Big tech companies are further strengthening its status against the background of data accumulation, price competitiveness by the platform, and competitive advantage due to the network effect. The competition subcommittee of the European Union(EU) imposed a huge fine on Google for antitrust violations, which was interpreted as an attempt to collect Google's unpaid taxes. In fact, taxation efforts in the form of 'Google tax' are underway, targeting expedient tax avoidance by global platforms. It has power and has a considerable influence on the startup ecosystem. The domestic sales and tax scale of global platforms, which have a great impact on domestic content startups and small and medium-sized venture companies, are not accurately measured. In the case of Google, according to research literature, sales in Korea were estimated at about 2 trillion to 3 trillion won in 2017, but Google Korea reported sales of 290 billion won in 2021 and paid 13 billion won in taxes. This study aims to verify the economic effect of the global platform that has a great influence on Korea, and specifically to quantitatively estimate the annual domestic sales and taxes of Google, a representative global platform. As a result of estimating Google's annual domestic sales and taxes based on the figures presented in the document related to Google's economic effect published by Google, the result was 4 to 9 trillion won in annual sales and 390.6 to 913.1 billion won in taxes. This study is meaningful in that it provides basic data on the direction of national and tax policies in the future digital economy era by estimating the problem of tax authority by country of global platform companies with a specific example of Google.

With the acceleration of economic globalization, the development of aviation logistics plays an increasingly significant role in the logistics industry. As the foundation of aviation logistics development, airport terminals are attracting increasing attention. In this respect, the aim of this research is to analyze 65 academic papers on Chinese airport terminals from 2003 to 2020 by utilizing analytic keywords of academic papers and suggest the research trend of Chinese airport terminals. The SNA was adopted as research methodology. Airport Terminal, Boned, and Chinese Mainland were the keywords for the first period (2003-2008), while the second period (2009-2014) included the keywords such as China, DEA, Airport, and Flight Delay. For the third period (2015-2020), Airport Competitiveness and Aviation Network were also highly connected keywords. This indicates that with the growth of the economy, the research trend of China's airport terminals has been gradually expanding from infrastructure construction to network development. The results have implications on suggesting the research trend of Chinese airport terminals, and providing insights to the policy makers, academics, and practitioners in neighboring countries including Korea.

This study investigated to explore the broadened concept of the subscription service market and categorize of the subscription market and its consumer behavior. We examined the satisfaction of the service users and the reasons for terminating the subscription. Survey respondents were 443 people in their 20s and 30s, who actively use subscription services. As a result of the survey it was found that users in their 20s were more satisfied with the overall subscription service than those in their 30s, and that user's residential areas were evenly distributed regardless of metropolitan area or non-metropolitan area. As a reason for the cancellation of subscription service: the lower the novelty of subscription, the less personalization tailored to consumer, the lack of feeling self-growth while using the service, and the more termination is made. Our findings have magnified the understanding of consumers behaviors in the age of 20s and 30s of using and terminating subscription service and hopefully be used for future studies of subscription services.

The purpose of this study was to research how emotional factors affect decision-making on the maintenance and abandonment of a patent, and to present new criteria for patent policies. The types of Korean patent abandonment were analyzed according to the patent holding period, and a questionnaire survey was carried out to verify whether there are differences among patentees in terms of sunk cost bias, endowment effect, and coupling or not. Individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises showed relatively greater emotional bias toward sunk cost and endowment effect than large companies, and the sunk cost effect decreased as decision-making experience increased. In addition, the reduction in the payment cycle of the patent renewal fee has a positive effect on the increase in the willingness to use the patent right, and the individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises has a greater synergistic effect than the case of large companies, in particular. This study are expected to play a part in establishing policies to minimize wasteful factors of patent assets based on the propensity of the patentees.

The fuel-cut coast-down driving mode is activated when the acceleration pedal is released with transmission gear engaged, and it's a default function for electronic-controlled engine of vehicles. The fuel economy becomes better because fuel injection stops during fuel-cut driving mode. A fuel-cut detection method is suggested in the study and it's based on the speed, acceleration and road gradient data from GPS sensor. It detects fuel-cut driving mode by comparing calculated acceleration and realtime acceleration value. The one is estimated with driving resistance in the condition of fuel-cut driving and the other is from GPS sensor. The detection accuracy is about 80% when the method is verified with road driving data. The result is estimated with 9,600 data set of vehicle speed, acceleration, fuel consumption and road gradient from test driving on the road of 12km during 16 minutes, and the road slope is rather high. It's easy to detect fuel-cut without injector signal obtained by connecting wire. The detection error is from the fact that the variation range of speed, acceleration and road gradient data, used for road resistance force, is larger than the value of fuel consumption data.

