Objectives: The purpose of this study was to improve the working environment by identifying the work satisfaction of the cleaning workers of the aircraft and measuring and assessing the harmful factors of the cleaning process. Methods: We asked 23 cleaning companies for questionnaires and got 100 answers from 5 companies. The A-E Airline health manager has been contacted to establish a site survey schedule. The in-flight and lounge were measured using direct reading equipment. The harmful factor to be measured are noise, dust, temperature, volatile organic compound, total airborne bacteria, and total airborne bacteria. Results: Uncomfortable positions when replacing blanket, cleaning the table, and cleaning the floor have been identified as factor that reduce work satisfaction. Noise when replacing newspapers and cleaning toilets has been identified as a factor that lowers work satisfaction. Temperature and humidity were found to reduce work satisfaction during in-flight disinfection. Measurements of aircraft cabin and lounge with direct read equipment have shown that none of the items exceed the exposure criteria. Conclusions: As a result of measuring direct-reading equipment, no items exceeded the exposure criteria for each harmful factor. A clear survey of the working environment is required based on the results, and additional research is needed using personal sample measurement.
Hypertext raises question to general assumptions about our conventional conceptions of education. In this essay, three kinds of learning-models are presented by the application of "writing" hypertext literature to the English education of the elementary school. These models, which I call the "scene-centered" system, give knowledge to learners in non-linear, non-sequential structure. The term "scene" is a single concept or idea composed of a single sub-text, which is to be made by the group of students. This system is focused on the collaborative composition of students. Students, by generating sub-texts and connecting texts, perform the educational activities to expand the source text. The "scene-centered" system is, to put it into a Barte's term, a "writerly text." But in order to "write," "reading" should be accompanied. So, this system is a learning model in which writing and reading are carried on simultaneously. In all the process, students play a role of multi-user, with three access rights: read, write, and annotate. So, students making use of hypertext systems will act as reader-authors. And teachers will take the new role in collaborative writing environment. No longer the central authoritarian evaluator, they will become consultants, co-writers, coaches of their students.

In case of reading passport using a smart phone in contrast with a dedicated passport reading system, MRZ(Machine Readable Zone) character recognition can be hard when the character strokes were broken, touched or blurred according to the lighting condition, and the position and size of MRZ character lines were varied due to the camera distance and angle. In this paper, the effective recognition algorithm of the passport MRZ information using a combined neural network recognizer of CNN(Convolutional Neural Network) and ANN( Artificial Neural Network), is proposed under the various sized and skewed passport images. The MRZ line detection using connected component analysis algorithm and the skew correction using perspective transform algorithm are also designed in order to achieve effective character segmentation results. Each of the MRZ field recognition results is verified by using five check digits for deciding whether retrying the recognition process of passport MRZ information or not. After we implement the proposed recognition algorithm of passport MRZ information, the excellent recognition performance of the passport MRZ information was obtained in the experimental results for PC off-line mode and smart phone on-line mode.

We investigated the impedance matching characteristics of UHF-band RFID tag antenna and tag chip for increased reading range. A voltage multiplier designed using 0.4 $\mu$m zero-$V_T$ MOSFET showed that DC output voltage of about 2 V can be obtained using standard CMOS process. The input impedance of the voltage multiplier was examined to achieve impedance matching to the RFID tag antenna using analytical and numerical approaches. The input impedance of the voltage multiplier could be varied in a wide range by selecting the size of MOSFET and the number of multiplying stages, and thus can be impedance matched to a tag antenna in presence of other tag circuit blocks. A meander line inductively-coupled RFID tag antenna operating at UHF band also shows the feasibility of impedance matching to tile RFID tag chip.

The smart tourism chatbot service provide smart tourism services to users easily and conveniently along with the smart tourism app. In this paper, the tourism information QA (Question Answering) service is proposed based on the task-oriented smart tourism chatbot system [13]. The tourism information QA service is an MRC (Machine reading comprehension)-based QA system that finds answers in context and provides them to users. The tourism information QA system consists of NER (Named Entity Recognition), DST (Dialogue State Tracking), Neo4J graph DB, and QA servers. We propose tourism information QA service uses the tourism information NER model and DST model to identify the intent of the user's question and retrieves appropriate context for the answer from the Neo4J tourism knowledgebase. The QA model finds answers from the context and provides them to users through the smart tourism app. We develop the tourism information QA model by transfer learning the bigBird model, which can process the context of 4,096 tokens, using the tourism information QA dataset.

