안드로이드 플랫폼 상에서 NAND 플래시 메모리 파일시스템 성능 분석 (A Performance Analysis of NAND Flash Memory File System on the Android Platform)

  • 본 논문에서는 NAND 플래시 전용 파일 시스템인 YAFFS2와 UBIFS에 대해 성능 분석을 한다. 각 파일 시스템에 따라 mount 시간 측정, read/write의 속도 측정, 메모리 소모량에 대하여 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 clean mount와 unclean mount에서는 UBIFS가 YAFFS2보다 약 49% 이상 향상되었다. 또한 read/write성능 분석에서 read성능은 큰 차이가 없었지만, write성능은 UBIFS가 압도적으로 향상 되었다는 것이 증명되었다. 반면, UBIFS가 YAFFS2에 비해 메모리 소모량은 약 26% 이상 높았다.

돼지고기가 공장근로자들의 신기능지표와 혈청 생화학치에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Pork Consumption on Renal and Hematochemical Indices in Workers Occupationally Exposed to Unclean Environments)

  • 본 연구는 공장 근로자들을 대상으로 작업환경에 대한 지표조사를 실시한 후 일상식이와 돼지고기를 섭취케 하고 신기능과 혈액지표성분에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 돼지고기의 영양학적인 우수성을 규명하고자 수행하였다. 작업환경이 비교적 열악한 남성근로자 45명에게 6주 동안 자신의 일상식이를 유지하면서 돼지고기를 주 2회(회당 150g) 급여한 다음 시험전후 신기능지표와 혈청생화학치를 조사하였다. 시험 종료 후 신기능지표중 NAG활성도는 감소한 반면 ALA농도는 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 혈청지질 중 총콜레스테롤(TC), 고밀도지단백(HDL) 및 저밀도지단백(LDL)-콜레스테롤농도는 차이가 없었고, 중성지방(TG)농도는 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.005). 돼지고기 섭취는 혈중 아연, 납 및 카드뮴농도를 감소시켰지만 유의성은 없었다. 본 연구에서 시험대상자의 작업환경이 일반 근로자들에 비해 산업적인 오염노출의 위험도가 더 높다는 사실을 감안할 때 일상식이와 함께 돼지고기의 추가적인 급여가 신기능지표중 NAG활성도 저하와 혈중 카드뮴(Cd)농도를 감소시킨 것으로 나타났다. 향후 이와 관련된 보다 정밀하게 통제된 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료되었다.

휘발성 Branched-Chain과 n-Chain Fatty Acids가 육고기의 종을 결정하는 향기 성분으로서의 역할 (Role for Volatile Branched-Chain and Other Fatty Acids in Species-Related Red Meat Flavors)

  • 2-Methylbutanoic, 3-methylbutanoic, 4-methylpentanoic, 2-ethylhexanoic, 4-methylhexanoic, 4-methyloctanoic, 6-methyloctanoic, 4-ethylhexanoic. 4-methylhexanoic 및 2-ethylhexanoic acids를 포함하는 다수의 volatile branched-chain fatty acids(VBCFAs)가 쇠고기, 돼지고기, 염소고기(미국산 흰염소고기, 한국산 흑염소고기), 양고기로부터 분리, 동정되었다. 쇠고기 향은 amino acid, carbohydrate, 그리고 lipid의 반응에 의해 생성된 향기성분에 의해 이루어지는 기본 meaty flavor로 결정되어 지는 반면, 염소고기가 양고기의 경우는 쇠고기의 기본향에 4-ethyloctanoic acid와 4-methyloctanoic acid의 독특한 노린내가 더해지므로 염소고기나 양고기 특유의 향을 내었다. 돼지고기는 3-methylbutanoic acid 함량이 다른 세종류에 비해 높고 3-methylbutanoic acid 특유의 꼬린냄새는 돼지고기의 기름층으로부터 나는 unclean flavor 에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 생각된다. 염소고기는 C5-C7 chain length의 volatile branched 및 n-chain fatty acids를 적게 함유하고 있는 반면 4-ethyloctanoc acid는 염소고기의 노린내를 내는 결정적인 화합물이었다. 4-Methyloctanoic acid는 양고기의 sweaty-muttony flavor를 내는 중요한 화합물이었으며 염소고기와는 달리 C5, C6, 그리고 C7 branched-chain fatty acids 도 상당량 함유되어 있었다. 한국산 흑염소고기와 미국산 흰염소고기 중에 들어있는 VBCFAs의 종류는 같으나, 한국산 흑염소고기가 미국산 흰염소고기 보다 노린내가 강하며 4-ethyloctanoic 의 함량도 높았다.

지역식량체계에서 소비자의 역할에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Consumers' Role in the Local Food System)

  • The problems of agriculture and food production in Korea are serious. These problems were brought about by the global food system. In this system, farmers and consumers are disconnected. The distance between food production on the farm to the consumer's table is too long. Farmers can not survive as their food dollar is steadily decreasing. Consumers have to eat old, unclean, and poor-quality foods because the foods do not come from nearby farms. They do not know where their food has come from or by whom their food was grown. In order to solve these problems, the transition from the global food system to a local food system is imperative. In a local food system, farmers and consumers are connected and they can help each other. This study identifies the consumers' role in the local food system. They are the purchasers of local food. They are active participants both in producing and distributing local food, and in taking part in the local food movement. Above all, they are the teachers of the younger generation consumers. While consumers in the global food system are passive, those in the local food system are active. We call the former "food illiterates" and the latter "food citizens." In order to revitalize the local food system, consumers must be food citizens, and therefore, consumer education is necessary. There are several interdependent media forms available for consumer education such as field trips, farm experiences, education for returning to the farm, and food education.