Since 20th century, the rapid growth in economy development and ill-advisable construction of infrastructure which causing injury of nature has generated an El Nino phenomenon problems. For this reason, establishment of heritage preservation plan is being required to prevent damages of important cultural assets from natural disaster. In this study, we obtained both 3D-dxf and VRML-wrl(which support 3D image) files from stone pagodas(stone cultural heritages) by using the digital photogrammetric program. Then database are formed by these two files with other attribute informations. And we made existing cultural heritages management information data format to be unified using JAVA, HTML, and Cosmo Player. Thus, we could construct the web-server for Cultural Heritages Management Information System to contribute not only effective management but also ease of use for expert or amateur user in using of cultural assets informations. And, in virtual reality system, we could make texture presented like as actual texture by using the VRML program.

As coming Senior-Shift age, senior users are regarded as one of the importance user groups in the library. This study is to find the usage patterns and needs of libraries and digital libraries by 152 seniors and to compare with young-old age (baby boom generation) and elderly age. As a result, total seniors visited regularly and preferred political & social, religion & philosophy, and history & geography. While the baby boom generation are using the economy & finance, art & culture compared to the older. And the baby boom generation visit for self-development and the older visit for leisure purposes. Secondly, If the search fails, the baby boomers control the results themselves, while the older is more turn to the librarians. It can be described as the need for a librarian exclusively responsible for the senior. Thirdly, senior have difficulties in access and use of search aided tools or functions. Therefore, this study suggested that it is necessary to build an intuitive interface using the help and menu descriptions for senior who have poor access to convenience and define functions.

Medium and Small Firms have faced complex and dynamic environments that have been attributed to increases in the globalization and competitiveness of the global economy. To success in this environments, Medium and Small Firms should set up management strategy and introduce strategic performance management system. And, the strategic performance management system are modified to fit in management strategy. The purpose of this study is to find out firstly, whether management strategy types affect the organizational performance and the intensity of the types makes a difference on the performance and secondly, whether the evaluation system or the degree of utilizing the system affects the organizational performance and finally, whether the interaction between management strategy types and strategic performance management system makes a significant influence on the organizational performance. In this paper, we categorize the type of strategy for Medium and Small Firms in Gyeongsangbuk-do and Daegu areas, and study whether Firm's performance can be improved by designing appropriate strategic performance management system.

This study investigated many factors which had to be considered importantly in space planning for the cultural contents exhibition hall on the basis of establishment cases at this time that cultural contents were considered very importantly in the national economy. It must be a priority to set up the concept of the exhibition space which can encompass exhibition spaces, exhibits, the approach to experience exhibitions and others for the effective planning for exhibition spaces showing cultural contents. Visitors' moving lines should be planned based on that concept setting. It is necessary to reflect human attributes that people detect environmental information and perceive the environment through their sensory organs and plan moving lines considering visitors' cognitive, emotional and psychological factors which they can feel according to the temporal order. In addition, this study led visitors to respond exhibits through their five senses and increased the effects that visitors appreciated exhibition spaces, actively getting out of the way that visitors experienced exhibitions, which might be limited to sight. This study will be able to provide specific space planning methods related to the establishment of cultural industry-based professional exhibition halls which have been increased day by day at this time that culture-based industries are considered to be important. Moreover, it will be helpful in reducing the trial and effort factor in the exhibition hall establishment project.

This study investigated development method of governance of local residence, central and local government based on fishing ports as a new paradigm for restoration of sustainable space environment on Hyeonpo Harbor in Ulleung Island. According to the result of conducting a questionnaire survey on residents of Ulleung Island in order to carry out the research purposes, vulnerable living environment as poor accessibility and lack of hospital, community health center, and shopping district were pointed out as the biggest problem of residential environment in Ulleung Island of today. Secondly, there was a high recognition that development project on Ulleung Island of the government and local government is not actually contributing to the revitalization of regional economy and improvement in quality of life of Ulleung Island residents, and thirdly, lack of understanding on the importance or usage of various resources in Ulleung Island and insufficient support of the central government and local autonomous entity were pointed out as the bottleneck factors in implementation of the Ulleung Island development project. Fourthly, they perceived the current management level of Hyeonpo Harbor to be unsatisfactory. The results of this study demonstrated the importance of durability of development entities, vision of development of Hyeonpo Harbor, effort for the change of ownership mind, phased implementation considering reality of the area, and development that can provide small-scale profitable contents than a large theme.
