Mirror symmetry for del Pezzo surfaces was studied in [3] where they suggested that the mirror should take the form of a Landau-Ginzburg model with a particular type of elliptic fibration. This argument came from symplectic considerations of the derived categories involved. This problem was then considered again but from an algebro-geometric perspective by Gross, Hacking and Keel in [8]. Their construction allows one to construct a formal mirror family to a pair (S, D) where S is a smooth rational projective surface and D a certain type of Weil divisor supporting an ample or anti-ample class. In the case where the self intersection matrix for D is not negative semi-definite it was shown in [8] that this family may be lifted to an algebraic family over an affine base. In this paper we perform this construction for all smooth del Pezzo surfaces of degree at least two and obtain explicit equations for the mirror families and present the mirror to dP₂ as a double cover of ℙ².

The purpose of this study is to explore parental strain, mastery, sex role attitude and dyadic adjustment after the transition to parenthood in dual earner family. Using couple data from a sample of 284 dual earner couple, pair t-test, multiple regression analysis, one was ANOVA was used. Major findings were as follows. 1) There were differences between wives and husbands in dyadic adjustment, physical strain, mastery, sex role attitude. Specially, couples experience more emotional strain than physical strain, and wives experience more parental strain than husbands. 2) Couple's parental strain is considered personal attribution rather than family one, but mastery is different. 3) Couple's psychological variables have an effect on the dyadic adjustment sores, especially husband's sex role attitude influences own dyadic adjustment and wife's dyadic adjustment. Wife's mastery also own dyadic adjustment and husband's dyadic adujstment.

The number of chronosomes and karyotypes in eight species of the family Bradybaenidae were analyzed by air-drying method using gonad. The mitotic haploid chromosome numbers of Acusta despecta sieboldiana were 29 and conisisted of 12 pairs metacentric, 17 pairs submetacentric chromosomes. The mitotic haploid chromosomes were 29 and 11 pairs metacentric and 17 pairs submetacentric and 1 pair telocentric chromosomes in Koreanohadra kurodana; 29 and 10 pairs metacentric chromosomes in K. koreana' 29 and 10 pairs metacentric and 18 pairs submetacentric, and 1 pair acrocentric chromosomes in Karaftohelix adamsi; 28and 10 pairs metacentric, and 18 pairs submetacintric chromosomes in Aegista chosenica; 28 and 14 pairs metacentric and 14 pairs submetacentric chromosomes in A.(Plectotropis) diversa; 28 and 15 pairs metacentric, 10 pairs submetacentric and 3 pairs acrocentric chromosomes in A. (p.)quelpartinsis; 29 and 12 pairs metacentric and 9 pairs submetacentric and 2 pairs telocentric chromosomes in Nesiohelix samarangae.

Pulmonate snail, Onchidium hongkongensis from muddy flat of Muan-gun was recorded as new to the Korean molluscan fauna. Shell-less body light-gray or reddish-gray in colour, oval shaped with numerous pustules on dorsal surface usually covered with mud. Black pair of tentacles with terminal eyes. Including the new record in this study, the family Onchidiidae 2 genera and 2 species in the Korean waters.

A new genus with a new species of poecilostomatoid copepod, Polyankylis orientalis, is described based on a pair of specimens collected from a tide pool on muddy shore in Korea. It represents a new family of the lichomolgoid complex with the following distinguishing characters: (1) 6-segmented antennule (resulted from the fusion of the third and fourth segments) with additional aesthetascs in male, (2) hook on mediodistal corner of antennal coxobasis (first segment), (3) proximal and distal scales on the outer margin of mandible present, (4) main axis of mandibular gnathobase short and lacking notches at the base of mandibular lash, and (5) inner margin of mandibular lash with denticulate processes. Additionally, maxillar syncoxa carries a large, pointed process on ventral surface, legs 1-4 do not show sexua1 dimorphism, and leg 4 is uniramous with 1-segmented exopod. A detailed discussion is given of its affinities with the ten existing families of the lichomolgoid complex.

