  • Managing electronic medical record is very difficult, because the currently electronic medical system is not designed standard that is uniform and proper. In this paper, in order to overcome this situation, we propose meta-data for the management of the electronic medical record as a single system. To this end, we first analyzed the research on electronic medical records and related standards. Second, we, on the basis of the analysis result, abstracted electronic medical record and entities related on electronic medical, and we designed an entity-relationship model. And finally, we have to complete the meta-data through the setting attributes in this entity-relationship model. Through this study, it was possible that we can complete metadata highly expressive medical records, and suggest an alternative for problem of current medical records systems.

  • The family Triphoridae Gray, 1847 is a group of marine microgastropods characterized by sinistral (left-coiled) shells except for the subfamily Metaciinae, which has dextral shell coiling. We report a new record of Mastonia rubra (Hinds, 1843) collected from the intertidal zone from Jeju Island, Korea and revise species list for Korean Triphoridae species. Mastonia rubra is distinguished from Inforis fusiformis(Kosuge, 1961) by the purple color of the first and second whorls of the teleoconch, whereas they are light colored and nearly white corresponding whorls in I. fusiformis. Including this new record, the Korean Triphoridae comprises 20 species from 15 genera.

  • Fifty-five specimens of Octopus longispadiceus, belonging to the family Octopodidae, were collected for the first time from the East Sea of Korea and identified by DNA barcoding. This species is characterized by its long right third arm and ligula, the presence of enlarged suckers in the mature male, small white spots on the mantle, head, and arms, and no cirrus above the eye. A molecular analysis of the partial cytochrome c oxidase subunit I gene showed that these specimens are all the same species and have the smallest genetic distance with O. longispadiceus (Kimura- two-parameter distance = 0.002-0.003). A new Korean name, "Bal-mun-eo" is proposed for this species.

  • This is the first report of Snyderina yamanokami, from the subfamily Tetraroginae of the family Scorpaenidae, collected in Korea. The specimen (175.3 mm long) was caught in the coastal waters of Jeju Island on a commercial longline hook on 9 September 2009. This species is characterized by the following morphological traits: 9-11 dorsal fin rays, 5-6 anal fin rays, 13-15 pectoral fin rays, 5 ventral fin rays, pectoral fin tip reaching or extending past the origin of the anal fin, palatines toothless, and four dark spots on the middle of the body. We suggest a new Korean name, "Keun-mi-yeok-chi," for S. yamanokami.

  • The genus Psilomma $F{\ddot{o}}rster$, 1856 and a species of the genus, P. dubium Kieffer, 1908 are recorded for the first time from South Korea. The genus Psilomma is also recorded from the Eastern Palaearctic region for the first time. Redescription and photographs of the diagnostic characters of P. dubium are provided.

  • A single specimen of Festucalex erythraeus, belonging to the family Syngnathidae, was first collected from Seogwipo, Korea, on August 12, 2019. This species is characterized by a low median dorsal snout ridge, and a lateral trunk ridge extending to the last trunk ring. Festucalex erythraeus is similar to the congeneric species, F. rufus: however, it is distinguished by the number of tail rings (32-37 in F. erythraeus vs. 31 in F. rufus). Here, we suggest the new Korean names "Min-sil-go-gi-sog" for the genus Festucalex and "Deung-huin-jeom-sil-go-gi" for the species F. erythraeus.

  • The purpose of this thesis is studying for a legal basis and definition of Oil Record Book. In the thesis, comparing with the laws related to punishment for false entry of Oil Record Book of the maritime countries and korea Act. Studying the improvement marine pollutants from ships by suggesting legal and institutional proposal which are able to make themselves increase effectiveness for recording and inspection of Oil Record Book. Suggest the solution of the problems raised in this thesis, First, The Oil Record Book should not be the evidence which is having the effectiveness simply after the accident of marine pollution, but take sanction on pre-inspection of Oil Record Book as establish the concrete administrative punishment for each contents-based record of Oil Record Book. Second, It should set up of judgement criteria of false entry of Oil Record Book by port state control officer. Third, It should strengthen the legal effectiveness of Oil Record Book contents such as Code(c) ; oil residue, Code(d); relating to bilge discharge by including premeditation for false entry of Oil Record Book. Also, The enhancement of role for marine pollution prevention manager raise the effectiveness of Oil Record Book as recognizing the importance of Oil Record Book.

  • A single specimen of Glossogobius olivaceus was collected from Ulsan, Korea in May 2015, representing the first identification of the species in Korean waters. This species is characterized by several blackish dots on the nape, developed sensory pores and papillae on the head, 33 lateral line scales, and 27 vertebrae. The newly proposed Korean names of the genus and species are "Geom-eun-ban-jeom-mang-duk-sok" and "Geom-eun-ban-jeom-mang-duk", respectively.

  • Two porcelain crab species, Aliaporcellana pygmaea (De Man, 1902) and Lissoporcellana nakasonei (Miyake, 1978), are reported here for the first time from Korean waters based on specimens collected from Jeju Island, Korea. The genus Aliaporcellana Nakasone and Miyake, 1969, and Lissoporcellana Haig, 1978 are also reported here for the first time in Korea. Aliaporcellana pygmaea has a wide distribution. The specimen reported here is the most northern record of this species. While, Lissoporcellana nakasonei, associated with anthozoans, was known for distributing range from New Caledonia to southern Japan. As a result, the distribution rage of L. nakasonei is changed to Korea. Now, 12 species of porcelain crabs have been reported in Korean waters.

This species is characterized by scales with a flexible membranous edge, a distinctive dark dot on the upper axis of the pectoral fin base, 39 lateral line scales, and 24~25 vertebrae. The newly proposed Korean name of the genus Moolgarda is "Cho-seung-kkori-sung-eo-sok" and that of M. seheli is "Cho-seung-kko-ri-sung-eo".
