건물에너지성능 및 불쾌현휘를 고려한 고정형 블라인드의 최적 슬랫각도 도출 방법에 관한 연구 (A Elicitation Method of Optimum Slat Angle of Fixed Venetian Blind Considering Energy Performance and Discomfort Glare in Buildings)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum slat angle of the venetian blind which was applied at an outer skin of a curtain-wall system. The evaluation of the blind slat angle was performed in terms of the comfortable visual environment and decreased energy consumption. The office building prototype was considered for the analysis and simulation variables include application of blind, blind slat angle and dimming control of lighting. The annual energy consumption and incidence rate of discomfort glare were analyzed using EnergyPlus which is developed by the U. S. Department of Energy for the detailed building energy simulation. As a result, it turns out that when the blind (reflectance: 0.5) was installed, the annual energy consumption was greater than that of the base model. However, when the dimming control was applied, the maximum energy saving of 16.3% could be achieved at a slat angle of $0^{\circ}$. In addition, in case of the base model, the incidence rate of discomfort glare was 84%, while the case of the blind with the slat angle of $0^{\circ}$ showed that the incidence rate of discomfort glare was 42.4%. Consequently, the results showed that the slat angle of $55^{\circ}$ with dimming control was the optimum strategy for the comfortable visual environment and decreased energy consumption.

  • 본 연구는 기존의 인터넷 경매에서 Auctioneer와 Auction Issuer(AI)의 결탁을 막기 위한 안전하고 효율적인 경매 프로토콜인 blind signature protocol을 제안한다. 제안한 프로토콜에 사용되는 blind signature의 괴는 안전성과 속도면에서 우수한 ECC(Elliptic Curves Cryptosystem)에서 생성한다. 이는 이전의 blind signature키에 사용한 RSA 키사이즈의 정수위에서 구현하는 것 보다 훨씬 암호강도가 세며 속도가 빠르다. 따라서 제안한 프로토콜은 독단적인 Auctioneer의 행동을 막을 수 있으며, Auctioneer와 AI의 결탁이 없는 안전하고 효율적인 인터넷 경매를 할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문에서는 전자화폐 시스템의 인출 프로토콜의 안전성에 관해서 고찰한다. 익명성을 제공하는 인출 프로토콜에서는 사용자 인증과 더불어 은닉 서명을 동시에 사용한다. 먼저 은닉 서명을 분류하고, 이들 은닉서명 프로토콜과 사용자 인증 프로토콜의 결합 방식 중에서 인증후 은닉서명 방식(Identification-then-Blind Signature)에 대한 공격을 설명한다. 그리고 인증과 은닉서명을 동시에 하는 방식(Identification-and-Blind Signature)을 이용해서 명시적 수신자 은닉 서명(Blind Signature Scheme with Explicit Identified Receiver)을 제안하며, 그것들의 안전성에 대해서 분석한다.

  • The objective of this study is to develop the blind control strategy and method which reduce negative effect of incoming daylight on visual comfort of occupants, minimize psychological anxieties caused by frequent motions of a blind, and maximize positive effect of incoming daylight and solar irradiation by opening/closing of a blind. As previous researches on blind controls have limited outdoor environmental conditions to those in specific regions, orientations and dates, these resulted in problems at various conditions for general-purpose application. Major problem is that the time interval and amount of blind movement do not meet the control objective at the end of control zone and discontinuous curve. To overcome these limitations revealed in the previous researches, following tasks were performed in this study. 1) To establish the control objective to accomplish the goal of this study. 2) To develop the control methods and algorithms which prevent glare on the work-plane at any time and which control the time interval and amount of blind movement to follow the control objective at various profile angle curves. 3) To validate the general-purpose applicability and performance of the developed control methods and algorithms by simulation and its data analysis at various conditions. It was found that the proposed methods and algorithms can prevent the direct glare on the work-plane at all the time and also increase the incoming daylight and solar irradiation.

Morphological Analysis of Blind-Side Hypermelanosis of the Starry Flounder, Platichthys stellatus during Early Development

  • In Pleuronectiformes, blind-side malpigmentation (hypermelanosis) is common in cultured flatfishes, and is economically important. To understand the mechanism of blind-side hypermelanosis in flatfishes, we examined when the malpigmentation initially occurred, and studied how the symptoms proceeded during early development of the starry flounder, Platichthys stellatus. To assess quantitative pattern changes of blind-side skin, we observed morphological development of the whole body from 22 (total length [TL] $10.0{\pm}0.2$ mm and body weight [BW] $8.8{\pm}0.57$ mg) to 110 days (TL $23.4{\pm}0.7$ mm, BW $193.6{\pm}23.3$ mg) after hatching (DAH), and also examined the malpigmented area rate of blind-side skin and the malpigmented fish ratios. The experimental animals were reared in fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks in water at a temperature of $18.9{\pm}1.9^{\circ}C$ and salinity of $32.6{\pm}0.6$ psu and were fed with rotifer and Artemia nauplii from 22 to 48 DAH, and with A. nauplii and commercial feed from 49 to 110 DAH. As results, the first staining patch seen by the naked eye was observed around the area between the anus and pelvic fin or caudal edge of the trunk at 80 DAH (TL $20.6{\pm}0.5$ mm, BW $112.5{\pm}8.8$ mg). The pigmented area and the pigmented fish ratios were significantly increased from 80 to 110 DAH. These results indicated that malpigmentation on the blind side of starry flounder was initially observed at about 2 cm in length and 100 mg in weight, and the pigmented domain on the blind-side skin was continually broadened by the differentiation of pigmented cells (melanophores and xanthophores) with growth.

