Purpose - This short paper reviews the debate dealing with the relationship between strategy and traditional strategy approach on the one hand, and business models and new business model approach on the other hand and tries to offer useful direction to be more helpful to theoretical discussions. Research design, data, and methodology - This paper makes a theoretical analysis to explain the confusion surrounding the debate, reviewing mainly literature survey papers and finds theoretical conjecture and its limitations in order to present useful direction to the future theoretical work. Result - In order to comprise its diversity, business model studies should consider the characteristics of each firm, sector, and market. Adding further elements which are related to each sector or market, theoretical studies can capture the diverse phenomena related to business model and business model innovation. Conclusion - The traditional strategy perspective can be utilized to the Business model phenomenon in the case of incumbent firms and non-digital sector and existing markets. Meanwhile the new business model perspective can be utilized to business model phenomena in case of start-ups and digital sector and emerging markets. Reconciling two perspectives, the studies dealing with the business model should focus on the characteristics of firms, markets, and knowledge from the perspective of business model innovation.

The work presents the theoretical background and methodology to network analysis. This approach to information network has been widespread use in many researches of social science. Theoretically based idea of structural analysis of information flow were reviewed and the major perspective and the practical aspects of the analysis were discussed. To show an approach of the methodology to library environment, HISP project which analyzed the network structure of a health information dissemination to a health community was demonstrated.

This study uses theoretical perspectives and models from organizational ecology to examine the dynamics and viability of strategic groups. Integrating the ecological perspective and the contingency theoretical view of strategic management, this study developed propositions demonstrating the impact of environmental density and variation on the effectiveness of strategic groups. Justifications for linking ecological perspectives to strategic management theory are discussed and the importance of the integrative approach to strategic management is highlighted.

This study focuses on developing a theoretical framework for evaluating Operational Performance of the Marine Forest Creation project on a balanced and comprehensive perspective by using BSC, AHP, and IPA. Also, the purpose of this study is empirically to analyze operational performance of the project and to suggest the future improvement plan. For this purpose, We will first determine the critical success factors(CSF) and key performance indicators(KPI) required for evaluating the performance of the Marine Forest Creation project from the four perspectives of BSC. And, After determining the weight for each of CSF, KPI, and four perspectives of BSC by using AHP, we will measure the project performance. We will also conduct IPA analysis to propose the direction of improvement of the Marine Forest Creation project. The results of this study are as follows. First, this study has drawn 8 critical success factors and 16 key performance indicators for four BSC perspectives based on the theoretical considerations and expert interview survey. Second, as a result of deriving relative importance of BSC perspectives using AHP, customer perspective was the highest, followed by financial perspective, learning and growth perspective, and internal process perspective. Third, as the results of analyzing the importance and performance of BSC perspectives using IPA, customer perspective was the maintenance reinforcement category, financial perspective was the key improvement category, internal process perspective and learning and growth perspective were gradual improvement category. This study has a great academic significance in terms of BSC first tried to evaluate the performance of the Marine Forest Creation project. The results of this study are expected to lead to various discussions for a balanced and comprehensive verification of Marine Forest Creation project performance.

Current interest in mathematics learning that focuses on understanding, mathematical reasoning and meaning making underscores the need to develop ways of analyzing classrooms that foster these types of learning. In this paper, the author show that the constructs of social and socio-mathematical norms, which grew out of taking a symbolic interactionist perspective, and Toulmins scheme for argumentation, as elaborated for mathematics education by Krummheuer [The ethnology of argumentation. In: The emergence of mathematical meaning: Interaction in classroom cultures (1995, pp. 229-269). Hillsdale, NJ: Erlbaum], provide us with means to analyze aspects of explanation, justification and argumentation in mathematics classrooms, including means through which they can be fostered. Examples from a variety of classrooms are used to clarify how these notions can inform instruction at all levels, from the elementary grades through university-level mathematics.

In this article, the author's intent is to begin a conversation centered on the question: How was the integration of digital technology into elementary mathematics classrooms framed? In the first part of the discussion, the author provides a historical perspective of the development of theoretical perspectives of the integration of digital technology in learning mathematics. Then, the author describes three theoretical perspectives of the role of digital technology in mathematics education: microworlds, instrumental genesis, and semiotic mediation. Last, based on three different theoretical perspectives, the author concludes the article by asking the reader to think differently.

