3차원 쉐이핑 기술을 활용한 스포츠 브래지어 개발 (Development of Sports Brassiere Pattern Using 3D Shaping Technology)

  • This study used 3D technology to develop a multi-functional sports brassiere with increased comfort and fit that can be worn as a base layer during exercise or as underwear. A 75A size industrial lingerie figure was used to develop a standard pattern. 3D tools for scanning and pattern making, such as Vivid 910, Geomagic Design X, 2C-AN and Yuka CAD were used. The sports brassiere was designed as a tank top style with dual structure and linings attached to a pad utilized with a sport brassiere mold cup. 3D outer and lining's pattern was differently developed in consideration of the body's curvature with pad's shape and structure. Shoulder and neck part reduction rates were adjusted to increase the neck areas fit that considered the nude pattern's structure due to uncomfortableness felt by wearers who were uncomfortable with the neck areas fit on existing brand products. The reduction rate was also set differently on each part. For example, the reduction rate on outer side panel was set strongly to increase the breast's volume. Two products, developed by a 3D sports brassiere and previously released product, were worn on 8 subjects in their 20's to evaluate fit, comfort, and purchase preferences. The evaluation proved that newly developed 3D products were superior to comparative products. The results of the clothing pressure measurement indicate that the newly developed sports brassiere's front part had less pressure on upper bust and shoulder areas compared to comparative products as well as showed less pressure on the back side, which shows improved wearing comfort compared to comparative products.

산지별 밤꿀에 함유된 Kynurenic Acid의 정량 분석과 분석법 검증 (Quantitative Analysis of Kynurenic Acid in Chestnut Honey from Different Regions and Method Validation)

  • Chestnut honey is a sweet dark-colored honey with a distinct bitter aftertaste. It contains numerous phenolic compounds and alkaloids and is noted for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. However, it has been established that there are differences in the composition and activity of chestnut honey constituents depending on the region of origin, the sources of which warrant further research. In this study, we analyzed the kynurenic acid (KA) contents in chestnut honey produced in nine different regions in Korea, using high-performance liquid chromatography in conjunction with ultraviolet detection, and validated the analytical method developed. Use of a reverse-phase column and detection at a wavelength of 240 nm were found to be optimal for the detection of KA. Similar evaluation of an optimal method for extracting KA from chestnut honey revealed that extraction using 10% EtOH at 20 times the sample volume over a 6 h period was the most suitable for obtaining a high content of KA. Among the nine regional chestnut honeys assessed, KA content was found to be highest in the "Gongju" sample (1.14 mg/g), followed by that in the "Cheongdo" and "Damyang" samples. Validation of the KA analytical method revealed a good analyte linearity, with a correlation coefficient (r2) of 0.9995, an accuracy of between 92.37% and 107.35%, and good precision (RSD ≤ 1.05%). Our findings in this study, based on a validated quantitative analytical method for KA, could make an important contribution to establishing a data profiling procedure for characterizing chestnut honeys produced in different regions, and may also provide basic data for the identification of functional honey.

한국여성의 연령별 정상폐용적 측정 (The Lung Volumes of Korean Females)

  • The normal lung volumes were determined and subdivided under sitting position in 48 middle school girls, 49 high school girls and 44 house wives. All subjects were free of pulmonary and vascular diseases. The vital capacity was measured by Mckessons spirometer and the residual volume was determined by Rahn's three breathing method. 1. The lung volumes (BTPS) of middle school girls determined were: $RV\;0.59{\pm}0.11l\;FRC\;1.45{\pm}2.22l\;VC\;2.68{\pm}0.29l$ 2. The lung volumes (BTPS) of high school girls determined were: $RV\;0.83{\pm}0.19l\;FRC\;1.9{\pm}0.25l\;VC\;3.15{\pm}0.24l$ 3. The lung volumes (BTPS) of house wives determind were: $RV\;0.95{\pm}0.61{\ell}\;FRC\;2.1{\pm}0.25{\ell}\;VC\;3.06{\pm}0.29l$ 4. The calculated residual ratio $(RV/TLC{\times}100)$ were: $17.7{\pm}2.57%$ in middle school girls and $20.6{\pm}3.65%$ in high school girls and $24.0{\pm}2.31%$ in house wives 5. The functional residual ratio $(FRC/TLC{\times}100)$ were: $43.7{\pm}5.98%$ in middle school girls and $48.8{\pm}4.41%4 in high school girls and $52.6{\pm}5.38%$ in house wives. 6. The correlation coefficients between vital capacity and total lung capacity were r=0.96 in middle school girls and r=0.986 in high school girls and r=0.856 in house wives. 7. SEED 블록 암호 알고리즘의 파이프라인 하드웨어 설계 (A Pipelined Design of the Block Cipher Algorithm SEED)

