People acknowledge that mobile technology has improved their lives in terms of convenience, flexibility, connectedness, and new freedom of choice. However, as people increase usage of technology, they may become frustrated, challenged, annoyed, and irritated with it. This is the main characteristic of mobile technology paradoxes. Once technology gets into people's daily life, which it already has, people will look for a way to minimize the dependency on the technology, as well as finding a way to use the technology to improve the quality of their life. The focus of this study is to understand the mobile technology paradoxes and to develop coping strategies. As mobile technology is already a part of people's daily life, it is inevitable that people need to utilize technology as part of their lifestyles. This study developed a research model regarding the relationship between mobile technology perception and choice of coping strategies, including personal risk propensity as a mediating factor. Discussion on the importance of the technology paradoxes for developing mobile solution and services from the customers' perspectives followed after hypotheses testing.

This paper deals with the artistic expression of religious thought in terms of the uniqueness of different images and creativity. The relationship between religion and art is complicated but popular in modern society. Film becomes the icon of modern culture to enhance the knowledge of religious traditions. Among many Korean religious films, Kang Daejin's work, The Way of Peace (1984) contains the life and thought of Kang Jeungsan(1871-1909), the highest god of Daesoonjinrihoe. First, the film, The Way of Peace, pays attention to the legitimacy of succession from Kang Jeungsan to Cho Jeongsan(1895-1958). Korea was beset with trouble both at home and abroad. China, Japan, Russia, and the US had the colonial desire to conquer the lands of Korea and to explore natural resources. Though the people of Eastern Learning(東學) protested government and Japanese colonialists, Jeungsan applied the principle of non-violence to the world. In order to save all the living beings of the world, he reordered the universe and renewed the harmonic relationship of human beings and their spirit. Second, The Way of Peace proposed the soteriology of peace and change to audience regardless of seekers(道人) or not. Jeungsan transformed the closed society to the open society, changed divided religions to the transcendent truth(道). He empowered the marginalized people such as women, the lowly, the elderly, and the sick, who were oppressed in the Confucian society. And he redeemed the people from the disease by healing all diseases and correcting disorders. In conclusion, The Way of Peace is a good resource of religious education by which we can overcome the religious illiteracy. The knowledge of new religious movements and Daesoonjinrihoe is necessary for us to understand the diversity of human nature. In the near future, the new images of Jeungsan should be created through multi-media and cultural contents for the new generation.

A growing number of people shows deep interests in healthcare and treatments for the elderly with increasing their population. Contrary to general adults, old people have their own physiological and pathological characteristics. Therefore, treatments for the elderly should be different form those for others in younger generation. Alimentotherapy, which means the treatment or prevention by means of food, is one of the best way to deal with geriatrics that are chronic, multiple. Korea has its tradition and plenty of information in this field. Even in the early ChoSun Dynasty, when people suffered from lack of proper medical care, physicians used dietary prescriptions as active treatments, Therefore, we can find lots of cases in "Hyangyak-jibseogbang" and "Euibangyoochui" which are medical books published at that time. After that, a specialized alimentotherapy book, "Sikryochanyo" was written based on that kind of total medical volumes. With development of society, economy. and medical science, alimentotherapy has grown remarkably. Unlike in the early Chosun Dynasty, it was used positively for promoting general health condition and practiced as supportive method for medication in the late Chosun Dynasty. Considering the characteristics of the elderly, alimentotherapy is the most effective way to keep them healthy and can also used with medication.

