This study is a case study focusing on the residents' participation and satisfaction in the promotion of rural development projects under the Block Grants System in Buyeo. Along with changes in the way to support rural development projects, it requires the autonomy, responsibility, creative planning etc. in the municipal governments and the active participation of local residents for the effective development in rural areas. The purpose of this study is to suggest some policy implications by analyzing the relationship between the level of participation of local residents and residents' satisfaction in rural development projects. This study explained the background and characteristics of rural development projects under the Block Grants System, and also reviewed the theoretical literature on the residents' participation and satisfaction, including the survey of the local residents. For this study, we selected some variables, and then divided into the participating groups such as the resident representatives, the development committee and the local residents. Finally, using statistical method we analyzed the level of participation and satisfaction of the local residents in rural areas.

본 연구의 목적은 축제 방문객의 참여동기가 참여몰입 및 참여만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 실증조사를 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일상탈출, 신기성 요인이 높을수록 참여몰입도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이벤트매력성, 사교성, 가족친화성이 높을수록 참여몰입도는 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 참여만족에는 참여동기 중외적 동기보다 내적 동기가 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 참여몰입이 높아질수록 참여만족도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 축제 관계자에게 중요한 전략적 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구는 노인의 생활체육활동의 참여와 정도에 따라 여가 만족도에 미치는 영향력을 파악함으로써 노인과 가족들이 보다 더 만족할 수 있도록 노인의 생활체육 참여의 활성화를 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구결과 노인의 생활체육 참가자와 비참가자의 여가만족도는 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 생활체육활동의 참여정도는 부분적으로 여가만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결론을 통하여 노인의 생활체육활동은 참여 그 자체로써 뿐만 아니라 참여 후 정도에 따라 여가만족을 향상시킨다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 노인의 여가만족과 삶의 질을 높이기 위해서는 보다 효율적인 생활체육활성화 방안에 따른 모형개발에 대한 논의가 필요하다고 사료된다.

It is important to understand what affects community satisfaction. Because community impacts and participation is a central aspect of fostering local community development, it is important to understand how these processes occur. The study aims to identify the factors influencing community satisfaction and to examine the moderating effects of community participation between community perceived impacts and community satisfaction. Data were collected from 328 usable questionnaires among community residents participating rural development projects in Buyeo and Chungyang county, Chungnam province. Results of a factor analysis yielded four dimensions of community perceived impacts which were negative socio-economic impacts, positive economic impacts, positive environmental impacts, and positive social impacts. Hierarchical regression analysis revealed that negative socio-economic impacts, positive economic impacts, and positive environmental impacts affected significantly for community satisfaction. it reveals that there are moderating effects on community participation of negative socio-economic impacts and positive economic impacts. It was suggested that negative socio-economic impacts, positive economic impacts, and community participation should be considered to implement rural development projects and its policy decision making.

Purpose: The effects of job participation on self-esteem and life satisfaction were investigated. Methods: Seventy residents of D welfare center located in G city who were >60 yr-of-age were selected for the study. The SERS research tool (Nugent and Thomas, 1993; modified by Koh, 2002) was used to assess self-esteem before and after a job participation program. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$value-based reliability of this tool was 0.923 and 0.920 before and after the job participation program, respectively. Cronbach's ${\alpha}$value-based life satisfaction as measured according to Choi (1986) was 0.932 and 0.933 before and after the job participation program, respectively. Results: The hypothesis that job participation program increases self esteem was supported by the results. The mean self esteem of subjects before and after the job program, 3.31 and 3.48, respectively, represented a significant increase. The hypothesis that the job participation program increases life satisfaction was supported by the results. The mean life satisfaction index of subjects before and after the program, 3.04 and 3.24, respectively, represents a significant increase. Conclusions: Increased job opportunities and income guarantee for adults, particularly the elderly, can increase self-esteem, life satisfaction, and emotional stability.

This study is to identify the influence of dual-earner couples' job related variables on marital satisfaction and quality of life. For the data set 228 dual-earner couples living in Pusan, Korea were chosen. The data were analyzed using M, SD, t-test, one-way ANOVA, scheffe test, and path analysis. The findings of this study are as follows; First, the level of marital satisfaction and quality of life are higher for husbands than wives. Second, for husbands, the level of marital satisfaction were differed by husbands' housework participation, husbands' support, and job satisfaction. Whereas for wives, the level of marital satisfaction were differed by husbands' house work participation, husbnand's job stressorors, and wives' employment motivation. Third, for husbands, the level of quality of life were differed by husbands' housework participation, husbands' support, job satisfaction, and husbands' job stressors. Whereas for wives, the level of quality of life were differed by income, husbands' support, job satisfaction, working hours, husbands' job stressorors, and wives' employment motivation. Fourth, for husbands, marital satisfaction, job satisfaction, and working hours have significant direct effect on quality of life. Besides, husbands' job stressors, and husbands' and husbands' housework participation, and job satisfaction are indirectly associated with quality of life.