The criteria such as ASTM recommends that the zero reading process of CPT must be performed in the same temperature condition with underground in order to reduce the effect of temperature. However, this method can not consider the change of temperature occurred during penetration. In this study, ultra small size temperature sensor with 0.5mm in diameter is manufactured to estimate and compensate the effect of temperature by using FBG sensor. The continuous temperature changes are monitored during cone penetration by using FBG temperature sensor installed in cone penetrometer. The temperature compensated tip resistances show the uniform and similar distributions with depth in different with originally measured tip resistance in cohesive soil. This study verifies that the tip resistances measured by previous zero reading method are affected by the change of underground temperature, and suggests the new temperature compensation technique using by FBG temperature sensor.
This study attempts to provide a comprehensive framework for listening strategy use among university students in Korea in relation to TOEIC listening scores. In particular, this study tests whether motivation, based on the self-determination theory, mediates listening strategy use on listening comprehension (LC) process and whether reading comprehension ability moderates the use of listening strategy in LC achievement. One hundred seventy six freshmen students participated in the study during their first semester required English course. Self-report questionnaires were used to assess students' motivation and LC strategy use. The responses were statistically analyzed via the moderator and mediator model. The results indicate that internalized motivation mediates the use of listening strategy in LC achievement; however, reading comprehension skill doesn't affect students' use of listening strategies in relation to listening skill achievement. In other words, students who have internalized motivation were able to utilize listening strategies effectively in terms of achievement of the TOEIC listening skills. The findings of the current study offer in-depth understanding of the relationship among use of LC strategies, intrinsic motivation, and listening skill achievement shared by the mediator and moderator models.

Objectives: Polyurethanes are usually formed by the reactions of liquid diisocyanate components with liquid polyol resin components. Although polyurethanes have advantageous properties, such as their versatility, the manufacturing process generates diisocyanates, which can cause asthma and respiratory irritation in exposed workers. This study compared the differences in diisocyante concentrations between two different (molded foam and slabstock foam) polyurethane foam manufacturing methods. Materials and Methods: Active samples and direct reading samples of diisocyanates (MDI, TDI) were collected in five polyurethane foam manufacturing companies. Results: Workers' exposure concentrations of diisocyanate (GM: 4.078 ppb, range: 1.190~23.770 ppb) in a slabstock foam manufacturing company were much higher than those (GM: 0.011 ppb, range: 0.001~0.055 ppb) in molded foam manufacturing companies. The results of the direct reading samples of diisocyanate indicated that the rapid reaction zone of the slabstock foam processes emitted large amounts of diisocyanates. Conclusions: The exposure levels of diisocyanates for all molded foam workers were much lower than the occupational exposure standard (5 ppb); however, exposure levels for many slabstock foam workers exceeded the standard.
High throughput-drug screening plays a pivotal role for early stage of drug discovery process. In the course of assay development for screening of cell death-inducing agents, a protocol that is simple, time-saving, and high throughput-compatible was designed which was confirmed that the protocol can be worked by a HTS-compatible machine. In 96-well format, PC-3 cancer cells (1${\times}10^{4}$ cells/ml) were cultured for 24 hr. After 24 h-incubation with various medicinal plants extracts, the cells were then stained with DAPI for 30 min. The fluorescence intensity of the stained cells was measured semi-automatically with a multilabel counter. To test whether the present assay system effectively works, we screened about 850 medicinal plant extracts, and selected 1 positive crude extracts that contained cell death-inducing activity. These results suggest that the protocol is highly amenable to HTS implementation for a cell death-inducing agent(s).
This paper aims at exploring the processing mechanism of filler-gap dependency resolution and feature checking in Korean wh-constructions. Based on their findings on Japanese sentence processing, Aoshima et al. (2004) have argued that the parser posits a gap in the embedded clause in head-final languages, unlike in head-initial languages, where the parser posits a gap in the matrix clause. In order to verify their findings in the Korean context, and to further explore the mechanisms involved in processing Korean wh-constructions, the present study replicated the study done by Aoshima et al., with some modifications of problematic areas in their original design. Sixty-four Korean native speakers were presented Korean sentences containing a wh-phrase in four conditions, with word order and complementizer type as the two main factors. The participants read sentences segment-by-segment, and the reading times at each segment were measured. The reading time analysis showed that there was no such slowdown at the embedded verb in the scrambled conditions as observed in Aoshima et al. Instead, there was a clear indication of the wh-feature checking process in terms of a major slowdown at the relevant region.