목 적 : 현재 연구 개발되고 있는 PspA에 근거한 폐구균 단백 백신은 기존의 백신과 달리 여러 종류의 혈청형에 대해 동시에 광범위한 방어 면역을 유도할 가능성이 있다. 동물 실험에서 PspA는 폐구균 보균과 호흡기 감염 뿐 아니라 패혈증에 대해서도 방어 면역을 형성함이 보고되었다. 본 연구는 한국 소아와 어른에게서 분리된 폐구균에서 PspA 백신에 포함된 PspA family인 family 1과 family 2의 분포를 알기 위해 시행되었다. 방 법 : 총 89주의 폐구균을 대상으로 항혈청을 이용하여 슬라이드 응집 방법으로 폐구균 피막의 혈청형을 분류하였다. 또한 PCR을 이용하여 family 1과 family 2의 시발체를 사용하여 분리된 폐구균의 PspA family를 정하였다. 결 과 : 총 89주의 폐구균 분리주에서 17 종류의 폐구균 혈청형이 분류되었다. PspA 종류는 79주(88.8%)에서 결정되었는데 20주(22.5%)가 family 1, 59주(66.3%)가 family 2이었다. 아홉주(10.1%)에서 family 1과 2에 모두 양성 반응을 보였으므로 family 1과 2 단백을 포함하는 PspA 백신의 가능한 방어 범위는 98.9%이었다. 각 PspA family들은 균이 분리된 사람의 나이, 분리된 곳, 혹은 페니실린에 대한 감수성 등과 의미 있는 관련성이 없었으나 피막 혈청형에 따라서는 의미 있는 차이를 보였다. 결 론 : 본 연구에서 분리된 폐구균 분리주의 98.9%가 PspA family 1과 2에 속하였으므로 이를 포함한 백신은 폐구균에 대해 혈청형과 관련 없이 좀 더 광범위한 효과를 보일 것으로 추정된다. 향후 좀더 다양하고 많은 폐구균 분리주를 대상으로 PspA family의 연구가 이루어진다면 PspA 백신의 개발과 적용에 많은 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.

Motivated and inspired by ideas due to Matsushida and Takahashi [J. Approx. Theory 134(2005), 257-266] and Martinez-Yanes and Xu [Nonlinear Anal. 64(2006), 2400-2411], we prove some strong convergence theorems of modified iteration processes for a pair (or finite family) of relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces, which improve and extend the corresponding results of Matsushida and Takahashi and Martinez-Yanes and Xu in Banach and Hilbert spaces, repectively.

Motion capture system that is used in movies and games today requires large equipments and expensive that it is still not common as a reasonable family game. Therefore, this research project focused on solving these problems mentioned above and move on to develop a new type of approach and by using reasonable family use USB camera and augmented reality to develop a bodily sensation motion capture system which can be used in making a video game. In order to develop this, I used a pair of Marker which can be placed on both hands and one USB camera and the image that was extracted in real time goes through the AR toolkit and ed the 3D coordinates of data and developed a motion capture system.

In this paper we study the problem of normal families of meromorphic functions concerning shared values. Let F be a family of meromorphic functions in the plane domain $D{\subseteq}{\mathbb{C}}$ and n, k be two positive integers such that $n{\geq}k+1$, and let a, b be two finite complex constants such that $a{\neq}0$. Suppose that (1) $f+a(f^{(k)})^n$ and $g+a(g^{(k)})^n$ share b in D for every pair of functions f, $g{\in}F$; (2) All zeros of f have multiplicity at least k + 2 and all poles of f have multiplicity at least 2 for each $f{\in}F$ in D; (3) Zeros of $f^{(k)}(z)$ are not the b points of f(z) for each $f{\in}F$ in D. Then F is normal in D. And some examples are provided to show the result is sharp.

Activating and inhibitory cell surface receptors play important roles in regulation of immune responses. Recent progress has demonstrated that many inhibitory receptors pair with activating, as well as inhibitory, isoforms, both of whose genes are located in small clusters on a chromosome. We and others identified paired activating and inhibitory immunoglobulin-like receptors, designated myeloid-associated immunoglobulin-like receptors (MAIR) (CD300). MAIR is a multigene family consisting of nine genes on a small segment of mouse chromosome 11. MAIR family receptors are preferentially expressed on myeloid cells, including macrophages, dendritic cells, granulocytes, and bone-marrow-derived cultured mast cells, and a subset of B cells and regulate activation of these cells. Thus, MAIR plays an important role in innate immunity mediated by myeloid cells.