The audible pedestrian signal (APS) is an add-on device which connects to the pedestrian signaling device and informs the contents and changes of the signaling by sound. It provides walking direction information of the pedestrian crossing so that the blind people can safely cross the pedestrian crossing. In an intersection where a plurality of audible pedestrian signal (APS) are installed at an intersection crosswalk, existing audible pedestrian signal (APS) operate simultaneously in the communication radius of a wireless remote controller, which may cause confusion for the blind people and the public may complain about the noise. In this paper, we developed a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)-based audible pedestrian signal (APS) system capable of supporting two-way communications with a smart-phone that can cross the intersection safely and improve the walking comfort and traffic safety for the blind people. The proposed method is a method in which the BLE beacon communication based audible pedestrian signal (APS) presents active service to the blind people, and the existing audible pedestrian signal (APS) is a way of requesting the passive service by the blind people with the wireless remote control by the unidirectional communication based on 358Mhz. The developed system is installed in the crossroad of Doma-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, and it is tested and operated by the blind people. The satisfaction evaluation and analysis of the audible pedestrian signal (APS) for the blind people have good results and are planned to be expanded in the future.

The aim of this study is to explain characteristics of Maitreya and Maitreya belief from a point of view that 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya(甑山卽彌勒)'. In 『Jeon-gyeong』, Maitreya is mentioned several times. Thus, new religions of Jeungsan of Daesoonjinrihoe take 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' belief for truth. Due to the fact that characteristics of Maitreya are so multi-layered and complicated, it is necessary to explain clearly what kind of feature Maitreya has in 『Jeon-gyeong』. If believing and following 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' without clarifying it, they will be faced with a problem that they regard Jeungsan of Supreme being of the Ninth Heaven as one of Maitreya and take its belief for truth. Furthermore, with respect to the characteristics of 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' belief, while believing in Mireukasaeng, longed-for Millenarian movement by people through Messianism and Mireukasaeng belief is found in Daesoon Thought, whereas there is a need how to understand the point that we cannot finped Messianism and Millenarian movement in Daesoon Thought. To solve this problem, I draw a conclusion that 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' in 『Jeon-gyeong』 has to be understood with two meanings by four demonstrations. First of all, the people perceived late Joseon dynasty as the age of decadence but Maitreya's divinity which is desired by the people is not divinity of Maitreya Sutra(Mileuggyeong). Maitreya's divinity is reflected in the people's cherished desire and it is newly created as the Messiah. Thus, the idea of Jeungsan being the very Maitreya was developed in a way that the people desired the Messiah, encompassing this inclination. That is the Messiah of the people and the divinity of Jeungsan. Although Jeungsan as Supreme being of the Ninth Heaven satisfied the people's desire, it shows a different way to salvation from the way in Maitreya Sutra(Mileuggyeong). It is 'the Great Reordering of the Universe' and 'the Great Reordering of the Three Realms'. Reordering in Jeungsan shows that divinity of Jeungsan is not limited to the people's Messiah. In other words, divinity of Jeungsan is established as The Messiah, surpassing divinity of Maitreya Sutra(Mileuggyeong). And following statements prove this divinity of Jeungsan. Jeungsan's emphasis is not only the people's desire and the Gods' appeal. Jeungsan's emphasis is that only does Supreme being of the Ninth Heaven correct heaven and earth, which is the Gods' appeal. Therefore, 'Jeungsan is the very Maitreya' belief embraces the people's Messianism and at the same time it runs with he Gods' appeal. Thus, Reordering through the Great Reordering of the Universe and the Great Reordering of the Three Realms builds up a new ideal world.

During last 4 decades of industrial development, apartment has been rapidly disseminated throughout the nation. Its main progress, however, only appeared in quantity, not in quality. To promote housing industry in more way and to enhance peoples' life quality through the better housing environment, housing plan should be based on living items including furniture, appliances and etc. Not enough research has been done to find out living items for better house plan development and furniture design. Among living items, furniture reflects both directly and indirectly people's lifestyle and way of living. This study attempted to find out the pattern of furniture possession which people own in their bedrooms. An in depth questionnaire survey of 600 households was carried during the year 2000. A variety of patterns were found which indicated diverse living conditions within a very similar uniform multifamily apartment complex. The result of this study will be helpful to understand the living conditions in a more systematic way and to generate new concept for both residential unit plan and furniture design.

