Last blades of low-pressure turbine in nuclear power plant are the highly damaged part and always suffered from different types of loadings leading to various stress components, stresses due to centrifugal force and steam flow loading. Especially, centrifugal stress generated by turbine rotation is one of the main problems and more significant than other stresses as they have the greatest effect on total stress. Therefore, this study was performed to obtain the important information for estimation model development of the blade centrifugal stress level and distribution.

Innate immunity is a first line defence system in the body which is for sensing signals of danger such as pathogenic microbes or host-derived signals of cellular stress. Pattern recognition receptors (PRR's), which present in the cell memebrane, are suspect the infection through pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMP), and activate innate immunity with response to promote inflammation via inflammatory cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, and cytokines. Inflammasome are protein complexes which are part of innate immunity in inflammation to remove pathogens and repair damaged tissues. What is the important role of inflammation in disease? In this review, we are focused on the action mechanism of NLRP3 inflammasome in inflammatory diseases such as asthma, atopic dermatitis, and sepsis.

This study analyzed sulfate resistance of strongly acid-resistant inorganic binder based on industrial byproducts. According to the study experiment, compared to OPC mixture, the mixture of high acid-resistant inorganic binder had excellent chemical resistance against 10% H₂SO₄ solution. In the case of ordinary portland cement, its sample with 28 days of immersion had severe corrosion on its mortar erosion part, and thus external appearance was damaged greatly, and compression strength decreased by around 57% and more.

In this paper, we analyzed carbonization pattern of Ligth Emitting Diode(LED) lamp that become burnout by outside flame. Surface side can know that void is formed greatly than central part in section analysis of electric wire that is carbonized by outside flame. Chared globe displayed special quality that lump of abnormal carbonization falls was formed, and becomes melting among carbonization process. The LED resistance of forward direction is about 1.74 [$M{\Omega}$], and backward resistance is about 140 [$M{\Omega}$]. We can know progress direction of flame through measurement of the LED resistance.

Crosswalk detection is an important part of the Pedestrian Protection System in autonomous vehicles. Different methods of crosswalk detection have been introduced so far using crosswalk edge features, the distance between crosswalk blocks, laser scanning, Hough Transformation, and Fourier Transformation. However, most of these methods failed to detect crosswalks accurately, when they are damaged, faded away or partly occluded. Furthermore, these methods face difficulties when applying on real road environment where there are lot of vehicles. In this paper, we solve this problem by first using a region based binarization technique and x-axis histogram to detect the candidate crosswalk areas. Then, we apply Support Vector Machine (SVM) based classification method to decide whether the candidate areas contain a crosswalk or not. Experiment results prove that our method can detect crosswalks in different environment conditions with higher recognition rate even they are faded away or partly occluded.

The concept of jigs and fixtures makes it possible to build fixtures that can be dismantled at project completion. Since this concept is modular, it is not limited to any particular unit shapes or sizes. Various standards assure that each component assemble rapidly, to get precision and accuracy. Best suited for prototype and low volume production, as well as, start-up or zero-runs, it can also substitute for damaged dedicated fixtures to minimize down-time. It need to do DB for each part by Pro/Engineer and to assemble before manufacturing. In the future will assemble each of clamping and position parts by automation.

Arc welding is sometimes used to repair damaged cast iron parts in diesel engine for driving a ship. In this case cola arc welding. is good for. saving the time and results in good repairing. But if some difference in hardness on welding zones made with AWS E Ni-CI and NiFe-CI. happen, repaired parts would be cracked in a short. In order to overcome this default, the study is performed on varying preheating temperature of welding parts, selecting welding rod and welding work way. The result will be used on ship's repair working shop.