MUSIC 알고리즘 기반 블라인드 빔포밍 등화 시스템 (Blind Beamforming Equalization System Based on MUSIC Algorithm)

  • 블라인드 등화기법은 트레이닝 시퀀스 없이 수신된 신호만을 가지고 채널 등화를 할 수 있다. 블라인드 등화시스템은 트레이닝 시퀀스가 존재하지 않기 때문에 블라인드 등화 시스템을 통해서 대역 효율을 향상시킬 수 있는 장점이 있습니다. 이 때문에 이동 위성 통신에서 유저들의 이동으로 인해서 발생하는 ISI를 제거하기 위해서 블라인드 등화시스템을 사용해야 합니다. 트레이닝 시퀀스를 사용하지 않기 때문에 우리는 블라인드 등화기시스템을 통해 대역 효율을 증가시킬 수 있으며, 트레이닝 시퀀스를 사용하지 않는 이동 통신의 수신기에서는 블라인드 등화를 사용해야 합니다. 블라인드 등화는 이동 위성 통신 채널에 적합합니다. 이 블라인드 등화를 이동 위성 통신 시스템에 적용시켜 BER 성능을 향상시키는 것은 매우 중요합니다. 본 논문에서는 MCMA와 SAG MCMA를 적용한 블라인드 등화 시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 빔포밍과 MUSIC 알고리즘 그리고 coordinate change 기법을 적용해서 BER 성능이 향상됨을 시뮬레이션을 통해서 확인할 수 있다.

효율적인 ID 기반 부분은닉서명에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficient ID-based Partially Blind Signature)

  • 부분은닉서명은 서명자가 은닉서명을 발행할 때 그가 삽입하기를 원하는 어떠한 정보를 서명에 삽입할 수 있도록 하는 암호방식으로 전자화폐나 전자투표 등 주로 행위자의 행동이 노출되어서는 안되는 보안서비스에 중요하게 활용되며 전자화폐시스템에서 은행의 데이터베이스의 무제한적인 증가문제도 해결할 수 있는 암호방식이다. 본 논문에서는 GDH군에서의 ID 기반의 효율적인 부분은닉서명 방식을 제안한다. 제안한 방식은 Weil-pairing과 같은 bilinear 함수를 사용하며 CDHP의 어려움에 기반을 두고 있으며 기존의 부분은닉서명에 비하여 통신량, 통신횟수, 연산량을 줄여 무선 환경에 적용할 수 있는 효율적인 서명방식이다.

음향반향제거기에서 암묵신호분리를 이용한 동시통화처리 (Double Talk Processing using Blind Signal Separation in Acoustic Echo Canceller)

  • This paper is on an acoustic echo canceller solving the double-talk problem by using the blind signal separation technology. The acoustic echo canceller may be deteriorated or diverged during the double-talk period. So we use the blind signal separation to detect the double talking by separating the near-end speech signal from the mixed microphone signal. The blind signal separation extracts the near-end signal from dual microphones by the iterative computations using the 2nd order statistical character in the closed reverberation environment. By this method, the acoustic echo canceller operates irrespective of the double-talking. We verified performances of the proposed acoustic echo canceller in the computer simulations. The results show that the acoustic echo canceller with this algorithm detects the double-talk periods well, and then operates stably without diverging of the coefficients after ending the double-talking. The merits are in the simplicity and stability.

  • To help the blind to find the information easily on World Wide Web, this research has tried to develop the device which enables us to convert HTML for the general into HTML for the blind. This program consists of the items as follows: 1. Web Robot to gather the internet browser and the general HTML. 2. Restoring DB by Parsing process 3. Multimedia editor for the use of web DB to add the literal and acoustic description to the editing function. 4. Convertor which gathers the DB and then changes into HTML for the blind. This project is designed to make it easy for the manager to establish the web site for the blind. We expect that this program will basically help the blind to overcome the inequality in the common information.

암묵신호분리를 이용한 스테레오 음향반향제거기 (An Acoustic Echo Canceller for Stereo Using Blind Signal Separation)

  • This paper is on a stereo acoustic echo canceller with the blind signal separation. The convergence speed of the stereo acoustic echo canceller is deteriorated due to mixing two residual signals in the update signal of each echo canceller. To solve this problem, we are to use the blind signal separation(BSS) method separating the mixed signals. The blind signal separation method can extracts the source signals by means of the iterative computations with two input signals. We had verified performances of the proposed acoustic echo canceller for stereo through simulations. The results of simulations show that the acoustic echo canceller for stereo using this algorithm operates stably without divergence in the normal state. And, when the speech signals were inputted, this echo canceller achieved about 3dB higher ERLE in the case of using the BSS algorithm than the case of not using the BSS algorithm. But this echo canceller didn't get good performances in the case of inputting the white noises as stereo signals.