The purpose of this study is to review the concept of virtuality and analyze in which way virtuality is expressed in fashion. As for the research methodology, literary research was undertaken to study psychoanalytical and socioeconomic contexts in which virtuality has been formed. In addition, demonstrative studies on styles were undertaken through the analysis of photos in modern fashion magazine. With the explosive diffusion of the Internet since the 1990s, people have created a new identity in cyber space. Indeed, computers have made it possible for human beings to make virtual bodies in any way they want. Through the experiment of creating the figures that they dreamed of in their childhood buy could not embody in their actual life, people are making up for their narcissistic ego of their childhood. With the advent of the cyber society, dreams have been realized in cyber space, which in turn has influenced reality and finally had an effect on fashion. In cyber space, People try to break away from their bodies by combining elements of a different nature from them. They are dying hair and skin, and using holographic fabric for fashion, metallic color and geometric pattern for cosmetics. In pursuit of omnipotent beings, people have depicted models as flying in a weightless state and floating in the water within dress of undefined silhouette, so that they can be shown as transcending the law of nature. Furthermore, a variety of cultures newly appearing as dominant in cyber space have constantly interacted with actual life and formed an collage of heterogeneous cultures in fashion.

Purpose : The act of reporting child abuse by people obliged to report child abuse is a way to detect long-term incidents of child abuse in early stages and to prevent a vicious cycle of social crimes. Thus, this study intends to enhance the reporting of child abuse through a study on the perception of people obliged to report child abuse through the public service announcement on child abuse. Methods : First, in order to identify the demographic characteristics of the subjects, the frequency and percentage were calculated. Second, in order to verify the reliability of the variables, Cronbach ${\alpha}$ was calculated. Third, in order to examine the perception of people obliged to report child abuse and the perception of reporting, a t-test (verification) and One-way ANOVA were conducted. Fourth, in order to identify the relationship between variables, a Correlation analysis was conducted. Result : The results show that people obliged to report child abuse did not perceive the public service announcement on child abuse positively and it varied depending on their jobs. The correlation between the public service announcement on child abuse and sub-factor of perceptions of reporting showed that a positive correlation was found in reliability, interest, understanding, perceiving the public service announcement on child abuse, perceiving severity and effectiveness, whereas a negative correlation was found in perceiving hazards. Conclusion : The education for preventing child abuse is required by the job type of people obliged to report. It is necessary to convey the message of effective public service announcement. The public service announcements on child abuse must be nationwide and long-term projects.

Dementia prevention is mainly aimed to the people who have various risk factors for developing dementia or who have mild cognitive impairments. The possible methods for this prevention may include the control of dementiarisk factors and the administration of drugs which may suppress the dementia progression. It is noteworthy that people with milc cognitive impairments (MCI) have 10 times higher risk for developing dementia compared to healthy aged people. Thus 25-50% of them may be progressed to dementia within 2-4 years. Here I describe various factors related to Alzheimer dementia, and possible way to control these factors.

본 논문에서는 최근 많은 관심을 받고 있는 안드로이드를 활용한 경증 자폐성장애인을 위한 보완대체의사소통 지원프로그램을 구현하였다. 보완대체의사소통이란 구어 및 비구어적 의사표현하기 어려운 사람들을 위해 사용하는 의사소통체계로서, 본 프로그램에서는 자폐장애인의 의사소통과 의사소통 언어의 선택적 빈도를 측정하는 방법과 자폐 아등의 지적 장애인의 언어에 대한 기본적인 훈련을 하는 방법을 소개한다. 본 논문에서는 보완대체 의사소통에서의 언어표상기법을 활용하여 여러 의사소통의 자유가 없는 사용자들이 효과적인 의사소통 및 학습을 할 수 있도록 개발하였으며, TTS(Text to Speech)를 사용하여 사용자의 의사를 육성으로 전달할 수 있도록 하였다. 그림판기능을 제공하여 사용자의 의사전달의 폭을 넓히고 언어빈도 측정을 통한 사용자의 언어사용빈도 그리고 자폐아의 경우 의식적 무의식 의사전달에 따른 백분율 수치를 두어 도움을 주도록 구현하였다.