  • 최근 들어, 정보 보호의 필요성이 높아지면서, 암호화 및 복호화에 관한 관심이 커지고 있다. 특히, 대용량 정보의 실시간 고속 전송에 사용되기 위해서는 매우 빠른 암호화 및 복호화 기법이 요구되었다. 이를 위한 방안중의 하나로서 기존의 암호화 알고리즘을 하드웨어 회로로 구현하는 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 하지만, 기존 연구의 경우, 구현되는 회로 크기를 최소화하기 위해, 암호화 알고리즘들의 주요 특성인 병렬 수행 가능성을 무시한 채, 동일 회로를 여러번 반복 수행시키는 방법으로 설계하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 1998년 한국정보보호센터에서 개발한 국내 표준 암호화 알고리즘 SEED의 병렬 특성을 충분히 활용하는 새로운 회로 설계 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법에서는 암호 연산부의 획기적인 속도 개선을 위해 암호 블록의 16 라운드 각각을 하나의 단계로 하는 16 단계의 파이프라인 방식으로 회로를 구성한다. 설계된 회로 정보는 VHDL로 작성되었으며, VHDL 기능 시뮬레이션 검증 결과, 정확하게 동작함을 확인하였다. 또한 FPGA용 회로 합성 도구를 이용하여, 회로 구현시 필요한 회로 크기에 대한 검증을 실시한 결과, 하나의 FPGA 칩 안에 구현 가능함을 확인하였다. 이는 단일 FPGA 칩에 내장될 수 있는 고속, 고성능의 암호화 회로 구현이 가능함을 의미한다.

Nickel Silicide Nanowire Growth and Applications

  • The silicide is a compound of Si with an electropositive component. Silicides are commonly used in silicon-based microelectronics to reduce resistivity of gate and local interconnect metallization. The popular silicide candidates, CoSi2 and TiSi2, have some limitations. TiSi2 showed line width dependent sheet resistance and has difficulty in transformation of the C49 phase to the low resistive C54. CoSi2 consumes more Si than TiSi2. Nickel silicide is a promising material to substitute for those silicide materials providing several advantages; low resistivity, lower Si consumption and lower formation temperature. Nickel silicide (NiSi) nanowire (NW) has features of a geometrically tiny size in terms of diameter and significantly long directional length, with an excellent electrical conductivity. According to these advantages, NiSi NWs have been applied to various nanoscale applications, such as interconnects [1,2], field emitters [3], and functional microscopy tips [4]. Beside its tiny geometric feature, NW can provide a large surface area at a fixed volume. This makes the material viable for photovoltaic architecture, allowing it to be used to enhance the light-active region [5]. Additionally, a recent report has suggested that an effective antireflection coating-layer can be made with by NiSi NW arrays [6]. A unique growth mechanism of nickel silicide (NiSi) nanowires (NWs) was thermodynamically investigated. The reaction between Ni and Si primarily determines NiSi phases according to the deposition condition. Optimum growth conditions were found at $375^{\circ}C$ leading long and high-density NiSi NWs. The ignition of NiSi NWs is determined by the grain size due to the nucleation limited silicide reaction. A successive Ni diffusion through a silicide layer was traced from a NW grown sample. Otherwise Ni-rich or Si-rich phase induces a film type growth. This work demonstrates specific existence of NiSi NW growth [7].

Impact of Air Convection on H3PO4-Activated Biomass for Sequestration of Cu (II) and Cd (II) Ions

  • Crushed, depitted peach stones were impregnated activated with 50% $H_3PO_4$ followed by pyrolysis at $500^{\circ}C$. Two activated carbons were produced, one under its own evolved gases during pyrolysis, and the second conducted with air flow throughout the carbonization stage. Physicochemical properties were investigated by several procedures; carbon yield, ash content, elemental chemical analysis, TG/DTG and FTIR spectra. Porosity characteristics were determined by the conventional $N_2$ adsorption at 77 K, and data analyzed to get the major texture parameters of surface area and pore volume. Highly developed activated carbons were obtained, essentially microporous, with slight effect of air on the porous structure. Oxygen was observed to be markedly incorporated in the carbon matrix during the air treatment process. Cation exchange capacity towards Cu (II) and Cd (II) was tested in batch single ion experimental mode, which proved to be slow and a function of carbon dose, time and initial ion concentration. Copper was up taken more favorably than cadmium, under same conditions, and adsorption of both cations was remarkably enhanced as a consequence of the air treatment procedure. Sequestration of the metal ions was explained on basis of the combined effect of the oxygen functional groups and the phosphorous-containing compounds; both contributing to the total surface acidity character.

유리피판을 이용한 설재건 후의 기능평가 (Functional Assessment after Tongue Reconstruction using Free Flap)