Experiences of Emergency Surgical Treatment for a COVID-19 Patient with Severe Traumatic Brain Injury at a Regional Trauma Center: A Case Report

  • Various medical scenarios have arisen with the prolonged coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. In particular, the increasing number of asymptomatic COVID-19 patients has prompted reports of emergency surgical experiences with these patients at regional trauma centers. In this report, we describe an example. A 25-year-old male was admitted to the emergency room after a traffic accident. The patient presented with stuporous mentality, and his vital signs were in the normal range. Lacerations were observed in the left eyebrow area and preauricular area, with hemotympanum in the right ear. Brain computed tomography showed a contusional hemorrhage in the right frontal area and an epidural hematoma in the right temporal area with a compound, comminuted fracture and depressed skull bone. Surgical treatment was planned, and the patient was intubated to prepare for surgery. A blood transfusion was prepared, and a central venous catheter was secured. The initial COVID-19 test administered upon presentation to the emergency room had a positive result, and a confirmatory polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test was administered. The PCR test confirmed a positive result. Emergency surgical treatment was performed because the patient's consciousness gradually deteriorated. The risk of infection was high due to the open and unclean wounds in the skull and brain. We prepared and divided the COVID-19 surgical team, including the patient's transportation team, anesthesia team, and surgical preparation team, for successful surgery without any transmission or morbidity. The patient recovered consciousness after the operation, received close monitoring, and did not show any deterioration due to COVID-19.

A study on the recognition of odor in Wonju traditional market, Gangwon-do

  • Purpose: This study aims to study the perception of merchants and customers about the odor problem of traditional markets in Wonju, Gangwon-do. Research design, data and methodology: A survey was conducted to investigate the perception. The survey consisted of 11 questions for merchants and 12 questions for customers. Results: In a survey of merchants - The question 'What kind of smell did you smell at the traditional market?' was investigated with multiple responses. Regarding the odor experience, unclean odor was the highest with 105 votes (36%), followed by rotting odor with 82 votes (28.1%) and other odors with 44 votes (15.1%). In a survey of customers - The question 'What kind of smell did you smell at the traditional market?' was investigated with multiple responses. As a result of the survey, filthy smell was the highest with 98 votes (43.2%). Next, rotten smell was found with 60 votes (26.4%) and others with 31 votes (13.7%). Conclusions: If the odor problem in the traditional market is solved, the economic and health damage to the merchants will be reduced. Further, it will help to revitalize traditional markets by increasing customer visits. As a solution, it is judged that it is good to study the direction of the establishment of a real-time monitoring system and the preparation and application of odor removal measures.

엘리베이터 사고예방을 위한 승강기 부품의 최적 수명 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Estimation of the Optimum Lifetime of Elevator Components for Elevator Accident Prevention)

  • As of December 2016, there are 608,828 elevators in operation in Korea and 179,790 elevators in more than 15 years. 30.4% of all elevator are aging. Improved maintenance of the elevator and proactive replacement of the parts of the elevator can extend the lifetime of the elevator and ensure safety. An unclean environment reduces the lifetime of elevator parts. If you do not clean the environment and prevent preventive parts replacement, eventually shortening the lifetime of the parts connected to the failed part or causing more damage will result in greater economic loss. Also, the risk of elevator safety accidents due to failures of elevator parts will be increased accordingly. The study of optimum replacement time of elevator parts will contribute to prevention of safety accident of elevator and prolongation of lifetime of elevator through preventive replacement of elevator parts.

  • Screen printing (SP) metal contact is typically applied to the solar cells for mass production. However, SP metal contact has low aspect ratio, low accuracy, hard control of the substrate penetration and unclean process. On the other hand, photo lithograpy (PL) metal contact can reduce defects by metal contact. In this investigation, PL metal contact was obtained the multi-layer structure of Ti/Pd/Ag by e-beam process. We applied SP metal contact and PL metal contact to single crystalline silicon solar cells, and demonstrated the difference of conversion efficiency. Because PL metal contact silicon solar cell has Jsc (short circuit current density) better than silicon solar cell applied SP metal contact.

  • 대부분의 저압 수용가는 단상 및 3상 부하를 동시에 공급할 수 있는 장점을 지닌 3상 4선식 배전시스템을 적용하고 있다. 이 시스템은 구조적인 간단함 때문에 종래의 단상 및 3상 부하를 분리하는 방식보다 편리하다. 그러나 고르지 못한 부하 불평형이나 낮은 전기품질은 출력저하나 손실과 같은 문제를 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실제현장에서 전압 및 전류 파형을 측정하여 국제적으로 허용되고 있는 전압불평형 기준과 비교 분석을 실시하였다.

초등학교급식 식단에 대한 조리공정별 HACCP에 관한 연구 (A Study on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points(HACCP) in School Lunch by Analyzing Food Cooking Processes)

  • A study was conducted in order to develope HACCP model in school lunch in Korea. Results: 1. Of 22 menus 4(18%) were non heating processes (#1), 2(9%) were food handling by using hands (#2), and 16(73%) were heating processes (#3). Of 279 menus 36(12.9%) belong to process #1, 8(2.9%) to process #2, and 235(84%) to process #3. 2. The critical control points for process #1 were contamination by hands of food handlers, and unsanitary food preparation habits of food handlers. Those for process #2 were improper heating temperature, contaminations by food handlers' hands, and unsanitary food handling habits, and cross contamination by unclean utensils and equipment. 3. Management criteria for the CCPs were conditions of food storage, refrigeration, freezing, food cooking temperature, personal hygiene, washing and sanitization of utensils and equipment. 4. Monitoring criteria for CCPs were observation, temperature checking, inspection of utensils and equipment, and practice of good personal hygiene. 5. Corrective actions were refusal of unsafe products, correction of improper temperature, proper cleaning and sanitization, and proper reheating time and temperature.
