer software concerning these techniques are discussed and sample jobs are included. A hierarchical cluster analysis algorithm, available in the IMSL software package, is applied to a set of data extracted from a group of subjects for the purpose of partitioning a collection of 26 attributes of a weapon system into six clusters of superattributes. A nonhierarchical clustering procedure were applied to a collection of data of tanks considering of twenty-four observations of ten attributes of tanks. The cluster analysis shows that the tanks cluster somewhat naturally by nationality. The principal componant analysis and the discriminant analysis show that tank weight is the single most important discriminator among nationality although they are not shown in this article because of the space restriction. This is a part of thesis for master's degree in operations research.

Detection of Damages in Concrete Structures Using Non-Contact Air-Coupled Sensing Methods

  • Most nondestructive testing techniques require good contact between the sensor and tested concrete surface to obtain reliable data. But the surface preparation is often very time and labor consuming due to the rough surface or limited access of concrete structures. One approach to speed up the data collection process is to eliminate the need for physical contact between the sensor and tested structure. Non-contact air-coupled sensing technique can be a good solution to this problem. An obvious advantage of the non-contact air-coupled sensing technique is which can greatly speed up the data collection in field and thus the damage detection process can be completed very rapidly. In this article, recent developments in non-contact air-coupled sensing technique for rapid detection of damages in concrete structures are summarized to evoke interest, discussion and further developments on this technique to a NDT research community in Korea. It is worth noting that the works in this article have been published in the types of thesis, proceedings, and journals. All published sources are cited in the text and listed in reference.

Camillo Sitte's Urban Design Language and its Influence upon Adolf Loos's Raumplan

  • This article examines spatial concepts of urban design led by Camillo Sitte (1843-1903) and its influences. Sitte infused the fervor of city planning as an initiator, and his achievements affected Adolf Loos (1870-1933). Thus, this thesis, with regard to Sitte's penchants concerning urban design, focuses on two matters in order to understand Camillo Sitte's efforts to invent a new method on modern city planning and its influence on an architect: first, it deals with his urban studies, theories, and practices on city planning that consider communal living and everyday life and urban typology as well; second, it discusses how his urban ideas are accepted by Adolf Loos. Conclusively, through the investigations on Sitte's movement on city planning and its influence on Adolf Loos, this study clarifies Sitte's efforts to improve urban life and its milieus, and then Loos's efforts to adopt Sitte's criticisms and then re-interpret them in tune with the modern way of living as well. As a result, this thesis shows that they suggested new methods in performing dialectic designs, drawing on the picturesque and modern tradition, although their difference is differentiated from the sense of space, exterior vs. interior, i.e. Raumkunst vs. Raumplan.