  • Objectives : Ablation of carcinoma of the tongue leads to deficits in speech and swallowing, but none to date has provided all of the qualities of mobility and sensation to simulate the complex function of the tongue. The authors evaluated postoperative swallowing and pronouncing function in patients who underwent tongue reconstruction using free flap. Material and Methods : This is a retrospective review documenting the outcome of 42 patients between January of 1991 and August of 2008. We classified patients according to the size of resection of the tongue like as 7 partial glossectomy, 25 hemiglossectomy, 2 subtotal glossectomy, and 8 total glossectomy. Swallowing function was graded into 4 point scale and pronouncing function was analyzed using picture consonant articulation test. Aspiration was evaluated with videofluoroscopic swallowing study. Results : The average points for swallowing function were 3.43 in partial glossectomy, 3.52 in hemiglossectomy, 3 in subtotal glossectomy, and 2.63 in total glossectomy. The percentage of consonants correct showed 76.5% in partial glossectomy, 72.29% in hemiglossectomy, 47.69% in subtotal glossectomy, and 29.94% in total glossectomy. Aspiration was noted in 3 patients(1 hemiglossectomy and 2 total glossectomy) and 2 total glossectomy patients were taken permanent feeding gastrostomy. Conclusion : Free flap gave us proper volume in tongue reconstruction and showed good result in preserving swallowing function. Swallowing function difference according to the size of defect showed no statistical significance, whereas articulation function was shown to decrease in accuracy as the size of defect was larger.

  • 해부학적으로 족부는 주위에 이용할 수 있는 연주 조직이 별로 없을 뿐 아니라 이용할 수 있더라도 크기가 제한되어 있으므로 광범위한 연부조직 결손시 이의 복원이 어렵다. 광범위하고 오염된 족부의 창상을 재건시 이상적인 조직의 조건으로서는 감염에 잘 견디고, 가능한한 원래의 모양 및 크기에 가깝게 복원해야 하며, 적절한 감각이 있어야 하고, 끊임없는 마찰력과 체중 부하에 잘 견뎌야 할 것이다. 미세혈관술을 이용한 유리조직이식은 비교적 위와같은 장점들을 제공할 수 있다. 저자들은 최근 약 4년간 외상과 전기화상 및 화상후 후유증으로 인하여 족배부, 발꿈치, Achilles건, 족저부등에 광범위한 결손 및 변형이 있었던 환자 21예에서 미세혈관술을 이용하여 Fasciocutaneous, musulocutaneous, muscle with skin graft 등으로 족부를 재건하여 추적중에 있으며 현재까지 관찰된 결과 및 장점, 단점과 문제점들을 보고하는 바이다.

적포도주를 첨가한 식빵의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of White Pan Bread added with Red Wine)

  • 생리기능물질을 함유한 적포도주의 제빵 이용 가능성을 알아보기 위하여 적포도주를 0, 19, 38 및 63% 첨가하여 식빵의 제빵 적성 및 품질 특성을 조사하였다. 발효팽창력, 부피, 비용적 및 굽기손실율은 적포도주 첨가량이 증가할수록 대조구와 비교하여 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며, 경도와 응집성, 탄력성 및 검성은 적포도주 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 빵의 crumb 색도에서 L값은 적포도주 첨가구가 대조구보다 낮은 값을 나타내었고, a값과 b값은 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 향미와 맛에서는 적포도주 38% 첨가구가 적포도주의 향과 맛이 잘 반영되어 관능적으로 가장 높은 점수를 받았다. 조직감과 전반적 기호도에서는 대조구와 적포도주를 19%, 38% 첨가한 실험구와 유의적인 차이는 없었다(p<0.05). 대조구와 비교했을 때 관능적 측면에서는 적포도주를 38%까지 첨가한 식빵의 관능이 우수하거나 유사하다는 결론을 도출하였다. 반면, 적포도주 63% 첨가구는 모든 관능 평가 항목에서 가장 낮은 점수를 받았다. 이러한 결과를 종합해 볼 때 관능적인 측면에서는 적포도주를 38%까지 첨가할 수 있는 것으로 판단되었다.

반응표면분석에 의한 덖음 모시풀잎 가루 첨가 머핀의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Muffins with added Dukeum (pan-fired) Ramie Leaf (Boehmeria nivea) Powder using Response Surface Methodology)

  • The objective of this study was to produce muffins with added dukeum ramie leaf powder and to compare them to a control. We used two different optimal composition ratios to produce muffins. The physical and sensory characters were varied by changing the ratio of dukeum ramie leaf powder, butter, and sugar to identify a critical value using response surface regression analysis. The ranges for the added dukeum ramie leaf powder, sugar, and butter were 15-35, 60-100, and 60-100 g, respectively. Muffins with added dukeum ramie leaves had comparable mineral and antioxidant vitamin compositions to those of dried ramie leaves. Muffins with added dukeum ramie leaf powder satisfied the suitability of the model, showing a p-value within 5% of significance level (p<0.05) for every aspect Volume and height differed without any association to ingredients. Lightness increased when less dukeum ramie leaf powder was added with more butter and sugar, redness increased when more dukeum ramie leaf powder and sugar were added with 70-80 g of butter, whereas yellowness increased when less dukeum ramie powder was added. Texture and toughness increased when less dukeum ramie leaf powder was added. The degree of gumminess and chewiness depended hugely on the amount of sugar. Cohesiveness, decreased with more dukeum ramie leaf powder and butter, whereas hardness increased with a medium range of ingredients. Sensory character increased with less dukeum ramie powder, and overall quality increased with more butter and sugar, but depended on the amount of added dukeum ramie power. The critical values from the sensory characteristics showed that 27 g of dukeum ramie powder, 72 g of sugar, and 86 g of butter was optimum.