Purpose: Mountain biking as a sport and recreational activity has grown rapidly over the previous two decades. The purpose of this study is to analyze differences of leisure satisfaction by demographic characteristics of mountain bike participants. Research design, data, and methodology: To accomplish the purpose, the study employed purposive sample method among nonprobability sampling and collected data from 300 participants. Of collected data, 288 responses were analyzed excepted for uncompleted responses. To analyze data, study utilized statistical techniques including descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, independent-sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA, and to verify difference between individual groups in relation to significant results, Duncan's multiple range was conducted. Results: Findings indicated no differences of leisure satisfaction by gender. Similarly, education level and occupations have not influence leisure satisfaction. Yet, differences of leisure satisfaction by participation frequencies were observed. Of participation frequencies, participants riding 5 times a week were more satisfied with MTB participation than the other groups participating less 3 times a week. Conclusions: The findings provide a couple of insights in terms of promoting MTB participation. In specific, results indicated that MTB would be attractive sports that is able to appeal huge populations regardless of their education and occupation. Furthermore, consistent participation is judged an effective way to increase psychological, educational, and social satisfaction. In this sense, regional MTB clubs could play a salient role in motivating riders to more participate in MTB. Hence, establishing strategies for encouraging club activities are needed.

이 연구는 대학생의 신체적 자기개념, 여가스포츠 참여만족도 및 여가스포츠 참여수준의 관계를 분석하는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구의 대상은 D시에 소재한 대학교 4곳에 재학 중이면서 여가스포츠에 참여중인 대학생들을 모집단으로 선정하여 비확률 표본추출법 중 편의표본추출법을 이용하여 총 400명을 표집 하였다. 질문문항의 일괄적인 처리 혹은 무응답, 오기입등 신뢰성이 떨어진다고 판단되어지는 47부의 설문지를 제외하고 총 353부를 분석에 사용하였다. AMOS 20.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 구조방정식모형을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체적 자기개념은 여가스포츠 참여만족에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 여가스포츠 참여수준은 여가스포츠 참여만족에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신체적 자기개념과 여가스포츠 참여만족의 관계에서 여가스포츠 참여수준의 유의한 매개효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다

서비스는 생산과 소비가 동시에 일어나는 특징으로 인해 고객이 서비스의 전달 및 생산과정에 직접적으로 참여해야 한다. 이러한 이유로 고객참여라는 변수는 서비스마케팅 분야에서 많은 실증적 결과들을 집적 해오고 있다. 최근 고객참여관련 연구들은 고객참여의 관계마케팅적 요소에 주목하고 있으며, 실증적으로 고객참여의 관계적 가치와의 관련성을 규명하고 있다. 즉, 고객참여도 관계속에서 이해되어야 한다는 것이다. 본 연구는 기존의 잘 알려진 고객참여와 관계형성의 토대라고 할 수 있는 접점만족의 영향관계에서 추가적으로 관계의 역동성을 고려한 몰입속도와 고객참여가 관계속에서 이해되어야 한다는 점을 고려한 고객참여속도라는 변수들의 접점만족과의 관계를 다중회귀분석 및 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 규명하고자 한다. 연구의 결과, 고객참여는 접점만족에 직접적으로 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 몰입속도 및 고객참여속도 역시 접점만족에 유의한 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 고객참여의 접점만족에의 영향을 조절할 것으로 기대한 부분은 모두 기각되었다. 조절적 역할을 규명하는 데는 실패하였으나, 관계의 역동성을 고려한 변수들이 서비스 산업에서 중요한 접점만족에서 비롯되는 다양한 변수들에 어떠한 영향관계를 가질 수 있는지에 대해 다양한 서비스 유형에 적용함으로써 연구의 폭을 넓힐 수 있는 계기를 마련하였다고 볼 수 있다.

This study was to investigate casual relation of psychological well-being and quality of life of married couples. For the data set 434 married couples living in Pusan, Korea were chosen. The data were analyzed using M, SD, t-test, Pearson's correlation, multiple regression, and path analysis. The findings of this study are as follows; First, marital satisfaction and the level of quality of life are higher for husbands than wives. Whereas psychological distress is higher for wives than husbands. Second, for husbands, husband's level of education, job satisfaction, husband's housework participation, and job stress have significant effect on marital satisfaction. For wives, wife's level of education, husband's housework participation, and husband's job stress have significant effect on marital satisfaction. Third, for husbands, job satisfaction and job stress have significant effect on psychological distress. For wives, husband's job stress have significant effect on psychological distress. Fourth, for husbands, job stress, marital satisfaction and psychological distress have significant direct effect on quality of life. Besides, husband's age, husband's level of education, job satisfaction, job stress, husband's housework participation, and marital satisfaction are indirectly associated with quality of life. For wives, marital satisfaction and psychological distress have significant direct effect on quality of life. Besides, wife's level of education, husband's job stress, husband's housework participation, and marital satisfaction are indirectly associated with quality of life.