Advent of diverse media and advancement in digital technology significantly affected our perception of time and space. By utilizing digital media actively, fashion illustration has come to go beyond the limitation on conventional perspective expression. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of deconstruction of perspective in fashion illustration, and to analyze a variety of space expressions and effects of visual expression in fashion illustration. By way of literature research for the study, theoretical data are reviewed about basic concepts of conventional perspective and the characteristics and aesthetic concept of perspective deconstruction expression in visual art. By way of an empirical study, fashion illustrations that represent the deconstruction of perspective are classified and analyzed characteristics and image effects of such expressions. Deconstruction of perspective in fashion illustration find in expression of spaces by means of multi-space, multi-layer space, reverse perspective, perspective through the exaggeration, multi-perspective space, and panoramic visual condition. Fashion illustration expresses visual confusion or fantasy rather than creating realistic spaces that have utilized reasonable perspective. Fashion illustration is moving toward a trait with disharmony and an in-depth visionary space by overlapping or mixing spaces differing from each other, and by means of such peculiar and unrealistic expressions, unfamiliar images are created.

현재 차산업 분야의 브랜드 구축에 대한 이론적 연구는 비교적 광범위하게 진행되었지만, 조사 결과 브랜드 자산의 측면에서 차산업 브랜드를 연구할 수 있는 관련 이론은 여전히 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 본고는 일조녹차를 연구 대상으로 소비자의 관점에서 일조녹차의 브랜드 자산에 영향을 미치는 요인과 각 요인 간의 관계를 중점적으로 연구한다. 연구 결과에 의하면 소비자의 관점에서 일조녹차의 브랜드 자산은 브랜드 인지도, 지역 연상, 품질 감지, 브랜드 충성도로 구성되고, 차원 간에 일정한 상관관계가 존재하며 각 차원은 브랜드 자산에 영향을 미친다. 브랜드 인지도와 지역 연상 사이에는 현저한 상관관계가 있으며, 브랜드 인지도는 품질 감지에 현저한 영향을 미치지 않는다. 지역 연상은 품질 감지와 브랜드 충성도에 현저한 긍정적 영향을 미치고 브랜드 인지도와 품질 감지는 브랜드 충성도에 현저한 긍정적 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 해당 분야의 이론 연구 부족을 보완하는 동시에 일조녹차 브랜드 자산의 구축을 위한 이론적 근거와 실천적 지침을 제공할 수 있다.

국제 학회에서 또는 국제 비교 연구에서 한국 수학교육의 고유한 관점에 관한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 아직은 개인적인 차원에서 주관적인 경험과 판단에 기초하여 우리나라의 수학교육 현황과 연구에 대해 소개하는 경우가 많았다. 이 글은 우리나라 고유의 수학교육 관점에 대한 논의의 필요성을 제기하고, 그 출발점을 제시하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 한국의 수학교육 관점에 대한 가설을 소개한다. 또한, 이 가설을 보완하기 위해 14명의 교사 연구자들, 7명의 수학교육 연구자들이 수학적 모델링 관점의 수용을 둘러싼 논의에 반영한 의견을 수집하여 제시한다. 연구 결과, 우리나라 수학교육의 관점이 가진 고유한 측면은 '교사가 담당해야 할 역할에 대한 강한 책임의식'에서 찾을 수 있었다. 특히 기본과 기초를 충실히 다지고, 구조와 본질에 주목하는 진지함을 추구하며, 지나치게 열려있어 학습 가능성을 알 수 없는 의사소통 모델보다는 안정적으로 얼마간의 목표를 추구하는 조용한 실질론에 따르고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The hotel industry needs to make the competitive advantage difficult to be imitated in order to remain sustainable in competitive business circumstances. Front-line employees' service-oriented citizenship behaviors(OCBs) can be such a strength from the perspective of organizational system. With an aim of investigating the antecedents of the hotel front-line employees' service-oriented OCBs, this study proposed a theoretical framework linking authentic leadership to service-oriented OCBs with goal commitment as a mediator. A total of 260 cases without missing values have been used for the final analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM) is employed using the SPSS and AMOS 7. It was first found that self-awareness and relational transparency of authentic leadership made a significant impact on their goal commitment while balanced processing and moral perspective failed to influence them. Second. goal commitment influenced all sub-factors of service-oriented OCBs. Third, moral perspective and relational transparency of authentic leadership significantly influenced service-oriented OCBs while self-awareness and relational transparency failed to make it. Finally, goal commitment significantly makes an intervening effect for the relationship between self-awareness & service-oriented OCBs and relational transparency & service-oriented OCBs but failed to intervene the other relationships. The results provide theoretical and practical implications regarding directions of leadership styles and HR management in the hotel industry and suggestions for the further extended studies.
